These city cards allow you to visit multiple attractions and venues at a discounted rate. There are even passes for different trip lengths and interests, so with the right card, you can save a lot of money on some of Vegas’ most popular attractions.

You can choose a multi-day pass with access to dozens of attractions, or a city card with a longer time limit but access to fewer sights. Depending on which pass you get, you may enjoy VIP access, skip-the-line tickets, free or reduced-price meals, or even discounted day tours to nearby areas like the Grand Canyon.

There are two companies providing this type of card:  Go Las Vegas Pass  and  Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass . Finding the right card can get confusing, so in this article, I’m going to help you choose the best option for your trip.

How to make the most of a Las Vegas pass

If you’re in a rush, I’ll tell you right now that  the 2 or 3-Day Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass is the best option  if it’s your first time in the city and you want to make the most of your time.

If you’re only interested in specific  premium  (higher value) attractions, or you have a longer stay in the city, I recommend buying a 2 or 3-day pass to see the most popular attractions, then using your last few days to book a  day trip from Las Vegas .

Before you purchase a  Las Vegas attraction pass , you want to know exactly what it includes and how it can make your trip to Vegas even better . There are several awesome benefits to these cards, especially if it’s your first time in Sin City or you’re visiting as a group or family:

In this guide, I’m comparing two of the most popular attraction passes, the  Las Vegas Go Card , which offers an All-Inclusive Pass and an Explorer Pass , and the Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass , which gives you the choice of a Flex Pass or Flex Premium Pass.

Don’t worry, I’ll explain which activities each pass includes, as well as the prices, advantages, and disadvantages. By the end of this article, you’ll know which is the  best Las Vegas attraction pass  for you .

The  Go Las Vegas Pass  offers multi-day cards for short-term and long-term visits. Depending on the  Las Vegas Go Card  you choose, you can access over 35 popular amusements and activities, including museums, walking tours, and exhibits. Simply activate your pass online or with the app, and then scan it at each attraction. There is a 90-day refund period for non-activated passes, and you can purchase the card 24 months in advance.

The All-Inclusive Pass is valid for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days, during which you can visit over 25 attractions, including one premium attraction. The Explorer Pass gives you more time (60 days), but it’s limited to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions, none of which are premium. Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive review

Again, the  Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive card  lets you visit as many included attractions as you want per day. There are over 25 to choose from, but you have a time limit (2-5 days). If you purchase a 3, 4, or 5-day pass, you’ll also get admission to one premium attraction. Keep in mind that the All-Inclusive Pass is only valid for 2-5  consecutive  days, so it’s a good idea to plan and make reservations for the activities you want to do.

• Best for : First-time visitors, families
• Pros : Unlimited access to over 25 amusements, you can choose 1 premium attraction
• Cons : Limited time period, only valid for consecutive days

Go Las Vegas Explorer Pass review

Another option is the  Las Vegas Explorer Pass  which offers admission to over 30 top attractions. You’ll also have a longer timeframe to use this pass (60 days), so there is less pressure to cram everything into just a few days. On the downside, you’re limited to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 activities, and none of the  Go Las Vegas Explorer Pass attractions  is premium.

• Best for : People who want to visit specific attractions, long-term stays
• Pros : Longer timeframe, access to more amusements
• Cons : You can only choose 2-7 activities, no premium attractions

This  Vegas sightseeing pass  works much like the Go Card in that once you activate it, you must use it within the specified timeframe. Unused passes are refundable for up to one year, and you can purchase the pass 24 months in advance.

The  Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass  also has two options, the Flex Pass , and the Flex Premium Pass . Both cards are valid for 60 days and allow you to choose 3, 4, 5, or 7 activities, although only the Flex Premium includes premium attractions. There are over 20 amusements to choose from:

Las Vegas Flex Pass

The  Las Vegas Flex Pass  lets you visit any 3, 4, 5, or 7 attractions from over 20 options. You’ll have 60 days to use your card, starting the moment you activate it.

This  Vegas attraction pass  is similar to the Explorer Pass in terms of the number of activities and pricing. While the Flex Pass charges the same rate for adults and kids, it’s cheaper than the Explorer Pass. I’ll share a comparison chart for all these  Vegas city attraction passes  in a bit so you can see the prices side by side. The biggest downside to the Flex Pass is its lack of premium attractions.

• Best for : First-time visitors with an open-ended plan, families with children
• Pros : You have 60 days to use it, there are a few meal vouchers included
• Cons : You’re limited to 3, 4, 5, or 7 activities, no premium attractions are included

Las Vegas Flex Premium Pass

Like the Flex Pass, the  Flex Premium Las Vegas pass  is valid for 60 days and lets you choose 3, 4, 5, or 7 amusements. This  Las Vegas attraction card  gives you 25 activities to choose from, including 4 premium attractions.

This could be the  best Las Vegas attraction pass  if you want to take a day trip to the Grand Canyon or a helicopter night flight over the Vegas Strip. Unlike the Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass, the Flex Premium card doesn’t limit the number of premium attractions you can choose. However, to make up for that, the price for Flex Premium is more than double that of the Flex Pass.

*Due to COVID-19, several activities have been discontinued, so there are only 4 premium attractions currently available.

• Best for : First-time visitors with a plan, people who want to take day tours
• Pros : You have 60 days to use it, includes premium attractions, no limit on how many premium attractions you can choose
• Cons : You’re limited to 3, 4, 5, or 7 activities, it’s more than double the price of the Flex Pass

After reading about all these  Las Vegas passes , you might be wondering which one to choose.  Are Go City cards worth it ? Should you pay extra for the Flex Premium Pass? To help you find the answer, I’ve created this comparison table for the Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass, the Explorer Pass, the Flex Pass, and the Flex Premium Pass.

Here, you can see which card includes the activities you’d most like to do. I’ve also included the regular admission price for each attraction so you can calculate how much you’d save with one of these passes.

I still think the All-Inclusive Pass is the overall  best Las Vegas attraction pass  if it’s your first time visiting the city. The 3-day card will give you enough time to see the most interesting sights, plus you’ll be able to do one premium activity, like a Grand Canyon tour or a helicopter ride .

Getting a  Las Vegas sightseeing pass  can be a great idea, but you need to get the most out of it to make it worth the money. I suggest researching the attractions you’d like to visit (pricing, how much time you’ll need, etc.) and comparing the costs to the price of each pass. This way, you’ll know which sightseeing card will give you the most savings.

Are Las Vegas tourist passes worth it?

As you can see, a  Las Vegas tourist pass  can make it easier to see the city’s coolest attractions without spending a fortune. To get the most out of it, be sure to use it at least 3 times a day and make reservations if you want to do the more popular activities.

Again, my top recommendation for first-timers is the  Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive card . This is the  best Las Vegas attraction pass  if you’re interested in the more expensive (premium) activities and venues.

However, take into account that even if you have more than 3 days, I don’t recommend buying the 4-day or 5-day All-Inclusive Pass, but instead getting a 2-day or 3-day pass and booking a day trip from Las Vegas to fill out the rest of your itinerary.

This information can help you to pick the type of discount service you want.

While some passes are easy to use whenever you want to save money, others will only provide savings on a specific number of attractions.

Make sure to consider whether or not ease of use is more important to you than the cost of the pass itself.

All-Inclusive Pass

This type of attraction pass will provide easy access to dozens of attractions over the course of a specific period of time.

Rather than paying for each individual activity, you will pay for access to the pass for anywhere from 2-5 consecutive days.

The main advantage of an all-inclusive pass is that you can usually use it whenever and wherever you want without pre-purchasing tickets.

At times, you’ll also get skip-the-line access to certain attractions. This can make it a lot easier to see and do everything you want while on vacation.

The main disadvantage of this pass is that it is usually the most expensive option. 

Even so, you can usually save much more money and enjoy many additional activities when you efficiently use an all-inclusive pass.

There are 3 all-inclusive passes to choose from and we detail them here . 

Rather than paying for access to dozens of activities over a 2-5 day period, a flex pass will give you access to 2-7 different attractions for one low price.

If you’re only interested in a few specific services offered by an all-inclusive pass, this could be a great alternative that actually costs less.

The primary advantage of this pass is that you will only be paying for the attractions you want to visit and are sure that you have time for.

If you’d rather not pay a higher price for a pass that includes several services you might not use, you may want to consider this option.

Flex passes are also usually active for much longer than an all-inclusive pass – some for up to 30 days!

As for disadvantages, the fact is that you probably won’t save as much money as you would with an all-inclusive pass. 

In addition to passes that provide access to a variety of different attractions, there are also some services that focus more on specific activities.

These attraction passes will typically offer discounts on food, drinks, nightclubs, day clubs, and even thrill rides.

While some of these passes will only include discounts at specific locations, others offer unlimited admission to rides or clubs in Las Vegas.

Some deals are better than others, and you may even want to consider combining one of the more affordable options with another pass.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for with the all-inclusive, flex, or build-your-own pass, make sure to check these services for additional discounts.

Go C i t y Las Vegas Pass

This attraction pass is similar to the Las Vegas Pass below, though it includes free entry to fewer attractions. 

The card includes  39 attractions including some activities that you won’t find with their competitors.

You also get skip-the-line access to locations like the Stratosphere Tower. With this pass, you can save up to 60% off regular admission prices.

When you purchase a 3, 4, or 5-day pass, you can choose one of the following premium attractions in addition to the standard attractions.

Although the 3-5 day passes are clearly a bit more expensive than the alternative offered by the Las Vegas Pass, these options also include one premium attraction which is worth at least $120.

While their competitors may be a bit cheaper in some cases, they don’t necessarily offer as many activities or as much value.

Even if none of the premium attractions are of interest, you’ll still save more money with a 5-day pass (less than $64 per day) than you will with a 2-day pass (more than $67 per day). 

It's important to note that your number of days starts with your visit to your first attraction.

Your pass must be used on consecutive "calendar" days, not on a 24-hour basis. 

One nice feature of this pass is that you have one year from the date of purchase to activate your pass.

If your trip gets postponed, no problem. You can still use your pass as long as it's within 365 days from purchase. 

Also, if your trip is entirely canceled, the Go City Las Vegas Pass has a risk-free guarantee which allows you to return any passes which have not been activated within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass

This company is quickly becoming one of the most popular discount pass services in the world.

Until recently, they only had a flex pass option in Las Vegas, but they have begun offering an all-inclusive pass as well.

This service is currently available for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days at a time, and it covers the price of admission for more than 20 different activities and attractions.

While this pass is quite similar to what their competitors offer, it doesn't include as many activities.

It will be important to make sure that you can save money on the attractions that interest you before deciding which one to purchase.

As you may have noticed, the 2-day pass is actually less per day than either the 3-day or 4-day pass.

It's also worth noting that the 2-day pass costs less on its own than one of the included activities: the Grand Canyon South Rim Tour.

If you plan to take a tour of the Grand Canyon, you might want to consider the 2-day pass, as anything else you would use the pass for would essentially be free!

Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass

This is the flex pass version of the Go City Las Vegas Pass.

Rather than paying per day, you’ll pay one flat price for either 3, 4, 5, or 7 different attractions. 

You will have a relaxing 30 days in which to visit your choice of attractions.

Although their premium attractions are not included with this pass, you still save up to 55% on popular activities you choose from a list of 45 attractions .

As with other flex passes, it will be important to consider the value of each attraction before choosing what you want to do so that you can save the most money.

The first thing to note is that prices for the Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass are lower than the basic Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass.

You’ll also note that this flex pass includes some popular attractions that are not offered by their competitors, such as Madame Tussauds, a hop-on-hop-off bus tour, and VIP access to the Stratosphere Tower.

The more attractions you choose, the more you will save.

While picking 3 choices will run you about $27 per activity, you’ll only have to pay $20 each if you pick 7 choices.

Although there are a few activities on this list that are already cheaper than that, it’s worth noting that the average value of each attraction is over $46.

In other words, as long as you pick wisely, you’ll save plenty of money with the Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass.

The Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass offers a great deal of flexibility. You can choose which attractions to visit in advance or decide as you go. 

Once it has been activated, you will have 30 days to visit each of the attractions you choose.

Like the Go City Las Vegas Pass, you have one year from the date of purchase to activate your Explorer Pass. 

It also comes with a risk-free guarantee which allows you to return any passes which have not been activated within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

Las Vegas Sightseeing Flex Pass

This pass will allow you to select 3, 4, 5, or 7 different attractions to visit.

Unlike the Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass, this pass is available as both a premium pass and a regular pass.

The premium options include access to special activities such as a Grand Canyon tour or a helicopter ride.

Depending on which attractions you choose, it’s possible to save up to 63% with the Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass.

The average value of each attraction included is around $30, so the 2 attraction pass won’t be worth it unless you choose two of their more expensive services.

In this case, the best way to save is by getting a pass with the most attractions.

The average price you'll pay for each attraction at this level will be about $21, which is a decent discount from the average value of each activity.

One of the biggest advantages of the Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass is that it is fairly open-ended.

You don’t have to use it in any specific order, so you can choose to visit each attraction at your own leisure whenever it fits into your schedule.

In addition, the pass is valid for a full 30 days after it is first validated, so you’ve got a month to decide when you want to enjoy each activity.

Much like many of their competitors, the Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass can be purchased up to 12 months before you intend to use it.

You will have a full year to activate the pass and another month to use it. As a result, this could be a great option for either locals or visitors from out of town.

Las Vegas CityPass

This is one of the more popular companies offering discount passes in multiple cities around the world, but at the moment they do not have such a service in Las Vegas.

That might change in the future, but as of May 2023, there is no such thing as a Las Vegas CityPass.

This service is more of a prepackaged pass, which means it provides access to several fun activities for one low price.

The difference between this and other passes is that you don't really have much choice, and typically at least 2 of the attractions included cannot be switched out for anything else.

As a result, the amount you can save with these tourist passes is limited, but you'll usually enjoy a discount of at least 30% - 40% off.

The most similar service that currently exists in this city is probably the Las Vegas Attractions Pass , which only covers a few specific activities and provides a 10% discount on other tours and attractions.

Alternatively, both flex passes allow you to pick between 2-7 activities, which is around the amount of tickets that a CityPass will offer.

The savings provided by both the Las Vegas Sightseeing Flex Pass and the Explorer Pass are also somewhat similar to what you'd expect to get from a CityPass.

If you're looking for a prepackaged pass like this, we recommend one of the three alternatives suggested above.

By the end of the extended Las Vegas residency, The Eagles will no longer be the “New Kid(s) In Town.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group announced they have tacked on eight (!) additional Friday and Saturday shows to their ‘Eagles — Live In Concert at Sphere’ stint.

Their 16-concert run begins Sept. 20 and now stretches until Dec. 14.

At all gigs, fans can expect an “ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalog in an immersive experience that only Sphere can provide,” according to a press release.

These concerts likely won’t be the group’s last even though no other dates have been announced for their ongoing ‘Long Goodbye’ farewell tour. When the worldwide trek was announced back in July 2023, the band teased that their herculean run would conclude sometime in 2025.

Further, a second press release suggested “(they) will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands.”

In the interim, fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Eagles Sphere shows on sites like Vivid Seats ; the official on-sale is Friday, July 12.

Lawmakers let another year pass without removing taxes on diapers, feminine hygiene products in Missouri

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)—Missouri is one of 21 states taxing diapers and feminine hygiene products as luxury goods.

In this year’s legislative session alone, at least nine bills aimed to reduce or eliminate the taxes on diapers and period products. Although both Democrats and Republicans supported those bills, none of them even made it past committee.

The Diaper Bank of the Ozarks provides diapers and feminine hygiene products, like pads and tampons, to Missourians in need. According to the Diaper Bank, diapers cost about $125 a month for one child, and period products cost about $14 a month.

Program director Tranna Shaughnessy said the Diaper Bank has given away more than 135,000 period products and 1 million diapers this year. But what she’d really like is to make diapers and period products more affordable. Both diapers and feminine hygiene products are taxed at the state’s luxury rate of 4.225%.

“These are not items for comfort or luxury. These are necessities for life,” Shaughnessy said.

Missouri lawmakers, like Rep. Patty Lewis, a Democrat from Kansas City, have tried and failed for years to remove the tax on diapers and period products.

“There was bipartisan support on these types of bills. Unfortunately, I think the super majority just isn’t focused on helping families in need,” Lewis said.

According to the fiscal note on a failed bill, the nearly $6 million the state stands to lose without the tax is a big deterrent to removing it.

“If we put dollars back into these families that are struggling, then they can use those dollars to pay their rent, pay their utilities, and buy their food,” Shaughnessy said. “They’re having to make choices right now. If we can put that money back in their pocket, that’ll be fewer choices they’ll have to make just to survive.”

Lewis said she would continue to introduce bills on this topic if elected to the Missouri Senate despite the challenges of getting them to the finish line.

“It was really eye-opening the impact diaper insecurity has on everyone in the family,” Lewis said.
