Tyler, The Creator Is Coming to Australia and New Zealand for an Arena Tour Next Winter

While it's been a long time between drinks for international tours here in Australia, overseas artists are beginning to pencil in dates for Australian shows next year. With our vaccination rate on the rise, and Prime Minister Scott Morrison announcing a roadmap towards opening up our borders, 2022 tours are beginning to feel a little more possible.

So far, Lorde has locked in February and March dates off the back of her just-dropped album Solar Power, and Splendour in the Grass is shooting for a return next July with three international headliners on the cards. One of those headliners is US hip-hop and fashion trailblazer Tyler, The Creator who has now revealed plans for his own headline tour around Australia and New Zealand in 2022.

Tyler, The Creator has announced a set of tour dates alongside his appearance at Splendour's 20th-anniversary festival to support the release of his latest album Call Me If You Get Lost.  Australian and New Zealand fans can catch the genre-bending album, which features collaborations with the likes of DJ Drama, Lil Wayne and Pharrell Williams, performed alongside back-catalogue hits from Tyler at four dates throughout July and August.

The tour will kick off at Auckland's Spark Arena on Friday, July 22, before heading across the ditch to land at Perth's RAC Arena on Tuesday, July 26. This will be followed by performances at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, July 29 and Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, August 2. Accompanying the hip-hop favourite on tour will be R'n'B singer-songwriter and frequent Tyler, The Creator collaborator Kali Uchis.

The last time Tyler graced Australian shores was for a series of festival appearances over New Years 2020/21, hitting up the likes of Beyond the Valley and Field Day . The upcoming 2022 arena tour will, however, mark Tyler, The Creator's first set of headline shows down under in over eight years.

Amazing experience... Taco was an amazing DJ doing a great job of hyping the crowd up. Then Vince came out and killed it just a great set. the stage design was like no other the rotating screens were really cool and it was nice that they put timers up so we knew when Vince would come out. Tyler's performance was just amazing he performed for 2 1/2 hours and he really is a great performer, he performed both old and new songs there wasn't a favorite of mine that he missed. The stage design was so cool with a huge tree for Tyler to stand on. Tyler really cares about his fans he sang happy birthday to this one dude which was so sick. The show was sold out so 2,400 people were all singing the words to his songs which was just amazing the best concert experience I have ever had I have to go see him live again.

Rex Orange County opened with dope beach vibes then later joined in on "Boredom". After Rex finished, Tyler carried the show alone reflecting the energy of the whole crowd. He is a lightening storm on stage. He said that one of his goals on this tour is to see the crowd dance and his beats strongly reflect that sentiment. If you find yourself lucky at one of his shows, do yourself a favor; wear sneakers and don't bring your drink into the mosh pit, you're in for a treat.

I loved every min of his performance.. I loved and appreciated the re-verb of ''tell these black kids they can be who they are'' means so much to us. And I know this isn't his favorite album and It didn't come out as this ''star studded'' album. But there's no one couldn't have said it better than Tyler at this time. So I want to thank him for that. Maybe he will finally be able to score a movie that would be so !!!!

Tyler Childers has announced an Australian leg of his Mule Pull world tour, with six headline shows and a festival on the itinerary for next February.

The trek will begin in Brisbane (Meanjin) on Thursday February 6, when Childers and his band, The Food Stamps, take over the Sandstone Point Hotel. They’ll hit up The Green Room in Byron Bay (Arakwal) the following night (February 9), before rolling on south for a show at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney (Eora) on Wednesday February 12.

From there, Childers will play the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne (Naarm) on Thursday February 20, then wrap the tour up with a special show at the Coal Creek Community Park & Museum in Korumburra on Saturday February 22.

Tickets for all six of Childers’ headline shows go on sale at 10am local time this Friday (July 12), following two presales: one for Mastercard customers that kicks off at 1pm tomorrow (July 9), followed by one for Live Nation and Love Police members that kicks off at 2pm this Thursday (July 11) – head here for more info on all ticket sales.

Since his last visit, Tyler has become a superstar around the world. A trailblazer, an inspiration to many and a deliverer of excellent live shows. Can’t wait for everyone to feel it in February.”

The tour comes in support of Childers’ sixth studio album, Rustin’ In The Rain , which arrived last September. He’s also released two more albums since his last visit to Australia: Long Violent History in 2020, and Can I Take My Hounds To Heaven? in 2022.

Vivid Seats is the New York Post’s official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase.

Stray Kids just found a few places to stay this year and next.

The beloved K-Pop group just announced the first leg of their ‘dominATE Tour’ that will send them to arenas and stadiums all over Asia and Australia from August 2024 through January 2025.

Notable stops on the run include shows at Seoul’s KSPO Dome (Aug. 24-25 and Aug. 31-Sept. 1), Tokyo’s Tokyo Dome (Nov. 14, 16-17), Macau’s Galaxy Arena on (Nov. 29-30), Osaka’s Kyocera Dome (Dec. 5, 7-8) and Hong Kong’s Asiaworld Arena (Jan. 18-19, 2025).

Prior to the tour, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. are slated to bring the hits to London’s Hyde Park on July 14; they’ll also headline at Chicago’s Lollapalooza on Aug. 2.

Can’t wait to see the group that brought the world “LALALALA,” “S-Class,” “God’s Menu” and “Maniac” live?

You’re in the right place, STAYS.

Fans can purchase tickets for select upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats ; the official on-sale for the tour has yet to be announced.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

A complete calendar including all ‘dominATE Tour’ dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below.

As noted above, Stray Kids will bring their talents to Lollapalooza this year.

They’ll be joined by big names like SZA , The Killers , Tyler The Creator , Hozier and Blink-182 at the festivities.

Plus, fellow K-Pop group Ive will be there, too.

Want to go?

Single and multi-day passes can be scooped up right here .

The raucous eight-member group always give their all when they perform live.

However, since their show has so many moving parts, high-wire dance moves and choreography, the set list doesn’t change often.

Based on our findings, here’s what they often brought to the stage for their 2023 ‘MANIAC Tour’:

01.) “MANIAC”

02.) “VENOM”

03.) “Red Lights” (OT8 version)

04.) “Easy”

05.) “ALL IN” (Korean Version)

06.) “District 9”

07.) “Back Door”

08.) “Charmer”

09.) “Lonely St.”

10.) “Side Effects”

11.) “Thunderous”

12.) “DOMINO”

13.) “God’s Menu”

14.) “CHEESE”

15.) “YAYAYA”

16.) “ROCK”

17.) “If the World Was Ending” (JP Saxe cover)

18.) “Youth” (Troye Sivan cover)

26.) “Victory Song” (MAMA version)

27.) “My Pace”

28.) “MIROH”

29.) “Star Lost”

30.) “Haven”

The above set list was courtesy of  Set List FM .

In November 2023, Stray Kids dropped the freewheeling  “ROCK-STAR.”

Made up of eight tracks, the group shows off their Hip-Hop chops right off the bat with the electric opener “MEGAVERSE” that refuses to relent in its three-minute runtime.

Over the next seven songs — which includes a rock version of the hit “LALALALA” the high energy eight-piece maintains that manic yet playful energy jumping from pop to Hip-Hop to love ballads with ease.

If you want to hear for yourself, you can find “ROCK-STAR”  here .

Since then, Stray Kids have dropped a pair of singles- “Lose My Breath” featuring Charlie Puth and “Why.” Click here to give them a spin.

Can’t make it to Asia or Australia this year?

Tyler, the Creator Backs out of Major Music Festivals

Tyler, the Creator had to cancel his headlining performances at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands next month for "personal reasons."

By Megan Behnke - July 5, 2024 10:55 pm EDT

It seems this won't be a happy summer for fans of Tyler, the Creator . The rapper, who performed at Coachella in April, announced on X that he has to bow out of upcoming music festivals Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. He noted that he's "made a commitment that I can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. That is not sexy at all. Please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person."

Tyler, whose real name is Tyler Okonma, did not reveal the reason for the cancellations, but the official Outside Lands account shared that he had to bow out due to "personal reasons." The festival, which will take place Aug. 9 to 11 in San Francisco, also revealed that Sabrina Carpenter will take his place and headline on Aug. 10. Chicago-based Lollapalooza announced on their account that Megan Thee Stallion will be taking his place as headliner on Aug. 1.

There is still good news for fans hoping to see Tyler this year. This November will mark the 10th Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, a music festival and carnival curated by the rapper. The event will be at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles Nov. 16 and 17. Passes are currently sold out, but if people are interested, they are able to join the waitlist. All information is posted on the official website .

It's unknown if Tyler, the Creator has any other performances scheduled for the remainder of the year. However, he certainly seems to have a good reason for canceling Outside Lands and Lolla, so he can definitely take as much time as he needs before he feels ready to return, whatever the reason may be. At least he is still putting focus on his own music festival, and even though tickets are already sold out, it will still be exciting to see who will be joining him.

Meanwhile, Lollapalooza and Outside Lands will also still be very exciting, with plenty of artists to look forward to. It's very possible that Tyler could be added as a headliner to both festivals next summer in order to make up for this year, but that might also have to depend on what his schedule looks like a year from now. At the very least, it's clear that he did not want to cancel, which shows just how much he cares.

Tyler, the Creator Announces Tenth Edition of Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival

The Los Angeles music festival and carnival, which began in 2012, returns to Dodger's Stadium in November.

The tenth edition of Tyler, the Creator 's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival returns to the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers this fall.

One year after making its post-pandemic return to L.A. last fall, Camp Flog Gnaw will be held from November 16-17 at Dodger Stadium, with advance tickets going on sale online beginning Thursday, June 27th.

Poster for Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival announces its 10-year anniversary event on November 16 & 17, 2024, at Dodger Stadium. Advance tickets on sale June 27, 2024

The remainder of general passes will be made public the following day. Similar to previous years of CFG, different tiers of passes will be available, consisting of GA passes, VIP and Super VIP, the latter allowing attendees to access the venue through a dedicated entry lane, designated stage viewing areas, air-conditioned restrooms, exclusive food and merchandise, shaded seating areas, and more.

While the lineup will be announced later, but surely well ahead of CFG, the festival will likely draw some big names. Last year, the two-day show's headliners were The Hillbillies (composed of Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem ), SZA , and Tyler. Additional performers included Kali Uchis , Ice Spice , Clipse , Teezo Touchdown , Earl Sweatshirt , PinkPantheress , Toro y Moi , to name a few.

The announcement of the annual festival's upcoming dates follows Tyler, the Creator's tweet about canceling his headlining performances this year at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.

Tyler the Creator announces the cancellation of his performances at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands on Twitter, expressing regret and asking for forgiveness
