Months after releasing the band’s 11th studio album But Here We Are — the first project since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins — Foo Fighters have announced that they’ll return to the States for the Everything or Nothing at All Tour in 2024, with tickets now on sale (and selling fast).

The newly announced Foo Fighters’ dates officially kick off in July 2024, with stops in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, and wrapping up in Seattle next August. The tour dates follow a global tour schedule for the band, including legs in Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe. But if you want to see the Foo Fighters live next summer for the North American stadium tour, here’s where you can find tickets before they’re sold out.

When Do Foo Fighters Tickets Go on Sale?

Foo Fighters tickets to the Everything or Nothing at All tour dates in 2024 are now available to buy online. Public on-sale started Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 on Ticketmaster , and demand is expected to be high.

For now, you can buy tickets at face value through Ticketmaster for the dates that are still available. But if you missed your shot at snagging tickets and your city’s already sold out, you have a few reliable spots to find resale stubs, below.

The newly announced leg of the Everything or Nothing at All Tour will kick off with the band’s return to New York’s Citi Field for the first time since 2015 for a July 17 and 19 doubleheader and will see Foo Fighters host 12 rock ’n’ roll marathons at 10 stadiums, including a pair of shows August  9 and 11 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Foo Fighters will hit a run of U.S. stadiums next summer on their Everything or Nothing At All tour . The Dave Grohl-fronted band announced the dates for the 12-show string of 2024 gigs on Monday morning (Oct. 2), with the shows slated to kick-off on July 17 with the first of two shows at Citi Field in New York.

The Foos have been on the road all summer in support of their 11th album, But Here We Are , with the new stadium shows marking their biggest headlining U.S. gigs announced so far. The Foos’ next scheduled show is on Tuesday (Oct. 3) at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, AZ, followed by a handful of other U.S. shows before the band heads to Dubai for the F1 Grand Prix Event on Nov. 26 and then shows in Australia and New Zealand from late November through late January 2024.

What Is Foo Fighters’ Next Tour?

Foo Fighters’ 2023 tour is still ongoing, and will wrap up with a string of Australian dates at the end of the year. After that, the band will take a few months off, before heading to the UK in June 2024 for a tour , with Wet Leg and Courntey Barnett joining on certain dates.

Once the UK tour wraps, the band will gear up for their North American jaunt, which will kick off on July 17th with a performance at Citi Field in New York. After that, they’ll head up to Boston, before cutting through the country en route to California, stopping in Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Denver, and more along the way.

After they arrive on the West Coast for a show in San Diego on August 7th, they’ll head north, stopping in Los Angeles and Portland before one final performance in Seattle on August 18th. Check out the full list of dates below.

Tickets for Foo Fighters’ 2024 North American shows will first become available through an artist pre-sale, which will open on Ticketmaster on Tuesday, October 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code TEACHER ). After that, there will also be a Live Nation pre-sale, which opens on Thursday, October 5th, at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code VOCALS ).

Tickets will then go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster on Friday, October 6th, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Named the Everything or Nothing at All tour, the band will play six major stadium dates throughout the UK in June 2024.

The tour will be in support of their 11th studio album But Here We Are , which was released at the beginning of June.

In addition, anyone who bought tickets to the cancelled 2022 UK world tour should also have received an unique online code granting them access to presale tickets from 9am BST on 28 June.

The band cancelled all dates on their worldwide 2022 tour following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Their last performance as a band was on 20 March 2022 at the Lollapalooza festival.

A statement released across the Foo Fighters social media channels read: “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins.

“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”

It has been reported that standing tickets will go for around £75, and seated tickets price point ranges from £54 to £105.

How to get tickets for Foo Fighters’ 2024 UK stadium tour

The rock band will be visiting five major cities across the country

Following their (not at all) secret Pyramid Stage set and Dave Grohl randomly popping up at a bunch of other performances at Glasto last weekend, the Foo Fighters have announced that they will be returning to the UK for a huge stadium tour in 2024. 

The band’s Everything or Nothing At All tour will span six dates in five major cities across, starting in  Manchester and finishing in Birmingham . It follows the release of their eleventh studio album ‘But Here We Are’ in January, the first since the sudden death of their longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. Here’s everything you need to know.

When do Foo Fighters tickets go on sale? 

General sale for the tour opens at 9am on Friday, June 30. Tickets are limited to eight per household. 

Is there a presale? 

Absolutely. Presale began at 9am on Wednesday, June 28 and ends at 10pm on Thursday, June 29. You can also find it on Ticketmaster but be aware tickets are limited to six per household.

When are the Foo Fighters touring the UK?

You’ve got another year to wait before the tour actually kicks off. That should leave plenty of time to mentally prepare. Here’s the full list of dates:

'Break it up': DOJ sues Live Nation and Ticketmaster to reduce ticket prices

The lawsuit is much broader than the one that allowed live nation to merge with ticketmaster in 2010, justice department officials said..

• The Justice Department and 30 states sued Live Nation and Ticketmaster alleging they monopolized ticketing for concerts and venues for performers.
• Live Nation bills itself as 'the largest live entertainment company in the world,' but that dominance is what federal officials allege allow it to dominate the industry.

WASHINGTON – The Justice Department, 29 states and the District of Columbia sued Live Nation Entertainment, the parent company of Ticketmaster , on Thursday alleging it monopolized live events. The lawsuit seeks to lower prices for fans and open venue doors to more musicians.

Live Nation , which generates $22 billion a year in revenue, owns or controls more than 265 concert venues in North America, including 60 of the top 100 amphitheaters, such as the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, according to the department. The company bills itself as “the largest live entertainment company in the world."

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said that dominance allowed the company to exert control over the live-events industry in a way that hurt fans , performers, smaller promoters and venue operators. The company uses outdated technology that deprives fans of ticketing information, according to the federal lawsuit filed in New York.

The department refers to the company's fees as “essentially a ‘Ticketmaster Tax’ that ultimately raise the price fans pay.”

“The result is that fans pay more in fees, artists have fewer opportunities to play concerts, smaller promoters get squeezed out, and venues have fewer real choices for ticketing services,” Garland said. “It is time to break up Live Nation.”

The lawsuit doesn't specify how the company should be broken up or how much more fans paid for tickets collectively because of the alleged monopolistic behavior.

Attorneys general from both parties joined the lawsuit, including Democrats in California and New York and Republicans in Texas and Oklahoma.

What does the lawsuit allege?

The lawsuit alleged the company’s “flywheel” strategy captures fees and revenue from concert fans and sponsorships, pours the revenue into signing artists to exclusive promotion deals and wields the cache of artists to sign venues into exclusive, long-term ticketing deals.

"Because when families want to attend a concert, the add-on fees they need to pay shouldn’t break the bank," U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said. "When an independent venue wants to host the next big show, they should have the opportunity to compete. And when a regional promoter wants to publicize an artist, they shouldn’t have to fear retaliation." 

The fees Ticketmaster charges for concerts can be staggering. For example, a 2022 Red Hot Chili Peppers show at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, had per-ticket fees of $25.75, plus $3.49 for processing , meaning one concertgoer would pay $29.24, an additional 36% of the original $81.50 ticket cost.

Dan Wall, Live Nation’s executive vice president for corporate and regulatory affairs, said in a statement that the lawsuit blames promoters and ticketing companies for high prices when neither controls the price of tickets. Artists typically set or approve ticket prices, and venues set and keep the majority of fees rather than Ticketmaster, according to Wall.

“It ignores everything that is actually responsible for higher ticket prices, from increasing production costs to artist popularity, to 24/7 online ticket scalping that reveals the public’s willingness to pay far more than primary tickets cost,” Wall said.

The lawsuit is much broader than the one that led to the Justice Department reaching a consent decree in 2010 that allowed Live Nation to merge with Ticketmaster, according to department officials. The lawsuit alleges monopolization in all aspects of the business, including promotion of events, access to venues and ticket sales.

The lawsuit accuses Live Nation of:

• Retaliating against potential competitors.
• Locking out competitors by signing venues into long-term contracts that block rival ticket sellers or ticketing technology. Ticketmaster’s exclusive agreements cover more than 70% of concert ticket sales at major concert venues.
• Restricting artist access to venues by owning or controlling access to the locations.

Live Nation's reaction

Live Nation and Ticketmaster issued a statement saying the bulk of ticket fees go to venues and competition has eroded Ticketmaster’s market share. The companies said a 1.4% annual profit reflects the “opposite of monopoly power.”

“The DOJ's lawsuit won't solve the issues fans care about relating to ticket prices, service fees, and access to in-demand shows,” the statement said. “We will defend against these baseless allegations, use this opportunity to shed light on the industry, and continue to push for reforms that truly protect consumers and artists.”

DOJ lawsuit latest criticism of Ticketmaster

Criticism of Ticketmaster's ticket- selling practices and lack of competition is not new but reached a crescendo after ticket sales for Taylor Swift's Eras tour resulted in major delays and errors in online queues to buy tickets.

“Since Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift ticketing debacle in 2022, my AG colleagues and I have relentlessly sought justice for Americans wanting to attend concerts without having their pocketbooks pillaged by Live Nation’s monopoly,” Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti said in a statement.

Other music star fans and musicians, including Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters and Garth Brooks, have long criticized Ticketmaster's practices. Garland, who said he could remember being transformed as a college senior seeing a young Springsteen warming up for Bonnie Raitt, said the department filed the lawsuit on behalf of fans.

"We all knew that we had just seen the future of rock and roll," Garland said. "The Justice Department filed this lawsuit on behalf of fans, who should be able to go to concerts without a monopoly standing in their way. We have filed this lawsuit on behalf of artists, who should be able to plan their tours around their fans, and not be dictated by an unlawful monopolist."

There is also a throwback to the group’s 1997 breakout album, “The Colour and The Shape,” in the form of one of the prints utilising the iconic “molecule” motif used for the cover of their celebrated album which included “Monkey Wrench” and “Everlong” - staples of the band’s live sets.

For those however looking for something for the cooler months, the band will also be selling both a long-sleeve “Devil” shirt and a durable crewneck jumper (which we used to call hoodies at some point), with once again a list of tour dates on the back.

But if you’re not in the mood for something to demonstrate you were at one of the numerous UK tour dates the Foo Fighters are about to embark on next month, the band are still offering two shirts specifically for the album. The yellow “bat” shirt and for those who are reeling from the end of the Premier League season after the weekend, each Foo Fighters member has their football shirt - or soccer shirt, for our North American friends. 

When are Foo Fighters commencing their 2024 UK tour?

The Foo Fighters kick off their UK tour on June 13 2024 with two nights at the Emirates Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester, followed by dates in Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Birmingham.
