Excellent in person agent, poor website

Our agent was absolutely excellent and couldn't have been better. Prices were also comparable to competitors. The website is not user friendly, offers very little filter options to customise your search and we kept getting error messages saying hays server was not functioning right. This was frustrating and had a negative impact on our experience with Hays, hence only 4 stars. If it weren't for the wonderful agent I'm sure we would've opted for a competitor as the competitors website made it much easier to narrow down options relevant to us.

What training or studies are needed to work in a travel agency.

Before we delve into the different courses that allow you to work in a travel agency, let's start by highlighting the fact that no diploma is required if you want to open your own agency or work in one. What is the scope of intervention of a professional?

My husband & I wanted information on a cruise we were thinking of taking. We spoke to Blu who was so pleasant & helpful. She talked us through various dates & ports to visit. She had been on a cruise herself & told us lots of helpful information. We did not feel rushed into any decision. We went home & discussed everything & returned the next day. Blu found a different date for us to consider which took in the places we wished to visit & within our price range. We booked it. Blu made us feel special & her customer service was second to none. Such a pleasure nowadays to have someone do their job so well & treat us so lovely. An asset to the company.

Excellent in person agent, poor website

Our agent was absolutely excellent and couldn't have been better. Prices were also comparable to competitors. The website is not user friendly, offers very little filter options to customise your search and we kept getting error messages saying hays server was not functioning right. This was frustrating and had a negative impact on our experience with Hays, hence only 4 stars. If it weren't for the wonderful agent I'm sure we would've opted for a competitor as the competitors website made it much easier to narrow down options relevant to us.
