The Tour Championship wrapped up the PGA Tour’s 2024 FedEx Cup season this week in Atlanta.

A $100 million purse was on the line, with $25 million going to the winner.

The golf was fabulous, but so was the fashion.

Remember, golf fashion is subjective. No answer is correct; it is all about the person’s perspective.

After seeing these guys at East Lake this week take on the heat and still look fantastic, I found the five best-dressed players.

These five guys were hand-picked by me, the Playing Through golf fashion expert.

The ratings are for the overall week, not just the outfit highlighted, so keep that in mind. The one presented, though, is my favorite.

Let’s get into The Tour Championship’s five best-dressed players.

Best-dressed players from the Tour Championship:

5. adam scott.

Yes, Adam Scott is on the best-dressed list despite taking the same approach he normally does. This Lavender polo with white pants and shoes did it for me. That color is so nice on his skin tone.

HE WORE COLOR! Scott looks fantastic in neutral colors, but this lavender is incredible. Like he is a lavender man. Not many men can pull this off, but Scott can, and I hope he wears this color more often.

The popped collar also made him look like the coolest player on the course. He wanted to save his neck but still looked like a 90s celebrity.

Please, Adam Scott, wear more color because you look so good.

4. Sungjae Im

My traditional best-dressed golfer of the week is Sungjae Im . I love his classic style, and it worked well in Atlanta. The baby blue polo was my favorite. Im also had a gorgeous green and black look earlier in the week, but it was not photographed.

He is someone else who can wear many colors and look good in them. However, I appreciated the simplicity of his scripting this week and thought it was well done.

Rating: 7.8/10

3. Hideki Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama has completely transformed his fashion game in 2024. This scripting in Atlanta was one of my favorites from him. He and Xander Schauffele wear Descente, but Matsuyama’s choices show me how much fun they have. It seems to be boring for Schauffele, but for the Paris Olympics’ Bronze Medalist, they love to put him in color.

Matsuyama’s skin tone works so well with so many different shades, so im glad Descente is a little wilder with him. Even his bright yellow on Sunday won me over. I love that shirt with navy pants. The pink moment and the blue moment were also fantastic for him. It is good to see him away from the obnoxious patterns and choosing to be more mindful.

Rating: 8/10 for the week

2. Viktor Hovland

Viktor Hovland only had one loud color day of fashion, but the rest of the tournament saw him look subtly fashion-forward. The dark, neutral color vibe was different, but his orange polo on Friday and the pattern on Saturday were two of my favorites. Even the Oklahoma State homage on Sunday looked fantastic.

It is nice to see J. Lindeberg still look incredible without it being so in your face. I love the bright stuff from Hovland, but there was just a lovely energy to what he wore this week. Hovland did not play as well this year as in 2023, but the Norweigan is trending in the right direction.

The only downside was that on Sunday, he wore white socks with dark pants and shoes. They stood out and were slightly distracting. That is me being really nitpicky because I loved all four days of his scripting.

Rating: 9.8/10

1. Billy Horschel

Billy Horschel may not have had the week he wanted in Atlanta, but he looked the best out there. He looked flawless.

On Thursday, he wore a red and black outfit, which might be my favorite of his. I missed seeing him in red at The Open when he won best dressed last, so for him to wear it in Atlanta was perfect. He had all black for Friday’s round, and on Saturday, he wore white pants and a great shade of blue polo.

However, it was not just his tournament looks that won me over.

On Tuesday, Horschel gave Georgia Tech a shout-out for beating FSU, one of Florida’s biggest rivals. He wore pink on Wednesday, and it was phenomenal. The stripped polo that was cream and gold screamed Georgia Tech.

I would not change a thing about his scripting this week for Atlanta.

Simply put, it was 10 out of 10, and there were no notes for Horschel.

Rating: 10/10
