I Love London it's my favorite city to visit, I would live in or near there if I was ever given the chance!!

This is a very beautiful country. The gateway to Europe.

I love London as a city. I grew up near New York City and it reminds me a lot of New York. We have direct flights from Orlando to London so Its not too much of a hassle to get there. Love it and looking forward to returning!

Go with someone special to you. it makes all the difference :)

If you are using tube/underground for getting around be prepared for a lot of stairs!

This was our first time in London and we loved it. It was unfortunate that it was just before the COVID-19 shutdown, but that worked to our advantage since it was less crowded than usual. We loved staying in Trafalgar Square and loved the sites.

As well as offering unparalleled sightseeing and culture, London today also promises a thriving foodie scene and peaceful parks, for when you need to escape the restless rush of the city.

Visit the Museum of London to find out about the fascinating story of Britainā€™s capital city. Learn about its origins at the Roman settlement Londinium, as well as the invasions and occupations that shaped the city in the following two millennia.

One of the best ways to spend your time in London is hopping between its numerous world-class museums and galleries, most of which are free to enter. The British Museum and the National Gallery are two of the most famous, but there are dozens more to discover. Learn about the history of healthcare in the Wellcome Collection or chart the story of design in the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Saatchi Gallery also offer hours of entertainment.

Coronavirus wrecker the trip but it was great to be here!

Hop on hop off buses are great to give you an idea about where to go.Dont expect to be able to do too many things in one day. Most shops in Oxford St dont open until 10am. There will be a bit of walking and steep stairs .

5/5 - Excellent

Seemed less stressed this trip. Customer service everywhere was friendly, people smiled and generally were helpful when you asked questions. Was a nice sunny crisp spring day. Cleaner streets than usual too.

We have been to London many times before and there was no need to visit any tourists attractions. We went for our motherā€™s 90th birthday. London was cold, windy and raining.

We didn't plan to go here but decided to add the city to our trip and was really glad we did. Had an amazing time. Extrmely expensive however.

Dating to Roman times, London is a multicultural capital famous for its royal landmarks and manicured gardens as well as contemporary skyscrapers like The Gherkin. The city really shines in summer, when it hosts events ranging from the Wimbledon tennis tournament to music festivals like BST Hyde Park. Theater and art exhibitions are a constant, and the dining scene encompasses classic pub fare, elevated West African, hearty Italian, vegetarian Indian, you name it.

TIP FROM KELVIN

ā€œVery few people know about the tiny wine shop in the basement, where occasional intimate wine-tastings are held for no more than six people. It's even possible to arrange a bespoke tasting.ā€

Rosewood London

Rosewood knew what it was doing when it chose 252 High Holborn for its first London address. The building is an Edwardian treasure, rich in heritage features, including a grand staircase winding up towards the central dome above. Before entering, you pass through huge cast iron gates into an arched carriageway and across a cobbled courtyard. Inside, thereā€™s an extensive art collection that includes a British bulldog statue wearing a Vivienne Westwood collar. Contemporary rooms are furnished in shades of grey, white, and taupe, and there are toiletries from British beauty brands. Even the spa incorporates local touches with treatments including a British rose facial and a detoxifying body treatment incorporating Epsom salts. Before sightseeing, tuck into complimentary daily breakfast for two at the Holborn Dining Room, known for its elevated British cuisine.

ā€œScarfe's Bar in the Rosewood is decorated with cartoons by Gerald Scarfe and exudes the atmosphere of a private memberā€™s club. It regularly features on lists of the worldā€™s best bars and is worth visiting for the nightly live jazz.ā€

The Ned London

Fittingly, the Ned is close to the also trendy Shoreditch neighborhood.

Statement credits are typically received within a few days, however it may take 90 days after an eligible prepaid hotel booking is chargedā€Æto the Card Account. American Express relies on the merchantā€™s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. The transaction date may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date. This means that in some cases your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31st but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, then the statement credit available in the next calendar year will be applied. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is cancelled or modified. If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is a booking: (i) made with a property not included in the Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection programs, (ii) not made through American Express Travel, or (iii) not made with an eligible Card. Participating properties and their availability are subject to change. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance. Please refer toĀ  AmericanExpress.com/FHR Ā andĀ  AmericanExpress.com/HC Ā for more information about Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, respectively.Ā
