We’re sorry this long-awaited show can’t be performed at Brixton as planned, and we know that some of you will have been moved from standing tickets to seats as part of the change of venue.

It is an important safety requirement that guests only use the seats they have been allocated.

Limp Bizkit have just announced their biggest-ever UK show

Limp Bizkit will be playing a massive headline date at London’s Gunnersbury Park this summer, with special guests Pendulum, plus KennyHoopla, Joey Valence & Brae and Deijuvhs.

They’re already in London this evening (April 17) headlining the massive OVO Arena Wembley, but Limp Bizkit are coming back in the summer for an even bigger show.

The nu-metal legends have just announced a spectacular gig at Gunnersbury Park, with special guests Pendulum and an epic supporting cast of KennyHoopla , Joey Valence & Brae and Deijuvhs. It’ll take place on Sunday, August 13, and will officially be the band’s biggest headline date ever in the UK!

“This will be the greatest show of all time!” say Joey and Brae in a short but incredibly accurate statement, while Deijuvhs adds: “Biggest show of my career and I get to play on same stage as the G.O.A.T.S Limp Bizkit. Gassed.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10am.

Bizkit have also announced a Halifax show at The Piece Hall on Saturday, August 12.

Limp Bizkit have announced two fresh huge UK headline shows this year.

Following a triumphant show at London Wembley OVO Arena, the nu-metal rockers - made up of Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers and DJ Lethal - will play Halifax's The Piece Hall on Saturday 12th August and London's Gunnersbury Park on Sunday 13th August 2023.

Joining them on the line-up are special guests Pendulum (London only), KennyHoopla, Joey Valence & Brae and Deijuvhs (London only).

Limp Bizkit announce rescheduled UK and European tour

Limp Bizkit have announced a UK and European headline tour for 2023 – tickets are available here .

The Fred Durst-fronted band were initially set to return to the UK this September for a run of dates , including a two-night billing at the O2 Academy Brixton in London. However, those gigs were ultimately postponed due to Durst’s “personal health concerns” .

Over the summer, Limp Bizkit told their fans that the frontman had been advised to take an “immediate break from touring” on medical grounds, and said the dates would be rescheduled.

Now, it’s been confirmed that the group will hit the road next March. Following two concerts in Germany, Limp Bizkit are due to make stop-offs in Vienna, Prague, Frankfurt and Tilburg before visiting Manchester on April 12.

The band are then scheduled to play in Birmingham (April 13) ahead of two gigs at London’s O2 Brixton Academy (16,17).

Wargasm and Blackgold will appear as “special guest” openers at next year’s shows.

Limp Bizkit Call It What It Is With Their ‘Loserville’ Tour

Limp Bizkit invite you to Loserville. On Tuesday, the Fred Durst-fronted band announced the dates for their 2024 Loserville summer tour, which will see the group hitting amphitheaters next summer.

The group will start their 24-date run in Wisconsin, before stopping in cities such as Toronto, Charlotte, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City, before concluding their run of shows in San Bernardino, California on Aug. 24.

The tour will feature Bones (comprising Eddy Baker and Xavier Wulf), N8NOFACE, and Corey Feldman as openers during the tour. Riff Raff will serve as Loserville’s MC.

“Come lose with us,” the group wrote on Instagram.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. local time, while presale tickets will be made available on Dec. 7.

Just saw at gunnersbury park London they were incredible want to book more tickets immediately was right at front great views of Fred and Wes pendulum also amazing

Even though many say the Rap/Rock era of the mid to late 90’s was music of the muscle-head uncultured swine leading to believe it’s pseudo empowering awareness of a cross genre sound to really be superficial & misogynistic in it’s execution. I disagree & that is all depending on the individual. I also believe there are many musicians in that genre that haven’t gotten full credit for their musical talent.

One such band is Limp Bizkit. I had the pleasure to see them again in Saarbrücken on 13th of July. I saw them before in Frankfurt a few months ago & had such a great time that I couldn’t resist to see them again in an open air venue.

The weather brought an extra bonus to what was already to a fun & exciting event. They played the notable favorite songs in their catalog & as well as a brand new song from the upcoming album.

Their fan/audience interaction is nothing short but icing on the cake. Bringing on stage a young fan to experience a once in a life time up close & personal moment & to have another fan take the mic & letting him sing lead vocals on a song.

All this including a stellar performance. If you had to force me at gun point to try to find a flaw in the show. I would have to say I wish they would play some songs from their over looked album ‘The Unquestionable Truth’ I would of die if they played the song ‘The Story’ (in my opinion their best album. I recommend to give it a listen to if your a fan of Nu-Metal).

So even if your a So-So fan of Limp Bizkit check them out live you’ll enjoy it & if you are a fan & haven’t seen them at all I say “What the F**k is wrong with you, they kick ass live”. Nuff said m

I missed the concert because I thought it was on Friday instead of Thursday. At least I had a great sex night so fuck yes. Thanks for the show, 10/10 would go again.

Ireland gig guide: CMAT, Limp Bizkit, Smashing Pumpkins and all of this week's biggest gigs

W e look ahead to all of the biggest concerts taking place around the country in the week ahead, including a new one-day festival taking place in the heart of Dublin city, and a hometown show from one of Ireland's best live acts.

In The Meadows

Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin - Saturday, €59.35

A folk-leaning festival called In the Meadows conjures up evocative images of sunbeams, long grass and picnic blankets — the kind of naive, mildly psychedelic bliss portrayed in Bowie’s early 70s song Memory of a Free Festival.

But even though this is in the beautiful surrounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, there’s a lot more darkness than your typical trad sesh.

As co-curators, Lankum have leaned into the outer limits of folk, trad, alternative and post-rock, adding lots of heaviness to their dark dynamics and rumbling drones.

The Dublin act headline the East Stage, along with postrock noise veterans Mogwai, as well as This Is the Kit and Cormac Begley.

The West Stage features the eclectic out-there sounds of Black Country, New Road, psych-indie act Mercury Rev, alttrad star John Francis Flynn, and Kurdish/Syrian singer-songwriter Mohammad Syfkhan.

Over on the Middle Stage, Rachael Lavelle, Tara Clerkin Trio, Andy The Doorbum, and Ana Palindrome take it even more leftfield.

Fairview Park, Dublin - Sunday, SOLD OUT

IT’S been a whirlwind four years for Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, who emerged in 2020 as a cult underground star mixing Dolly Pa r to n - style widescreen country and celebratory pop with an infectious injection of self-deprecating humour.

The self-proclaimed “jackass of the Dublin music scene” and “global pop star” has graduated from lockdown fave, to Choice Prize wins, sold-out tours, appearances on Graham Norton and now her biggest sold-out show to date.

Behind the exuberant humour, CMAT is also a strong advocate for human rights, pulling out of Latitude festival last weekend because of sponsor Barclays’ links to the Israeli Defence Forces.

Thankfully, there’s no sponsorship skeletons in Fairview’s closet, and CMAT will open up the series of gigs with defiant pop, glitterball country and the biggest selection of cowboy hats in the Northside since Garth Brooks at Croker.

Smashing Pumpkins & Weezer

3Arena, Dublin - Monday, €90-100 (Ticketmaster resale only)

Last week Smashing Pumpkins celebrated the anniversary of the release of their debut album Gish in 1991, the so-called Year That Punk Broke, when Sonic Youth brought Nirvana on a global support tour, and iconic albums like Nevermind, Pearl Jam’s Ten and Soundgarden’s Badmotorfinger were released.

Smashing Pumpkins were always slightly outside the early 90s alt-rock and grunge box, with an emotional noise-pop and psych core amid the heavy shredding.

Orchestral arrangements, double albums and goth periods were also a way to stand out from the yarling Vedder ripoffs in the post-grunge later 90s.

After splitting in 2000, frontman Billy Corgan has been the only consistent member, but the band now has founders Jimmy Chamberlain and James Iha, and a series of ambitious late period concept albums — their latest is Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts, released as three separate instalments over six months and an eventual box set.

Corgan was interviewed this week saying he’s not into simple nostalgia, so let’s hope the faithful have kept up with the last few decades of tangents.

Pet Shop Boys

SSE Arena, Belfast - Tuesday, £65-90

Pet Shop Boys have just released a new album Nonetheless, a record that bottles the celebratory, propulsive synthpop of their 80s era.

Still, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe aren’t presenting the new album in a concept live show. Besides a few new songs, this tour is just a continuation of their their Dreamland greatest hits tour, taking in four decades of some of the most sublime electronic pop music of all time.

A modern PSB live show is a pristine performance art pop extravaganza, with Tennant’s knowing winks, camp flourishes, Lowe’s deadpan synth wizardry and a supreme visual spectacle.

Expect everything from flamboyant show tunes like Go West and New York City Boy, euphoric synth pop like It’s a Sin, and emotional gut-punches such as Being Boring, and the tightest, no filler setlist of any 80s pop act.

Limp Bizkit

Ormeau Park, Belfast - Wednesday, £49-60

And now it’s time to party like it’s 1999, as nu-metal aggravators Limp Bizkit hit Belfast for some wallet chain and oversized rap-rock shenanigans.

In this era of zero rock in the charts, it’s easy to forget how big Limp Bizkit were back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

In 2000, third album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, turned them into one of the biggest bands in the world, helped by their appearance at Woodstock 99, when they were accused of inciting a riot.

Fred Durst’s back-to-front baseball cap antics seem quaint now, and now 52, he’s fully embracing nostalgia and fun rather than snotty-nosed nihilism. Most fans will be way past their Break Stuff moshing days, but this should be a jolt of latent energy.

Academy, Dublin - Thursday, SOLD OUT

Limelight 1, Belfast - Friday 14th June, £27.50

For many metal diehards, founding members and brothers Max and Igor Cavalera are the real dark heart of Sepultura, even though Max left in 1996.

Igor left 10 years after his big bro, and after years bypassing each other in various acts, they’re finally reunited as Cavalera, touring Sepultura’s early 80s death metal and raw thrash that’s largely been dropped from Sepultura’s sets.

But it’s not just a live project — the pair rerecorded Beneath the Remains and Bestial Devastation, with modern production values but still keeping the same feral energy.

Max and Igor Cavalera were the real backbone of Sepultura — Max’s Brazilian accent death growl, and and Igor’s tribal drumming and double kick onslaught added an outside the box take on 80s and 90s thrash and death metal.

Here’s a chance to hear the pair play the deepest of deep cuts to the faithful.
