Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting Post Malone tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

Post Malone most recently performed in Australia and New Zealand in January and February this year, when he opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ tour. While performing in Melbourne in February, Post Malone brought out  Angus Stone for two songs. On May 16, the Grammy-nominated artist announced his 2023 trek — the If Y’All Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour — and jokingly revealed his motives in a statement. “I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and do some more shows for y’all,” he said. “Help me put a baby through college and come on out.”

Post Malone became a father in May 2022, when he welcomed a baby girl with his fiancée, whose identity is still not known. He confirmed that the two were expecting their first child to TMZ before the baby was secretly born. “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life,” he said. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad.” He nonchalantly revealed that the baby was already born in an interview with Howard Stern the next month. “I went, and I kissed my baby girl, and then I went,” he said, before Stern asked whether he meant his girlfriend or an actual baby girl. “No, that’s my daughter,” he clarified with a laugh.

The 27-year-old has since kept details about his daughter private. His 2023 outing follows last year’s Twelve Carat Tour , which played arenas across the U.S. and Europe, but don’t expect the same thing once again. Posty promises to put on a “completely reimagined show” filled with both new music from Austin and fan-favorite hits like “Circles” and “Rockstar,” complete with “cool new production” and “a very very handsome man up on stage” (himself, not a special guest).

Here’s everything you need to know about Post Malone’s If Y’All Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour.

Arts & entertainment, design & style, travel & leisure, search concrete playground, post malone is bringing his world tour to australia in 2023 — and he might be popping up at a certain festival too.

Post Malone Is Bringing His World Tour to Australia in 2023 — and He Might Be Popping Up at a Certain Festival Too

Everyone's favourite melancholic hitmaker Post Malone is coming back to Australia later this year. The global superstar was just in the country in January and February supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he must've enjoyed his time Down Under, because he's already announced a run of headline Australian shows as part of his If Y'all Weren't Here I'd Be Crying world tour .

Diamond-certified multiple times over, Posty will be hitting Sydney , Brisbane and Melbourne throughout November on this run of shows. You can catch him at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Thursday, November 23; The Domain in Sydney on Wednesday, November 29; and Melbourne Showgrounds on Thursday, November 30. He's also swinging past New Zealand beforehand for a show in Auckland on Tuesday, November 21.

The fun, however, does not stop there. Live Nation's tour poster for the Australian run of dates includes four other yet-to-be-announced stops: Canberra, Gold Coast, Ballarat and Perth. Interestingly, these locations lineup with where and when the touring festival Spilt Milk usually pops up. The festival is set to drop its lineup this coming Tuesday, July 4 at 8am, so it looks like Malone may be a real possibility to headline this year's edition.

This tour is in support of Post Malone's fifth studio album  Austin which is set to arrive on Friday, July 28 featuring recent singles 'Mourning' and 'Chemical'. You can expect a career-spanning performance dipping into his most recent album, 2022's Twelve Carat Toothache, and his catalogue of global smashes like 'Congratulations', 'Rockstar', 'Sunflower' and 'Circles'.

Check out the poster for Post Malone's Australian tour below — featuring the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane shows, as well as the unannounced Canberra, Gold Coast, Ballarat and Perth dates.

About Post Malone

A 8x diamond-certified GRAMMY® Award-nominated phenomenon, Dallas, TX artist Post Malone regularly rewrites history, blurs boundaries, and incites internet-breaking conversation with every move. Emerging in 2015 with a genre-less brew that inspired a movement, he delivered the diamond-selling “Congratulations” [feat. Quavo], achieved back-to-back #1 debuts on the  Billboard  Top 200, received countless multi-Platinum certifications around the world, and smashed one record after another with his Hot 100-topping hits. In 2022, he pushed boundaries again with his fourth full-length offering,  Twelve Carat Toothache , which marked his fourth consecutive Top 5 bow on the Top 200. It also paved the way for his biggest headliner to date,  The Twelve Carat Toothache  Tour, taking over arenas for multiple dates in major cities throughout the year. He even scored  “the highest-certified single in RIAA history”  with the 17x-platinum “Sunflower ( Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse )” [feat. Swae Lee], netting the biggest single of his generation. In 2023, he garnered a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of  “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”  for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” [with Doja Cat], marking his tenth career nomination in six years.

Three years prior, his 2019 third full-length,  Hollywood’s Bleeding  [Republic Records], represented an audience and critical high watermark. Not only did it arrive at platinum status and eventually go triple-platinum, but it also reigned at #1 on the  Billboard  Top 200 for four weeks and returned to the chart for a fifth week, making for the longest run atop the chart of 2019 and the first release to do so in over a year. The quadruple-platinum lead single “Circles” seized #1 on the  Billboard  Hot 100 for three weeks. It notably occupied a spot on the chart for a record 39 weeks in total. Speaking of making history, he performed a massively popular Nirvana tribute concert on YouTube, raising over $10,000,000 for the World Health Organization in the fight against COVID-19.  Hollywood’s Bleeding  followed the immense success of the triple-Platinum  beerbongs & Bentleys , which also landed at #1 a year prior. In the wake of  beerbongs & bentleys , Post crushed a record in place for 54 years. He charted nine songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100, notching  “the most songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100 ever . ”  Moreover, he also trounced the record for most simultaneous Top 40 Hot 100 hits with 14.

As of 2023, his catalog comprises the GRAMMY®  Award-nominated “rockstar” [feat. 21 Savage” (Diamond), “Sunflower ( Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse )” [feat. Swae Lee] (Diamond), “I Fall Apart” (5x-platinum), “Psycho” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign] (5x-platinum), “White Iverson” (5x-platinum), “Better Now” (4x-platinum), and more. Not to mention, he sold out numerous arena tours and hosted and curated his own mega-popular  Posty Fest  in 2018 and 2019. It all started with his quintuple-platinum influential 2016 debut,  Stoney . With records under his belt that will likely never be surpassed and a generation of artists and audiences worldwide under his spell, Post Malone simply doesn’t stop.

And then on Friday, I have another song called ‘Mourning’ with a ‘u.’ But I’m super excited to get that out for you guys. We just shot a music video in Scotland, it’s absolutely stunning up there. There’s a big ass ice cube in it which I thought was pretty badass.”

Earlier this year, Post Malone surpassed the previous mark for “most RIAA diamond-certified singles from any artist.” Post now has eight RIAA diamond-certified records, shattering Bruno Mars’ previous record of six (Circles, Better Now, I Fall Apart), which he previously held. With “Sunflower” (with Swae Lee), Post is also tied for “the highest platinum-certified single of all time,” resting at 17x platinum.

Post has launched The Diamond Collection , a compilation that will be released this Friday, April 21, 2023, to commemorate this accomplishment. It includes all of his diamond-certified singles and his most recent record, “Chemical,” the lead single from his upcoming fifth studio album, one of the most anticipated albums of 2023.

You can see the full tracklisting for The Diamond Collection below.

Post Malone Announces F-1 Trillion Tour Dates: 'So Excited to Get Out and Play New Music for You'

I n support of his forthcoming debut country album, the "Pour Me a Drink" singer has announced dates for his F-1 Trillion Tour, set to kick off in September

  • Post Malone has announced dates for his forthcoming F-1 Trillion tour, which begins this September
  • The 21-show outing is in support of the rapper/singer's debut country album, F-1 Trillion , out Aug. 16
  • So far, he's released album singles "I Had Some Help" and "Pour Me a Drink," featuring Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton, respectively

Post Malone is pulling out all the stops for his country pivot.

On Tuesday, June 25, the rapper/singer, 28, revealed dates for his upcoming F-1 Trillion Tour, a 21-show outing hitting stadiums, festivals and theaters in support of his freshly announced debut country album of the same name.

“I love y’all so very much, and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you,” Malone told fans in his tour announcement.

He kicks off the new tour in Salt Lake City on Sept. 8 before making stops in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama and more. The “Circles” singer concludes his road run with a final show in Nashville on Oct. 19.

Pre-sale tickets go live on Wednesday, June 26, at 10 a.m. local time, while general sale tickets will be available on Monday, July 1, on livenation.com .

Just last week, Malone released his latest track, “ Pour Me a Drink ,” featuring country legend Blake Shelton , as the mark of his new countrified era. The single — which the collaborators first performed at CMA Fest on June 6 — arrived just a few days after the “Rockstar” artist unveiled the name of his sixth studio album with a giant purple billboard in Nashville.

“Sup motherf---as…F-1 Trillion August 16th,” Malone announced on Instagram , also confirming the LP’s release date. He followed up the next day by revealing the album’s artwork, which pictures an old F-150 pickup truck sinking vertically into a lake.

Malone officially began his country music foray in November when he teamed up with Morgan Wallen and HARDY for a performance at the 2023 CMA Awards . He continued with a feature on Beyoncé ’s Cowboy Carter album in March for their “Levii’s Jeans” collaboration before he surprise performed a slew of country covers at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium the following month.

He then made his ACM Awards debut in May by performing his first F-1 Trillion earworm single and chart-topping hit, " I Had Some Help ," featuring Wallen, and a surprise a cappella version of The Allman Brothers Band's "Ramblin' Man" with host and country icon Reba McEntire .

Malone first toyed with the idea of recording a country album in 2022 during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show , where the 10-time Grammy-nominated star affirmed that he didn’t want to be confined to any one genre.

"To be honest, there's nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube," he shared. "I'm allowed to do that. I'm a human being."

"I split my time between a lot of different things because I am happily obligated to do concerts and show love to my fans, and then I'm happily obligated to write music and make beats by myself, and I'm happily obligated to, you know, take care of my family,” he added. “So, it's a lot of time, and it's about finding that space to allot that time. If I get another year to myself, maybe I'll make a f---ing country album."

Post Malone to go on tour with highly anticipated country album ‘F-1 Trillion’

The popular rapper has been making waves in the music industry by breaking into the country genre.

post malone canberra tour 2023

By Chase Martin

After months of speculation, Post Malone has confirmed his foray into country music with the announcement of a new album and an upcoming tour.

Malone, traditionally known for pop and hip-hop hits, has shown an affinity for country music recently by performing at events like the Stagecoach Festival and collaborating with artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley and Morgan Wallen, as previously reported by the Deseret News .

A clip of Malone singing a cover of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” went viral. The 40-second video posted to X shows him practicing to hit the song’s low notes.

“He’s one of those guys that when he sings, he’s alive. And you can tell that he just loves to do it,” Brooks remarked in an episode of “Inside Studio G” when he saw the clip of Malone singing his song.

Additionally, Malone collaborated with Beyoncé on her country track “Cowboy Carter.”

All of these events led fans to excitedly anticipate Malone’s own country music album.

What is Post Malone’s country album called?

Malone has long expressed a love for country music and his desire to break into the genre.

According to People , in a 2022 interview on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” Malone expressed, “To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album.”

In late 2023, per Taste of Country , Malone teased his country project during a Twitch stream while playing the video game Apex Legends, stating, “Country record is coming.”

The first concrete sign of the album came when he released a single featuring Morgan Wallen titled “I Had Some Help.” The track soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, holding the No. 1 spot for five consecutive weeks, according to Holler .

Malone officially announced his country album, “F-1 Trillion,” with a billboard in Nashville that said, “The name of the new Post Malone album is F-1,000,000,000,000.” He posted a picture of the billboard to X on June 18.

He followed this reveal with another single, “Pour Me a Drink,” featuring Blake Shelton, which debuted live at the CMA Fest 2024.

The full “F-1 Trillion” album is set to release on Aug. 16.

When is Post Malone’s ‘F-1 Trillion Tour’?

To support his album, Malone will embark on the “F-1 Trillion Tour,” beginning with two shows at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City on Sept. 8 and 9.

The tour will cover 21 cities across the United States, concluding in Nashville, Tennessee, on Oct. 19.

“I love y’all so very much, and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you,” Malone said in a press release.

Presale tickets for Citi card members will be available starting June 26 at 10 a.m. local time, running through June 30. General ticket sales will begin on July 1 via Live Nation .

NEW YORK (AP) — Since the beginning of time or, at least, pop music, only a few have earned the designation of “song of the summer.”

These are the earworms that lodge deep into the brain, pushing past genre preferences and reminding listeners: A hit is a hit. With so much variety, though, it’s getting harder to crown a single song of the summer. So The Associated Press is offering 2024 predictions across categories — with past winners for reference.

Find your song of the summer and then listen to our Spotify playlist, here .

Song of the summer for the caffeinated: “Espresso,” Sabrina Carpenter

We’re a few decades removed from the Y2K era of off-kilter pop songs with nonsensical lyrics atop sunny productions. But no one told Sabrina Carpenter , whose hit “Espresso” is a shot of wake-up juice, equal parts clever and totally unserious. “Espresso” makes a one-woman argument for disco-informed radio pop’s endurance.

Past champion: “Wide Awake,” Katy Perry (2012)

Image

Country crossover song of the summer: “I Had Some Help,” Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen

Before it even released, it seemed likely a Post Malone team-up with Morgan Wallen would result in a No. 1 record. “I Had Some Help” introduced Post Malone’s foray into country and, with some help indeed from the biggest name in contemporary country music, was an instant success. There’s no denying that honkytonk hook, Malone’s autotuned vibrato or the singalong chorus.

Past champion: “You’re Still the One,” Shania Twain (1998)

Image

Diss song of the summer: “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar

Drake and Kendrick Lamar reignited a once-dormant feud earlier this year, launching diss track after diss track. None hit quite like Lamar’s ferocious “Not Like Us,” which became Lamar’s fourth No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The messaging — all West Coast fire in an “us vs. them” anthem — really works.

Past champion: “Obsessed,” Mariah Carey (2009)

Viral hit of the summer: “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Shaboozey

In an ideal world, every country station would play Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” once an hour, on the hour. Until then, its social media virality will have to do the trick. With its inspired interpolation of J-Kwon’s “Tipsy,” the song has all the makings of a modern classic, with an easy-to-rally-around narrative following a hardworking protagonist easing his troubles on a bar stool.

Past champion: “Trap Queen,” Fetty Wap (2015)

Image

US singer Billie Eilish is sitting on a ledge of a staircase railing known as the “Billie Eilish wall”, in Berlin Friday, June 7, 2024. (Britta Pedersen/dpa via AP)

Song of the summer for the yearners: “Lunch,” Billie Eilish

“Lunch,” from Billie Eilish’s new album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” is a PG-13 ode to same-sex infatuation. The once-in-a-generation performer has come a long way from the macabre humor, off-kilter beats and Invisalign slurps that made her a star. Instead, “Lunch” is a delicious, sapphic anthem.

Past champion: “Nineteen,” Tegan and Sara (2007)

Club song of the summer: “Get It Sexyy,” Sexyy Red

It’s in the title. Sexyy Red, with her distinctive flow and quotable bars not exactly safe for work, has taken over. “Get It Sexyy” is a theme song for her dominance and a confident mantra for everyone planning to hit the dance floor.

Past champion: “Lose Control,” Missy Elliott feat. Ciara & Fat Man Scoop (2005)

Image

Song for singles ready to mingle this summer: “Bellakeo,” Peso Pluma feat. Anitta

Take one of the biggest names in regional Mexican music, Peso Pluma , bring in one of the biggest Brazilian pop-funk stars, Anitta , and you’ve got yourself a sweaty reggaetón banger. “Bellakeo” is a song for both the club and corner store, oozing with flirtation.

Past champion: “Where the Party At,” Jagged Edge and Nelly (2001)

Song of the summer from your favorite artist’s favorite artist: “Good Luck, Babe!” , Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan has long had a knack for candor in her theatrical, cheeky songwriting, emphasized by sometimes-yodeling vocals. But she’s only recently started receiving mainstream attention for her full-throated, big-hearted queer love anthems. “Good Luck, Babe!” is a kiss-off-and-a-half — perfect for screaming along to while driving down an empty street in Roan’s native Midwest or getting ready with the girls for the drag club.

Past champion: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours,” Stevie Wonder (1970)

Image

Song of the summer for people seriously considering buying a harmonica: “Pink Skies,” Zach Bryan

Every song of the summer list requires a real tearjerker. Within the first few seconds of Zach Bryan’s “Pink Skies,” the acoustic guitar, harmonica, and raspy narrative will have you breaking out the tissues. “The kids are in town for a funeral,” he sings. “So pack the car and dry your eyes.” He’s an expert at writing a novel in few words, a song so good it charts without traditional support.

Past champion: “Run-Around,” Blues Traveler (1995)

Song of the summer that shares a title with a film: “Million Dollar Baby,” Tommy Richman

“Million Dollar Baby” feels like it came out of nowhere — as so many TikTok smashes do — but its continued endurance since April is notable. Plus, it shares a title with a very famous film, and that’s always fun.

Past champion: “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” Deep Blue Something (1995)

Song of the summer that inexplicably came out in January: “Beautiful Things,” Benson Boone

If Zach Bryan’s “Pink Skies” is a little too raw for you, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” offers a glossy alternative. There isn’t a hint of edge in his soft pop-rock, but there is a lot of love.

Past champion: “Boy’s a Liar PT. 2,” PinkPantheress , Ice Spice (2023)

Image

Swifties’ song of the summer: “Fortnight,” Taylor Swift and Post Malone

Every summer, Taylor Swift’s fans anoint their own pick. This time around, it has to be “Fortnight” from “The Tortured Poets Department.” Enter “I love you / It’s ruining my life,” into the pantheon of Swiftisms that would make for an amazing AOL away message (R.I.P.).

Past champion: “Karma,” Taylor Swift (2023)

Song of the summer revolutionizing genre: “Texas Hold ’Em,” Beyoncé

Beyoncé released “Act ll: Cowboy Carter” with the declaration : “This ain’t a Country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.” But she certainly wove the genre in, reclaiming country music as a Black woman. The first taste came in the form of “Texas Hold ’Em” — ideal listening, whether you’re headed to the beach or rodeo.

Past champion: “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” Tina Turner (1984)

The post-ironic, TikTok-heavy, too online, micro-hit song of the summer: “The Spark,” Kabin Crew & Lisdoonvarna Crew

There’s always one song that’s part joke, full hit. Enter “The Spark,” an Irish collaboration between some remarkably talented kids from Cork and Lisdoonvarna, written for Cruinniú na nÓg, a day meant to celebrate children’s creativity. These kids have produced an empowering electro-club banger for all ages.

Past champion: “The Margarita Song,” That Chick Angel, Casa Di & Steve Terrell (2023)

Song of the summer for Swedish pop lovers: “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love),” Ariana Grande

Of all the songs on Ariana Grande’s “eternal sunshine,” “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)” is the Europop exemplar. It explodes into a string crescendo, electronic sounds effortlessly blending into organic ones, lyrically highlighting a relationship on the outs. It’s a gorgeous and devastating listen in the tradition of another queen of summertime sadness bangers, Robyn .

Past champion: “Call Your Girlfriend,” Robyn (2010)

Song of the summer for it girls: “360,” Charli XCX

Charli XCX’s latest album, “Brat,” oscillates between hedonism and anxiety. “360” is a hot girl club classic squarely in the first category — all sexy showboating and futuristic production.

Past champion: “Stars Are Blind,” Paris Hilton (2006)

By Jon Blistein

Jon Blistein

Post Malone is set to hit the road this fall in support of his first country album, F-1 Trillion .

The musician will play a mix of stadiums and amphitheaters on the 21-show trek, which kicks off Sept. 8 at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City and wraps Oct. 19 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The run also includes a previously announced headlining set at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Sept. 28.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale July 1 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. Citi cardholders will have access to presale tickets starting June 26 at 10 a.m. local time, while fans can also register for pre-sale access on Post Malone’s website .

“I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you,” Post Malone said of the trek in a statement.
