Concerts, gigs, live performances and other musical events, put your sneakers on: itzy is coming to manila in january 2023, mark your calendars, philippine midzys, because itzy will finally return to manila next year.

South Korean girl group ITZY will take over the Philippine concert stage and bring their first-ever world tour to the local shores in 2023.

Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are ready to perform on a bigger stage for their Filipino fans as they stage ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR – CHECKMATE in Manila on January 14, 2023, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Presented by Live Nation Philippines , the upcoming concert will signal the start of the Asia leg of the world tour that will also see the girls perform in Singapore, Indonesia, and Bangkok. In addition, the concert will mark the first concert of ITZY in the country in more than three years.

Fans can secure their tickets during the LNPH Pre-Sale and General On-Sale, happening on November 11 and 12, respectively.

LNPH Pre-Sale will start at 10 a.m. and end at 11:59 p.m. on November 11. To access the pre-sale, Live Nation members need to log in with their account during the event pre-sale period and book pre-sale tickets on the event page. Meanwhile, tickets will be available via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and through www.smtickets.com during the General On-Sale on November 12, starting 10 a.m. onwards.

From a Rookie Grand Slam debut to first world tour with Checkmate

ITZY marked their first year in the K-Pop scene with a highly-successful debut through the single album, It’z Different , and the single, “Dalla Dalla”. Their debut year saw them take home rookie awards from different award-giving bodies, making them the first girl group to achieve a “Rookie Grand Slam”. Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna continued to exceed public expectations with their every release taking top positions in various charts in South Korea and abroad.

In 2022, they released their first Japanese single titled “Voltage” and came out with their fifth extended play in South Korea titled Checkmate , led by the single, “Sneakers”. In addition, this year saw the girl group embark on their first-ever world tour, Checkmate . The world tour kicked off in Seoul on August 6 and 7. They then extended the tour to North America with shows in Los Angeles and Phoenix in October.

ITZY will continue on the tour with concerts in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, and New York City in November, before kicking off the Asia leg in the Philippines on January 14, 2023.

Aside from the Philippines, 2023 will also see ITZY on the concert stages of Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

ITZY adds second day to Manila leg of 'Checkmate' tour in 2023

Good news, MIDZY! ITZY's "Checkmate" concert in Manila is running for two days now.

The second day of the K-Pop group’s Philippine concert will be on January 15, 2023, Live Nation Philippines announced on Sunday.

The update came after tickets for the January 14 show went on sale from November 11 to 12. Ticket prices range from P3,500 to P13,500.

Both concerts will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Fans aged eight and above are welcome.

ITZY   are coming to you!

In an announcement made today (17 October), the  'SNEAKERS'  act revealed more shows for their first-ever  CHECKMATE  world tour. The tour, which initially kicked off with a two-day concert in Seoul last August, will continue into 2023 with stops across North America and Asia.

At this point, we have full confirmation that 2024 is the year of K-Pop. Let’s have a quick recap: the world went on lockdown because of a pandemic, and hundreds of groups debuted without ever seeing a worldwide stage. But now, we can finally get ITZY tickets, and we’re not taking any chances.

The last time we saw the girls on the big worldwide stage was in 2022 during their debut tour . Unfortunately, this “world” tour only spanned North America and Asia. We were disappointed but not entirely surprised. However, I bring the best news possible: JYP finally learned what the word “world” actually means and released 27 new dates for ITZY’s second world tour. Let’s get to them.

In the press release shared with us, the company unveiled the dates, countries, and even the ticketing information for all fans across the globe. ‘Queen of Tears’ star Kim Soo-hyun to hold Asia tour in Manila

Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, who starred in the hit drama “Queen of Tears,” will be visiting Manila in June. 

“Korean superstar and one of Korea's best actors, Kim Soo-hyun, is bringing his much-awaited and first-ever Asia Tour in ten years - to MANILA!” according to promoter Wilbros Live.

Kim Soo-hyun will hold his “Eyes On You” Asia Tour in Manila on June 29, 6 p.m., at the Araneta Coliseum. 

Tickets to the show will go on sale starting at noon on May 18, at TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets. 

Kim Soo-hyun starred in dramas such as “My Love From the Stars,” “Moon Embracing the Sun” and “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay.” 

The final episode of “Queen of Tears” set the record for the highest rated cable TV drama on Korean network tvN. 

It surpassed the rating of the 2020 hit series “Crash Landing on You,” which starred Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin.

Olivia Rodrigo Hints At A Manila Concert Following Her Asia Tour Announcement

The “drivers license” hitmaker hints at a Manila stop of The GUTS Tour.

Olivia Rodrigo is coming to Asia.

The GRAMMY award winning singer-songwriter just announced her the Asia and Australia leg of The GUTS tour, which sees stops in Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore. On the tour poster, Rodrigo also shared, “Stay tuned, Manila” as many Filipino fans anticipate a concert in the Philippines.

The GUTS World Tour, which kicked off in February of this year in the United States. From March 26 to 30, she held concerts in Canada before heading back to the United States. She will then head to Ireland on April 30 to kick off the Europe leg of the tour, with stops in England, Scotland, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Italy, France, and more.

Last year, she teased that she would be coming to the Philippines in 2024 in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter prior to the start of the world tour. When talking about the tour, she said, “I’m so stoked. I think it’s going to be so much fun to play those kinds of rock songs in an arena too. I’m so excited to feel that energy. I’m so excited to go places that I haven’t been before. I’m really excited to go to the Philippines — I’ve never been — so that’s going to be fun. And I love my band. I have an all-girl band, and they’re so wonderful and such great musicians. It’s going to be fun.”

In March of this year, she dropped the music video for “ obsessed ” from the deluxe version of her 2023 album, GUTS (Spilled). The deluxe version features five new songs from Rodrigo, which include the aforementioned track as well as “girl i’ve always been,” “scared of my guitar,” “stranger,” and “so american.”

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino MIDZYs, ready to see ITZY up close again? The ticket prices and seat plan for the group’s fan meeting in Manila have been announced on Wednesday, March 15. 

Tickets range from P1,000 for the general admission section to P8,500 for the VIP section. According to shop.bench.com , fans will get a ticket after having a “single-receipt net purchase of any regular-priced Bench & Herbench merchandise, cosmetics, selected consignment items, regular and promo bundles, and gift boxes and gift packs.”

Shopping period for VIP, Patron, and Lowerbox B sections will run from March 15 and 16 only, while the shopping period for Lowerbox A and Upperbox tiers will be from March 17 to 31. The shopping period for general admission tickets will be from March 17 and 18 only.

There is no restriction on how many tickets a fan can buy, but a single receipt only corresponds to a single unique code/slot. 

VIP ticket holders will get a set of five unsigned ITZY photocards, and also have the chance to win BENCH merchandise signed by all ITZY members, a one ITZY member-signed poster, and access to the Bye Wave session. 

The full guidelines of participating branches, online purchasing, and how to claim physical tickets are on the BENCH’s website. 

The fan meeting is set for April 16 at the SM Mall of Asia. ITZY was introduced as BENCH’s endorser in June 2022. 

The fan meeting is set just three months after the girl group did a two-night concert in Manila as part of their CHECKMATE world tour. 

Composed of Ryujin, Yuna, Yeji, Lia, and Chaeryeong, ITZY is a girl group under JYP Entertainment that debuted in February 2019. They are known for their tracks  “Mafia in the Morning,” “Icy,” “Wannabe,” “Dalla Dalla,” and “Loco.” Their latest album, CHECKMATE , was released in July 2022. – Rappler.com

Olivia Rodrigo announces 2024 ‘Guts’ Asia and Australia tour dates

"So much luv for everyone who has been coming 2 jump and sing and scream!!! Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! hope to see ya there," wrote the singer on Instagram

Olivia Rodrigo has announced the Asia and Australia leg of her 2024 ‘ Guts’ world tour set to kick off later this year.

The Asian leg of the tour will kick off on September 16 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok. From there, the ‘Love Is Embarrassing’ singer will be making stops in Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. A Manila date is set to be released soon.

From there, she will head on down under on October 9 playing two shows in Melbourne and Sydney each. Benee will be serving as opening support for all Australian dates. The new dates will mark the pop star’s first time touring in either country.

At the time of writing, details for the ticket releases and on-sale times have yet to be shared.

“Europe leg of the GUTS world tour has been wonderful so far!!!!,” the singer wrote in an Instagram caption. “So much luv for everyone who has been coming 2 jump and sing and scream!!! Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! hope to see ya there!!!”

The new tour dates come after Rodrigo’s ‘Guts’ shows at The Co-Op Arena in Manchester were pushed back  due to ongoing technical issues at the arena .

She spoke out about the shows being postponed at the last minute , saying that she was “so disappointed” by the news.

“I’ve been having such a great time in Europe so far and I’m sooooo disappointed that we’re unable to perform in Manchester due to on-going venue-related technical issues,” she explained, writing on Instagram Stories .

“We’re doing our best to reschedule the show. you can hold onto your tickets for further info or request a refund at your point of purchase. More info will be sent directly to ticket holders,” she added. “I’m so bummed and I really hope to see you all soon”.

In other news, Rodrigo recently appeared as a surprise guest during No Doubt’s 2024 Coachella reunion set . Together they performed a a rendition of the band’s 2000 track ‘Bathwater’ from their album ‘Return Of Saturn’.
