- Their stylish and comfortable ferries depart from the International Passenger Terminal in North Shields, near Newcastle, with DFDS buses offering passenger connections from Newcastle Central Station.
Mini-cruise
- This Deal is for two people to go on a two night mini-cruise to Amsterdam from Newcastle, from March to June.
- Children up to the age of three can travel for free and can occupy a two-berth cabin, alongside two adults.
- Mini-cruise passengers depart North Shields at 5pm for an overnight cruise to Amsterdam. After a relaxing rest in your en-suite cabin, the ferry arrives at IJmuiden where coaches will transfer you to central Amsterdam.
- You will have around five hours to explore Amsterdam. Choose from the culture of the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh collection, the colourful sights of the old city centre, a scenic stroll by the canals, or the chic boutiques and bars of the Jordaan.
- There is also an abundance of places to eat and drink, from traditional pubs to trendy bars and thousands of restaurants from all corners of the globe. Sample Amsterdam’s favourite restaurant staple, the traditional Indonesian rijstaffel.
- The return coach will take you back to the port from Amsterdam.

- For many travellers, the ferry crossing itself is a major part of the fun. DFDS vessels on the Newcastle to Amsterdam crossing offer the chance to settle into a seat and enjoy the latest movies in the intimate cinema, relax in the coffee shop or enjoy a drink and live music show.
- There are two onboard restaurants to choose from, with menus to suit most preferences and budgets. These are available to reserve in advance when making your booking.

Bookings must be made by 31.05.24 at latest or risk forfeit of purchase.
There is a £25 per cabin supplement for bookings travelling Thursday to Saturday inclusive. This supplement is not included in the offer price.

If the 2-berth inside standard cabin with bunk beds is unavailable on a selected date, you may use your purchase to deduct the value from a more expensive cabin.

Multiple purchases are permitted. Max 1 redeemable per 2 people.
Children 0-3 (infants) travel for free and can occupy a 2-berth cabin. Children 4-11 use a berth and do not travel for free – 1 child aged 4 or over plus 1 adult will fill the 2-berth cabin.
DFDS operates 100% cancellation charges. No amendments permitted once your booking has been made.
