From the hotels (and their locations!) to the tour guides to the drivers to the dinners planned, everything was wonderful. We especially loved the restaurant in Venice at the start of the trip. What a wonderful vibe. We sat at a small table by an open window in an old neighborhood trattoria. The food was amazing, the people friendly, the wine, of course, oh so good. We soon found this to be true everywhere we went. Food & wine amazing, and the people supporting our trip were such nice people! I could go on and on about all the places we visited, so many wonderful experiences. Each and every day we were doing exactly what we wanted to be doing! Perfecto! For my mom, who is 84, it was extra special. She has wanted to go to Italy for many years. She has never been though her dad was born in Vietri sul Mare. She had a fantastic time, and amazingly she walked the streets of Venice, Rome, Florence and the towns in Campania as if she were 65. She walked the cobblestones of the Colosseum and Pompeii and the steps everywhere! :) She had an incredible experience. As did the rest of us. I'd like to thank you for always being there when needed, I got to know quickly that your assistance did not end when we arrived in Italy. "We had a great time with the Explore Simply Japan trip. We lucked out with a very small group size of 5, which made all of the logistics a lot more manageable. Our guide Synjun was awesome. He was great at keeping us informed on the logistics day-to-day and sent reminders via WhatsApp. He handpicked awesome restaurants for meals and gave great suggestions on where to eat and get coffee during tour downtime. Synjun was extremely knowledgeable and taught all of us a lot about Japanese culture, history, cuisine, etiquette, etc. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the highlights across Japan. The only note is be prepared to do a lot of walking, I think we averaged something like 5-8 miles per day most days. We enjoyed that aspect, but its important to take into consideration if that amount of walking is intimidating."
