What The Cast Of Warehouse 13 Is Doing Today

The Warehouse 13 cast in action

In the spring of 2009, the Sci-Fi Channel rechristened itself "Syfy." Along with this announcement, network president Dave Howe proclaimed the upcoming series "Warehouse 13" to be the flagship program of the new brand. The series, promoted as "part 'X-Files,' part 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and part 'Moonlighting,'" centers around a pair of U.S. Secret Service agents who are recruited to track down artifacts with supernatural characteristics and return them safely to the show's eponymous secret facility. The series was created by Jane Espenson (known for her work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer,"  Torchwood, and "Once Upon a Time" ) and D. Brent Mote (known only for this). "Warehouse 13" ran for five seasons on Syfy and occasionally crossed over with its sister show, "Eureka," together forming the backbone of Syfy's post- "Battlestar Galactica"  era of original programming.

While five years on a television series is nothing to sneeze at for any actor, being on "Warehouse 13" does not seem to have had a profound effect on the careers of any of the show's regular or recurring cast. Years after the show's cancellation, the stars of "Warehouse 13" who were established names beforehand have continued to prosper in the ensembles of other series, while those who were plucked from obscurity have, sadly, returned to it.

Eddie McClintock applied to become a real cop

Prior to winning the co-lead of Warehouse 13 , Eddie McClintock had been cast as a regular in four short-lived sitcoms in the late '90s and 2000s — "Holding the Baby" and "Stark Raving Mad" for NBC, "A.U.S.A." for Fox, and "Crumbs" for ABC. Of the four of them, only one — "Stark Raving Mad" — aired its entire first season. He spent most of the 2000s as a reliable guest actor, making single appearances on series like "The King of Queens," "House," and "Monk,"  and recurring as Special Agent Tim Sullivan on "Bones."

McClintock continued to make one-off appearances on other series such as "CSI" and "The Mentalist" during his five seasons playing Secret Service Agent Pete Lattimer on "Warehouse 13," and for the years to follow. McClintock once again played a wisecracking G-Man as a regular on USA's action series "Shooter," but was only a regular cast member for the first of the show's three seasons. He also appeared as Tony on Netflix's "No Good Nick."

According to a Twitter thread posted by McClintock In May 2020, he applied to join the LAPD after going a full year without any new acting bookings. Despite being clean and sober for 19 years, McClintock's application was denied due to his past as an addict. Since then, he's signed on to a few projects like "Miracle at Manchester" and "Wolf Mountain."

Joanne Kelly guest starred on Godfather of Harlem

The actor most famous for playing Secret Service Agent Myka Bering got her start doing guest roles on productions shooting in her native Canada. She recurred on "Babylon 5" creator J. Michael Straczynski's short-lived drama "Jeremiah" and on the cult comedy "Slings and Arrows." After appearing on the first season of Syfy's "The Dresden Files," Kelly landed the role of co-lead on "Warehouse 13."

After the series ended in 2014, Joanne Kelly played a supporting role in the independent film "Closet Monster," which won Best Canadian Feature at TIFF in 2015. Next, she joined the cast of CBS' absolutely bonkers sci-fi series "Zoo" in a recurring role for one season. Most of her career since has consisted of one-off television guest roles and direct-to-video genre flicks, but Kelly scored a more prestigious role in 2019, portraying real-life author and socialite Amy Vanderbilt in three episodes of "Godfather of Harlem"  opposite Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker.

Following her appearance on "Godfather of Harlem," she signed on for Season 3 of Showtime's "City on a Hill."

Saul Rubinek is hunting Nazis

The most recognizable member of the original regular cast of "Warehouse 13" is without a doubt character actor Saul Rubinek, whose film and television career dates back to the 1970s. While rarely in a lead role, Rubinek is one of those actors who's bound to provoke an "I know that guy!" whenever he pops up onscreen . Rubinek recurred on the original 1980s incarnation of "The Equalizer," "The Practice," "Leverage," and most notably a long guest run on "Frasier," and appeared in the acclaimed films "Wall Street," "Unforgiven," and "True Romance."

After playing Special Agent in Charge Artie Nielson on all five seasons, Rubinek has also had the strongest post-"Warehouse 13" career of all of his regular co-stars. In 2018, he appeared in the Coen brothers' acclaimed Netflix experiment "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," and in 2020 Rubinek joined the regular cast of the Amazon original series "Hunters," the role Rubinek says he was "born to play."

On "Hunters," Rubinek portrays Murray Markowitz, an electronics expert recruited into a team of Nazi-hunting vigilantes, performing alongside Oscar winner Al Pacino , comedy legend Carol Kane, and Rubinek's own daughter, Hannah Reid Rubinek. This is a deeply personal role for Rubinek, who was born in a refugee camp in Germany after his parents successfully hid from the Nazis in occupied Poland during World War II .

Genelle Williams is still on Canadian television

Genelle Williams began her career as a teenager in Canada, boasting a regular role on sitcom "The Latest Buzz," recurring on high school dramedy "Radio Free Roscoe," and appearing as two separate students on "Degrassi: The Next Generation." Williams portrayed civilian consultant/bed and breakfast proprietor Leena for the first four seasons of "Warehouse 13," after which she has continued to appear on Canadian television series such as the medical drama "Remedy" and the werewolf fantasy series "Bitten." Williams returned to science fiction in 2018, portraying socialite Tilly Fagan on four episodes of "The Expanse."

One of Williams' latest projects was the legal drama "Family Law,"  in which she co-starred with fellow genre TV darlings Jewel Staite ("Firefly") and Victor Garber (The CW's Arrowverse). Season 1 of "Family Law" wrapped production in October 2020 and premiered on Canadian television in 2021. In March 2022, it was announced that The CW would air the show, as reported by TVLine .

Allison Scagliotti is directing and creating music

Before joining the cast of "Warehouse 13" as hacker extraordinaire Claudia Donovan, Allison Scagliotti performed regularly on kid- and teen-oriented series like "Drake & Josh,"  "Zoey 101,"  and "One Tree Hill". After "Warehouse 13" ended in 2014, Scagliotti immediately took on a regular role as another computer expert, Camille Engelson on the sci-fi series "Stitchers," which ran for three seasons.

Since 2018, Scagliotti appears to be taking time off from acting in favor of launching a career as a director, helming episodes of the Nickelodeon sitcom "Henry Danger" and the Disney Channel studio improv series "Just Roll With It." Scagliotti is also a musician, having performed in the band Nice Enough People with her "Drake & Josh" co-star Jerry Trainer in the mid-2010s. In 2020, she released the debut LP for her solo musical endeavor, La Femme Pendu, which she describes as "French lounge horror ballads."

Aaron Ashmore is under Locke & Key

Not to be confused with his identical twin brother Shawn, also a television star, Aaron Ashmore joined the cast of "Warehouse 13" during Season 3 as the human lie detector Steve Jinks. At the time, Ashmore was already well known to fans of genre television for playing Jimmy Olsen on "Smallville" (and later, his younger brother  Jimmy Olsen . You read that right). Ashmore proved himself hard to get rid of once again on "Warehouse 13" when his character was killed off and then resurrected a few episodes later.

After "Warehouse 13," Ashmore starred in a leading role on another SyFy series, "Killjoys," which ran for five seasons. After "Killjoys" wrapped, Ashmore was cast in a recurring role as Duncan Locke on the Netflix horror series "Locke & Key" before being promoted to series regular for the show's second season. The series has been  renewed for a third season . He also signed on to appear in Season 2 of "Ginny & Georgia" (via Deadline ).

CCH Pounder is solving crimes on the bayou

CCH Pounder portrayed Warehouse 13 Caretaker Mrs. Frederic in a total of 29 episodes across all five seasons of the series. Pounder is a recognizable face and a very recognizable voice with five decades of film, television, and animation performances to her name. By the time of the debut of "Warehouse 13," Pounder had already been a regular on "ER" and "The Shield,"  receiving an Emmy nomination for each . She also appeared in feature films such as "Prizzi's Honor," "End of Days," and "Avatar." She may also be familiar as the voice of Amanda Waller on the animated series "Justice League Unlimited" and in the "Batman: Arkham" video games and spinoffs.

CCH Pounder portrayed medical examiner Loretta Wade on "NCIS: New Orleans" for several seasons. But that's not all — Pounder is slated to reprise her voice and performance capture role as Mo'at, the Na'vi spiritual leader, in the "Avatar" sequels. She also signed on to play Mrs. Higgler on Amazon's "Anansi Boys," as noted by Variety .

Pounder is also an avid art collector and exhibitor , supporting and showcasing artists from throughout Africa and the African diaspora.

Simon Reynolds is writing screenplays in India

While credited for the entire first season, Toronto actor Simon Reynolds only actually appeared as Secret Service Deputy Director Daniel Dickenson in four episodes of "Warehouse 13," with the character being killed off in his final episode. Reynolds had been a regularly working actor on Canadian television for decades prior, with his most prominent role being Stuart Harrison on the musical dramedy "Instant Star" from 2004 to 2008.

Unlike the rest of the cast, Reynolds does not maintain a public web presence, so we reached out to him directly to discuss his departure from "Warehouse 13" and his more recent work. According to Reynolds, the character of Daniel Dickenson was originally expected to play a larger role on the series, but his being based in Washington, D.C. rather than South Dakota with the other main characters made it difficult to work him into episodes, so he was killed off with no hard feelings.

Since "Warehouse 13," Reynolds has pulled back from acting to focus on writing and developing his own projects, such as the independent drama "Only."  In 2019, Reynolds was announced as a member of the cast of a Canadian independent film, "Red Door and Lemon Tree," and also signed on to co-direct. The film was preparing to begin production in Crete, Greece in 2020, but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic .

Reynolds currently resides in Tamil Nadu, India, where he is writing and pitching feature screenplays aimed at Netflix.

Jaime Murray is evil on TV, but doing good in real life

Jaime Murray joined the recurring cast of "Warehouse 13" in the second season in the role of Helena G. Wells. Prior to this, Murray had already made a name for herself on British television on the long-running series "Hustle," and then on American cable TV as main antagonist Lila West on the second season of "Dexter."

Since "Warehouse 13," Murray has continued to work in genre television, first as a regular on the Syfy series "Defiance" (which overlapped with her role on "Warehouse 13"). She seems to have carved out a niche for herself playing wicked or morally questionable immortals, recurring on "Once Upon a Time" as the Black Fairy, "The Originals" as the "old-school" vampire Antoinette, and "Gotham" as Nyssa al Ghul, daughter of the ageless Demon's Head. She was a member of the voice cast of the Netflix animated series "Castlevania," in which she played the vampire villainess Carmilla.

Contrary to her onscreen reputation for evil, Murray's real-life Instagram describes her as an "activist & lover of Planet Earth." During the COVID-19 pandemic, Murray has thrown her support behind the Empowerment Collective's COVID-19 Emergency Survival Fund for Nepal , whose goal is to distribute food and face masks to those facing hardship there.

Faran Tehir is still a star, on Earth and in space

Appearing in 11 episodes across three seasons of "Warehouse 13," Faran Tehir portrayed Adwin Kosan, head of the Regents, the mysterious governing body that presides over the titular installation. Before first appearing on "Warehouse 13" in 2011, Tehir had recently played memorable roles in two smash hit motion pictures, portraying Ten Rings leader Raza in "Iron Man" and Captain Robou of the doomed USS Kelvin in "Star Trek." Tehir has been a consistently working television guest actor both before and since.

Tehir returned to Syfy to portray Mallick on the 2017 season of "12 Monkeys." In 2020, Tehir played the leading role in the independent film "I'll Meet You There,"  and also lent his talents to the kickstarted sci-fi series "Space Command,"  which, impressively, also boasts the talents of Doug Jones ("The Shape of Water," "Star Trek: Discovery"), Bruce Boxleitner ("Tron," "Babylon 5"), and a host of other well-known actors from popular science fiction franchises.

Brent Spiner returned to his sci-fi roots

For many of its major recurring roles, "Warehouse 13" employed a stunt-casting strategy, bringing in actors from well-known sci-fi properties who were likely instantly recognizable to viewers of the cheeky genre series. One example: Brent Spiner , best known for his roles as wild scientist Dr. Brakish Okun in "Independence Day" and curious android Data in "Star Trek: The Next Generation," as well as its various spinoff films. Spiner joined "Warehouse 13" in its fourth season for a six-episode arc as Brother Adrian, a Vatican agent and member of the Brotherhood of the Black Diamond, a secret society sworn to protect an astrolabe belonging to Ferdinand Magellan. He later stages an elaborate plot involving Lewis Carroll's enchanted mirror.

After his memorable stint on "Warehouse 13," Spiner continued to ply his trade in science fiction and supernatural genre projects. He landed a lead role in "Outcast," an adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comic of the same name. Despite positive reviews (Season 1 is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 80%), the costly series got axed after two seasons . Spiner reprised the role of Dr. Okun in the blockbuster sequel "Independence Day: Resurgence," and, more recently, he's been seen on "Star Trek: Picard."

Spiner also does a lot of voice work, and he's played some iconic characters in his time. He's portrayed The Joker and The Riddler in a couple of Batman animated properties, he brought Gall Travis to life in "Star Wars: Rebels," and he even voiced the Silver Surfer in an episode of Marvel's "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.”

Things got Grimm for Sasha Roiz

Occasionally, the agents of Warehouse 13 have to deal with traditional authority figures, and in Season 3, they met one in the form of ex-Baltimore police officer Marcus Diamond, an associate of A to Z Technologies head Walter Sykes. Marcus personally sets several chaotic, potentially devastating anti-Warehouse plans into motion, like assisting in the release of a computer virus, arranging for a Van Gogh painting to infest the Warehouse with tiny robots, and causing mischief as a hologram after his death. He was played by actor Sasha Roiz , who is known for genre shows but has been in his fair share of Hollywood blockbusters.

Concurrent to and long after his time on "Warehouse 13," Roiz portrayed police captain (and magical "zauberbiest") Sean Renard on the fantasy cop drama "Grimm," another show about humans interacting with the supernatural. He appeared in over a hundred episodes of the critically acclaimed NBC series. Stints on USA's "Suits" and Peacock's "Departure" would follow, and he found himself in the White House twice: Roiz played President Monroe Bennett on the asteroid thriller show "Salvation" and President Andrew Wright on the twisty 2022 drama "The Endgame."

In terms of feature films, Roiz is probably best known for the small roles he played in "The Day After Tomorrow" (Parker), "Land of the Dead" (Manolete), and the Kit Harington -led "Pompeii" (Proculus). "Warehouse 13" viewers may also recognize his voice as Hal Jordan in "Superman: Red Son," or as middle school math teacher Mr. Kieslowski in Pixar's "Turning Red."

Paula Garcés mainly works on serialized TV dramas

"Warehouse 13" mainly takes place in Univille, South Dakota, a company town built up around the titular warehouse in the early 20th century but home to many normal services operated by normal people who don't deal in supernatural artifacts. Dr. Kelly Hernandez, a veterinarian, is one of the town's regular residents. She briefly dated Pete Lattimer, having met him when she performed his emergency appendectomy due to a lack of human-oriented doctors. The relationship ultimately didn't work out because, as Kelly rightfully pointed out, Pete is obviously in love with his partner, Myka Bering.

Not counting her late cameo, Dr. Hernandez actor Paula Garcés left "Warehouse 13" in 2010. She reprised her role as love interest Maria from "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" in "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas." Garcés then did a few dozen episodes of "All My Children" and "Devious Maids" before landing a role in the indie dramedy "Adult Beginners." She also appeared on "Major Crimes" in a role that was central to the TNT police drama's overarching Season 5 saga — she portrayed Alexa Diaz, the mother of a missing child from an undocumented family living in Los Angeles.

More recently, Garcés spent three seasons among the cast of the Netflix coming-of-age drama "On My Block." She also popped up in a Season 7 episode of "Chicago Med," coming through a car crash relatively unscathed only to be told that she likely has a condition associated with COVID-19.

Kelly Hu became a deadly assassin

When Leena died, Leena's Bed and Breakfast (the boarding house where Warehouse field agents reside) was taken over by Abigail Chow, a former photographer and psychotherapist. The latter background informs her job as an unofficial therapist and grief counselor to the Warehouse crew, and she's so trusted and valued that she's named the latest Keeper, or historian, for the operation. Abigail was played to perfection by Kelly Hu , a veteran of the industry with as many as 140 credits on her resume.

Before "Warehouse 13," Hu was probably best known for playing Eva Watanabe in "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan," Yuriko Oyama (aka Lady Deathstrike) in "X-Men 2," and The Sorceress in "The Scorpion King," the Dwayne Johnson-led spinoff of Brendan Fraser's "The Mummy" movies . When her time on "Warehouse 13" came to an end, Hu landed a string of TV roles, making some brief but notable appearances on "Being Mary Jane," "The Orville," and "L.A.' Finest." She also bagged a recurring role on The CW's "Arrow," playing the deadly Triad assassin Chien Na Wei, better known as China White.

Hu has also turned into a prolific voice actor in the years since "Warehouse 13," performing in dozens of animated shows and video games. She played Anna Ripley in Amazon's critically acclaimed  show "The Legend of Vox Machina," Karai in several "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" properties, and various characters in "Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters." She was also Adira in "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures," and D'Vorah in multiple "Mortal Kombat" titles.

Kate Mulgrew went to pretend prison and Trekked once more

While she only appeared in six episodes of "Warehouse 13," the character of Jane Lattimer figures prominently in the foundations of the Warehouse. A former elementary school teacher, Jane is a powerful, responsible Regent of the Warehouse and later a Guardian, as well as the mother of main character and lead agent Pete Lattimer. She struggles to balance her duties as a Regent with her parental characteristics, and for many years, only her late husband knew about her secret, fantastical job.

Long before she showed up on "Warehouse 13" as Jane Lattimer, Kate Mulgrew was a science fiction juggernaut, having portrayed Captain Kathryn Janeway on six seasons of "Star Trek: Voyager." She also played Janeway in some film and video game spinoffs. She returned to the role once more in 2021, voicing the beloved character in Peacock's animated series "Star Trek: Prodigy."

Mulgrew has been busy in recent years, playing recurring roles on three shows in 2022. On top of "Star Trek: Prodigy," she co-starred in Showtime's "The Man Who Fell to Earth" remake and on FX's "Mr. Mercedes." A stalwart of prestige drama in the Peak TV era, she's perhaps best known for her Emmy-nominated performance as prison cook Red on the hit Netflix show "Orange Is the New Black."

Lindsay Wagner is a TV legend

The presence of Dr. Vanessa Calder loomed large over "Warehouse 13," despite the fact that she only actually showed up in six episodes over the show's four seasons. A legitimate doctor, Calder worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before the Warehouse 13 crew sought out her services for their medical needs. She faced tasks both mundane and strange, such as Artie's annual appendicitis which he purposely gave himself with an artifact to get attention from the woman with whom he'd maintain an occasional romance.

When selecting an actor to play Dr. Calder, producers turned to 1970s sci-fi icon Lindsay Wagner , best known for her stint as Jaime Sommers on "The Bionic Woman." She also played the role in "The Six Million Dollar Man" and in multiple spinoffs, follow-ups, and TV movies. Now in her seventies, Wagner doesn't take on too many acting gigs these days. Since her last appearance on "Warehouse 13" in 2014, she has graced episodes of "NCIS," "Fuller House," and "Grey's Anatomy" with her presence, and she's appeared in several made-for-the-small-screen holiday movies such as "Christmas at the Ranch," "Christmas on the Range," and "Mingle All the Way."

Jeffrey R. Smith is a frequent guest star on Canadian television

Mr. Keeler appears occasionally in the final three seasons of "Warehouse 13." A tireless advocate of the artifact-protecting system, he's both a Warehouse Regent and the manager of the store in South Dakota which serves as a front for the Regent Vault, where the Janus Coin is secured. Mr. Keeler helps defeat Walter Sykes, he has a hand in keeping the Warehouse hidden from the general public, and he ultimately dies in the line of duty, protecting an important relic. He's one of the show's big unsung heroes, but what happened to the guy who played him?

Canadian stage and screen actor Jeffrey R. Smith is one of his country's most prolific actors, appearing for an episode or two in many notable northern exports, including "Being Erica," "Murdoch Mysteries," and "The Good Witch." Perhaps most notably, he appeared as Dr. Casey Winter on six episodes of the mystery drama "Coroner." Smith played another doctor (monstrously deformed by a virus) on "The Strain," and he also appeared on "Suits" and Bravo's "Imposters."

On the big screen, he's played minor roles in films like "The Boondock Saints" and "Casino Jack." In 2019, he played Nurse Ronan in the festival favorite "The Cuban," a film about a pre-med student who forms a bond with an elderly Cuban musician. He's got one of those faces that you no doubt recognize, and now you know why.

Mark Sheppard made more classic TV sci-fi

The character Benedict Valda often popped up throughout the run of "Warehouse 13," sometimes in such a small part that the actor playing him was uncredited. That's not to say his role wasn't an important one. A Warehouse Regent and something of a wild card, Valda was devoted to the cause. Not only did he run a Regent Inquisition and openly tease Warehouse staff, he was the resident expert and guide on the Warehouse 2 of ancient Egypt. He ultimately sacrificed his own life so that the other agents may live and the relics remain safeguarded.

The valiant Valda was played by Mark Sheppard , another small screen sci-fi icon who put in some time on "Warehouse 13." He's probably best known for his role as lawyer Romo Lampkin on the "Battlestar Galactica" reboot, as crime boss Badger on the cult series "Firefly," and — parallel to and following his "Warehouse 13" arc — as Crowley on "Supernatural." He played the charismatic demon in 70 episodes of the Eric Kripke fantasy drama.

More recently, Sheppard has moved into superhero fare, appearing in a critically acclaimed DC show. He has a recurring role on "Doom Patrol," which was renewed for a fourth season on HBO Max in 2021. Sheppard plays Willoughby Kipling, an occult detective and member of the Knights Templar.

Tyler Hynes became a Hallmark star

"Warehouse 13" main character Claire Donovan has a brother, viewers learn in Season 1, and his name is Joshua. Once a student of Professor Reynolds, he deciphered Rheticus' Compass in order to experiment with teleportation, an endeavor that left him presumably dead but actually in a state of purgatory. Claudia (his other sister) and Artie were able to bring him back to the real world by recreating the conditions of his experiment. He went on to land a job at the particle physics laboratory at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, but that also ended badly — he was thrown over a railing by ex-Warehouse agent James MacPherson. He lived to tell the tale, but he would need Claudia's help again after falling foul of Pliny the Elder's Scroll.

The hapless Joshua was played by the Toronto-born actor Tyler Hynes . Following the last of his six-episode run on "Warehouse 13" in 2012, Hynes scored dozens of TV roles, most being major productions for Canadian television. He popped up for stints on the medical drama "Saving Hope," the police drama "19-2," and the hit comedy "Letterkenny," landing the recurring role of charming American ne'er-do-well Dierks. Hynes is probably most visible as a member of Hallmark's holiday movie acting troupe, co-starring in six TV Christmas movies, including "An Unexpected Christmas," "On the 12th Date of Christmas," "Winter in Vail," and "It's Christmas, Eve."

According to executive producer Jack Kenny, via an interview with TV Guide , the show will pick up in the aftermath of the third-season finale, which saw several major characters perish and the warehouse destroyed.

"Artie (Rubinek) and the gang are on a mission to pull their lives back together and Brother Adrian is a major obstacle to that," Kenny said. One of the objects that Brother Adrian seeks to protect is needed by Artie to “make everything right again.” However, Kenny added, "The use of this object will unleash an incredible evil and Brother Adrian is not about to see that happen. He heads a sect that is powerful and obsessively devoted and follows no rules. The Brotherhood will do anything to achieve its goals. They are gifted fighters who are willing to go to their deaths, if necessary."

Brent Spiner joining Warehouse 13 for recurring role in S4

Season 4 of the Syfy series Warehouse 13 kicks off on July 23rd and on board will Brent Spiner. Accordingto TV Guide , the veteran Star Trek: TNG actor will be playing Brother Adrian, leader of a top-secret sect known as the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Black Diamond. Spiner will appear in at least six episodes for the upcoming season.

"Artie Nielsen [Saul Rubinek] and the gang are on a mission to pull their lives back together and Brother Adrian is a major obstacle to that," says executive producer Jack Kenny. "The Brotherhood is descended from the Knights Templar and connected to the Vatican. It is charged with the protection of many powerful artifacts, one of which Artie desperately needs to make everything right again."

Spiner joins a growing list of Star Trek stars who have had guest and recurring roles on Warehouse 13 , including Kate Mulgrew, Rene Auberjonois, and Jeri Ryan.

Here is a preview (no Spiner) for Warehouse 13’s Season 4.

This will not be the first time that Rubinek and Spiner have faced off. Much of the TNG episode "The Most Toys" features the two actors in conflict after a collector (played by Rubinek) kidnaps Data (Spiner). It was actually Spiner who had suggested Rubinek for the part in a last-minute change after the original actor cast for the episode was not able to appear. "It’s been a blast watching these two great actors go at each other again," Kenny tells TV Guide. "Our fans are in for one wild ride!"

Come on, I can’t possibly be first!

I guess I need to start watching this show again. It’s been awhile.

Saul Rubinek was great in “The Most Toys”. A complete pyschopath who very nearly drives Data–an emotionless android– to the edge.

“The Most Toys” was one of my favorite Data eppisodes.

This! So much of this!

http://wtop.com/46/2903095/UFO-on-the-Beltway-Not-quite

I loved “The Most Toys”. The ending was perfect.

And again, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LOS ANGELES KING FOR BEING THE WINNERS OF THE STANLEY CUP ONCE AGAIN!!!

Did anyone happen to see Chris Pine in attendance of game 6? WOW! That was an instant classic

Thank god the poor guy has some work. Fresh Hell was getting kind of embarrassing.

Are we sure Brent isn’t playing an artifact??

This is a good show. Much better than Sanctuary. I used to watch W13, but I got lost with all the schedule changes. Might check it out again.

#8 wow that was so good i am happy for you i just feel that comment might be best for a sports site than a sci-fi site

good news with Brent i love warehouse 13 lets just hope Kate and Brent will be playing off each other at some point i know they tend to keep the cost down by having one of guest away somewhere

#8 No kidding! Way to Go! Maybe they can be the first team in over a decde to repeat as champs! I didn’t know CP was at the game that is awesome.

#11 I believe this post is completely relevant for this site. I beg to differ with anyone that thinks that it isn’t. There is direct evidence to prove that hockey is extremely relevent to Star Trek!

Oh, and Go Kings, you all rock!

Oh I cannot describe how awesome this will be! Looking forward to it!

I wonder if this person will show up?

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111012023440/assassinscreed/images/8/8e/Ezio.jpg

Actually, this is the King’s first Stanley Cup championship.

Was Chris Pine there? I know William Shatner was at the game 7 in Vancouver to watch the Canucks-Bruins game a year ago.

“Voyager”‘s Tom Paris and Harry Kim liked to play hockey on the holodeck. There was an epsiode where both of them were dressed up in hockey gear.

Really enjoyed “The Most Toys.” I’ve heard some thought Saul Rubinek was miscast as the antagonist but I thought his demeanor was appropriately disarming. Hard to believe his impish delight could so easily turn pyschopathic.

But I was disappointed by the “cheat” ending. Did he or didn’t he? Seems like the producers took the safe route on what should have been a stunning character development. (I suppose that there was any question at all about Data’s actions was pretty bold in and of itself.)

I know what you mean. That was the only time that Data lied for no other reason than to cover for himself. Riker and Geordi both knew that the weapon had been discharged. The look they gave each other when Data lied right to them (rather transparently) said it all. I was sorry that this was never pursued further.

#15. Red Dead Ryan …

as far as I know CP was in Dallas, Monday 11th… promoting “PLU”… I don’t think he was in that game…

an article about it…

here: http://popcultureblog.dallasnews.com/2012/06/usa-film-festival-sees-people-like-us-before-people-like-us.html/

The Most Toys is easily in my top 10 TNG episodes.

I enjoy Warehouse 13 when they’re kinda silly. It’s just heard for me to swallow when the cast suddenly switches gears to deadly serious. It just doesn’t work for me. But I’ll watch it when it returns since there’s not much new sci-fi out there.

Yeah, thanks Dee! I didn’t think he was a hockey fan. #8 made the suggestion he was an L.A. on Monday.

How did you make the letters blue?

Considering that Saul literally ‘stepped into’ the role in “The Most Toys” when well known British actor and little person David Rappaport committed suicide a day into filming…. Saul did a marvelous job with Brent. Anyone knocking him for his portrayal of Kivas Fajo needs a serious TNG production history lesson.

Tried watching “Warehouse 13” early in it’s life but simply could NOT get into it. Ditto with “Sanctuary”, “Eureka” and a lot of other SyFy channel shows. Nothing personal, I suppose they’re just not my thing.

The only SyFy (back when it was more properly “SciFi”) did that really kept me glued was the “Battlestar Galactica” remake. That one was a TV science fiction game changer. Ruined my palette for more staid, conventional science fiction shows. Really blew the lid off of what TV space opera could be.

The 2000-2002 Dune miniseries’ were quite good, too.

That said, I still wish Brent Spiner luck. And I very much enjoy “Fresh Hell” too. Reminds me of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” I like that brand of sardonic, awkward-till-it-hurts kind of humor.

I never heard that back story before. I understood that Saul Rubinek was a last minute replacement but didn’t realize the circumstances. What shock to the cast and crew. Must have been a challenge for everyone to carry on.

Saul Rubinek is an old friend of Brent’s that’s how he got the role in Most Toys.

Chris Pine likes to play and follow basketball and boxing. I don’t know if Chris plays tennis but he was there watching the Tennis Open… in September last year in New York with his father.

“Also present was Erin Jurow, daughter of the late Dallas-based film producer Martin Jurow (Terms of Endearment, Breakfast at Tiffany’s). Pine’s grandmother was scream queen actress Anne Gwynne, Erin Jurow’s maternal grandfather was Anne Gwynne’s brother, which makes the two L.A.-raised friends second cousins.”

Does anybody see anything odd about this family tree?

Anne Gwynne was born Marguerite Anne Grice. Anne Gwynne was a stage name and she had two children, Gregory and Gwynne Gilford to Max Gilford. Gwynne Gilford is Chris Pine’s mother.

For those who have not seen – this is Anne Gwynne. It’s not hard to see where some of my lovely *conifer* looks come from…:)

I meant “those lovely looks of my favourite *conifer*…:)

Kate mulgrew discusses her very different role in warehouse 13.

star trek actors in warehouse 13

Later tonight fans of Kate Mulgrew will be treated to some of her first science fiction related work since leaving the bridge of Star Trek: Voyager . Kate who won the hearts and minds of a whole generation of Star Trek fans as the first regular female captain will beam into the often fun and sinister world of Warehouse 13.

During a phone conference last week SciFiPulse along with a few other well-known genre websites got chance to talk to Kate about her role in Warehouse 13 and it is obvious that she is very excited at the prospects the role has because to say she sounded very animated about playing the role of a mysterious new regent on the show would be an understatement.

One thing that was very apparent from the conference is the fact that Mulgrew is extremely psyched to be reconnecting with the science fiction audience and when Airlock Alpha’s Michael Hinman asked her thoughts on that aspect of the role she enthusiastically provided the following comments.

Kate Mulgrew: “There’s no question about it. First of all, I think Syfy has become a wonderful network. And Warehouse 13, in particular, was an absolutely remarkable experience — wonderful for me in every conceivable way.”

When asked to talk a little about her character on the show, which is a mysterious regent by the name of Jane. Mulgrew chose her words very, very carefully.

Kate Mulgrew: “It’s a little tough. I’m sworn to secrecy on this one Michael. But suffice it to say, I come as a very powerful Regent bearing an extraordinary secret.

“And when the secret is revealed I think the audience will be, to say the least, quite surprised. It’s both wonderful and rather frightening at the same time.

“And the arc is thrilling because I’m not just any Regent; I have great powers. And so I think what unfolds will be very, very surprising to the audience.”

When asked what was challenging about her role of a regent on the series Mulgrew put an entirely different spin on playing a mysterious regent with her answer.

Kate Mulgrew: “I would say it’s been more delightful than challenging. I’ve felt so at home there, which is a very unusual thing at my stage in life to feel, coming in as a guest star. There was a naturalism to it, a complete sense of relaxation. And I feel like I fit there. So it was instantly, deeply familiar. And you very, very seldom get that.”

One of the questions asked commented about how much of a well-oiled machine Warehouse 13 is, and when asked about how she fitted in with the cast Mulgrew had high praise for producer Jack Kenny and was very complimentary of Saul Rubinek and the other cast members.

Kate Mulgrew: “Well it may well be a well-oiled machine, and that’s thanks to Jack Kenny, who as I’ve now said ten-million times is really an extraordinary showrunner.

“But I think that the surprise in all of it – Saul Rubinek is one of the great actors, I think of our generation — certainly my generation. And I felt, he’s consummate and he’s unexpected. So I had to step up to the plate whenever I was acting with him.

“Joanne Kelly is like a delicious confection. And Eddie McClintock, I would have to tell you, as well as Allison Scagliotti, are natural actors. So it’s like playing ball with people who are the best; you really have to play badly not to hit well.”

Mulgrew also revealed her take on why Warehouse 13 seems to have won such a devoted following and mirrors much or what our view is here at scifipulse.

Kate Mulgrew: “It’s smart — very smart, it’s tongue in cheek, and it’s clever. It’s asking the audience, you know, they don’t dot the I’s and cross the T’s, the audience has to stay on its toes.

“And I think that’s exactly what a sci-fi audience prefers; they want to tease out the puzzle along with us. And that’s what you get to do with Warehouse 13.”

When asked about taking on science fiction roles Mulgrew revealed that she hadn’t really been offered to much work in science fiction since her time on Voyager, but felt good about Warehouse 13 because it allowed her a tad more freedom than she may have had when doing Star Trek.

Kate Mulgrew: “It didn’t carry with it the baggage of some other science fiction shows. It has a real delicacy to it, and at the same time I think it’s, as someone had said before, a well-oiled machine, yes, but it’s still a very sleek and well-run machine.”

Of course, the one question all actors get asked about appearing on Warehouse 13 is did they get to play with any of the cool toys and Mulgrew revealed that she pretty much interacted with a fair few of the gadgets within the Warehouse.

Kate Mulgrew: “I got to play with all those toys, and lots of artifacts to boot. And that’s the other thing, I really want to say this, the beauty of it is you’re working in a Warehouse and every one of these artifacts is rooted in truth. So I have to tell you, I mean I was there for four episodes, I don’t know how many weeks that would be, but I was learning so much. I mean the Caloti bracelet is based on something that’s true. And whenever I get to learn I’m at my happiest. So the artifacts were fascinating, and there was the Farnsworth, I think that’s their sort of their tricorder if you will. And that was fun to work with. And I’m very familiar with the green screen and the blue screens and I know what that means. So that’s always a challenge. And it was great fun.”

In a few recent interviews, Mulgrew has revealed that her character of Jane has a magical quality to her. So when asked to perhaps compare Jane with the more scientific Captain Janeway. The actress tried to give an answer but was careful not to give to much away in the process.

Kate Mulgrew: Well let’s say, Captain Janeway was a Captain of a small starship which was lost in the Delta Quadrant. And her responsibilities were very serious. And she was an ardent scientist.

“This woman, Jane, is a mother, a person, a teacher, and the powers of the Regency have been endowed because it was her personal choice to help. But beyond that, I’m afraid I’m going to get into a rather grey area, which I’m not allowed to get into because the secrets that unfold are such that they’re very, very, very unexpected. And they’re big.”

On a more serious note, a few questions were fired at Kate about the wonderful work she has been doing to promote the cause of Alzheimer’s and the work that she does for the charity. Alzheimer’s is a condition, which has not just impacted the lives of everyday people, but has also taken some incredibly talented people away from us such as Peter Falk and in recent years we’ve learned that acclaimed writer Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed and is doing his bit to promote the charity, but Mulgrew has been heavily invested in making people aware of the condition for some time and when asked where she was currently at with it. She very graciously updated us on the work she has been doing and some recent developments.

Kate Mulgrew: “Well my job is to talk about it, get it out there, to help the University of Minnesota Hospital, in particular, the Grossman Center, I’m working with Dr. Karen Ash, who is I believe a pioneer in Alzheimer’s. And she invented the Alzheimer’s Mouse.

“There’s been a recent breakthrough out of Canada, I don’t know if you’ve read about it, a clinical trial. But I think that there was a discrepancy so we have to start again and each one of these trials is about $60 million. So raising the money is very difficult.

“So all I can do is write about it — vis-à-vis my experience with my mother, which was deeply personal, as you can appreciate — and speak about it and get it out there, because you know, by 2050 this will be pandemic. And if we do not get our hands around the throat of this thing now we’re going to be a lost people.”

Kate Mulgrew will make her first appearance as Jane on Warehouse 13 later tonight on Syfy Channel.

  • Trivia One of the questions Artie suggests to ask when investigating artifact effects, "Do you smell fudge in places where there are no fudge?", becomes a bit of a running joke in the series. Midway through the first season, Myka uses the phrase "I smell fudge" to tell Pete that she's on the trail of an artifact; in the season two premiere, Artie identifies an invisible mine by smell, which Claudia immediately states is fudge.

Where’s the Cast of SYFY's Warehouse 13 Now?

We’ll just say it: We could use more shows like SYFY’s Warehouse 13 these days. Carefree, winkingly silly, and never afraid to follow a hare-brained idea to its least-logical conclusion, the science fiction comedy tagged along for five glorious seasons as secret agents Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) chased down an ever-growing trove of relics and artifacts the government deemed too hot (and secret) for the public ever to handle.

Equal parts dangerous, silly, and downright sci-fi preposterous, it’s the kind of fluffy fun that signified the best of television a decade ago. And today, the show maintains a devoted following that’s even captured the nostalgia of its actual cast. Along the course of its five-year run, Warehouse 13 became a magnet for tons of memorable guest appearances , while cementing actors like McClintock, Kelly, Saul Rubinek (Artie), and more as evergreen favorites in fans’ minds.

RELATED: Warehouse 13: The SYFY Series’ 10 Most Magical, Memorable Guest Appearances

Those actors and more have been busy since Warehouse 13 socked away its final treasure with its 2014 SYFY sign-off. Join us for a deep dive into the post-series careers of the show's mainstay stars.

Joanne Kelly (Myka Bering)

Joanne Kelly as Myka Bering in Warehouse 13; Joanne Kelly in 2017 Photo: Steve Wilkie/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images; Walter McBride/Getty Images

Let’s just call her the sensible half of Warehouse 13 ’s core detective duo — though that’s hardly to say she had a total handle on things. Organized and efficient, Agent Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) supplied the much-needed discipline and situational awareness that (sorta) reined in partner Pete’s cartoonishly distracted tendencies... though as Warehouse 13 went on, all that close field work yielded plenty of Myka moments that showed she could be endearingly scatterbrained herself.

Kelly’s screen career has continued since Warehouse 13 , though it’s mostly been signaled by the occasional small-budget movie (like 2014’s horror flick Don’t Blink ) and the occasional TV series appearance, highlighted by an extended role on CBS’ Hostages as well as the network’s short-lived series Zoo . She showed up in a guest role for Apple TV+ in Severance last year, and also starred in a supporting role opposite Kevin Bacon on Showtime’s recently-ended crime series City on a Hill .

Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer)

Eddie McClintock as Pete Lattimer in Warehouse 13; Eddie McClintock in 2016 Photo: Steve Wilkie/Syfy/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Todd Williamson/Getty Images for Entertainment Weekly

The free-spirited doofus who in many ways personified the heart of the show, Agent Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) never met a Warehouse 13 case he couldn’t solve — without nearly bungling it, of course. Brave and big-hearted, Pete intrepidly chased after leads and toyed with dangerous gadgets like a curious little kid, never deterred by past screw-ups that would’ve taught most handlers (including an often-exasperated Myka) not to mess with history’s darkest mysteries.

Like Kelly, much of McClintock’s post- Warehouse 13 work has come in the form of guest appearances on series you’ve likely seen, with one-off roles on shows including Castle , Modern Family , Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. , Supergirl , MacGyver , and, most recently, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers . He’s still a big fan of the SYFY show he helped make famous, though: McClintock frequently engages with fans across social media, lending a little star support for their unwavering campaign to bring Warehouse 13 back for a small-screen revival.

Saul Rubinek (Artie Nielsen)

Saul Rubinek as Artie Nielsen in Warehouse 13; Saul Rubinek in 2023 Photo: Steve Wilkie/Syfy/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Where would Warehouse 13 be without Artie? One of the O.G.s of the government’s super-secret artifact program, the offbeat agent played by Saul Rubinek perfectly embodied the kind of unconventional thinking and downright odd persona that probably comes with years of handling dangerous mythic devices in solitude. Rubinek himself brought a long and decorated acting pedigree to the show from the start. A theatrically-trained stage actor with multiple award nominations in his native Canada (as well as an Emmy winner for his role in 1993’s And the Band Played On) , the actor already enjoyed mainstream U.S. success on the small screen with extended roles in CBS’ 1990s sitcom Ink , as well as a long-running character arc on NBC’s Frasier .

Rubinek’s done tons of sci-fi, in fact, guest starring in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation , Stargate: SG-1 , Lost , For All Mankind , and lots more. He's also enjoyed a decades-long film career, highlighted by Wall Street (1987), Unforgiven (1992), True Romance (1993), and Netflix’s The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018). Most recently, Rubinek starred opposite Dianna Agron in Hulu’s feature-length horror film Clock (2023).

Allison Scagliotti (Claudia Donovan)

Allison Scagliotti as Claudia Donovan in Warehouse 13; Allison Scagliotti in 2022 Photo: Russ Martin/Syfy/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; David Livingston/Getty Images

Pete, Myka, H.G., and Claudia: Die-hard Warehouse 13 fans definitely stay down to rep their favorite quirky character from the show, and for many, that honor goes to hacker extraordinaire Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti). Debuting with punky spirit early in the show’s first season and becoming all but the heir apparent to the agents’ sacred task of supernatural curation by its end, Claudia brought viewers tons of emotional investment as a character who hid an ocean of depth beneath her sometimes feisty demeanor — the better to ground the show’s wild artifact chases and rambunctiously silly sci-fi setups.

Even today, TV fans still know Scagliotti best for her long-running Warehouse 13 stint (alongside a crossover appearance as Claudia in companion SYFY series Eureka ). A versatile creative talent, she’s still active in both TV and film as well as music (under her stage pseudonym La Femme Pendu). Her post- Warehouse 13 roles aren’t too tough to track down: Scagliotti held a main cast role in the sci-fi series Stitchers , showed up for a recurring turn as Georgina Dowling in The Vampire Diaries , went behind the camera to direct episodes of Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger , and most recently appeared in a 2022 episode of ABC’s The Rookie: Feds .

CCH Pounder (Irene Frederic)

CCH Pounder as Mrs. Irene Frederic in Warehouse 13; CCH Pounder in 2023 Photo: Steve Wilkie/SyFy/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images for Tribeca Festival

The enigmatic, all-business caretaker of Warehouse 13's titular facility, Irene Frederic (CCH Pounder) had a habit of turning up on the show to serve up a gentle scolding just whenever Pete and Myka (and sometimes even Artie) had made a mess of things. Pounder has been a familiar face in both TV and film dating all the way back to the late 1970s, with memorable parts in classics like Prizzi's Honor (1983) and Postcards from the Edge (1990), alongside a slew of genre roles that include RoboCop 3 (1993), Face/Off (1997), Avatar (2009) and last year’s sequel Avatar: The Way of Water , and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). Those are just some of her movie roles, mind you.

On TV, Pounder’s been a prolific guest actor on everything from Miami Vice to Quantum Leap to The X-Files to Archer , while holding down key recurring roles on FX’s The Shield , NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , FX’s Sons of Anarchy , and CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans .

Jaime Murray (Helena "H.G." Wells)

Jaime Murray as H.G. Wells in Warehouse 13; Jaime Murray in 2016 Photo: Steve Wilkie/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Jason Kempin/Getty Images for The Heart Foundation

Though technically a guest character, Helena "H.G." Wells (Jaime Murray) was a Warehouse 13 fan favorite from the moment she zapped Pete & Myka to the ceiling in a sneaky bait-and-switch that neatly illustrated how she’d managed to stick around since the 19th Century (while fooling all of literary history in the process). Since Warehouse 13 , Murray’s turned up in easy-to-spot genre roles all over the small screen, including in SYFY’s own out-there western series Defiance , ABC’s Once Upon a Time , The CW’s The Originals , and Fox’s Gotham (as Theresa Walker aka Nyssa al Ghul). Most recently, Murray’s lent her distinctive pipes to the cast of Netflix’s animated Castlevania series, giving voice to Dracula anti-devotee character Carmilla.

Genelle Williams (Leena)

Genelle Williams as Leena in Warehouse 13; Genelle Williams in 2015 Photo: Steve Wilkie/Syfy/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Isaiah Trickey/FilmMagic

One of Warehouse 13 ’s most enigmatic figures, B&B aura-reading proprietor Leena (Genelle Williams) had a quiet way of just... knowing stuff about her South Dakota guests. Killed off in Season 4 in a tragic encounter with Magellan’s astrolabe (and Artie, who was acting under its influence), Leena and her duty to her age-old protective mission never really left the show... even after Leena herself was long gone.

With an early-career start on Canada’s Degrassi: The Next Generation , Williams’ post- Warehouse 13 roles have been infrequent — though it’s likely you’ve seen her somewhere. After a pair of leading appearances in Canadian series Remedy and Bitten , she joined The Expanse for a four-episode guest role (as Tilly Fagan), and has since gone on to star in Canadian legal drama Family Law . Williams also has a couple of high-profile horror films to her credit, including Orphan (2009) and Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021), where she starred as the ex-wife of Chris Rock’s haunted detective.

René Auberjonois (Hugo Miller)

Rene Auberjonois as Hugo in Warehouse 13; Rene Auberjonois in 2016 Photo: Steve Wilkie/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images; Noam Galai/WireImage

Hugo Miller (the late René Auberjonois) had one of Warehouse 13 ’s wilder recurring story arcs, the product of a sorta-failed early AI attempt at offloading half his brain onto the program’s proprietary supercomputer. Auberjonois passed away in 2019, leaving behind a deep body of creative work that spanned decades across both conventional screen roles and serious stage acting.

It’s tough to tidily summarize Auberjonois’ prolific career, but iconic performances in the original 1970 M*A*S*H motion picture, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (as the Changeling Odo), The Patriot (as militia volunteer Reverend Oliver), and Boston Legal (as buttoned-down bigwig Paul Lewiston) rate among his most memorable. Above it all, though, Disney lovers will forever prize Auberjonois as the voice of Chef Louis in 1989’s The Little Mermaid , crooning the kitchen number “Les Poissons” as his character hilariously celebrated the culinary nuances of animated seafood.

Mark Sheppard (Benedict Valda)

Mark Sheppard as Benedict Valda in Warehouse 13; Mark Sheppard in 2018 Photo: Steve Wilkie/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images; Jun Sato/WireImage

As Regent Benedict Valda, Mark Sheppard introduced Warehouse 13 fans to a slice of the program’s deeper lore while setting up a history-bending bit of story intrigue that would come to haunt the gang (and, arguably, himself) in later seasons. Sheppard enjoys huge popularity among genre fans for his role in Supernatural (as Crowley the demon), though his list of small-screen showings runs far deeper.

After early-career guest spots in episodes of The X-Files and Star Trek Voyager , he turned up in Joss Whedon’s Firefly as a small-time gangster, and played attorney Romo Lampkin on SYFY’s Battlestar Galactica . Lately, he’s been a key player on the cast of Doom Patrol (as Willoughby Kipling) and The CW’s Walker: Independence (as Nathaniel Hagan).

Aaron Ashmore (Steve Jinks)

An ATF agent gifted with the preternatural ability to tell if someone is lying, Warehouse 13 latecomer Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) joined the series in Season 3 and embarked on a wildly supernatural ride (he even died and came back to life!) through a storyline that spanned the two ensuing seasons. With double the acting exposure thanks to his identical twin brother Shawn Ashmore (who plays Lamplighter on Amazon’s The Boys , among other things), it’s easy to think you’ve seen Aaron everywhere over the years — and you’re probably at least half right.

Since Warehouse 13 , he’s held key roles in the Canadian space series Killjoys , on  Designated Survivor (alongside Kiefer Sutherland), Netflix’s Locke & Key , and Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia . In his pre- Warehouse days, Ashmore had recurring roles on Veronica Mars , Smallville (as Jimmy Olsen), and In Plain Sight .

Think you can handle the danger (and the comedy)? All 5 seasons of Warehouse 13 are currently streaming on Peacock!

25 Most Watched TV Shows of All Time

10 greatest tv villains of the 2000s, every season of outlander, ranked from worst to best.

Between 2009 and 2014, following a five season run, the science-fiction show Warehouse 13 became a cult favorite among fans of the genre. It was known for the way it blended a sci-fi theme with comedy and drama, and featured some wonderfully intricate and layered storylines, and is frequently considered a worthy successor to The X-Files .

The general idea of the show is that it follows Secret Service agents as they are assigned to the classified "Warehouse 13" — an apparent repository for supernatural artifacts. They must then go on various missions to find, retrieve, or recover such artifacts. According to the show, there have been 12 previous iterations of the Warehouse built during different times in history, all being the storage area for such artifacts.

The novelty behind it is that the Warehouse always moves to the most powerful empire of the day, since they will most likely be best defended there. Some of the previous versions of it throughout history included Warehouses that were kept in locations defended by the ancient Egyptians, The Roman Empire, The Hunnic Empire (Attila the Hun's empire), and Genghis Khan's Mongol Empire, to name a few. Prior to its current location, it was previously defended by the British Empire, who began using secret agents to maintain and defend its secrets.

Warehouse 13 is now located in South Dakota, with a federal agency being tasked with protecting it and ensuring the precious artifacts are intact or retrieved if lost or stolen. With a plot as intriguing as this, the show is a goldmine for creative storylines that even bled into shared universes and crossovers. Another great original show from the Syfy Network and with a great cast driving it, Warehouse 13 quickly gained a loyal following.

Fans have since been baying for a reboot, and one is apparently in the works, although it's uncertain of how much of the original show's characters and actors will be retained. If you've never seen the show, now would be a great time to catch up on it and see what all the surrounding hype is about. Here's a cast and character guide to get you started. The show can be streamed on popular services such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Peacock TV, or Vudu.

Eddie McClintock as Pete Lattimer

The first season of the show kicks off with a new agent, Pete Lattimer , being assigned to Warehouse 13. He's initially skeptical of the whole assignment but soon realizes that it's actually a very important one. The show constantly alludes to the fact that Pete is a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for many years now.

Pete has a rebellious streak and is known to twist rules wherever he can, to suit a given purpose. He also loves cookies, a trope that lends a somewhat comedic edge to his character. He seems to have some extra-sensory perception as he's been able to pick up positive and negative "vibes" since he was a kid.

He's played by Eddie McClintock , who has a long history as an actor of making appearances in some pretty notable shows such as the early 2000s sitcoms Just Shoot Me, Spin City, and Friends. He credits Warehouse 13 as the show that revitalized his career when it hit a plateau and is one of the cast members who champions the idea of a reboot . Since Warehouse 13, he's also appeared in major shows such as Supergirl, and was part of the main cast in Shooter.

Joanne Kelly as Myka Bering

In stark contrast to Pete, Myka Bering is an agent that is straight-laced and always by the book. Possessing an eidetic memory, she has a keen eye and rarely ever misses a detail. She also has an encyclopedic knowledge of books since she spent a major part of her childhood growing up in a bookstore.

We gain some insights into the fact that she lost a former partner in a tragic manner. Due to their differing styles, she and Pete rarely get along well, since their personalities and outlooks often clash. She's played by the beautiful Canadian actress, Joanne Kelly, who also has a long and decorated history in television, having made appearances in shows such as Supernatural , CSI: Miami, The Resident and Zoo.

Saul Rubinek as Artie Nielsen

Another genius in the show , Artie Nielsen is the Special Agent who supervises the Warehouse 13 assignment. He's also a skilled cryptographer and codebreaker who's formerly worked for the NSA. He's part of the furniture at Warehouse 13, having spent more than 30 years there — the longest time of any agent assigned to it.

Related: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Warehouse 13, and Stranger Things' Common Thread

He's played by Saul Rubinek, who has intriguing story as an actor. Saul's father grew up in a refugee camp outside of Berlin and the family later moved to the USA. He took up acting at a young age and has been a staple of the acting world since 1968. He's appeared in films such as Wall Street and Rush Hour 2, and made appearances in series such as Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Lost, and Psych along the way.

Allison Scagliotti as Claudia Donovan

Claudia Donovan was initially something of an antagonist in the first season. Joining more frequently from season two, Claudia later joins the agents of Warehouse 13 and then became one of the most important parts of the show until its end. She is Pete and Myka's former boss from Washington, Claudia is a hacker and is extremely bright and perceptive.

Related: Best Movies About Undercover Agents, Ranked

She's played by Allison Scagliotti, who's been acting from a young age. She's previously made appearances on shows like ER, CSI , and Smallville. Allison is, however, best known for her role as Claudia on Warehouse 13 and is regularly cited as one of the most popular characters from the show.

Genelle Williams as Leena

Leena is a character that was part of the main cast for the first four seasons and made guest appearances in season five. She pretty much runs the bed and breakfast in the nearby town where all the agents assigned to Warehouse 13 live. She also possesses some unique abilities and can sense a person's aura.

She's played by Genelle Williams who is another highly rated actress from Canada. Williams has made appearances in films like Orphan and shows such as The Expanse. She's considered one of Canada's most accomplished actresses and is a part of the Canadian Screen Actors Guild.

Simon Reynolds as Daniel Dickinson

Guest appearing on the first two seasons, Daniel Dickinson was also one of Pete and Myka's former bosses from Washington. He was fond of both agents and considered them his best. He was therefore not happy about them being reassigned to what he considered to be a middle of nowhere assignment.

He's played by Simon Reynolds, who is a Canadian actor but who's also been a director, and a film producer. His list of accomplishments include being involved in the highly successful Saw franchise.

Aaron Ashmore as Steve Jinks

As a recurring character from season three onwards, Steve Jinks is a former ATF agent. Having been recruited to join the team of Warehouse 13, Steve is something of a human lie detector. He was initially meant to play a smaller role, but was later brought back and becomes a more important part of the show from there.

Related: Here's 7 Movies Where Actors Played Their Own Twins

If you think he looks familiar, that's because he's played by Aaron Ashmore who is quite an accomplished actor, though not to be confused with his twin brother, Shawn Ashmore. While Aaron Ashmore is known for being in films like Conception and playing parts like Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, his brother, Shawn Ashmore is somewhat better known for being Iceman in the X-Men films .

CCH Pounder as Irene Frederic

A recurring character from the show, Irene Frederic has the important role of being the "caretaker" of Warehouse 13. She's believed to have been born in the mid 1800s. Her sister was its caretaker from a previous iteration but was killed when it burned down.

Since taking over as caretaker, Irene stopped aging. She's played by CCH Pounder, a Guyanese-born American actress who seems to also be ageless. Pounder has been around since the late '70s but is one of those evergreen actresses who's still going strong to date. She has a massive catalogue of work behind her — most notably in shows like The Shield and Sons of Anarchy, and appearances in films like Robocop 3 and Avatar. She's won many awards, and has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy and a Grammy Award.

Mark A. Sheppard as Benedict Valda

Benedict Valda is one of the "regents" of Warehouse 13, the group responsible for oversight of the place. He is cynical and always in conflict with the agents. Known as something of an enforcement person for the regents, he's often critical and difficult to deal with too.

Since the entire concept of the Warehouse is based on supernatural artifacts and events, Benedict was killed in an act of self-sacrifice that pretty much saved the Warehouse, but was later brought back in an alternate form. He's played by Mark A. Sheppard, who is a British actor and musician and has a variety of appearances in major shows. Among them, he's appeared in iconic sci-fi series such as X-files and Doctor Who.

Roger Rees as James MacPherson

James MacPherson is a character who was a staple of the show on the first four seasons. Extremely manipulative and psychologically brilliant, MacPherson was the main antagonist from the first season. He's also a former agent assigned to Warehouse 13 but began believing that its existence was wrong and that the artifacts it safeguarded belonged to the world.

He was played by the Tony Award-winning actor Roger Rees. Rees was known for a number of great appearances in some major films and shows. Notable among these were his roles in Frida and M.A.N.T.I.S , and his role as Lord Marbury on The West Wing . Remarkably, even after being diagnosed with brain cancer and undergoing surgery and treatment for it, Rees continued to rehearse and work on the Broadway musical The Visit. Sadly, he did later pass away in 2017 at the age of 71.

Here's a clip from his brilliantly hilarious part as Lord Marbury on The West Wing:

Jaime Murray as Helena G. Wells

Yet another person with a genius-level intellect, H.G Wells (not the famous writer) is a character who played a recurring part in the show from seasons two to five. She was also the main antagonist from season two. She's an inventor and a writer, and was also a former agent of Warehouses 12 and 13.

Adding to the character's titillating appeal is the fact that she's played by the delightful and beautiful Jaime Murray. While she hasn't appeared in many major films, Murray has a glittering background in TV shows, as she's had recurring roles in shows such as Dexter and Gotham.

René Auberjonois as Hugo Miller

Hugo Miller was an active part of the Warehouse 13 staff in the late '70s. He appears to have had some sort of romantic entanglement with another character named Vanessa during that time. He used to be the tech-expert for the Warehouse and attempted to build a self-contained and overarching security system for it. He also gained something of a reputation for being a practical joker. Now in retirement, he was also an avid user of marijuana and had a supposed mental breakdown. He's played by René Auberjonois who is an accomplished actor with a long career history.

Audiences may know him from appearances in films like Batman Forever and shows like Boston Legal. He's also an extremely accomplished voice actor who's worked on too many animated shows, films, book narrations, and video games to even mention. René also sadly passed away , in 2019. He was 79.

Faran Tahir as Adwin Kosan

Adwin Kosan is an important member of Warehouse 13 in the show since he is the head of the"regents'. He can also be frustratingly secretive and mysterious though. However, ultimately, he is the sole authority on all matters that pertain to Warehouse 13.

Related: How a Warehouse 13 Reboot Could Feature the Original Cast and Lore

Played by Faran Tahir, the actor hails from a multi-talented and artistic family and was born in Los Angeles. He's had some notable roles over the years, such as in films like Iron Man and Star Trek, and in shows like Supergirl, plus a recurring role in season two of Satisfaction.

Paula Garcés as Kelly Hernandez

A recurring part of season two, Kelly Hernandez is a veterinarian who becomes the main love interest of Pete. She initially doesn't get along well with him, but the pair end up bonding more as the season progresses.

She's played by the Colombian/American actress Paula Garcés, who was born in the infamous Municipality of Meddellin, Colombia. Audiences will know her from her roles in movies like Dangerous Minds, shows like The Shield, and as a memorable part of the famous soap opera, All My Children .

Nolan Gerard Funk as Todd

Todd is another recurring character from season two. He is a techie that gets involved with mobsters and later requires federal witness protection. He meets and falls in love with Claudia but has to set aside his feelings for her when his handler deems their relationship a risk.

Todd is played by Nolan Gerard, who fans may know from his appearances in films like House at the End of the Street and more recently from his role on the popular show The Flight Attendant.

Brent Spiner as Brother Adrian

Adrian, or better known in the show as "Brother" Adrian is an interesting character to say the least. He was an agent of the Vatican and part of a secretive society known as The Brotherhood of the Black Diamond. The Brotherhood's sole purpose is to protect an artifact known as Ferdinand Magellan's Astrolabe, and this role puts him in conflict with agents of Warehouse 13.

He's a recurring part of seasons three and four and is played by the legendary Brent Spiner. While Spiner is an accomplished actor with many other roles behind him, there's no point mentioning others since he is known in particular for one iconic role that stands out among all the others — this is of course the role of Lt. Commander Data in various iterations of the iconic Star Trek franchise .

Kate Mulgrew as Jane Lattimer

Recurring in seasons three and four, Jane Lattimer is one of the regents of Warehouse 13 and later becomes its "Guardian". Interestingly, she's also the mother of Pete and his sister, Jeannie. As a former school teacher, Jane was selected as a regent because of her insight into children.

She later quit as a regent but was persuaded to go back before her children were born. After a fortuitous turn of events, she later rises to become Warehouse 13 Guardian. She's played by Kate Mulgrew, who is an American actress and author. Mulgrew, also a part of the Star Trek franchise, made history when she became the first female Captain on the show , Star Trek: Voyager.

Ashley Williams as Sally Stukowski

Sally Stukowski is a recurring character from season three of the show. She's also known by the alias Helen Coldby, among others. As the lead investigator on another case in Denver, she crosses paths with Pete and Myka and becomes one of the main antagonists from season three.

Related: Best TV Series Coming to AppleTV+ in July 2022

Sally is played by Ashley Williams. Williams is a noted TV actress who has made recurring appearances on hit shows such as How I Met Your Mother and the main role on Apple TV's Amber Brown .

Sasha Roiz as Marcus Diamond

Recurring in seasons three and four is Marcus Diamond . Diamond was a Baltimore police detective who survived being shot three times. Using one of the famous artifacts from the show, he was revived but still has the bullets lodged in his heart. He later decides to help one of the antagonists from the show in gratitude for his resurrection.

Marcus is played by Sasha Roiz. Roiz is an Israeli-born Canadian actor. He's made appearances in some notable films such as Assault on Precinct 13, Unthinkable, and Pompeii. He's also had recurring roles on many shows, such as 9-1-1.

Kelly Hu as Abigail Chow

Replacing Leena as the owner and manager of the bed and breakfast in town, Abigail Chow was formerly a psychotherapist and a photographer. Her position there was coerced by the regents as they needed her assistance to help with another character's emotional state. Abigail recurs in seasons four and five of the show.

Abigail is played by the stunning and talented Kelly Hu. Hu's list of accomplishments are many and varied. She's an actress, model, voiceover artist, and beauty queen. She is the former Miss Hawaii and has made some notable appearances in recurring roles on shows like The Vampire Diaries and Arrow. She's also appeared in some huge films and many people will remember her famous part as Lady Deathstrike in X2 where she had an iconic fight scene with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

Anthony Michael Hall as Walter Sykes

The main antagonist of season three, Walter Sykes has been paralyzed since childhood and uses a wheelchair. He is an artifact collector that becomes quite a thorn in the side of the Warehouse's agents and staff. Steve Jinks later becomes one of his henchman.

He's played by Anthony Michael Hall who is a veteran actor with a string of film and TV roles since the '80s. Most recently, Hall had recurring roles in The Goldbergs and was a part of Clerks III.

Lindsay Wagner as Dr. Vanessa Calder

Vanessa Calder is the doctor for Warehouse 13 and is also a part of the CDC. She was recruited to the Warehouse at some time during the '60s and '70s. She was also something of a love interest to Hugo and was known to smoke pot with him.

Related: Doctors From Movies You Don't Want To Visit

Played by Lindsay Wagner, she's had a long and distinguished career in Hollywood. She's appeared in shows like Grey's Anatomy and Alphas , as well as films such as Sampson.

Jeri Ryan as Amanda Lattimer

Amanda Martin (formerly Lattimer) is the ex-wife of Pete, and also a Major in the Marine Corps. She visits Pete after he joins Warehouse 13, before she's about to be remarried but inadvertently becomes embroiled in an adventure involving an artifact. She has guest roles in seasons three and four.

Played by Jeri Ryan, audiences will know her well from legal shows such as Boston Legal and Shark, as well as recurring roles in two of the Star Trek series.

Josh Blaylock as Nick Powell

Nick Powell is a character who was actually born and lived during the 16th century but was then made immortal by using two famous artifacts. He's faced immense heartbreak over the course of his long life. With recurring roles in season four, Nick makes for an interesting and somewhat tragic antagonist at times.

He's played by Josh Blaylock, who's had roles in shows such as Numb3rs and Bones. Still only 32, Blaylock's best years are likely still ahead of him as an actor.

Chryssie Whitehead as Claire Donovan

The sister of Claudia, Claire Donovan was thought to have been killed in a car accident that took the lives of her parents. However, it was later revealed that she was alive and has been kept in an induced coma. Claudia and Claire also have a brother named Joshua, who also appears on the show.

Related: 11 Most Iconic Dance Scenes in Movie History

Claire is played by Chryssie Whitehead, an actor and singer who is also most notably a dancer in Broadway. She was Julia Stiles's dance double in the final audition scene of Save the Last Dance and has appeared in shows such as Grey's Anatomy.

Erick Avari as Caturanga

Making guest appearances in seasons three and five, Caturanga was notably the agent who was in charge of Warehouse 12 in London. He trained H.G Wells and has left his mark on the history of the Warehouse. As part of her training when he recruited her, he instructed Wells to snag the lantern of Jack the Ripper.

Caturanga is played by Erick Avari. Avari was born in West Bengal, India and is an Indian-American actor who's been acting in films and TV shows since the '80s. Avari has had many notable appearances over the years. Some of his most memorable were in The Mummy, Independence Day and in Ben Affleck's Daredevil, where he played Elektra's father.

It's been years since Warehouse 13 first aired but with all the hype around a possible reboot, interest in the show has been growing again. The nature of the show gives it great scope to expand or grow into a franchise, so it may be a good idea to jump on board and catch up with its first iteration now if you're someone who suffers from terminal FOMO when it comes to TV shows.
