Following their interview and performance on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius Channel 100, Hagar, Anthony, Satriani and Bonham will participate in a press conference starting at 10am PT from SiriusXM’s Hollywood Studios, hosted by Eddie Trunk and airing on Wednesday, Nov. 15 on Trunk Nation/Faction Talk Channel 103. In addition on Wednesday, Sammy will be interviewed on Access Hollywood and Access Daily, and on Thursday, Nov. 16 , he chats with Rob Lowe on his podcast Literally! With Rob Lowe .
The tour follows on the heels of the chart-topping success of THE COLLECTION II, the box set released October 6 featuring newly remastered versions of the four consecutive #1 albums released during the Hagar era of Van Halen: 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE (1991), and BALANCE (1995). A reminder to fans of the arsenal of hits, many which haven’t been played live since the band’s 2004 reunion tour. Collectively, Anthony, Satriani and Bonham have played together in nearly every phase of Hagar’s career including Van Halen, Chickenfoot and The Circle, so fans can expect a setlist which draws from some of the biggest rock anthems of the last 4-decades, including, Finish What Ya Started, 5150, Your Love is Driving Me Crazy, Best of Both Worlds, Poundcake, Sexy Little Thing, One Way To Rock, Right Now, Good Enough, Eagles Fly and more. They’ve also enlisted legendary Australian musician, Rai Thistlethwayte on keyboard and backing vocals. The tour represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this band of brothers deliver one of the most legendary hits-packed live shows of their career.
“It’s crazy to think that it’ll be 20 years since Mikey and I played these songs with Van Halen on the 04’ Best of Both Worlds Tour,” said Hagar. “With Joe on board, we can take a deeper dive into those years. We’re going to touch on some hits from my entire career but seeing fans old and new really embrace the new collection set off something in Mikey and I. We were at my Birthday Bash in Cabo for my 76 th and looked at each other and high fived, like ‘let’s do it.’ We pulled out a couple of them and it was an instant lovefest with the fans from our first riffs. The music we created is going to outlive us all. They deserve to be heard so it’s time we go out and serve the fans that music, while we still can.”

About Loverboy:
For more than 40 years, Loverboy has been “Working for the Weekend” (and on the weekend), delighting audiences around the world since forming in 1979, when vocalist Mike Reno was introduced to guitar hot shot Paul Dean – both veterans of several bands on the Canadian scene – at Calgary’s Refinery Night Club. Along with Reno and Dean, Loverboy still includes original members Doug Johnson on keyboards and Matt Frenette on drums, with Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve replacing the late Scott Smith on bass.
With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy live shows, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques, including the four-million-selling GET LUCKY, and a trio of double-Platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s KEEP IT UP and 1985’s LOVIN’ EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Their string of hits includes, in addition to the anthem “Working for the Weekend,” such arena rock staples as “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “The Kid is Hot Tonite,” “Notorious”, “Turn Me Loose,” “When It’s Over,” “Heaven In Your Eyes” and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.” In September of this year, the group was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto, ON.
About Sammy Hagar:
For more than four decades, Sammy Hagar has been recognized as one of the best and most accomplished lead singers and songwriters in rock music. From breaking into the industry with the seminal hard rock band Montrose, to his multi-platinum solo career, to his ride as the frontman of Van Halen, Chickenfoot and his latest best-selling supergroup, The Circle, Hagar has amassed 25 Platinum albums on sales surpassing 50 million worldwide. Along his journey, he has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written with songs like “I Can’t Drive 55,” “Right Now,” and “Why Can’t This Be Love,” and earned the highest respect of the music industry with a Grammy Award and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since opening his flagship Cabo Wabo Cantina in 1990, he’s turned a lifelong passion for great food, music and spirits into a thriving and iconic lifestyle brand encompassing restaurants and spirits. A pioneer in the spirits industry, he launched Cabo Wabo Tequila in 1996 and catapulted it into the #2-selling premium tequila brand in the United States. In 2010, Hagar sold his interests in Cabo Wabo Tequila to Gruppo Campari in a 9-figure deal that’s widely credited as the start of the celebrity-owned spirits trend. He now owns an award-winning portfolio of top-shelf spirits and beer that embody that same spirit of Baja beach life and rock ‘n’ roll. They include Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, a partnership with rock icon Rick Springfield, Santo Spirits, a partnership with tastemaker Guy Fieri, Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. and Red Rocker Brewing Co. Never one to hit the brakes, Sammy’s also expanded his successes into publishing, TV, radio and beyond, including five seasons of his hit TV show “Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar” and as host of “Sammy Hagar’s Top Rock Countdown,” a weekly syndicated radio show on 90+ US stations. He’s a #1 NYT bestselling author and his cocktail book, “Sammy Hagar’s Greatest Cocktail Hits,” was awarded the 2023 Independent Publisher Book Awards. He’s also a dedicated philanthropist, donating millions back to local communities through his private non-profit Hagar Family Foundation, and the first Honorary Ambassador to Los Cabos, an honor he was bestowed in 2022 in recognition of his longtime investment in the people and economy of Mexico. “The music we created is going to outlive us all. It’s time we go out and serve the fans that music, while we still can”: Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony announce The Best of All Worlds – the next best thing to a Van Halen tribute tour
Though not explicitly a tribute, Hagar promises that the summer 2024 trek will feature a very Van Halen-heavy setlist
Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and electric guitar legend Joe Satriani have announced a summer 2024 North American tour that's set to feature a very Van Halen-heavy setlist.
Its participants have been careful not to explicitly call The Best of All Worlds, as the tour is being called, a “Van Halen tribute tour,“ as original frontman David Lee Roth, drummer Alex Van Halen, and Eddie Van Halen's son – Mammoth WVH leader and one-time Van Halen bass guitar player Wolfgang Van Halen – do not appear to be involved.
Needless to say, though, given that Satriani was long involved in discussions for an official tour with Roth and Alex Van Halen that eventually petered out , it appears that this is as close to a genuine tribute tour as we're going to get.
“It’s crazy to think that it’ll be 20 years since Mikey and I played these songs with Van Halen on the 04’ Best of Both Worlds Tour,“ Hagar said in a statement. “With Joe on board, we can take a deeper dive into those years.
“We’re going to touch on some hits from my entire career, but seeing fans old and new really embrace [The Collection II, a new box set featuring remasters of Van Halen's four Hagar-era albums] set off something in Mikey and I. We were at my Birthday Bash in Cabo for my 76th and looked at each other and high five-d, like, ‘let’s do it.’ We pulled out a couple of them and it was an instant lovefest with the fans from our first riffs.
“The music we created is going to outlive us all,“ the singer concluded. “[The songs] deserve to be heard, so it's time we go out and serve the fans that music, while we still can.“
The statement announcing the tour highlighted latter-day Van Halen classics like Finish What Ya Started, 5150 , Good Enough , Best of Both Worlds , Poundcake , and Right Now as examples of what fans can expect to hear at the shows, along with material from Hagar/Anthony/Satriani supergroup Chickenfoot, and modern-day project The Circle.

From there, one can naturally infer that – in Roth's absence – the setlists will be light on material from Van Halen's first six albums.
The Best of All Worlds tour is set to begin on July 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida and will conclude on August 31 in St. Louis, Missouri, and will be supported by Loverboy. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 17, at 10 a.m. local time.

I saw Joe at the Fargo Theatre on the 17th of Apr. It was a kickass show! I had back stage meet & greet as well. the event staff was very polite and accommodating. We got to see the back stage set-up, including all of the axes Joe was using during the tour, as well as song lists, pedal set-ups, etc. The show itself was amazing! Joe played flawlessly as usual(although, he'd probably say differently), and played all the greats! The new songs are amazing as well, and I can't wait to see what he has in store for the future. Joe was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. We talked about all kinds of things for at least five minutes. He was that way with all of the fans that were at the meet & greet. Always willing to sign whatever you had, as well as pictures with the man himself. Joe is and always has been a class act. I'll continue to enjoy and revel in his artistic genius, and see him whenever, where ever I can. Rock on Joe!

Top notch band.
Satriani is a virtuoso and he is an absolute master of his instrument. His show reflects that.
Usually a band would not sound as cohesive live as they do on their studio albums. Joe Satriani and his band on the other hand sounds has full authority of the soundscape. Every note was precise. Plus, all the improvisations were appropriate, not to mention very dynamic.
I got the VIP pass. Met Joe and got him to sign the posters for some of my friends with whom I grew up listening to Satch. The VIP pass took us on stage pre-show. Got to see Joe's tech tuning his guitars, saw his Marshall amps and his gear. Took lots of pics there.
Show started at 8 pm. The live tone was fantastic. Very balanced sound from every instrument.
Mike Kennelly performed an interesting solo halfway through the show. He plays the backing guitars on some of the songs, and even plays guitar solos, sometimes alongside Joe.
Bryan Beller is a unique bassist. His chemistry with Joe is great. It becomes obvious that he is a great support.
Marco Minneman played a solo as well. I am not a drummer, but would love to go to a workshop of his if he ever did any.
Stage lighting is another big highlight. Spectacular. The production assistant Jeff told me how they have 9 crews working on the set, plus another 7 from the venue who setup everything in 3 hours, and pack it up in an hour or 2 for the next show. That's a lot of work.
What's important is band chemistry. They're very dynamic on stage, solid performers. They all have such a mature and professional approach to their love of music, it's humbling. They're pushing the boundaries of the definition of rock for sure. It's [rock music] not all about sex, drugs, or Satanism. It's very dynamic, cultured, and definitely accomplished.
Amazing show! Joe left me speechless! Only a few criticisms. Almost three hours of deafening guitar was fun but it became grinding after a while, it would've been nice to have it broken up with the occasional vocal. The acoustics of The Danforth aren't the best and the sound became muddled and Joe's guitar work occasionally became lost. After seeing so many pyrotechnic showcases I would generously call "concerts" it was refreshing to see a simple straight up show that showcased some of the best musicianship I've seen in a very long time. And after seeing the on-going feud called "Van Halen" it was also great to see a group of musicians having the time of their life together and an artist absolutely loving what he does. Joe was downright exuberant! I would recommend this show to anyone who loves watching brilliant musicians create unforgettable music together. Great fucking show!!

“The Satch/Vai Tour is happening!” exclaimed Satriani via a press release. “I’m so looking forward to sharing the stage with Steve again. Every time we play together it takes me back to when we were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging and helping each other to be the best we could be. I guess we’ve never stopped!”
Vai shared his fellow shredder’s excitement: “Touring with Joe is always a pleasure and an honor. He is my favorite guitarist to jam with, and now we have another opportunity to take it to the stage.
