Spend 45 minutes travelling along the Niagara River on a thrilling Jet Boat learning about history and navigating through Class 5 white water rapids! There is a pilot and a guide to ensure that you have a safe and fun adventure!

A full (100%) refund will be provided by ToNiagara for any cancellation request received at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Any cancellation done within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time will receive NO REFUND.

Take the Whirlpool Wet Jet tour where you do the same tour but in a boat with an open-top, you will need a change of clothing!

There is no age limit, though there is a height limit (you must be at least 40 inches tall or 3 feet 4 inches). You must be of good health, free of heart, neck or back issues and not pregnant.

Seating is first come, first served and cannot be reserved. Young children (under 10 must sit towards the back of the bus)

There are private changing rooms available for use before and after your ride.  All Jet boat locations offer food and beverage service for your convenience so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Niagara River before or after your Jet Boat ride.

Our Jet boat tour has allowed over two million guests to enjoy the power and beauty of Niagara’s class 5 whitewater rapids. Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour

You will be absolutely soaked, so please bring a full change of clothes (undergarments too!) Passengers must be at least 44″ (112cm) tall. This is your average 6-year-old. You may bring glasses, sunglasses, a hat and a waterproof camera on board. Putting a camera in a plastic bag does not make it waterproof. We will provide all necessary gear to keep you as comfortable as possible, including a certified life jacket. We have splash sandals available for purchase in our River Shop. If you would like to wear your own shoes or sandals, please ensure that the sandals have a strap that wraps around the back of your ankle. As the weather dictates, we will also provide ponchos, splash suits and sweaters. We have sizes to fit most people.

Whirlpool Jet DRY Freedom Jet Tour

Our DRY Freedom Jet tour is the perfect alternative for those on a tight schedule, who don’t want to get wet or who are traveling with children between the ages of 4-6. The Freedom Jet follows the exact same route as the Wet Jet tour but keeps our passengers dry!

Passengers must be at least 40″ (102cm) tall. This is your average 4-year-old. You may bring a camera on board, but please remember that there is minimal storage on our jet boats. We will provide a certified life jacket which is mandatory for this tour. The glass dome that encloses the vessel keeps you from getting wet, so feel free to bring a camera or cellphone to record the experience!

You must arrive on site at least 45 minutes prior to departure time.

Reservations are necessary and our tours depart rain or shine. We have never cancelled a tour due to inclement weather.

Anyone under the age of 16 must ride with an adult 18 or older.

All passengers must be able to support their own weight with their arms while seated.

Expectant mothers are not permitted on our tours and we do not recommend this tour for persons with a history of heart, neck or back problems.

This time difference is because of the locations' proximity to the Niagara Gorge. All 3 departures spend the same amount of time in the rapids!

From either departure point, we travel upriver (south) and into the Niagara Gorge. Once in the gorge, 175 ft walls ascend from above the water line. The boat makes its way into the famous whirlpool and then we head back on down (north) through Devil's Hole Rapids. You return to the same location from which you boarded as our tour is a round trip excursion.

There are 8 boats in the fleet. The Jet Dome holds 40 passengers. The Wet Jet boats hold 48 passengers each and two hold 54 passengers.

A Printed voucher of your booking confirmation should be presented to Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours staff upon arrival.
