“There were so many pieces of my life that crumbled in front of my eyes and I had to rebuild myself in a way, picking up the bones from the floor and putting them all together. And the glue that kept it all together was music,” she said.

The songs included on the album also touch on her public split from former pro-soccer player Gerard Piqué like “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “TQG.”

She’s still got it! I’ve been a massive Shakira fan for as long as I can remember, and I was hesitant to see her this year as I was worried about her performance not living up to my expectations and disappointing me.

Wow was I wrong. The energy was fierce and she audience were enthralled for every moment. The combination of Shakira enthusiastically throwing herself around the stage alongside the awesome pyrotechnics brought together the performance and atmosphere flawlessly.

Her sexuality is upfront yet inoffensive and a positive addition to her almost acrobatic dance routines.

She really aims to please her audience, interacting with them running through the aisles and offering her hand to fans. My absolute favourite was her performance of the classic, ‘Whenever Wherever’ which made the crowd go crazy. She appeared to relish every moment of her performance, which in turn encouraged us to lose ourselves in her performance. I really would recommend checking her out live if you have the chance, even if the European Pop isn’t up your street, she sure gives a great performance!

Shakira was just amazing!!! I’ve been amazed by her singing her dancing and her charm that I was able to see live. She is an incredible singer with mind blowing voice. I adore her for her persistence and that she decided to make the tour even when she was having health problems earlier. Live she’s even better than I imagined her to be.

Thank u for being there with us.

We love you so much Shakira!!! And we hope we will see u in Luxembourg again!

Unfortunately the concert was postponed. More unfortunate was that the cancellation was not very well informed, so I went to the concert place for nothing. I'm expecting to get my money back or possibility to use my ticket on other concert.

Shakira Announces U.S. Dates for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour: 'Celebration for My Wolfpack'

The string of concerts marks the Colombian superstar's first since her 'El Dorado' World Tour in 2018, and she "can't wait" to hit the road

Shakira is getting ready to hit the road!

The Colombian superstar announced a world tour in support of her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , on Tuesday and unveiled dates for the North American leg, which kicks off later this year.

"I’m so thrilled to announce the first dates for my LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR, a celebration for my wolfpack!" wrote Shakira, 47, on social media .

Live Nation

The Grammy winner explained that the tour's North American leg is "the only chance to experience the show in a more intimate way," seemingly teasing larger venues for her international dates, which will be announced at a later date. "I can’t wait to see you all and party together!"

Kicking off Nov. 2 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, the U.S. leg of the world tour — Shakira's first since 2018's El Dorado World Tour — will make stops in cities including Phoenix, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Toronto, New York City, Boston and more before wrapping Dec. 15 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Tickets first become available through a Citi presale starting April 17 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by an artist presale opening April 19 at 10 a.m. local time and additional presales before the general onsale begins April 22 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages are also available.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , Shakira's 12th studio album, was released on March 22 and includes the hits "Te Felicito," "Monotonía," "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53," "TQG," "Acróstico" and more.

In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon around the album's release, the "Hips Don't Lie" musician opened up about feeling "free" to make the new album — which marks her first in 7 years, following her  2022 breakup  from ex-partner  Gerard Piqué . (They share sons  Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9 .)

"I've been putting out music here and there, but it was really hard for me to put together a body of work," she said.

Kevin Mazur/Getty

"I didn't have time. It was the husband-factor. Now I'm husband-less. Yeah, the husband was dragging me down. Now I'm free. Now I can actually work," continued Shakira, who was never legally married to Piqué during their time together.

She explained that her new album's title translates to "Women no longer cry" in English, adding on  Fallon , "It's men's turn now. For too long we have been sent to cry with a script in our hands and without an end just because we are women. We have to conceal our pain in front of our kids, in front of society."

In a  four-star review of Shakira’s new album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ ,  NME  wrote: “With a career that spans four decades, she continues to push the envelope for Latin pop music and make the genre a global event. All her previous records had at least one song in English, but this time, she opts to sing fully in Spanish. With this vulnerable yet versatile collection, Shakira shows there are no limits to the art of her catharsis through song.”

Shakira also recently played a huge free pop-up show in New York’s Times Square , in front of a relatively impromptu crowd of 40,000.

Shakira Reveals Global Tour Plans – Here’s What We Know

shakira tour schedule

Shakira’s going on tour next year! In a recent interview with Billboard , the Colombian icon revealed plans for an upcoming world tour, describing it as “the tour of a lifetime.”

View this post on Instagram A post shared by billboard (@billboard)

Besides releasing a new album , rumors of Shakira’s upcoming 2024 tour have been circulating since Billboard briefly reported it earlier this month . Now, the singer confirmed that it’s officially in the works during Billboard’s latest cover story published today (Sept. 21). Though specific details are yet to be revealed, the media outlet shared that the global tour is aiming to include arena and stadium shows in almost 12 countries across Latin America, North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East.

“I think this will be the tour of my life. I’m very excited. Just think, I had my foot on the brakes. Now I’m pressing on the accelerator — hard,” Shakira said about her upcoming touring plans. Moreover, she also revealed that she was working during Beyoncé’s recent tour by “taking notes.”

Though we don’t know the exact logistics of the tour, Shakira wants it to be affordable. Besides balancing the songs that people want to hear, she also recognizes that a higher production equals a higher ticket price, which she doesn’t want. “I want the tickets to be affordable. But to me, the most important thing is the repertoire. That’s why I think [my next tour] will be the tour of a lifetime, because I have so many songs,” she said.

Based on her recent MTV Video Vanguard Award performance and her overall musical trajectory, we know that Shakira has a rich discography of hits. Will she perform all the hits from all of her albums? The upcoming tour will be the first since 2017’s El Dorado global tour.

What is Shakira’s most recent album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ about?

Shakira released her 12th studio album, “ Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran ,” which translates in English to “Women No Longer Cry,” on March 22. The album comes seven years after she released “El Dorado” in 2017.

A mix of pop, reggaeton, regional and rock, Shakira told the Sunday Times that “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” represents “the transformation of pain into creativity, frustration into productivity, anger into passion, vulnerability into resilience.”

Celebrating her eponymous album, which was released on March 22 of this year, Shakira's upcoming Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour marks her seventh headlining tour since 1996. The pop star announced her new tour at Coachella in April, which currently includes 17 concerts across 14 cities in North America. After the original announcement, Shakira added three dates to account for the upcoming tour's high demand.

As it stands, Shakira's 2024 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is set to kick off on November 2 and come to a close on December 15. The highly anticipated concert series is Shakira's first headlining world tour since her successful El Dorado World Tour in 2018, so tickets are going fast for her new shows.

We've got you covered if you're looking to get tickets to Shakira's 2024 concert series. Here's our breakdown of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour schedule, purchasing details, and price comparisons between resale and original tickets. How to buy tickets for Shakira's 2024 concert tour

You can buy original tickets to see Shakira's 2024 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour on Ticketmaster. However, demand for these shows has been extremely high since tickets went on sale in April, so there's a limited number of original tickets still remaining.

Tickets to Shakira's 2024 concert dates can also be purchased through verified resale ticket vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats . These resale sites may offer more variety in seating options and availability for the pop star's shows.

How much are Shakira tickets?

With so few dates on her 2024 world tour, tickets to see Shakira in concert are relatively expensive. Still, ticket prices for Shakira's tour vary depending on the date, location, and demand for each show.

The cheapest available standard original tickets to the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour start at $80 for Shakira's December 15, 2024 show in Detroit, MI, but prices tend to go up significantly for other tour dates. Generally, resale ticket prices are comparable to or cheaper than standard original tickets to her scheduled performances.

On Vivid Seats , the least expensive tickets to Shakira's 2024 tour range from $76 for her Detroit, MI show on December 15 to $345 for her opening show in Palm Desert, CA on November 2. StubHub offers similar prices to the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour this fall, with the cheapest available resale tickets starting from $82 for Shakira's closing night performance to $339 for her Los Angeles, CA show on November 9. Overall, the lowest prices for resale tickets to see the "She Wolf" singer in concert this year tend to fall into the $100–300 range.

There are also four different VIP packages being offered for Shakira's 2024 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. These options include the Ultimate Meet & Greet VIP Package (starting at $3,250), VIP Lounge Package (starting at $930), Gold Hot Ticket Package (starting at $580), and Wolf Den Package (starting at $1000).

Who is opening for Shakira's tour?

So far, Shakira hasn't disclosed her opening acts or the schedule of supporting artists for her 2024 tour. However, since several months still remain before the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour kicks off, there's still plenty of time for these announcements to come.

Will there be international tour dates?

While billed as her world tour, only two international shows have been scheduled so far for Shakira's 2024 concert series. Since only a few weeks remain in the year after her final bow on December 15, it's likely that these will remain the only international dates for Shakira's 2024 tour.

These international dates for the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour are both set to take place in Canada, including a show in Toronto, Ontario on November 30 and Montreal, Quebec on December 10.

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.

Todd Rundgren at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix

Danny Zelisko Presents will bring An Evening with Todd Rundgren to the Celebrity Theatre on June 19, 2024.

Rundgren is, in many ways, the quintessential rock ‘n’ roll enigma, a restless spirit who’s been following his own lead from the start.

As a producer, he’s responsible for classic albums by the New York Dolls, Badfinger, Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, XTC, the Tubes and Meat Loaf, among others.

His “Something/Anything?” album made the Top 200 on Rolling Stone’s 500-greatest-albums-ever list. The left turn that followed that perfect pop masterpiece, “A Wizard, A True Star,” was panned by critics at the time but has inspired reams of raving re-evaluation through the year, the Guardian hailing it as “harmonically richer and more ambitiously deranged than ‘The White Album.’"

His work with Utopia has been embraced by prog-rock fans while power-pop enthusiasts tend to worship the catchier side of his career, including his work with the Nazz. But to the general public, he’s still pretty much defined by five hit singles: “We Gotta Get You a Woman,” “I Saw the Light,” “Hello It’s Me,” “Can We Still Be Friends” and “Bang the Drum All Day.”

Champion was born in 1882 in London's East End. His career was cut short by the First World War, and his songs faded into obscurity until 2014, when his sheet music started to surface: first in Malta, then in England, and, intriguingly, in Belgium, where Champion probably met his end in the trenches.

By 2019, enough songs had been recovered for Jackson to resurrect them with a 12-piece orchestra.

Less than two weeks later, the rapidly rising Regional Mexican singer-songwriter announced he’s heading out on his ‘Mirada Tour’ from July through October.

As of now, Cornejo isn’t slated to perform in New York or New Jersey but will get close when he swings into Bridgeport, CT’s Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Saturday, Sept. 7 and Boston, MA’s Leader Bank Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 8.

“(I’m) playing all the new ones and all your favorites,” Cornejo shared on Instagram .

In regards to the “new ones,” the “Está Dañada” singer is scheduled to release his third studio album “Mirada” on July 18.

And if you want to see him belt his heart out live, tickets are available for all 19 ‘Mirada Tour’ concerts as soon as today.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, June 21.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Ivan Cornejo tour schedule 2024

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues, and links to buy tickets can be found below.

Ivan Cornejo set list

While Cornejo has played a number of high-profile gigs in the past year, the only recent set list of his we could find came from a gig of his in Lake Buena Vista, FL back in September 2023.

Since his new album drops next month, it’s likely what he plays on the upcoming tour will be quite different. However, if you want to see what Cornejo performed nearly a year ago, take a look below.

01.) “Llamadas Perdidas” 02.) “No Me Quise Ir” 03.) “Estás en Mí Pasado” 04.) “Perro Abandonado” 05.) “Está Dañada” 06.) “Está Dañado” 07.) “Me Hiciste un Loco” 08.) “HASTA LA MUERTE” 09.) “Hey There Delilah” (Plain White T’s cover) 10.) “Corre” 11.) “Aquí Te Espero” 12.) “Ya Te Perdí” 13.) “Tatuajes” 14.) “La Última Vez” 15.) “We Belong Together” (Robert & Johnny cover) 16.) “La Curiosidad” 17.) “Hasta el Día de Hoy” (Dareyes de la Sierra cover) 18.) “J.”

The above comes courtesy of Set List FM .

Ivan Cornejo new music

Cornejo’s third studio album “Mirada” drops on July 18.

In advance of the record’s release, he’s put out just one single, “Baby Please.”

The stripped-down, acoustic track bleeds heartbreak that transcends language barriers. Starting small before incorporating strings and tempo changes, Cornejo’s impassioned vocals draw you in and never let you go.

If you’d like to hear for yourself, you can find “Baby Please” here .
