Taylor Swift Eras Tour - the cheapest tickets still available for final UK shows in August

D emand is skyrocketing for Taylor Swift's Eras tour - set to return for the final UK dates at Wembley Stadium in August. If you're still looking to secure a spot in the crowd, we've got the lowdown on the most affordable ticket options currently available .

Following three opening nights in London last weekend, it's no surprise that fans are scrambling to get their hands on tickets for Swift's final five nights at Wembley next month, causing prices to soar.

While tickets have sold out on Ticketmaster , they can still be found on resale sites such as Viagogo , VividSeats and StubHub . At the time of writing, the cheapest seats available will cost you £505 from Viagogo , for Taylor's show back in London on Saturday, August 17.

This price does come with a restricted view seat, in the upper level, tucked behind the left-hand corner of the stage - but is still comparatively cheaper than similar seats on VividSeats , which currently start from over £900, and on StubHub , which would set you back more than £1,200, as reported as reported by Devon Live .

However, if you're willing to splash out on a seat with a decent view of the stage as Taylor performs, your best bet is still Viagogo, where you can enjoy a view of the singer for £556 from an upper-tier section , for her show on Friday, August 16.

Meanwhile, the most affordable seat with a view on VividSeats for the same night will set you back £1,118 on the upper-tier towards the back of the stadium. Over on StubHub , the cheapest sightline to Miss Swift on the same night starts at £964, which lands you towards the rear of the stadium, on the right-hand side.

If you're eager to be in the thick of it all in the standing section, the lowest current price for general admission standing is £733 on Viagogo , for the August 15 gig.

This is also the most budget-friendly night for front standing tickets from Viagogo , with prices ranging from £916 to stand on the left-hand side of the stage in this front section, or £987 to position yourself on the right-hand side of the stage.

However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster - to ensure a smooth live event experience.

Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk. With that said, Viagogo also commented: "Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."

Viagogo's ticket guarantee assures buyers: "When you purchase tickets on Viagogo, Viagogo guarantees that you will receive the tickets you paid for in time for the event. In the rare instance that a problem arises and the original ticket seller does not provide you with the tickets listed for sale, Viagogo will, in its discretion, review comparably priced tickets and offer you replacement tickets at no additional cost, or Viagogo will issue you a refund for the cost of the tickets.

"'Comparably priced' replacement tickets are determined by Viagogo in its discretion. When you sell tickets on Viagogo, provided you provide the exact tickets listed for sale and the ticket buyer successfully gains entry to the event, Viagogo guarantees that you will be paid for your sale."

Taylor's remaining five gigs in London are scheduled for August 15, 16, 17, 19, and 20.

Taylor Swift's reign continues with the latest leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter kicked off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift released her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, so the Swiftie hype will continue through the summer.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options. You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resumed on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. A few venues check that a ticketholder's ID matches the name on the tickets. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

On StubHub, UK tour dates come with a note that ticket terms don't permit resale through unauthorized channels and might not be valid for entry. If this ends up being the case, StubHub notes that its FanProtect Guarantee will cover purchasers.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets ranged from $239 (Amsterdam, Netherlands on July 4) to £1,279 (London, England on August 19). The latter is around $1,616 in USD. The lowest prices for most shows are around $250 to $1,200. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $491 and $1,172, respectively.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,613 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 6) to $2,602 (Indianapolis, Indiana on November 2). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,600 and $2,300. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,527 and $2,451, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore is opening for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act. Earlier in the tour, Swift had Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA, HAIM, and more open for her.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift has already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations.

During her 100th show, a mid-June performance in Liverpool, Swift acknowledged that the tour would conclude in December. "The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," Swift told the crowd in a moment that was widely captured and posted across social media. This statement means that the Eras Tour is unlikely to extend past 2024, but we'll keep this guide updated if Swift announces any changes (or additions) to her tour lineup.

Will The Tortured Poets Department be a part of the Eras Tour?

It's good news for fans of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's new album that dropped on April 19, 2024. Swift is incorporating several of the new tracks into the Eras Tour, as evidenced by the first shows of her European leg. "The Tortured Poets Department" songs currently featured on tour include "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Since the Eras Tour is already pretty long, this means that Swift is also cutting down a few songs from past Eras that previously made the tour setlist. The songs that were removed from the setlist include "The Archer," "Long Live," "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "'Tis the Damn Season," and "Tolerate It."

Where can I stream The Eras Tour concert film?

If you'd rather watch The Eras Tour from home, you could always stream it on Disney+. Check out everything you need to know about streaming The Eras Tour concert film in our guide .

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.

Will Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour setlist be the same in the UK?

Will Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour setlist be the same in the UK?

Historically, Taylor rarely edits her setlists much from country to country. Taylor currently performs two surprise songs on The Eras Tour each night, while the setlist remains the same. However, given that The Eras Tour is already Taylor's biggest tour to date, and will likely have significant gaps between legs, anything is possible.

As it stands, Taylor Swift and Speak Now are almost entirely absent from The Eras Tour setlist but it doesn't have to stay that way. Taylor is set to release Speak Now (Taylor's Version ) on July 7th and it's possible that Taylor will add more Speak Now songs to the setlist once her version is released.

The setlist could possibly have some changes by the time it reaches the UK.

What do you think? Will you be getting tickets to see Taylor in the UK?

Taylor Swift in the UK: Eras Tour timings, setlist and everything you need to know

Are you ready for it? The UK leg of the Eras Tour has officially kicked off

Chiara Wilkinson

Hot Swiftie summer is officially underway. After over a year pouring over set lists and constantly refreshing our feeds to hear news about the star, Swifties of Britain are finally getting to experience the Eras Tour live and in person. Her UK run of shows kicked off last week in Edinburgh – Liverpool is up next.

On her US leg, we saw the mega star perform through a torrential storm, dive head first into the stage, partake in a short-lived relationship with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy (that then inspired a whole new album), and bring her ex Taylor Lautner out to do a few backflips. We can only hope that the UK leg will be just as exciting and spectacular.

So make the friendship bracelets and pick your Era. Here’s everything we know about Taylor’s Eras tour in the UK.

When is Taylor Swift coming to the UK as part of her 2024 Eras tour?

She’s over in two rounds throughout June and August playing stadiums in Edinburgh , Liverpool ,  Cardiff  and London . The dates are as follows:

June 7 2024 –  Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield Stadium June 8 2024 – Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield Stadium June 9 2024 – Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield Stadium

June 13 2024 – Liverpool, Anfield Stadium June 14 2024 – Liverpool, Anfield Stadium June 15 2024 – Liverpool, Anfield Stadium

How much were Taylor Swift tickets in the UK?

For the London and Edinburgh date presales, tickets ranged in price from around £59 (for partial or obstructed view tickets) to £110 for general admission standing. Front standing was priced at about £172, while seated tickets went up to  £194.

What about VIP?

Some people with acute Swift-itis spent up to £799 on hospitality packages . Those get you things like premium seats, arrival via the hospitality entrance, premium dining options and other cool-but-expensive things.

What’s going on with resale tickets?

With tickets as precious as these, it’s no wonder that they’re already being resold at extortionate prices. Despite a four ticket limit per buyer, resale sites Viagogo and Stubhub already have tickets being resold. Some are listed for as high as £6,000.

Needless to say, you should be especially careful when buying anything on resale and only buy from official resale websites.

Who will be supporting Taylor in the UK?

For her European leg, Taylor is being supported by the one and only Paramore. The pop-punk band's nine-song setlist includes ‘Hard Times’, ‘Misery Business’, ‘Still Into You’ and ‘Ain’t It Fun’.

Additionally, in London T-Swizzle will be supported  by Mette on June 21, Griff on June 22 and Benson Boone in June 23. You can  find out more about her Wembley shows here .

What’s the current setlist for her Eras Tour?

The show is made up of an epic 44-song setlist divided up according to the singer’s ten ‘eras’, which each refer to one of her albums. Thanks to the release of an entire double album in the midst of her world tour, it looks a little different to her North America, South America and Australia setlists.

She also performs two different surprise acoustic songs each night and has invited other musicians to perform with her on stage including Phoebe Bridgers and The National’s Aaron Dessner.

What’s been said about the tour so far?

Taylor Swift kickstarted her tour at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium in March, where she debuted a mega three-hour set playing songs from across her career.

The production includes 16 dancers and many set and costume changes, as well as a moment where the singer appears to ‘dive’ into the stage.

At her show in Arlington, Texas, Swift teased the crowd saying: ‘One thing we said about the Eras Tour: you think you can just go online, you think you can just scroll and know the setlist?

‘Let it be said about the Eras Tour ,  we’re tricksy. That’s what we are [and] we enjoy a good, healthy setlist hijinks.'

The UK and Ireland will see a heavy dose of Taylor Swift during the European leg of her ongoing Eras tour.

The 12-time Grammy winner announced 50 new international destinations on the tour, which kicked off 17 March in Glendale, Arizona, on Instagram on Tuesday (20 June).

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY,” Swift, 33, wrote in the caption.

“I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit TaylorSwift.com/tour for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!!”

She’ll then move on to Anfield Stadium in Liverpool for two nights beginning 14 June. Cardiff will receive one night of Swift mania at the Principality Stadium on 18 June.

She’ll next hit London ’s Wembley Stadium for two nights starting 21 June. Finally, she arrives in Dublin for two nights at the Aviva Stadium starting 28 June.

However, fans in London will have one more chance to see the pop megastar than the rest as Swift will return to the English capital for two more nights at Wembley on 16 and 17 August to close out the tour.

European fans will be hoping for a smoother ticketing process than their US counterparts.

Tickets were set to go on sale to the general public on 18 November last year; however, a verified presale on 15 November crashed the Ticketmaster website due to “historically unprecedented demand”.

Ticketmaster’s parent company Live Nation said that they should have done a “better job” by staggering sales over a longer time period, during a congressional hearing addressing its handling of the singer’s ticket sales.

“We apologise to the fans. We apologise to Ms Swift. We need to do better, and we will do better,” said Live Nation president Joe Berchtold.

It’s been five years since Swift’s last tour after her planned Lover Fest tour in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic. During that time, she’s made four additions to her “family” of albums: 2019’s Lover , 2020’s Folklore and Evermore, and 2022’s Midnights .

At the same time, she’s been re-recording her first six albums as part of her plan to reclaim the master recordings, following a public battle with her former record label.

In her five-star review from Arizona, The Independent ’s critic Kelsey Barnes wrote : “Throughout the opening night of the tour, it frequently feels as though the audience is being caught up with Swift’s past, present and future.

“In the 44-song setlist that spans three hours and 15 minutes, she shows why the “era” concept is so integral to who she is. Each chapter marks a specific shift in her artistry.”

Taylor Swift performs during the Eras Tour

Ticket prices for Taylor Swift's UK Eras tour have been widely shared online.

The singer confirmed last month that she would be bringing her critically acclaimed Eras tour to Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff in 2024. Taylor then announced additional dates on July 5 due to the high demand seen through registration.

General sale will start on July 17, but presale began today, Monday July 10, and is split over three days with each date having its own allotted time. If you pre-ordered Taylor's latest album Midnights from her official store, you should have received a presale code by email between Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7.

The presale has already seen huge online queues with thousands of fans desperate to get their hands on Eras tour tickets. Many people reported being "kicked off" the Ticketmaster site as they were about to pay, forcing Ticketmaster to issue some important advice.

The presale proved fruitless for many people, leaving them ticketless and searching for alternative ways to get their hands on them. Some fans hit out at the prices online as many attempt to re-sell their tickets.

Today, people with their unique code could buy tickets for the shows at Edinburgh and London. Ticket prices have been hugely shared online, ranging from around £58 to £662 depending in your budget.

However, people can only purchase up to four tickets per unique code. For Wembley Stadium, the prices being shared on social media were:

  • Seated ticket from £58.65 to £194.75 each
  • General admission standing priced at £110.40 each
  • Standing left and right ticket were pried at £172.25 each

A variety of VIP packages are also available however, for an increase in price. These include one seated ticket and several items. Some even have early access. These include:

  • It's Been A Long Time Coming Package priced around £662
  • Karma Is My Boyfriend priced around £387
  • I Remember It All Too Well Package priced around £332
  • The Ready for It Package is priced around £277
  • It's A Love Story package priced around £222.40
  • We Never Go Out Of Style is priced around £196.60

Taylor Swift is bringing the Eras Tour to the UK next year

Tickets to see Taylor Swift in her first UK tour in six years are set to be in huge demand when they go on sale next month.

The singer, who has sold more than 200 million records, is bringing her current Eras Tour over to the UK and Europe in 2024 for the first time with dates in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin.

Whilst Mancunians were keen to express their upset at the star’s decision to miss out Manchester altogether , she will be playing two huge nights not too far from home at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on June 14 and 15 next year.

Tickets for the shows have not yet gone on sale but eagle-eyed fans believe they have figured out how much they could be when they are available to purchase.

By estimating how much tickets have sold for in the USA, where the show is currently being held, and looking at similar shows here in the UK, fans have come up with a map they believe will closely reflect the pricing of the show in Liverpool . Although, of course, it is worth noting that it is highly speculative.

Taylor Swift is coming to Liverpool, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin

Posted on the Swifters 2.0 fan group on Facebook, which boasts more than 79,000 followers, the map suggests prices could start at around £49 for 'side view' seats towards the back of the stage.

Some side view seats - you’d hope presumably because they would have a better view - are also expected to be on sale for around the £75 mark. The better seats in the house could be going for anywhere between £95 - £160.

Those looking to stand at the show could be looking at around £95 a ticket. Those wanting to get up as close to the stage as possible with golden circle tickets might need to shell out for £150 for the opportunity, although it feels like these in-demand tickets will realistically go on sale for much more than that.

Fans commented on the map to suggest demand for the tickets will be incredibly high. One said: “Good luck everyone!”. Another wrote: “we need to see where is best for the kids”.

Another said: “Let’s go here to see her!”, while one other fan said: “Sounds promising.”

Could this map represent how much tickets might go for at Taylor Swift's Eras tour in Liverpool?

While there is no way of really knowing how much UK ticket prices will be until the moment they go on sale, it's a nice idea of what fans could be looking to pay. In America, tickets for shows from around $289 (£227) before rising to as much as $1778 (£1398), so tickets are certainly expected to be higher than suggested in the fan-made map.

As per the name of the show, the Eras Tour will span all of Taylor’s albums from her 2006 self-titled debut to her recent album Midnights, which features the hits Karma and Anti-Hero.

The current run in America has seen shows last as long as four hours, with special ‘surprise’ tracks performed each night.

Pre-sale tickets for registered fans will go on sale between July 10-12. General tickets for Taylor's UK tour will go on sale between July 13-20. Tickets for the two Anfield Stadium shows will on sale at Thursday, 20 July, 2pm. Details on tickets can be found here.

Show promoter AEG has been approached by the M.E.N for more information on ticket prices.

Taylor Swift ticket prices for UK Eras Tour as fans wait for access codes

Actually pleasantly surprised by these prices.

Daisy Jackson

We finally know how much Taylor Swift tickets will cost when the star brings her Eras Tour to the UK.

Demand for the stadium shows is expected to be extremely high, with a complicated system introduced by Ticketmaster to manage the on-sale.

And while fans impatiently wait to see if they’ll even have the chance to try and buy tickets (access codes for UK fans should arrive by Friday), we can all at least start budgeting for Taylor Swift tickets.

That’s because an album pre-sale took place earlier this week for those who were organised enough to pre-order her latest album, Midnights.

And through that, we can see what the star is charging for her UK dates.

General ticket prices are set to range between £58.65 and £194.75, which might sound expensive until you remember Madonna and her tickets that STARTED at £143.85.

There are VIP packages too, priced all the way up to £662.50, starting from £196.60.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is on track to be the biggest and most profitable tour in history, and has been setting social media alight since she launched it in north America this year.

Another big name rocks up for another big night at the Co-op Live arena this week as Kings of Leon’s latest tour brings them to Manchester on Wednesday, 10 July.

The Tennessee band have long felt like the underdogs of the alternative, indie and Southern rock scene, especially back in their early days when few artists straddled all those genres at the same time, but now they’re probably one of the best-known bands on the planet, and rightly so.

Don’t get us wrong, we all know these lads have had some massive tunes over the years (none bigger than that one , of course) not to mention so many huge festival and arena notches on their belt, but it never feels like they quite get the legendary status that many fans feel they deserve – us included.

Co-op Live certainly seem to get it, anyway, as you don’t secure a spot at the biggest indoor entertainment venue in Europe without being a big-name act and with thousands set to pour into the arena, here’s everything you need to know about Kings of Leon’s massive Manchester gig.

Are there tickets left for Kings of Leon in Manchester?

Now, if you were looking to grab a last-minute ticket to see Kings of Leon in Manchester, you’re in luck because there just so happens to be a few spots left and they’re in the best bit: standing.

Yes, while the Co-op Live seating has all been taken up, if your knees are still working/you prefer to be in the mixer anyway, there are standing KoL tickets still up for grabs.

Naturally, with a concert of this size, they’re not the cheapest; general admission will set you back £79.70 including fees if you want to snap them up, but we’d be quick about it as they won’t last long. You can grab yours HERE .

Support acts

If you’ve already sorted a ticket, you’re getting pretty good bang for your buck too; when you’re a name as big as Kings of Leon, you can command some serious pull when it comes to who you want to support you on tour.

For the Can We Please Have Fun tour, for instance, Manchester will be treated to fellow indie veterans The Vaccines, known for hits like ‘If You Wanna’, ‘Norgaard’, ‘Wetsuit’, ‘Wreckin’ Bar’ and many more.

The kings might have another decade on these lads in terms of staying power but The Vaccines still sell out big venues all over the UK and Europe in their own right (plus they literally just smashed Glasto ), so we’re buzzing that they’ll be sharing the stage with the Nashville veterans on the same night.

Stage times

Now, speaking of the stage, we can only give you a rough idea of the set times given that the final details haven’t been fully confirmed yet, but if you’re a regular gig-goer we’re sure you can have a pretty good guess and what the running order looks like.

As per the Co-op Live’s schedule, doors are set to open from 6:30pm with the show set to start at 7:30pm, meaning you’ll likely have an hour of Vaccines tunes to enjoy and then a 30-minute break for you to go and get another drink or a snack, nip to the loo, grab some merch and so on.

We’re expecting Kings of Leon to take the stage in Manchester at around 9pm and since the arena’s curfew is 11pm, you can expect a two-hour show or a running time very close to that at least.

The Can We Please Have Fun tour setlist

As for what you’ll be hearing, while we’ve seen some variation in the Kings of Leon’s 2024 setlist in Europe thus far, it is pretty consistent throughout for the majority, so we shouldn’t be too far off here.

The one trend we have noticed is that the four-piece sometimes switches up their opener, with ‘Set It Off’ and new track ‘Rainbow Ball’ having both been in the mix but, by and large, they mostly stick with the first track on their ninth studio album, ‘Ballerina Radio’.

Here’s how the rest of it looks judging by their most recent shows in the UK and according to Setlist.fm :

  • Ballerina Radio
  • Taper Jean Girl
  • Nothing to Do
  • Sex on Fire
  • Don’t Stop the Bleeding
  • Comeback Story
  • Molly’s Chambers
  • Back Down South
  • Nowhere to Run
  • King of the Rodeo
  • Wait for Me
  • Split Screen
  • Rainbow Ball
  • Waste a Moment
  • Use Somebody

Unsurprisingly, it’s been going down a storm.

Is 5 stars good? Not sure how the star system works in the UK. https://t.co/SjKKeTHigQ . — Kings Of Leon (@KingsOfLeon) June 21, 2024

How to get to Co-op Live – travel info, parking etc.

Now, as for how you’ll get to shows at Co-op Live, luckily it’s right next door to a rather famous big blue stadium and its integrated Metrolink stop.

Head along the light blue or orange lines directly to the Etihad Campus or Ashton-under-Lyne and you can get off the tram literally spitting distance from the arena. You can find the full map HERE .

Trams run frequently on the Ashton-Eccles line to the Etihad stop, with services leaving every six minutes from the city centre and until 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you want to take another new and improved arm of Manchester’s public transport system, not only is there a whole host of routes that drop you off close to the venue.

You can find the full list of bus routes HERE , with the one in closest proximity to the venue being the 53 bus which runs from Cheetham Hill through to Higher Crumpsall, Old Trafford and Pendleton, leaving just a two-minute walk to Co-op Live. You also get free Bee Network travel with any valid event ticket.

Co-op Live and TfGM extends FREE tram travel scheme for event ticket-holders

Getting there by car and parking.

If you’re driving, there is limited parking available at the venue but this must be pre-booked ahead of time and there are designated drop-off areas.

The postcode is M11 3DU and you can follow the signs towards the wider Etihad Campus as you get closer; directions to the adjacent drop-off points will also be signposted.

Keep in mind that congestion on the roads close to the stadium is expected to gather around two hours prior to any event, so if you are travelling on the road, these are the suggested times they provide come event day – though estimates will obviously vary:

  • Alan Turing Way (both directions): plan an additional 20 minutes into any journey by road.
  • Hyde Road (eastbound): expect an additional 15 minutes to be added to your journey.
  • Mancunian Way (westbound): plan for an extra 10 minutes of travel time.

There are also three park-and-ride facilities near Co-op Live but be advised that the Velopark and Holt Town stops will be closed post-event to help safely manage crowds:

  • Ashton Moss  (Ashton line) – 183 spaces and 12 disabled spaces
  • Ashton West  (Ashton line) – 184 spaces and 11 disabled spaces
  • Ladywell  (Ashton-Eccles line) – 332 spaces and 22 disabled spaces

Lastly, Co-op Live is only a half-hour stroll from Manchester Piccadilly. Greater Manchester now also offers the option to hire bikes through the Beryl , with riders able to locate, unlock, get to their destination and then safely lock up the boke all through an easy-to-use app.

There are hire points just near the south-west corner of the Etihad Stadium on Ashton New Road. For more information on all travel options, you can check out the enhanced  journey planner .

Courteeners performed a huge gig on one of the north’s biggest stages over the weekend, in scenes Liam Fray himself described as ‘unreal’.

The Manchester-formed indie heroes delivered a blistering concert as part of the Lytham Festival 2024 line-up.

And it was a record-breaker, becoming the largest show to ever take place at the northern gig series, with a sold-out crowd of 25,000.

Courteeners ‘ set at Lytham Festival is their only North of England festival appearance of the year, and the huge audience lapped it up.

Bucket hats, flares (no matter how hard venues try to ban them), crowd-surfing and more were all in store for the Friday night of the event.

Also performing on the stage over the five-day run of events were Hozier, Shania Twain, Madness, and James with Johnny Marr.

Liam Fray, Michael Campbell and Daniel Moores gave the crowd a hit-packed set which included Cavorting, Notion, Take Over The Word, Pink Cactus Café, The 17th, Cloud, Modern Love, What Took You So Long and the iconic anthem Not Nineteen Forever.

They were supported by rising star Nieve Ella and fellow indie icons The Kooks.

After the gig, Liam simply posted: “The sun sets on a promise kept. Unreal you lot x.”

Supermarkets have done a better job of keeping shelves stocked as the cost of living crisis recedes.

That's according to the latest annual figures from the Grocer , which show the traditional big four supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons) have a combined availability score of 92.7%, up on last year's 91.4% return.

The biggest improvement came from Tesco. It surged from 91.1% to 94.6%, taking it from joint third place in 2023 to top spot this year.

"We want every customer to have the confidence they can get what they want at Tesco, wherever or however they choose to shop with us," said its chief commercial officer Ashwin Prasad.

"These results reflect the incredible efforts of our teams and supplier partners, working day in, day out to keep products moving, and I feel very proud of what we have achieved."

Asda saw its availability score fall from 91.4% to 90.3%, leaving it in a distant last place among the big four.

Runner-up Sainsbury's, which was crowned grocer of the year last week, saw its availability score rise to 94.1%, an improvement from last year's 92.5%.

Morrisons' availability jumped from 91.1% to 92.5%.

Protesters have fired water guns at tourists in Barcelona as part of mass demonstrations over the number of the visitors to the Spanish city.

People marched down streets and sprayed those who they believed were visiting the city with water.

Guests were also prevented from leaving their hotels when campaigners taped up exits.

Thousands of people were said to have taken part in the rally against mass tourism.

Tension has been mounting over the rising cost of housing and rents in Spain, and the cost of goods in the shops, with many blaming the trends on increasing tourism.

The Catalan capital received more than 12 million tourists in 2023 and expects more in 2024.

Last week, Spain's government announced a crackdown on short-term and seasonal holiday lettings amid rising anger from locals who feel priced out of the housing market.

Rents rose by an average of 13% in June compared with a year earlier and by 18% in tourist cities such as Barcelona and Madrid, according to the property website Idealista.

Barcelona's mayor, Jaume Collboni, has also announced plans to phase out all short-term lets in the city by 2028.

Potters Resorts has been named the best holiday park in the UK, according to a Which? survey.

The all-inclusive destination beat household names to the top of the table with a customer score of 87%.

Pontins came in last place, with the popular Butlin's also placing in the bottom five.

More than 1,700 people were asked about their experiences at holiday parks in the last two years, with each ranking their stays on 11 criteria including cleanliness, value for money and quality of facilities.

Which? then calculated an customer score based on overall satisfaction and value for money.

Visitors awarded Potters the full five stars for the variety of free facilities on offer, the quality of facilities, and the quality of the entertainment and communication.

It was awarded four stars for overall customer service, food and drink, value for money and quality of accommodation.

Pontins, founded in 1946, took last place with a customer score of 56%.

It scored a run of two-star ratings for customer service, quality of accommodation, cleanliness, variety of free facilities, quality of facilities and activities, food and drink and value for money.

Its highest score of three stars was for communication and the quality of entertainment.

Sky News has contacted Pontins for comment.

You can see how the holiday parks were rated in the table below:

Longstanding rival Butlin's also found itself in the bottom five, with a customer score of 67%.

Guests at Butlin's rated customer service two stars, it received three stars in key categories including quality of accommodation and cleanliness, and four for the quality and variety of children's activities and entertainment.

"As the home of entertainment, it's brilliant to see that we're scoring highly when it comes to activities and entertainment," a Butlins spokesperson said.

"It is disappointing to see that some scores are lower but would like to reassure guests that we're investing in these areas to offer a better holiday experience."

Centre Parcs, the most visited holiday park, came in slightly higher at 69%.

Survey respondents reported spending an average of £76 per person per night, making it the most expensive option not to include food or drinks in the price.

A spokesperson for Center Parcs said: "We are proud of our consistently high guest satisfaction scores and over 60% of guests will go on to make another booking with us.

"Our guests demand a high-quality experience and each year we invest tens of millions of pounds improving our villages to ensure we meet their expectations."

We'll kick off this morning with a deal that will probably see Britvic changing hands.

The soft drinks maker has agreed to a takeover by Danish brewer Carlsberg.

The firm, based in Hemel Hempstead, had rejected a bid last month that valued Britvic at £3.1bn.

The agreement - subject to regulatory and shareholder approval - now values Britvic at £3.3bn through 1,315p per share and a special dividend.

Carlsberg also announced that it was to buy UK pub group Marston's out from a joint venture.

It explained that the deals were part of a strategy to create an integrated beer and soft drinks operation in the UK.

Marston's shares were up 12% while those of Britvic were 4% higher.

The FTSE 100 started the week down 0.3%.

There is plenty of focus across the Channel where France is in political turmoil.

The euro was weaker by a tenth of a cent against both the dollar and the pound after the final round of voting in the snap parliamentary election.

It saw the left-wing block claim the most seats with the far-right National Rally, which had been tipped to lead, coming third.

The result leaves a hung parliament in a country with no history of coalition government.

The country's prime minister is set to officially resign today.

The CAC 40, whose banking constituents have suffered particularly badly during the election, fell 0.6% at the open in Paris.

Iceland is searching for up to 250 new sites  for its Food Warehouse stores as part of its nationwide expansion plan.

Crawley, Brighton, Salisbury and Dundee are among the locations already named by the frozen foods specialists as places they'd like to open new stores.

First launched in 2014, Food Warehouse stores are often located in retail parks and are around three times the size of traditional Iceland shops.

Fortnum & Mason has launched a subscription service to deliver refills for tea, biscuits and jams to your front door every month.

The department store is offering three subscriptions, starting with the Tea Post which costs £100 annually and offers customers a year's supply of monthly refills of a choice of tea blends.

It also comes with a customisable initialled china mug, tin and strainer.

The Biscuit Post costs £20 a month and offers refills of the popular Toffolossus, Chocolossus or Gingerlossus biscuits, available on either three-month, six-month or 12-month subscriptions.

The third subscription, called the Teatime Dispatch, offers a selection of both tea and biscuits, as well as a choice of marmalades or jams.

It costs £25 a month, available on either three-month, six-month or 12-month subscriptions.

Cineworld is drawing up plans to axe dozens of British cinemas as part of a radical restructuring that would also include extensive rent cuts.

Sky News has learned the company, which until last year was listed on the London Stock Exchange, is considering closing about a quarter of its roughly-100 British multiplexes.

Cineworld also wants to renegotiate rent agreements at a further 50 sites, with the remaining 25 untouched by the restructuring.

Sources said the proposals were expected to be formally outlined to creditors including landlords in the coming weeks.

Publicans have expressed their outrage at Co-op for a "disgraceful" television advert encouraging people to stay at home to watch the football rather than go to the pub.

The 10-second advert suggests people "stay in with two pizzas and four beers" purchased as part of a deal during EURO 2024 rather than go to the pub where, the advert says, it is "hard to see the screen".

In a letter to Co-op's chief executive Shirine Khoury-Haq, the Campaign for Pubs accused the supermarket of "openly and deliberately undermining pubs and publicans' livelihoods".

It added it was "disgusted, as well as deeply angry" that the advert was targeting pubs at a difficult time for the industry.

Nearly 800 pubs entered insolvency in 2023, the highest number in over a decade.

The letter read: "You and your management team must surely be aware of what a challenging time it is for pubs and publicans, yet here you are, a supposedly ethical business, openly and deliberately undermining pubs and publicans' livelihoods at this difficult time. It frankly beggars' belief.

"At the time when businesses in England should be uniting in support of the national football team, the Co-op has instead cynically and shamelessly sought to attack another important business sector to try to boost your own profits from the tournament."

The Campaign for Pubs has called on the Co-op to pull the advert and apologise for the campaign immediately.

But a Co-op spokesperson told the Money blog: "The 10-second advert is a light-hearted way of highlighting to our members and customers that, if they have made the choice to stay in to watch the football, we have a cracking pizza and beer deal they can purchase to enjoy in their homes, with the sole intention of providing great value on relevant products which customers tell us they want, especially at a time when the cost of living is high."

Every Monday we get an expert to answer your money problems or consumer disputes. Find out how to submit yours at the bottom of this post. Today's question is...

"I have booked a holiday for 2026 and paid a small deposit. I have an expiring annual travel insurance policy which would cover the booking if I needed to cancel. Is the travel insurance still valid for the booking, if I choose not to reinsure with them?" Mrs B

Daniel Scognamiglio, partner and travel law team lead at Blake Morgan, said it's the policy in place at the time of the cancellation that is relevant...

"If one policy lapses and you then need to cancel a trip without buying other insurance, you will have no cover for the cancellation.

"There are also other factors to consider, such as the specific policy wording, when the policies were bought, and the reasons behind it.

"It is always advisable to have travel insurance as soon as possible after buying a holiday. Often it is better to have an annual policy that provides cover from the date the holiday is bought and while you are away."

Daniel says most travel policies will pay something towards the cost of the holiday if it must be cancelled for a reason that is not your fault.

He adds: "For example, if you unexpectedly fall ill and are unable to travel. However, it is common for policies not to provide much cover in the event of cancellation. So, it is worth making sure that any cover is for more than the cost of the holiday, in case you do need to cancel.

"It's also important to remember that travel insurance will only cover unexpected events.

"You must have been unaware of any illness (or other reason to cancel the holiday) before buying the travel insurance policy or booking the holiday."

If you knew you had an illness or were about to go through testing when booking your holiday or taking our insurance, you'd have to declare this when buying the policy, as well as any pre-existing medical conditions, Daniel says.

"If you are aware of a medical condition after buying the insurance but before travel, you must also tell your insurers," he explains.
