My husband and I had the pleasure of experiencing this tour just last month, guided by Abdel, who was both our driver and tour guide. Abdel went above and beyond to accommodate us. He not only drove safely but also displayed impeccable manners, courtesy, and extraordinary patience with us, given our age. Throughout our journey, we stayed in various riads, some of which were good and others exceeded our expectations. Our final hotel in Casablanca was pure luxury, and Abdel made sure our tent in the Sahara Desert had air conditioning – a thoughtful provision considering the intense desert heat at that time. Local guides Aziz in Fez and Fouad in Marrakesh enhanced our experience. Both were fluent in English, fun, and extremely knowledgeable about Morocco. Our camel ride across the Sahara Desert and the horse carriage tour around Marrakesh were definite highlights. Overall, our private tour of Morocco was an immensely enjoyable experience. I am enthusiastic about recommending this tour to my friends and relatives who have a desire to explore this remarkable country. A big thank you to Abdel and the entire team for making this journey unforgettable.

Olivia Johnson

The journey was truly amazing and provided an incredible chance to explore Morocco through the eyes of a local guide who warmly shared his life with us. It was an ideal adventure for our extended family. Our guide, Brahim, was exceptionally attentive to every requirement. I gained valuable insights into the country, its culture, religion, and way of life. A heartfelt thank you for such a remarkable experience.

Aarav Gupta

I had an absolutely amazing 7-day journey! The team at Marrakech Desert Trips truly outdid themselves, and a big part of it was how wonderfully Abdel, our guide, took care of us. This adventure gave us a delightful blend of city and countryside experiences in Morocco. One highlight that stood out was our trip to The Sahara Desert – riding camels, spending a night at a desert camp, and meeting a nomad family were unforgettable moments. The hotels we stayed in were carefully chosen and had a unique charm that you wouldn’t find in typical chain hotels. The level of hospitality we received at each place went beyond our expectations. Abdel was patient with our many questions about Moroccan life and answered them all with grace. Our journey truly left us with a deep understanding of life in Morocco.

Sophia Brown

Right from the moment Mohamed, our driver and tour guide, welcomed us at the airport, his warmth and professionalism left a great impression. Throughout our 6-day Morocco tour, each day surpassed our expectations. This was a direct result of how Marrakech Desert Trips, with Mohamed leading the way, meticulously handled every aspect of our daily experiences. The Riad accommodations were exceptional, and the local guides in Fes and Kabah Ait Ben Haddou were outstanding. Mohamed made sure that we didn’t miss out on any significant places, and he truly immersed us in the authentic Moroccan culture and history. While it’s hard to pick just a few, the standout moments included our unforgettable three days in the desert region – riding camels, exploring a Bedouin village – truly etching themselves in our memories. It’s worth mentioning that Mohamed went above and beyond to arrange medical assistance for my husband when he fell ill in Fes. If you’re considering a trip to Morocco, we wholeheartedly recommend Marrakech Desert Trips.

Ethan Williams

My husband and I just finished a 6-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech that included stops in Chefchaouen, Fez, and the Sahara Desert of Morocco. Everything was well planned. The sunset camel ride in Merzouga was a highlight for us, followed by a night in a lovely luxury tent in Erg Chebbi! If you want a stress-free, well-organized holiday, I would definitely recommend booking via Marrakech Desert Trips. Be aware that you will be spending a lot of time on the road. We sat comfortably in the 4×4 with enough room for four luggage.

What people say about us

Surprising little gem

What a great experience! Our guides Rachid and Brahim have been extremely engaging with stories about the desert and songs under the stars.

The whole package was absolutely unforgettable: the ride on the dunes, the camels in the desert, the tea upon arrival, the camel ride, the fancy dinner and night under the stars, the songs, and the sunrise.

This is absolutely recommended, even for a family with children like ours

matteo

Buttrio, Italia

Wonderful experience in the desert

We did an overnight tour to the Sahara dunes, went to the camp, were served the traditional Moroccan meal and had a camel ride at the sunrise next day.

This was the most amazing part: strolling around the dunes, watching Sahara changing around us and listening to the blowing wind.

The team made our stay here really unforgettable. We would definitely recommended this company for any kind of organized trips. Thank you, guys!

Girls’ trip to Amazing Morroco

We were a group of 5 girls, from the US. This was our first time in Morroco.

We started from Casablanca down to Zagora with many stops on the way down. We enjoyed the beauty of the Atlas mountains, wandered around Aït Benhaddou, and visited Zagora.

The tour was excellent, and the highlight of our trip was the night in the camp at Erg Chigaga with camel ride and climbing the dunes to see the sunset. Great food all the time.

Younes was excellent and very patient with us. Next time I will come back with my family, highly recommended.

As everyone knows, Fes is one of the most important places in Moroccan history. Because of this, going to the old Medina is like going back in time to learn about its amazing past. After that, the Chouara tannery is the biggest in Fes and all of Morocco. There, people make things out of leather and paint them different colors, sometimes with spices. Afterward, you will have the chance to see al-Qarawyine University, which was set up by a woman named Fatima Al-Fihri. The university is also the oldest in the world, which is pretty cool. When you visit the city, you will definitely see many other places, like Bab Boujloud and the Mellah areas (Jewish quarters).

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga Sahara desert

Afterward, you will have the chance to see al-Qarawyine University, which was set up by a woman named Fatima Al-Fihri. The university is also the oldest in the world, which is pretty cool. When you visit the city, you will definitely see many other places, like Bab Boujloud and the Mellah areas (Jewish quarters).

When you compare them to other places of Morocco, the weather and the way buildings are made are very different. We’ll pause in this city and take a stroll to see some of its interesting sights, like the Atlas Lion Statue.

We will also stop for lunch in the cities of Midelt and Zaida along the way. It will take some time to get to Morocco’s largest date valley from the Tizi Ntlghmt turns. One of our main stops will be this place because it has some of the best views. After that, we’ll leave for Merzouga, which is our last stop.

You’ll ride horses through the pretty sand hills when we go to the desert. Without a doubt, this evening is the most famous part of the tour. You will do many things, like watch the sun go down and the stars come out, and listen to Berber music and dancing.

Day 4: Merzouga to Boumalne Dades

After breakfast at the camp, we’ll start our 7-day tour from Casablanca. First, though, you can get up early to see the beautiful sunrise. We’ll start by riding a camel back to where we left off the day before. Once you get to Boumalne Dades, you’ll spend the night. You’ll take the car from there and drive through many beautiful places. A few of the beautiful places you will see are the towns of Rissani, Erfoud, Tinghir, and Tinjedad.

Rissani is the first stop. It is the capital of the Tafilalte area and the place where the Alaouite rule began. Erfoud is the second city, and it grows dates for the whole country. Additionally, Erfoud is home to many small businesses that work on making fossils and selling them inside and outside of Morocco. The other places are Tinjedad and Tinghir. You will see the 300-meter-high Todra Gorges, which are one of the most interesting places in the southeast of Morocco.

Day 5: Boumalne Dades to Marrakech

At the end of our seventh day in the desert, we will go to Marrakech, also known as the “red city.” These places are a little different from the ones we’ve been to before. “A place without noise” is what the city of Ouarzazate means in Berber. The city is also known as Moroccan Ouallywood, and moviemakers and directors from all over the world love to work there. The Atlas offices are located here. This is where movies are made and where they rent out different tools for other movies. Second, as you know, Morocco is famous for its unique kasbahs, and today you will have the chance to see one of the most beautiful ones.

The Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is famous for being built out of a unique type of clay. It is at the very tip of the High Atlas mountains.

Besides that, we will see many more beautiful places on our way from Boumalnes Dades to Marrakech. Using the Teleouat Kasbah, the Tizi Ntichka curves, the Rose Valley, and other places as models. At about 2260 meters above sea level, Tizi Ttichka has one of the best scenic views. From there, you can see the Tichka bends from a different angle.

Day 6: Getting to know Marrakech

On the sixth day of the seven-day tour from Casablanca, we will visit the beautiful city of Marrakech. Luckily, for the first time, the Unique Desert Tour comes with a local guide who will show you around the city in more detail and help you understand it better.

Jamaa El-Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque are two of the places you will visit. You will be going to both of these places at the same time because they are not too far apart. You will also see the Secret Garden, Majorelle Garden, and Menara Garden, all of which are very pretty. The Saadian tombs and the Mellah areas are also there, along with the Bahia Palace.

Day 7: Marrakech to Casablanca

Today is the last day of our 7-day tour from Casablanca. The plan depends on your trip details. If your flight is in the morning, we will drive you straight to the airport. If the trip is in the evening, on the other hand, we would stay in Marrakech longer to see more sights.

Testimonials of the 7-day tour from Casablanca

The best way to see morocco is to:.

Unique Desert Tour had great customer service. First and foremost, everything was perfectly organized, from the pick-up at the hotel to the number of places that were visited based on the time that was available, and so on. Ali, our tour guide, knows a lot about the past of his country and can speak seven languages. He did a great job of telling us about all the places we went. We also got the impression that we were with friends. I think this is the best way to see Morocco outside of the big towns, and it's also a very nice way to get around. We had a great time thanks to Ali and the rest of the Unique Desert Tour team. Really recommend!:)

7-day tour from Casablanca that you'll never forget

We booked a "7-day desert tour from Casablanca," and everything went as planned. Youssef, our guide, met us at our hotel at 8:00 a.m. as planned and took great care of us the whole time we were there. Our professional driver, Youssef, was very nice and did everything he could to make sure our trip to the desert went well. Because of him, we were able to sandboard alone on the sands and take beautiful pictures of ourselves at sunset without having to go on one of the more famous trips. Prices are very fair! You can close your eyes and go there!

Very strongly suggested!

We used Unique Desert Tour to plan a trip to the Moroccan desert this year and had a great time. The trip itself, the help with planning, the ideas for itineraries, the low prices, and all of it were great. Along the way, we saw so many wonderful things, like beautiful scenery and delicious food... We loved learning about Berber culture from Youssef because he knew so much about it. It was amazing to be in the Sahara. We really think you should go on this trip!

Great work by professionals!

Even though we just got out of the desert, I'm already making plans to go back. Thank you very much for our guide Mohammed and driver Youssef. They were wonderful, lovely, and lively, and they made our trip so much fun. There's no doubt that the tour was great, and the English-speaking guide made it even better. We're all happy to have met them. If it is possible, I will be able to tell my friends about them when they want to go to Morocco in the future Hahaha. The tour has beautiful scenery, but we missed the sunset when we stopped in the desert because of the weather. No matter what, we're happy with our trip.

7-day tour from Casablanca highlights overview

There are many beautiful places to see on the 7-day tour from Casablanca to Merzouga and back. That’s why Unique Desert Tour wants to give you a quick rundown of the most important ones.

The first stop on our 7-day Desert tour is Casablanca, which is one of the most important towns in Morocco. Its name at first was Anfa, which is a Berber word. After that, it changed its name to Dar-al-Baida, which means “White House.” Many different nations have left their mark on Casablanca. For a while, this city seemed to have been left behind or ignored. However, in the early 1800s, Casablanca was brought back to life through a series of investments. And let’s not forget its vital position.

The airport at Anfa is one of the biggest in the country, making it a great place to start your trip. Additionally, if you plan your trip to this city well, you will have the chance to see most of Morocco’s sights on the way to Marrakech.

People come to Casablanca to see the Grand Mosque of Hassan 2, which is partly built on the water. It is free to visit and has some of the best art and buildings in Morocco.

Fes, one of the country’s royal towns, is known for keeping its history alive. It is without a doubt one of the most important places in Morocco because it has kept old buildings and monuments in good shape. Bring shoes that are easy to walk in because there are many beautiful things to see.

Among other things, you will see the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the opening to Bab Bou Jeloud, and the beautiful Al Karaouine Mosque. This second university is the oldest in the world, and it was started by a woman named Fatima al-Fihri. It was built as a mosque at first and was a place where students from many countries could get together. The truth is that it was an important part of Moroccan past and one of the best spiritual schools.

We will make sure that you see the many tanneries in the city and see for yourself how the hides are handled. You can guess that we will take you to Choura’s biggest tannery. The place smells a little bad because of the leather, but it’s still worth seeing. You can see how people work with leather and paint things different colors, sometimes with spices. There is one thing for sure: you will take beautiful pictures of Fes, Morocco’s culture capital.

Merzouga, the Sahara desert

The beautiful Merzouga, which is a highlight of many of our trips in Morocco, will definitely take your breath away. Before talking about the best things to see and do in this cute town, it’s best to start by talking about its past and where the name comes from. There are two different ways to explain where the name came from. In the beginning, some say that Merzouga got its name from the Merzoug family, who lived in the desert before tourists did.

Most of the people who live in Merzouga are originally Berber farmers. In other words, most of the people lived in huts at first and raised goats, sheep, and horses to make money.

The second idea says that the name comes from Arabic, since the word Merzouka in Arabic means “rich and prosperous land.”

The Merzouga Desert is a peaceful and quiet place. In the evening, spend a lovely evening riding a camel on the golden, quiet dunes of Erg Chebbi. The next night, spend the night with Berber farmers playing their instruments under the stars. There is also a desert trip you can take if you have enough time. You can rent a buggy or bike at Merzouga.

Marrakech is one of the most visited towns in Morocco and is thought to be the country’s tourist hub. It’s hard not to fall in love with it because it’s so pretty, one-of-a-kind, and has red brick buildings.

The houses there are what give it its name: “Red City.” The colors are bright and happy. The Koutoubia Mosque is the most important mosque in the area, so when you get to Marrakech, you should start your trip there. Bab Agnaou is one of the 19 gates to the city. It was built during the reign of Caliph Almohad Yacube Almanssour. Along with the tombs of the Saadians, there are also the graves of 60 members of the dynasty.

Unified Nations has named Jemaa el-Fna Square an Intangible Cultural Heritage site. It is the kind of place that will draw you in to one of Morocco’s most famous towns. A lot of people will be offering a wide range of things and performing arts. There’s a lot of dancing and singing. Your 7-day tour from Casablanca will cover all of these things and more.

Rabat is the most populous city in Morocco. It is beautiful and full of things to do. Maintaining its culture and building past is something that the city is known for. It also looks to the future and is very up-to-date. Considering how well-kept it is and how nice it feels, it’s not a surprise that it’s one of the most popular tourist spots.

The best native foods in the country can be found in a number of bars and restaurants. Also, it has a lot of theaters, libraries, museums, and other places for culture. These are some of the best things to see in the city: the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Oudaias, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Enjoy a lovely stroll through the Andalusian Gardens, see the Casbah Mausoleum of the Oudaias, and learn more about Mohammed VI.

Meknes is the most beautiful city in Morocco. Aside from its natural beauty, though, the main reason tourists love it is its ancient site. As you might expect, Meknes is known as the “city of a hundred minarets.” It was once a royal capital surrounded by 40 kilometers of walls. When you visit the area, you will see structures and buildings that are thousands of years old and have been carefully preserved, like Bab Mansour, which is one of the most beautiful entrances in the world.

Take a walk around Agdal, a huge lake that looks like a rectangle. The Ethnographic Museum in Dar Jamai Palace is a fascinating place to visit because it has items that show the history and culture of the country.

On our 7-day tour from Casablanca, we will make sure to see the remains of Volubilis, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Place Lahdim. Not to mention the Qara jail, which is one of the most interesting places to visit in Meknes. The jail is set up like a maze that goes down into the ground. People who were locked up inside it never found a way to get out. It’s meant to go from Meknes to Fes. Surprisingly, some stories say that experts went inside to try to find it but got lost.

The lovely little town of Tinghir is full of beautiful views! Tourists are drawn to the city’s big buildings and palm trees, but it’s the natural beauty that really interests them. The most important place is Todra Gorges, which are made up of a line of red rocks and huge palm trees. For people who like to climb, tinghir is a full meal. A river that starts in the spring flows between these caves, which are about 300 meters apart. This place has a great vibe. Here, you’ll find a few small shops that sell leather goods like rugs and djellabas.

Trekking is one of the most popular things to do in these places. It is possible to walk along the Todgha River and see the Gorges du Todgha Pass, which is a huge tunnel. In the valley of Tinghir, there is a nature area full of palm trees that you should check out.

One of the most important towns in Morocco is in the southeast. It has been called the Ouallywood of Morocco, the Sahara Desert Gate, and Ouarzazate. The name was made up of two words at first. The first word is Ouar, which in Berber means “not”; the second word is Zazate, which means “noise.” The word itself sounds like a city or a place where there is no noise.

It is often called “Moroccan Hollywood,” and it has two big movie companies that you can visit: Atlas and CLA Cinema. These studios are quickly attracting big American movies. The low cost of living in Ouarzazate and the sun, which shines for about 300 days a year, are two reasons for its wealth. Not to mention the safety of the country and the happiness and kindness of the Moroccan people. Also, it’s clear that this is one of the strangest and most beautiful deserts in the world.

In addition to the studios, visitors can also see the Cinema Museum and the Taourirt Kasbah in the city itself. The museum, which opened in 2007, was made to protect Ouarzazate’s film history and bring more tourists to the city. The museum is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Skoura is an important stop on the way to Marrakech because it’s where you can start your journey into the desert of Erg Chebbi. Even though it’s not one of the most famous towns in Morocco, it has a lot of great things to see and do. There are beautiful buildings, nice streets, castles, and structures that are sure to amaze. The old castle Kasbah Amridil was built on red ground by Thami El Glaoui.

Erfoud and Rissani

They are the two desert towns you will pass through on your way to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert, whether you are coming from Marrakech or Casablanca. To begin, there is Erfoud, which is the place that is closest to the Merzouga desert. Fans of this city come from all over the world to see its annual fair, which is its main draw. Also, Erfoud is the main city in charge of the Ziz valley, which is Morocco’s biggest source of dates. In addition to times, Erfoud is an important place with a lot of fossils. The area around it is famous for fossil work.

Rissani, the center of Tafilalte, is a city, though. It is well known that this is where the Alaouite family, which currently rules Morocco, got their start. One of Morocco’s oldest traditional souks is in this city. This is where most people who live in the desert buy and sell goods. One odd thing about this city is that it has a special area just for horses. Anyone who is carrying goods by donkey should park in that area.

Atlas mountains

Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia are all in North Africa, and the Atlas Mountains run through all three. These hills are split into three groups: the High Atlas, the Anti Atlas, and the Middle Atlas. A lot of people call these ranges chains, but that’s not really right because there are places where the ranges meet and are called plateaus.

This 7-day tour starts in Casablanca and goes through the Middle Atlas. The city of Irfane is the main stop. Next, on your way back to Marrakech, you’ll go through the High Atlas mountains, not long after you pass Ait Benhaddou’s castle. The highest point in Morocco is Tizi Ntichka, a beautiful road that curves around the mountain. It is the only way to get to the southeast of the country from Marrakech.

Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” Ifrane, is on the way from Fes to the Merzouga desert. In the Middle Atlas Mountains to be exact. Because of its location, it is the coldest city in Morocco, and a lot of Moroccans and people from other countries come to ski. Not only that, but Ifrane’s buildings are built in a very special way. In fact, it tastes like something from Europe.

Because of its unique and good weather, Ifrane is home to a number of important businesses. You could look at Al Akhawain University. It has a good level of education and lets people from all over the world attend. There is also Lmaamoura, a house where the national soccer team trains a lot. Ifrane is also home to the Atlas Lion Statue, which was made by a German prisoner and is one of Morocco’s most famous landmarks. You can find out where this figure came from by going back to when France ruled Morocco.

A lot of people were being held because France was building a military base in Ifrane at the time. One of these prisoners was from Germany, and the story goes that France offered to set him free if he did something strange and new. So, he carved the figure of the Atlas lion.

Ait Benhaddou, the most unique village in the 7 days tour from Casablanca

A defense-walled town on top of a hill, At-Ben-Haddou has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around the town is the river Ounila, and you have to cross a bridge to get to the settlement. Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, The Bible, Cleopatra, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander, and Game of Thrones are just some of the movies and TV shows that At-Ben-Haddou has been in.

Soap opera fans will also enjoy “The Clone,” which aired on Rede Globo from 2001 to 2002 and had scenes shot in At-Ben-Haddou, the Marrakech market, the cistern of the Portuguese city of El Jadida, and Fes’s ancient medina.

All of these places in Morocco have been named World Heritage Sites and are great places to see. Because it is part of the community, there are no fees to enter the Kasbah of At-Ben-Haddou. Basically, you’ll go up through an alley and over the whole town to the top, where you can see the whole area. You’ll see clay homes, shops, and a number of artists along the way.

DAY DESERT TOURS !

Barak or Mubarak, I’m a Moroccan man from the village of Merzouga, I was born and raised in the Desert. I worked in the tourism domain before as a guide and hotel receptionist. I started to assist tourists in the area and show them the most fabulous places around the desert of Merzouga. After a few years, I started to work as a receptionist in a hotel in the desert…

This domain helped me to meet new people and make new friends all over the world offering them tours and guiding them around Morocco as a private guide and group tour guide.

After a long experience in this domain, the idea of creating Day Desert Tours is to offer more services to our customers and Morocco visitors…

What Our Clients say

Tours Tripadvisor

We recently back to our country after a great Marrakech to Fes desert tour in Morocco. We have picked up Day Desert Tours for traveling in Morocco after we contacted Barak who gave us so many helpful ideas. We met our driver Iddress who made us feel so special with his friendly and hospitality. We visited the high Atlas mountains- Ait Benhaddou kasbah with lunch there. We didn’t miss the second day adventure in Sahara dunes where we went for a camel ride and slept inside Khaima. Absolutely amazing trip and never had that before. Everyone was so friendly and amazing. After our trip! We went to spain and went back home. We will keep our tour memories with us forever and photos with our friends in Morocco. I strongly recommend Multi Day Trips for Morocco visitors… .

Outstanding Location:

Casablanca: In Arabic, the city is called Dar el Baida which means “white house”. That’s what the Portuguese called the city when they came here in the 16th century: Casa Branca. In the 18th century, Spain took over the concession and renamed it Casablanca.

Casablanca, the rapidly growing economic capital, but also an international metropolis whose development is inextricably linked to port activities, now occupies an important place in the business world. The foundation of this city dates back to the 10th century BC. The town’s first inhabitants were Berber fishermen. Hundreds of years later, the Phoenicians turned it into a port, stopping on the way to Essaouira. Afterward, the Romans settled here.

From the 12th century, historians talk about the port of Anfa, which was a magnet for travelers from the neighboring regions. Via Anfa the population came into contact with Europe and the surpluses of grain, wool, beeswax, and oil production could be exported. Of course, only souvenirs from the past were kept, but today Casablanca is the model for the entire kingdom, which is rapidly progressing on the way of progress and modernism.

Casablanca’s old medina: Once you are in the old walled city, everything is self-explanatory. The town is small enough not to get lost, the streets are relatively wide, and the merchants are generally not pushy. If you haven’t come to the market for textiles or spices, then meander through the tempting food stalls.

Hassan II Mosque:   The most visited highlight of Casablanca is the Hassan II Mosque with its large minaret of 200 meters high. You cannot miss this mosque, located on the Atlantic coast of Casa. The Hassan II Mosque dominates the skyline of sea and land, day and night when illuminated by a laser beam. The Mega Mosque, as it is called, is one of the largest mosques in the world: the prayer hall is the size of four football fields and 80,000 worshipers can easily find a seat on the esplanade outside. The architect Michel Pinseau is French. Thousands of Moroccan craftsmen created the impressive details of this monument that imposes spirituality on the bustling trading city.

Ain Diab: The other side of the big city life is beyond the harbor, the old medina, and the huge new mosque in the suburb of Ain Diab. The coastal road leads to a series of luxury hotels, clubs, and oceanfront resorts. This is where the residents of Casablanca go in summer to escape the heat.

The colonial city: When the French landed in Casablanca in 1907, there were barely 20,000 people living there. The spacious colonial city that they built is intersected by stately boulevards and has the Place des Nations Unies as its center. A large ensemble of public buildings combines European and Moorish elements in a style called Mauresque. The builders could not resist the temptation to crown the city hall with its arcades with a bell tower, which would look better on a station.

1 Day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca Itinerary

You can start your day by having some croissants and coffee at Parc de La Ligue Arabe. There are plenty of cafes that you can choose from in this garden. You will definitely enjoy the view thereof its avenues are lined with Ficus, pergolas, flower beds, arcades, and palm trees that are really tall.

The journey heads north towards the old medina. You will be moving through the focal points of the new town in Casa called Ville Nouvelle. These points of interest are Place Des Nations Unions and Place Mohammed V with its French architecture where Moorish design complements it beautifully. In the United Nations Square , you can enjoy the monumental fountain.

The next interesting place is the art deco district. There are the popular famous clock towers, Moretti’s eleven-story apartment block, the tall Art Deco buildings, and Art Deco hotels. You will then visit the residential blocks that are famous in this city: Asayag, Bessonneau, and Glaoui. You can also go to the Avenue des Forces Royal. This is a commercial area that will lead you to the old medina. You will see the craftsmen and jewelers. Later, you will visit a shrine nearby where the tomb of Sidi Allal El-Kairouan is located.

You will then have lunch in Corniche then visit the Mosque of Hassan II. This building ranks the biggest mosque in Africa and is the 7th largest in the world. The mosque is open to everyone, including non-Muslims

After the Mosque Tour, you can now proceed to the new Medina or better known as Ville Nouvelle. You can shop there for an hour if you wish as we have enough time.

You will end your day and your tour also in the Parc de la Ligue Arabe. This is the largest public park in the city previously known as Lyautev. At the edge of this site is the Church of the Sacred Heart. Later becoming a cultural center open to visitors, it is a beautiful view that captures the Mauresque architecture. There we are at the end of your Casablanca journey. We drive back to Marrakesh and drop you off at your accommodation.

Discovering morocco: a luxurious journey through casablanca, tangier, chefchaouen, and marrakech.

  • June 23, 2024

From the bustling city of Casablanca to the serene blue alleys of Chefchaouen, each day offered a unique blend of experiences, luxurious accommodations, and unforgettable culinary delights. Here are the highlights from our incredible Moroccan adventure.

Day 1: A warm welcome in Casablanca

Casablanca greeted us with its warm charm as soon as we touched down at Mohammed V International Airport. Our first stop was a luxurious hotel, where we indulged in a sumptuous lunch featuring traditional Moroccan dishes.

After a delightful meal, we enjoyed swimming sessions, Moroccan Hamam, and a revitalising body scrub that left us refreshed for the evening ahead. Then, a delightful dinner cocktail set the perfect tone for the days to come.

Day 2: Exploring Tangier

A scenic journey took us to Tangier, a captivating city where old-world charm meets modernity.

One of the highlights was visiting The Lighthouse, which offers panoramic views of the meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner at a local restaurant later that day was a gastronomic delight and the perfect way to end the day.

Day 3: The Blue City of Chefchaouen

Later in the day, at a club, the nightlife in Morocco came alive. A live band, performers, and entertainers created a convivial atmosphere, complemented by exquisite food.

The journey back to Casablanca included a visit to Morocco Mall, a shopping heaven. A quick dinner at a restaurant in Casablanca gave us our final taste of Moroccan cuisine before heading to Mohammed V Airport for our flight back to Lagos.

This trip was more than just a journey; it was an exploration of Morocco’s heart and soul. Every moment captured Morocco’s allure, leaving us with memories that will linger long after our return.
