Transportation will be provided to most of the activities, so you don't have to worry about driving in an unfamiliar city or country.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an rv caravan.

Fantasy RV Tours offers two different types of RV vacations: Caravans and Rallies. An RV Caravan is a group of independent RV Travelers who travel on a professionally-guided route with a pre-planned travel itinerary, including reservations for camping, events, excursions and selected meals. A Caravan is led by expert leaders – WagonMasters & TailGunners – which we collectively call Travel Ambassadors. The WagonMasters lead the tour and are the first to leave the campground in the morning, while the TailGunners are the last to leave. Our guests typically travel in between, knowing the TailGunner is the last traveler and will stop to assist anyone along the route that needs it. You can relax knowing you’re accompanied by professionals who are there to assist you in times of need – whether mechanical, personal or health. To learn more, click here .

What is an RV Rally?

A Rally is a group of RVers who meet and stay in one location to celebrate an event or explore a geographical area, e.g. Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, Rose Parade, Calgary Stampede. Similar to Caravans, all of the planning and transportation to and from events are taken care of and included in the price of the Rally. To learn more, click here .

Do I need to own an RV?

Yes and no. Caravans require an RV; whether owned or rented. Some of our rallies have an option to stay in a cabin or hotel, which is indicated in the tour information. If traveling in an Overseas caravan, an RV rental will be provided.

What does a Travel Ambassador do?

On each of our RV Caravans, you’ll be accompanied by expert guides – WagonMasters (RallyMasters for Rallies) and TailGunners – which we collectively call Travel Ambassadors. Our professional leaders receive annual classroom recertification training in addition to ongoing practical training in the field. They are problem solvers who orchestrate the flow of events on tour and are soon to be your traveling friends. Our WagonMasters lead the tour and are the first to leave the campground in the morning, while the TailGunners are the last to leave. Our guests typically travel in between, knowing the TailGunner is the last traveler and will stop to assist anyone along the route that needs it. You can relax knowing you’re accompanied by professionals who are there to assist you in times of need – whether mechanical, personal or health.

Will we travel caravan/convoy style or independent travel?

We often suggest scattered travel during a caravan with groups of 2 to 4 RVs traveling at a safe distance apart who may enjoy similar points of interest. Of course, you may travel independently at your own pace – enjoying sites and side trips. You are welcome to follow the WagonMaster, but it’s not necessary. Your Travel Ambassadors are there to ensure safety for the entire group. It’s your vacation, so we offer options – we want you to enjoy safety, comfort and freedom.

Do you limit the number of RVs?

Yes. You’ll want to make reservations early to reserve your space. Reservations are prioritized in the order received. Most of our caravans are limited to 22 RVs, while rallies are determined individually.

What does the price of an RV tour include?

Our tour prices include all RV site accommodations, meals, events and activities as listed on the itineraries. To see a full list of what’s included in all tours, click here .

Are your RV Tours pet-friendly?

YES! We are a pet friendly company. However, it is your responsibility to care for your pet.

Do you offer different payment options?

We have various payment options including pay by check (receive a deep discount) and interest-free, monthly payment plans. For more details,  click here .

GRAND EAST COAST 40-DAY RV Caravan

WANTED:  Curious, fun-loving RVers looking for adventure! Now’s your chance for an epic 40-day RV trek on Fantasy RV Tours’ Grand East Coast Caravan! Travel from the cool, rugged coastline of Maine to the sunny, sweeping shores of Florida. This is a multi-cultural mix of charm-filled seaports, four major metro adventures and a total immersion into the roots of our American culture. It’s not about how fast we go or how many sights we tick off our bucket list. It’s about the RV journey itself: the joys of unexpected discoveries, the unfolding of  experiences on the road and sharing them all with new friends as we travel in the comfort and convenience of our RVS.

There’s only one way to start this adventure, and that’s at the quaint seaside retreat of Kennebunkport, Maine, once known as the Summer White House for President George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.  We tour the historic gardens and homes of Strawbery Banke, a very unique outdoor living-history museum. We explore the majestic Nubble Lighthouse perched proudly atop Maine’s rocky coastline.

The brief urban respite ends as we arrive at Jersey City, directly across the mighty Hudson River from New York.  This perfect location affords us all fast and easy access to NYC’s many attractions – without the noise, traffic, and crowds of the city.  Sightseeing starts fast and furious over the next four days with a spectacular harbor night cruise.  From there, we explore mad Manhattan from top to bottom.  On the Upper Westside, we visit the Lincoln Center (home to New York’s performing arts), Central Park, Museum Mile, Grand Central Terminal, 42 nd Street Deco architecture and the Chrysler and UN buildings. We stroll down famous 5 th Avenue; visit Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trump Tower and Times Square.  We dine at one of New York’s most famous sports bars, finishing with a top-billed Broadway show.

Sightseeing continues in Lower Manhattan with a visit to the Statue of Liberty, the incredibly moving 911 Memorial, Trinity Church, Little Italy (for dinner!), St. Paul’s Chapel (the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan), Wall Street and Greenwich Village, the city’s Bohemian arts enclave – known simply as ‘the Village’ by locals. Of course, Fantasy takes you to the Top of the Rock for its legendary sweeping view of Central Park and Manhattan’s skyscrapers.  Our unusual approach to exploring New York is to devote an entire day of independent discovery of the city by boat, train, bus and subway. We provide round-trip water taxi tickets to and from the RV park, along with an opportunity to customize your own city tour!

‘It’s all about the milk chocolate!’ on the Hershey Factory tour, nestled in the fertile dairy lands surrounding Hershey, a boutique village common in this part of rural Pennsylvania. This delightful sensory experience bursts with wonderful smells, sweet samplings and plenty of shopping.

A short 78-mile drive plunges us into Philadelphia. A guided bus tour takes us to several historic landmarks.  We visit the Betsy Ross House, beloved birthplace of the American flag in the 18 th century.  Independence Square is an important stop, including Independence Hall, where the United States Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were adopted. The inspiring Liberty Bell resides here too.

Onward to the lovely coastline of the Carolinas!  First stop is Cape Hatteras, filled with many interesting things to do.  We begin here with a guided tour of the barrier islands that separate the mainland from the Atlantic Ocean, aka the Outer Banks.  We visit the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, specifically chosen by the Wright Brothers for their aeronautical experimentation because it met their requirements for an isolated site with steady winds, high sand dunes (to cushion falls!) and limited obstructions.  Visiting some of the historic lighthouses dotting the coastline completes our exploration of this captivating vacation destination.

We answer the siren call of South Carolina’s 60-mile stretch of subtropical beaches upon arrival in the luxurious resort area of Myrtle Beach.  Our beach party gets started with a grand seafood and country buffet dinner, and it just keeps growing with live musical entertainment at the Alabama Theatre.

Bidding farewell to Myrtle, we head south to the charming cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and pastel antebellum homes of Charleston. Southern hospitality starts now !  We begin with a USS Yorktown Maritime Museum and Patriots Point tour.  The USS Yorktown was the tenth aircraft carrier to serve in the United States Navy. We take a comprehensive tour of Boone Hall Plantation, one of the country’s oldest living, working and producing plantations.  Boone Hall Plantation is also the only plantation in the country to offer a live “Gullah Presentation,” a performance depicting the unique culture adapted by African slaves.

In 40 days we drive just under 2,000 miles from north to south, cool to warm, traveling in a Fantasy dream sequence on this Grand East Coast dream route. We have taken our sweet time to absorb and savor the culture, history and seasonal flavors of each destination. History, heritage, and hospitality have greeted us at every stop. Most importantly, we’ve shared our experiences with the new friends we’ve traveled with all along the way.

Hamilton tiger-cats at calgary stampeders odds, picks and predictions, share this article.

fantasy rv tours calgary

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Calgary Stampeders open their CFL regular seasons Friday night at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s  lines around the Tiger-Cats vs. Stampeders odds , and make our expert CFL picks and predictions .

The Tiger-Cats picked up a 22-15 win as 1.5-point favorites as the Under (48.5) cashed in their only regular-season meeting vs. the Stampeders last season.

QB Bo Levi Mitchell begins his 2nd season in The Hammer, and the veteran looks to help the team improve upon a so-so 8-9 straight-up (SU) record. He was limited to just 6 games due to injury. When he did play, he completed just 59.1% of his passes for 1,031 yards, 6 TDs and 10 INTs. The Ti-Cats will likely lean upon WR Tim White for big things again in 2024.

The Stampeders had an awful season by their standards, going just 6-12 SU and 9-9 ATS in the regular season. They’d love to toss a monkey wrench into Mitchell’s plans for a resurgence. He starred for the Stamps from 2012-22.

Tiger-Cats at Stampeders picks and predictions

Tiger-Cats 25, Stampeders 19

The Tiger-Cats (-115) are worth a look on the road as Mitchell heads to Calgary with an axe to grind. Hamilton had a poor season, although it did qualify for the postseason in 2023. However, after an injury-marred season, one which saw Mitchell limited to just 6 games, Hamilton looks to get off to a quick start.

The Stampeders (-105) also made the postseason despite a losing record. They struggled to get much going, and they’ll have a tough time getting off to a big start with Williams sidelined. Mitchell should be able to hook up with White for a big start.

Against the spread

The TIGER-CATS -1.5 (-105) are cheaper laying the little bit of points on the road. Hamilton won the only meeting last season and had the better year, if only by a little bit.

The Stampeders can’t be trusted, at least not yet. Let’s wait to see if QB Jake Maier is a little more consistent before backing Calgary. Plus, we’ll need to see how RB Dedrick Mills performs as he replaced departed RB Ka’Deem Carey.

UNDER 45.5 (-110) is the lean in this Week 1 battle, but go with a half-unit play at best.

Maier and the Calgary offense struggled with consistency in 2023, and the Stamps cashed the Under at a 10-7-1 pace including the postseason loss.

The Ti-Cats closed out the season on a 4-2 run to the Under, including the Week 17 meeting with the Stamps.

Hall: Mitchell all business in return to Calgary

fantasy rv tours calgary

Bo Levi Mitchell touched down in Calgary Wednesday night with a personal game plan for his first appearance in enemy colours at McMahon Stadium.

No pre-game fraternizing with the opposition. No nostalgic tours of his old neighbourhood. No “quick” drinks with family and friends. Back at the helm of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ offence, Mitchell is determined to author a comeback story this season fitting of a Texas cowboy.

It all starts Friday night in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

“It would be an understatement to say I’m happy to be able to come back and play again at McMahon Stadium where I obviously have a lot of good memories,” Mitchell said before boarding a plane bound for Alberta. “Good, bad and everything in between.”

PASSING YARDS | VERNON ADAMS. JR. | 4,769

The good memories include two Grey Cup titles (2014 and 2018) for the two-time CFL Most Outstanding Player (2016 and 2018). The good memories include countless laps for the Calgary Stampeders’ touchdown horse with Mitchell sporting a glittering 47-13-2 record at McMahon.

“I had so many great years in front of those fans,” said Mitchell, now a grizzled veteran at age 34.  I look forward to putting up another great game in front of them.”

Even if it means (temporarily) snubbing his loved ones before the opening kickoff.

“It’s important for me to get out there and get off to a hot start,” Mitchell said. “So I’ll just stick with my teammates — hang out at the crib, or the hotel — and then I’ll see people after the game.”

At the end of the ’22 season, the Stampeders traded Mitchell’s rights to Hamilton in an exchange of draft picks. Two months later, Mitchell signed a three-year deal with the Tabbies.

But the 2023 campaign did not go as planned for Mitchell or his new team. Injuries limited the Eastern Washington product to just six starts and modest stats (a 2-4 record, completing 78-123 passes, 1,031 yards, six touchdowns and 10 interceptions.)

Those numbers look particularly pedestrian compared to Mitchell’s career stats of 2,574 – 3,998 passes completed for 33,572 yards, 194 touchdowns and 99 interceptions.

“On the personal side, I’m just looking to get back to healthy, strong football and leading the offence and leading the team,” he said.

Barring a wrinkle here or there, Mitchell knows what to expect from the Calgary defence.

And the Stampeders know what to expect from him.

“There’s not a defence he probably hasn’t seen or a blitz he hasn’t seen,” said Calgary cover man Branden Dozier. “He’s going to throw the ball deep and he’s going to challenge us as DBs to make plays.

“He’s probably going to look off the safety and the DBs and go the opposite way. So we have to pay attention to his pre-snap cues and where he’s actually looking and what they’re trying to set up.”

fantasy rv tours calgary

Mitchell is ready for his long-awaited return to Calgary, where he built a Hall of Fame calibre career with the Stampeders (Ticats.ca)

There’s no disguising the fact the Calgary coaching staff holds Mitchell in the highest regard.

“He’s the best,” said defensive coordinator Brent Monson. “A Hall of Famer. We’ve just got to do what we do and try to make him uncomfortable.”

And history dictates the bigger the moment, the bigger the performance from No. 19 — regardless of how uncomfortable he may feel.

“He’s not my player, and I’m not his coach,” said Dave Dickenson, Calgary’s head coach and general manager. “But he’s always going to have a part of me. I love our relationship, and I love what he brought to the Calgary Stampeders.

“But we’ve got to try to go get a win and then make his life a little bit miserable.”

Both Dickenson and Mitchell have openly mused about the possibility of one day coaching together. And Mitchell’s talent for broadcasting is clear any time he steps into the TSN studio as a guest analyst.

A career behind the microphone is there for the taking if Mitchell wants it.

“He’s one of the best — I think he would probably appreciate hearing that,” Dickenson said of watching his former quarterback on TSN. “He does outstanding work, but I also think he would be an outstanding coach at some point. And he’s one of the best players. I’ve got a lot of good feelings towards Bo even though we’ve got to go out there and get the win.”

Regardless of what happens in Friday’s game, Mitchell’s body will no doubt remind him of the passage of time when he finally gets to catch up with family and friends after the final gun.

At 34, the hits hurt more after the fact than they did at 24.

“I’m not done with the game, and I hope it’s not done with me yet,” Mitchell said. “I remember Milt Stegall told me, ‘You’ll know when you’re done, because you won’t ever want to get hit again.’

“And I still have no problem with getting tackled. And I’m still having fun.”

C.T. Pan uses fan, 2 other caddies after ‘Fluff’ Cowan takes fall at PGA Tour event

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - JUNE 02: Paul Emerson, a fan, smiles for a photo after having caddied for C.T. Pan of Taiwan for a portion of the final round of the RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf & Country Club on June 02, 2024 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Minas Panagiotakis/Getty Images)

HAMILTON, Ontario — Mike “Fluff” Cowan, the caddie for PGA Tour pro C.T. Pan, took a fall at Hamilton Golf and Country Club during the final round at the RBC Canadian Open Sunday.

This forced Cowan, a popular caddie on the PGA Tour, to exit and a series of people to caddie for Pan the rest of the round.

It started with a fan from the gallery, Paul Emerson. Wearing a Masters T-shirt, Emerson slipped under the ropes, was handed a caddie bib and grabbed the bag. From holes five through nine, Michael Campbell, who is a part of caddie services, relieved Emerson, a PGA Tour spokesperson confirmed. As the group made the turn, Al Riddell, caddie for PGA Tour golfer Paul Barjon, arrived on the scene and took over for the rest of the round.

Riddell was getting ready to go get coffee when his father mentioned Cowan’s fall. Living 15 minutes away, Riddell got changed, grabbed his yardage book and traveled to the golf course to check on Pan.

“I just went over to see him to see if he was OK, if he needed someone and then I jumped in on the back nine,” Riddell said after Pan’s round.

Riddell caddied for Pan when he was on PGA Tour Canada (formerly known as the Mackenzie Tour). He said he was mostly quiet throughout the back nine, letting Pan play.

Pan shot an even 35 on the back nine en route to a 1-under 69. He finished at 3-under for the week, tied for 37th. For Riddell, the most memorable moment of the day was when Pan holed out for eagle on No. 12.

“I didn’t give him the yardage,” Riddell said. “I didn’t even have a hole location sheet.”

Riddell praised Pan’s demeanor on the back nine given the circumstances. Pan, who is from Taiwan, declined requests for comment after his round.

Cowan is expected to be fine after the fall.

Cowan, 76, started working with Pan full time in May. He was the long-time caddie for Jim Furyk from 1999 to 2024. Cowan also caddied Tiger Woods for his first major win at the 1997 Masters.

Pan, 32, has one win on the PGA Tour at the 2019 RBC Heritage.
