Rapper Travis Scott has recently released his highly-anticipated album 'Utopia', and also announced a worldwide tour to go along with it!

The artist revealed on Instagram that he will be going on a tour, and is currently performing across the US, and has just revealed he is taking the UTOPIA - Circus Maximus Tour to the UK & Europe with his largest U.K. headline show to date at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Scott’s tour sold out the first day, and he announced 11 new dates on Sept. 1, including second stops in Dallas, Miami, Phoenix, Austin, Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, and more. Officially dubbed as “Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus,” Scott kicks off his new tour in support of his new album on October at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it runs through the fall and winter with dates scheduled in Dallas, Texas, Chicago, and Vegas. It marks Scott’s first headlining run since 2021’s Astroworld Fest tragedy , which left 10 dead and hundreds injured. As of publication, Houston is still not listed on the tour schedule .

Travis Scott Announces Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour

Inspired by his record-breaking No.1 album UTOPIA, Travis Scott’s UTOPIA – Circus Maximus Tour will transport fans into an unparalleled audiovisual experience. The tour will include Travis Scott’s largest headline show to date with a show at SoFi Stadium on November 5, 2023.

$2 from every ticket sold will go to Cactus Jack Foundation which is a 501(c)3 with a mission to uplift Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.

The announcement follows on the heels of Travis Scott’s electrifying live performance at the iconic Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy, which sold out 60,000 tickets in just 2 days.

UTOPIA has been deemed the biggest hip-hop release of 2023, holding strong at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200 for four weeks running, and garnering over 1.5 billion streams globally. Additionally, Spotify named UTOPIA the most streamed album in its first week in 2023, and Apple Music confirmed the biggest first day streams of an album in 2023.

Travis Scott has revealed the dates and venues for his North American trek in support of his latest chart-topping album “ Utopia .”

Dubbed the “ Circus Maximus ” tour, Scott will play his first show in Charlotte on Oct. 11 and will continue through North America, ending with a Dec. 29 stop in Toronto. The tour will also include Scott’s largest headline show to date in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

This will be his first official tour since the “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour” in 2018. See the complete lineup of dates below.

“Utopia” debuted on the Billboard 200 this week with towering streaming numbers that easily launched the star-laden set to No. 1. The set is his first since 2018’s “Astroworld,” and this tour will be his first since the Astroworld Festival tragedy left 10 people dead and more than 100 others injured in a crowd crush in November 2021.

He was expected to have an album release party in Egypt, though that was abruptly canceled and moved to a new venue in Rome where he performed “Utopia” for the first time. According to Live Nation, that event sold out 60,000 tickets in just two days.

During the Circus Maximus show, Scott brought out Kanye West for a performance of West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Praise God.” He also paid tribute to West by saying, “There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West.”

Travis Scott Officially Announces 2023 Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour

Travis Scott has announced a 2023 North American tour. Dubbed the Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour, the trek will take place this fall, beginning in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 11 and ending on December 29 in Toronto, Ontario. These dates vary from the ones Live Nation leaked earlier this month before deleting its social media post and ticket pages for the tour. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time. Scott had initially planned a concert in Houston, but that date does not appear in the itinerary. A spokesperson for the city’s mayor told Rolling Stone that “at one point” the show had been planned and the mayor’s office communicated with Toyota Center to coordinate a safety plan. The fate of that show is unclear.

A spokesperson for the mayor told Rolling Stone Tuesday that “at one point” both the Toyota Center and Live Nation had notified the City of Houston that Scott planned to perform in the city. “Our public safety leaders and special events subject matter experts decided to communicate with the Toyota Center and coordinate on a safety plan,” the spokesperson said. Sylvester Turner originally said earlier this month that Scott had “booked the Toyota Center for a concert in October.”

A spokesperson for the mayor told Rolling Stone Tuesday that “at one point” both the Toyota Center and Live Nation had notified the City of Houston that Scott planned to perform in the city. “Our public safety leaders and special events subject matter experts decided to communicate with the Toyota Center and coordinate on a safety plan,” the spokesperson said.

At the start of August, Scott performed at Rome’s Circus Maximus , doing several Utopia songs and hosting a surprise appearance from Kanye West. His show caused the ground to shake so much that locals feared there was an earthquake , causing calls for a concert ban at the historic venue in the future.

The Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour will be the rapper’s first headlining tour since the 2021 Astroworld Festival tragedy , which resulted in 10 deaths and countless injuries. In late July, the Houston Police Department shared an extensive report on the event, in which Scott recalled being told through his earpiece, “You got to wrap it up, it’s getting kinda hectic out there.” He claimed that he was not made aware of the gravity of the situation until later.

Prior to the police report, a Harris County grand jury determined that Scott will not be criminally charged for the event’s happenings. Both Scott and Live Nation still face several civil lawsuits relating to Astroworld, although a few have already been settled .

Two years after his tragic Astroworld incident, the 32-year-old rapper will tour arenas and stadiums all over North America this fall as part of his 28-concert ‘Utopia Presents Circus Maximus Tour.’

From special guests such as Stormi to throwback hits including "90210," here are the highlights of his SoFi Stadium concert.

“I thought we were going to utopia?”

“What makes you say this isn’t utopia?”

“I mean, I don’t know, isn’t it supposed to be some perfect destination?”

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., was the perfect destination for Travis Scott to make history Sunday (Nov. 5) during his latest Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour stop. But the multi-sensory experience — replete with flames spontaneously flying up from his rock-hewn stage design and heating up the entire 70,000-capacity stadium as well as an infinite amount of sweaty mosh pits — transported fans to the wonderful world of utopia he gradually built over the years.

Scott’s current tour is an on-going celebration of his latest album, Utopia , which he released on July 28 via his own label, Cactus Jack, and Epic Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 496,000 equivalent album units, capturing the largest week for any R&B/hip-hop or rap album in 2023; it remained atop the chart for four weeks. All 19 songs on the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 , pushing Scott’s total from 93 to 111 total charted songs in his career, thus making the rapper the 15th artist in the chart’s 65-year history to log 100-plus career entries on the survey.

But that’s not the only history Scott’s made lately: His SoFi stop marks his biggest headline show to date and makes him the first rapper to play and sell out the stadium. “I never thought of this dream coming true. … This night has given me beyond chills,” he reflected with his ravenous fans before performing his 2016 hit “Goosebumps” from his sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight .

But Scott didn’t savor his victory lap by himself, as tour opener Teezo Touchdown and Playboi Carti joined him onstage to perform their Utopia collaborations. Meanwhile, the rapper’s 5-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, made a cute cameo.

Stadium Mosh Pits Hit Different

Before the show started, tens of thousands of fans were stirring at the recorded sound of crickets. But around 9:52 p.m., a robotic female voice began preparing them for Scott’s rowdy arrival. “Greetings from Utopia. Before the show starts, open that s–t up,” she politely instructed before exhilarating chaos ensued for the next hour. The mosh pits ebbed and flowed like waves crashing in the ocean, concertgoers’ white phone lights indicating the tide.

“I’m nothing without my fans. … Thanks for making me the first rapper to sell out SoFi Stadium,” he marveled.

Moshing to their hearts’ delight was fans’ reward for sending Scott to the upper echelon of concert venues, and it was well-earned.

He Performed "Mamacita" & More Fan-Favorite Tracks From the Past

Utopia took center stage, but it wouldn’t be lit at the night show if he didn’t pull out the classics. Scott took it as far back as “Mamacita” from his 2014 sophomore mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, and “90210” from his 2015 debut studio album, Rodeo , while “Goosebumps” became the unexpected, electrifying finale.

Scott told the crowd “I never abided by curfews” shortly before all of the lights in SoFi Stadium abruptly turned on around 11:08 p.m., signaling everyone to go home and soundtracking their exit with “Telekinesis.”

Scott Shared a Not-So-Typical Father-Daughter Dance With Stormi

It was a family affair when Scott’s firstborn child, Stormi, joined him in the baby-shaped parasail during his performance of “Mafia,” the single he released exactly two years ago along with “Escape Plan.” While the father-daughter duo was safely harnessed in the floating structure, he held her hand the whole time for extra protection. But she grew comfortable enough before the ride was over to bop along with her noise-reduction headphones. The sweet moment felt reminiscent of the time Stormi’s mother, Kylie Jenner, joined him in the roller coaster cart during his NYC Astroworld Tour stop at Madison Square Garden five years ago.

He Brought Out Playboi Carti for "Fe!n"

Scott restarted “Fe!n” to bring out the song’s sequestered guest, Playboi Carti, for the show’s most riveting moment. After smoking and flicking a cigarette in one fell swoop, the Die Lit rapper casually performed his verse from a crouched position while sending fans into a frenzy at his feet. But Carti wasn’t too cool to get caught up in the hype. Carti and Scott’s unmatched synergy, as seen in their belligerent head bobbing and heard in their maniacal, ear-piercing screeches, made the former Scott’s prime stage partner in crime.

Scott came in strong during the show’s second half, when the rapper — with the help of his longtime DJ Chase B — executed a flawless transition between “No Bystanders” and “Fe!n.” He pulled out all the stops for both party anthems, from flashing white and red strobe lights creating an eye-catching experience to SoFi Stadium’s video board transforming into vintage TV screens that projected real-time videos of fans. But Scott pulled out his Hot 100 No. 1 smash “Sicko Mode” (sans Drake) to keep the party going, sustaining his own and fans’ frenetic momentum and making his L.A. stop a night to not just remember, but wish to relive.

Travis Scott's 2023 tour setlist: Every song he played at his Phoenix concert

Travis Scott promised to "transport fans into an unparalleled audiovisual experience" in support of “Utopia,” which has been deemed the biggest hip-hop album of the year.

And the set went heavy on that new release in the first of two sold-out performances at Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Wednesday, Oct. 25, with 13 songs from “Utopia" making the setlist, including the singles “Delresto (Echoes),” “Meltdown” and “I Know?”

He also reached back to his “Days Before Rodeo” mixtape for “Mamacita” in the course of a 26-song set that featured such career-defining hits as “Antidote,” “Goosebumps,” “Butterfly Effect” and “Sicko Mode.”

This is Travis Scott's most successful tour to date, preceded by him playing to a crowd of 60,000 at Circus Maximus in Rome.

The tour is inspired by Scott's record-breaking album UPTOPIA . The album has been deemed the biggest hip-hop release of 2023, with 500,000 albums sold in its first week and over 650 million streams globally, the news release stated.

Rapper Travis Scott has released “Utopia,” his first album in five years and his first major release since 10 people died at his 2021 Astroworld music festival.

The star-studded 19-track “Utopia” features Beyoncé, SZA, Drake, Sampha, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Future, Bon Iver, James Blake, Kid Cudi, 21 Savage, and many more.

The LP, Scott's fourth full-length, was originally announced back in 2020 and follows 2018’s “Astroworld.” In November 2019, 10 people died as a result of compression asphyxia during a massive crowd surge during Scott's Astroworld festival. A grand jury declined to file charges against Scott earlier this year.

Also Friday, Houston police released files that showed that some workers were concerned about the crowd conditions at the show. The 1,300-page report also included a summary of an interview with Scott in which he said he did not hear calls from the crowd to stop the show.

The first track from the album, the popetón -adjacent “K-pop”, was released on July 21 and features the Weeknd and Bad Bunny. The release spans genres — an eclectic mix of autotune ambient ballads (“My Eyes”), ferocious bars ("Looove"), futuristic trap ("Lost Forever," Telekinesis"), and beyond.

In addition to the album, Scott hosted a one-night-only release of his feature film, “Circus Maximus” at select theaters on Thursday night.

PLEASE LEAVE PETS AT HOME !  LOCALTOPIA has NOT been a pet-friendly event since 2016 due to large crowds. Please DO NOT bring your furry friends ! We want to ensure that they (and our human friends) stay safe.  Thank you for your cooperation!    

IS LOCALTOPIA ECO-FRIENDLY?

Every year we try to make our festival as sustainable as possible! As of our 2018 festival. we’ve eliminated single-use plastics & Styrofoam at the event! Not only are vendors committed to eliminating plastic, we’ve also gone one step further. KSPL does a bulk-buy of compostable items for vendors to use.

Our partnership with the City of St. Petersburg’s Sustainability & Resiliency Manager and the  Suncoast Surfrider Foundation , allows us to incorporate more sustainable resources & initiatives .

IS THE FESTIVAL ACCESSIBLE FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?

Yes, but please note that the event is always well-attended. Disabled parking spots will be available on the corner of 2nd Avenue North and 4th Street (in front of the Cathedral Church of St. Peter). Please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

WILL THERE BE ATMS AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. There will be several ATMs within the festival’s footprint. Alcohol, water and merchandise purchases at KSPL’s “Local Thirst Stations” and Welcome Center will be CASH ONLY. For 2024 we are trialing purchases with credit cards at these two locations ONLY: DRAFT BEER CENTRAL  and the “Double Thirst Station” in front of St. Pete First United Methodist Church (corners of 2nd Avenue and 3rd St North) . Most vendors will be able to take cards.

You may bring blankets to sit on the grass at Williams Park, but NO CHAIRS . There will also be tables inside the Park, nearest the Food Truck Rally Alley on 4th Street, plus you can sit on the ledge near the trucks. Benches are also dotted around the Park. High top (standing) tables can be found along 2nd Avenue between 2nd and 4th Streets North.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED?

Please leave the following items at home:

• Business cards/flyers/promotional materials if you are not an authorized vendor – no distribution of aforementioned material or solicitation is allowed
• Weapons, illicit drugs and other contraband

Travis Kelce recalls the moment he started to ‘really fall’ for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce recalled the moment he started to fall for  his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift .

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end admired Swift for being “very self-aware” during an appearance on the Monday episode of the  “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast .

“I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around just like friends, family,” he explained.

“It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool,” he added.

Kelce recalled the first game Swift attended last NFL season on Sept. 24.

“I was like, ‘OK, so I could probably set you up with everything,’ and she just walked right through the front door. There’s no going down talking to security,” Kelce said. “She’s just like, ‘I just want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.’”

He added the singer got major points with him for that.

“I was like damn, she’s just f------ in the madness, man. She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me and do things like that. ... Man, she really won me over with that,” he continued.

Kelce added that the pair tried to keep their relationship private.

“Nobody knew what was going on, really all over the place,” he said. “We kind of kept it between us as much as we could, but once she came to a game, obviously, it was all poppin’ from there.”

The pair have had a whirlwind romance with big life moments they’ve shared together, including a Super Bowl win for Kelce in February and multiple successful international shows on Swift’s “Eras Tour.”

Kelce described trying to keep their relationship between them, but also wanting to be proud of his girlfriend.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” he said. “That’s my girl.”

“That’s my lady,” he added. “It’s like, I’m proud of that. I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline,” he said.

Kelce most recently joined Swift onstage for his own “Eras Tour” debut in London on Sunday, when he sported a black-and-white suit and top hat and carried her during his surprise appearance.

“Dude, the concerts are electric,” Kelce said of Swift’s shows. “They’re electric, and she just switched it up. She just came out with  the new album , so she kind of  incorporated that into the new show .”

“She’s having fun up there —  I can enjoy seeing her in her element , killing it onstage, and I love the show, man,” he added. “She’s got bangers.”

Kelce then gave his ranking of his top three favorite songs. The NFL star said he first started listening to Swift’s music when  her album “1989”  came out in 2014.

“I knew who she was before that. We were the same age, so through high school and everything, I knew who Taylor was as she was getting her career started,” he said. “But I think ‘1989’ was where it really started.”

Kelce then declared  “Blank Space” as his top pick  because it was “the first one.”

“I’ll go No. 2 — ‘Cruel Summer.’ ‘Cruel Summer’ is one of the ones she opens with at her show,” he said. “When she comes out and it’s just f------ electric in the stadium, and then she goes into an absolute banger like that. I was fired up when that happened at the first show I was ever at.”

Kelce’s third pick was  “So High School.”

“I think ‘So High School,’ it’s got a little bit of a sentimental meaning,” he said, before quoting some of  the lyrics that are rumored to be about him . “You know what I’m saying? ‘You know how to ball/ I know Aristotle,’ man.”

His latest album, Utopia , quickly rose to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart following its release. Scott’s longtime collaboration with the Air Jordan brand is going strong, with his Low Golf’ Neutral Olive’ sneakers gaining traction with sneakerheads nationwide. He also declared his intentions to executive produce the Blade remake movie soundtrack. But his Utopia: Circus Maximus Tour has supporters locked in from the official merch , opening act , and, of course, Scott’s theatric closing performance. So, how long is Scott’s Utopia Tour concert?

According to Setlist.fm , the show’s schedule seems to be consistent from city to city. Since the Utopia: Circus Maximus Tour kicked off on October 11 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, doors for each venue have opened at 7 p.m. local time. Ticketholders are given approximately an hour and thirty minutes to arrive at the facility and shop at the gift shop before Scott’s billed supporter, Teezo Touchdown, takes the stage between 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. local time.

Then, there is a brief intermission after Teezo finishes his performance. So far, Scott has begun his set at 9:30 p.m. local time. The running time for Scott’s performance is an hour and thirty minutes, give or take. Scott’s setlist includes “Thank God,” “Highest In The Room,” “Mamacita,” “Sicko Mode,” and more.
