Had to get a replacement bus pass which required the woman working( forgot her name but was working today) to ring multiple people but she sorted it as quickly as she could and I got my pass. I should of had to go to Manchester but she sorted it there in Wigan. Was very friendly and I'm very grateful!

A great experience

All the staff were helpful and friendly. Lyndsey spent time finding us a holiday that fitted our requirements perfectly. She talked through all the documents with us and double checked everything which was reassuring. Lyndsey also gave us different options for check in and transfers. Josh helped us download the Hayes travel card app and explained how to use it which was appreciated. We will definitely be going back to book future holidays.

We booked again with yourself we was…

We booked again with yourself we was happy to do so , but the price we was quoted went up by a quite a lot after we paid a large deposit all because we wanted a private transfer after our last experience

The friendly and polite staff made booking so easy. They listen to what you want. A big factor In choosing to book a second holiday within a few weeks was the way the staff checked us in and printed out all our travel documents. This was a big bonus as my printer isn’t working.

Amazing service

Just a few months before we was due to go on holiday we recieved an email to inform us our hotel was being renovated. This allowed to change hotels with no admin fee. The team looked after us and went above and beyond to make sure was happy. Even with our indecisiveness and mind changing, they didn't get frustrated with us and the 5* customer service never slipped. Maggie or Madie ( sorry i cant quite remember her name )who was mostly dealing with us was a new starter, but handle us with warmth, freindlyness and professionalism. A super star in the making! Her manager who helped her out was great too. Service like this is rare these days and has won me over to be a repeat customer. Thank you ladies.

Wigan Bus Station is a bus station in Wigan , Greater Manchester . It is a convenient hub for travellers exploring nearby destinations and beyond.

The new station opened in October 2018 and boasts 19 stands. Around 30 bus routes are operated by companies such as Stagecoach and Arriva. 

Services and Facilities 

Wigan Bus Station boasts good services and facilities to cater to passengers’ needs. They include:

• Electronic displays showing live bus departure times, route information, service changes, and more
• Covered concourse with comfortable seating
• Travel shop for purchasing tickets and passes – staff can answer questions regarding bus services, including routes, schedules, and fares
• Toilets and accessible toilets

• Covered cycle stands for those using bikes as part of their trip

There is no cafe or restaurant at the station. However, passengers can easily get refreshments. There are many shops, cafes, takeaways, and pubs in the immediate area.

There’s no car park at the station. The nearest are the car parks on Mona Street, Water Street, and Civic Centre.

In addition to being well-positioned within Wigan’s town centre, its location also boasts superb accessibility to other transport options. Wigan North Western Train Station and Wigan Wallgate Train Station are just a short walk away.

Wigan North Western is on the West Coast Main Line. It offers direct services to major cities across the UK. Destinations include Glasgow, Preston, Liverpool, London, and Birmingham.
