À Échirolles, des habitants évacués de leur immeuble à cause des dealers

À Échirolles, dans la banlieue de Grenoble , la mairie a donné trois jours aux locataires d'un immeuble du centre-ville pour quitter leur appartement à cause des dégradations commises par les dealers qui squattent l'immeuble et qui l'ont transformé en un immense point de deal. Très abîmé, l'immeuble est devenu trop dangereux et les locataires doivent partir.

La colère des habitants

Depuis mercredi, Amandine Demore, la maire d'Échirolles, rencontre les locataires de l'immeuble pour les convaincre de quitter les lieux. "Monsieur, il y a un danger de mort immédiat et permanent sur l'immeuble à cause des dégradations", annonce-t-elle. "Oui, mais 72 heures pour rassembler ses affaires et partir, c'est incompréhensible !", lui répond un habitant.

"Je sais, mais moi, je suis obligée, je ne veux pas qu'il vous arrive quelque chose", poursuit-elle. Car à l'intérieur, ce sont des dalles de béton arrachées ou des fils électriques dénudés qui pendent aux murs, le résultat de mois d'occupation par les dealers du quartier. Certains logements servent de planques pour la drogue, d'autres hébergent les guetteurs, désormais délogés par la police. "On se dépêche, on quitte les lieux immédiatement !", lance un policier au guetteur. "C'est un individu qu'on connaît, la semaine dernière, il était en train de faire le guetteur à l'extérieur. Là, il va sortir du logement et il va quitter les lieux", affirme-t-il.

Ce départ contraint ne passe pas auprès des habitants comme Rabah. "J'habite ici depuis trois ans, je paie mes loyers... On va trouver des solutions pour faire payer ceux qui n'ont rien fait, comme nous. Les dealers, on n'a qu'à les faire dégager !" Les habitants devront avoir quitté les lieux vendredi au plus tard et pour trois semaines. Ils seront relogés, le temps de faire les travaux de rénovation nécessaires et de chasser les dealers, espère la mairie.

Located in the Isère department, the municipality of Échirolles is part of the suburb of Grenoble . City of over 36 000 inhabitants, it is particularly bordering Claix , Jarrie and Champagnier .

Bathed in an oceanic and continental climate, the city of Échirolles only really developed until the late twentieth century. Former workers' village, she was notably one of the privileged places for the manufacture of viscose. Very urban, the town still has an important architectural heritage indicating a history. Culture is also honored in the Isère city with the presence of many exhibition venues, theaters, or museums.

Green and pleasant, the town of Échirolles is an ideal place to enjoy the charms of the Isere and admire the beautiful mountain scenery.

Friendly and green, the municipality of Échirolles presents great sites to find time for a few rides.

Walking through the city, one can discover the remains of a former commander of the Hospitallers. The building dates from the thirteenth century and was once known as a Templar castle.

Heritage label in the region, the former City Hall Échirolles is also a must in the city. One can also enjoy the charm of Saint-Jacques church in the center of the old village.

Located on the first hill of Échirolles, the Saint-Jacques tower to discover a Roman stele dedicated to Mercury. Formerly a temple was indeed near the castle.

The viscose museum traces the history of the production of this material Échirolles. It takes place on the former industrial site that housed the factory and its workers. Opened in 1992, the museum notably presents collections on work in the factory, the workers' lives, the story of the invention of viscose or the manufacturing process. Temporary exhibitions are also organized regularly.

Geo-Charles museum, named after the writer, journalist and sportsman, was formed from donations from his widow. It presents a particular part of the personal collection of Geo-Charles with works from the first half of the twentieth century and works by Delaunay, Fernand Léger or Derain. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

The mills of Villancourt offer temporary exhibitions.
