Crank Revolution continues to be my go-to bike shop. They are very knowledgeable about their products, and always have what I need at reasonable prices. Their service department is top notch - excellent service with rapid turnaround times. In fact, they have always been early when I've left my bike with them for a repair or tune up.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Crank Revolution yet. I've been going there since the day they opened. Mostly, I've gone for minor repairs but have also picked up a few accessories there too. Because of COVID, their selection of new bikes is low, but that is the case just about everywhere. They have a decent selection of higher-end components, tires, tubes, pumps, bike carriers for cars, and more. And, they require masks to enter the shop and limit the number of people who can be in at any one time. They are among the most knowledgeable folks I've met who own bicycle shops. They are also excellent mechanics who charge fair rates. They are friendly and willing to show you what they are doing. I also understand they will offer bicycle repair workshops over the winter, something I hope I'll be able to take advantage of.

Took my son's bike to Crank Revolution for a tune up and minor repairs. The cost was very reasonable. The amount of time to complete the repair was great. The customer service you got from here is EXCELLENT!! Definitely recommend this place.

Old school shop that both knows their stuff and makes you feel like you're a part of their family. I've been looking for a shop like this since my old favorite was sold a few years ago. There are a few really competent bike shops that are closer for me, but I never had a feeling that I was building a relationship that would lead them to have my back in a pinch. Crank Revolution totally helped me out in a pinch, when I really wasn't expecting it - and I wasn't even a customer. I fully am now.

Walked in shortly after they opened for the day. Was immediately greeted and tire was examined, problem discussed, price quoted, problem fixed and I was out the door in about 20 minutes. Great shop, highly recommend!

I've been having a lot of problems with the eTap on my bike after buying it from a cycling friend and more so after a fellow cyclist fell into me when we were stopped for traffic. I live in Georgia and I've had the bike looked at three times, 2 times by the same shop and another time by a cycling friend. I was always told that the issue was fixed, but found out on a ride after the 'fix' that the issue wasn't fixed. I finally decided to have Crank look at the bike to determine what was wrong and they fixed it. I went for a 30 mile ride with the group and finally felt that I was riding with a solid bike. I didn't have any issues at all!!! Thank you Crank!!! I drove over 700 miles to get my bike fixed . Actually I spend a month with my parents every year, this years visit came with a big bonus!! Thanks again y'all.

I purchased an unassembled bicycle elsewhere and needed it assembled. I live about the same distance from two other bike shops, but when I called Crank Revolution to inquire about pricing, they were the friendliest over the phone, so I took my box of parts here. They were fast! My bike was ready in 3 days, and they charged me a very reasonable price.. When I went to pick it up, one of the owners, Jeremy, patiently went over features of my bike with me. Honestly, they are so nice here. Please give them your business.

Top notch service & support. I haven't purchased a bike from them yet, but they are my go to shop for tuneups & repairs. Often, if a repair is trivial, they will take care of it with no charge. Pre-covid, they offered great weekly repair & maintenance clinics. Hope they're able to start those again soon.

My husband had a problem with his Trek bike tire making a loud noise when coasting. He had it in several times to another bike shop and they were unable to diagnose or fix the problem. After seeing great reviews we decided to try Crank Revolution for our repair. They immediately diagnosed the problem and it was fixed the next day . The price was reasonable too. My husband is thrilled with his bike. He said it handles better than ever and seems to be much faster too which is important since he's doing a 235 mile bike ride next weekend .

Found my new bike shop! Wait time for service at my normal bike shop was a month, so I tried out Crank Revolution. Needed new tubes, tires, spoke repair and full tune-up. Mark explained everything they would do and said it would take 2-3 days! Picked up the bike on day 3, and after riding 30 miles took it back over for a minor "squeak". Instead of trying to blame me or tell me I didn't know what I was talking about, TC put it up on the rack, tested it, explain the issue to me and resolved it in minutes. He had me test ride it to make sure it was right, and it was great! TC and Mark said to come back again if there is anything else I had questions on. Excellent customer focus!

Sergei Ryakhovsky (Sergei Vasilyevich Ryakhovsky) a Soviet-Russian serial killer known as the Balashikha Ripper and The Hippopotamus. Ryakhovsky was convicted for the killing of nineteen people in the Moscow area between 1988 and 1993. Ryakhovsky's mainly stabbed or strangulated his victims, he mutilated some bodies, mainly in the genital area. Allegedly Ryakhovsky carried out necrophilic acts on his victims and stole their belongings. Ryakhovsky standing 6’5" tall and weighting 286 pounds, gaining him the nickname, The Hippo. Sergei Ryakhovsky died on January 21st 2005 from untreated tuberculosis while serving his life sentence in prison.

The Unique Burial of a Child of Early Scythian Time at the Cemetery of Saryg-Bulun (Tuva)

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.
