What do I need to consider when the baby is still very small and I need the mesh for elevated storage for the baby?

Hello, the snap mechanism does not snap into place when setting up???

Although the cot was working previously, today I cannot fold it down enough to properly fold and pack away. Everything looks fine, the sides collapsed ok and central handle pulled up as before.

How do I remove the cover of hauk travel cot bed to be washed?

We have owned a dream and play cot for 6 months and used it on 3 occasions for our visiting granddaughter. Despite hours of effort it is only possible to lock 3 of the sides in place. Whilst it might be suggested that there is some sort of "knack" to this, this is not credible since we can release and easily assemble the same three sides very easily. There is clearly a manufacturing fault with the locking mechanism.

Watch the movie ! Pull the centre tag up and the mechanisms to unlock the sides will then release with some manipulation.

Please check the size chart has printed out to the correct size by measuring the scale at the bottom of the chart, this must measure 10cm otherwise the indicated size may not be accurate.

Please fold the paper along the dotted line and place the chart on a hard surface against an immovable vertical surface such as a skirting board to help gain an accurate measure.

Place the left foot on the chart and record the length of the foot (e.g. 2¼) repeat for the right foot (e.g. 2½).

Based on these results a size 3 would be selected. As most people's feet are not the same size the size of shoe is determined by the largest foot.

Children will also need some growing room so if the fitting indicates either foot is longer than the full size it may be beneficial to order the next size up.

The Sleep N Play Center travel cot comes with comprehensive accessories and can be used in four different ways. Your child can comfortably sleep and play, you can easily change your baby’s nappies and transport the folded cot wherever you wish, allowing maximum flexibility right from birth. A foldable base is already included.

Thanks to the elevated new-born level, you can comfortably lay down your baby who can be easily reached during the night. On the included changing table with safety belt, you can change your baby’s nappies and lay down your little one back in the cot. Later on, you can remove the level and the changing table.

During daytime, you can effortlessly relocate the bed thanks to the two integrated wheels and use it as playpen. The side exit on the cot’s end, which can be opened by the outside only, offers your toddler entertainment. Your child can independently crawl out and back in again when wanting to relax.

By pressing the buttons located in the middle of all four sides, the assembly and folding can be done in the blink of an eye. Folded up compactly, you can easily stow away the travel cot and accessories in the included carry bag.

Quick and easy to put up, this cot wins in the DIY stakes. But it loses marks for its comfort levels, which we felt should be more for the price. Good for those short on space, it’s easy to transport, too.

The Dream n Play is a basic, easy to assemble cot that's ideal for those with less space as it's narrower than average, plus the longer length means it’s good for taller babies.  It’s light, but also very flimsy, so our testers questioned its quality and comfort which they felt should have been greater for it’s mid range price ticket.

The cot has good carry handles for transporting it. It’s a shame that the mesh sides looked like they’d rip easily, and the mattress material was very noisy, with one tester reporting that it rustled loudly every time their baby moved, keeping them awake.  We think that the Dream n Play is best to use for one-night stays, maybe at the grandparents or for very short trips away. It’s extremely easy to assemble, but very basic, and not the comfiest model on the market.

First unfold the short side parts and then the large ones until they properly engage. Only then pull the middle of the floor and then the whole floor down until it reaches a flat and stable position. Broken travel cot or am I being stupid??!!

This is doing my head in, ladies please help!! We've just got a travel cot from kiddicare (their own) its 1 where u put the sides up & click into place & then push the base down. However....1 of the sides wont lock!! Im pretty sure its something that we're doing wrong as its never been used before, so don't think its broken, anyone else had this???!!! HELP!!X  

I know you have probably already checked but the instructions should be on the mattress how to do it exactly. I didnt know that most travel cots have the instructions on the mattress until my friend told me after I had cut the sides open on mine with a knife after wrestling with it for an hour! I was convinced one of the catches were broken so I cut it open and then threw it out my garden in temper. My mate came around the next day saw it in the garden and asked if I had followed the instructions on the mattress as all cots are different and I was like ooooohh shit! Id never even used it! x

With mine all 4 sides have to be locked before the base is pushed down.

Mine is a mothercare one and i eventually realised after many tantrums that it wont go up unless i click the shorter sides into place first then the 2 longer sides all one at a time then push base down. If i triedto click a longer side into place first then there would always be a side left that didnt work x  

Mine is red kite and I have to click the longer sides up and then the shorter ones, sometimes I have to persist and really flick them up untill they click into place and then push the bottom down! I hope you work it out that must be really frustrating, have you looked on you tube? Kiddicare have tutorials for there products on there xx  

You need to Make sure the base is pulled up really high into the centre before clicking the sides into place. It should have a loop on the base pull this really high towards thr cieling and the thing should br all floppy. Hope this helps my mum couldn't get it up one night so had to come home and show her and then I couldnt! After about an Hour we finally got it.  

Yep same advice as everyone else...base needs to be pulled up high, then click all sides into place then push down mattress. Or at least that is how most travel cots work!

As pp's have said, make sure all sides are locked in before pushing the base down. I fought with mine for hours and the instructions were extremely unclear before I went online and googled putting up a travel cot!

Well thanks for all ur suggestions, but I think its faulty, no matter what I do the 1 side wont play ball, the other 3 sides go up no probs at all, what a pain in the arse!!!x

I just signed up in frustration. Needed this thing setup quickly as bubs was needing a sleep. I have a dimples portacot. Followed the stupid instructions but sides would never lock. So i broke all the sides...i feel sooo much better now. Who writes these stupid instructions and why design such a convoluted locking system. I wonder if engineer who designed it was ever sleep deprived and wanted their child to sleep so desperately.....ohhh feel so much better now.. thank you for letting me release my steam....

• Page 3 Unfasten the velcro tabs and remove the outer mattress then spread the feet apart (fig.2). Using the pull tab in the centre of the base, lift the base of the travel cot until the sides are slack (fig.9). Grasp the top bars, one at a time and lift up until they lock into place (fig.3), repeat for all 4 sides.
