The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced an affordable international religious tour package from Lucknow to Nepal by air. Starting June 19 until June 24, the six-day-five-night package has been offered at a moderate price this summer.
Launching the budget-friendly tour package via Twitter, IRCTC shared a poster with all tour details mentioned and wrote: “From Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa to Manakamana Temple explore with IRCTC air tour package starts at. ₹38850/- pp* for 6D/5N. For booking & details, visit http://bit.ly/3MRfC4E @AmritMahotsav”
The cost for the tour package stands at INR 48,500 per head. Booking for two brings down the cost to INR39,000 per person while booking for three or in a group brings the cost further down.

Under the programme, with Indian food and comfortable accommodation in a three-star hotel, interested people can start their journey from the Amausi airport in Lucknow to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Nepal, you will spend 3 nights in Kathmandu and 2 nights in Pokhara. During this time, visitors will be taken to some of the most popular religious sites, like Pashupatinath Temple, Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Muktinath Temple, Vindhyavasini Temple, Seti Gandaki River, Devil’s Waterfall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Barhi Temple, Sarangkot Hilltop, along with several other prominent locations in Pokhara.
Those interested can book the package at the IRCTC Gomtinagar office or on the IRCTC website. The officials said that as per the response received from people, more such planned budget-friendly trips will be organised from Lucknow to Nepal.

IRCTC introduces ‘Awesome Bali’ package from Lucknow
The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled an ‘Awesome Bali’ package for a five-night, six-day journey departing from Lucknow. The journey will start on August 11 and is being offered by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). Among other things, the package includes a cruise as well as sightseeing tours of some of Bali’s top tourist destinations, such as the Kintamani Tour, Ubud Village Tour, and Tanah Lot Temple Tour. The all-inclusive lunch plan can only accommodate 35 persons, according to IRCTC.
Ulwata Temple, Kintamani Village, Ubud Coffee Plantation, Ubud Royal Palace, Ubud Traditional Art Market, Bali Safari & Marine Park with Jungle Hopper Pass, Tanjung Benoa Beach, Turtle Conservation Island, and Tanah Lot for the Sunset Tour are among the places you’ll visit during the five-night, six-day itinerary.
The cost of the package is INR 92,000. Single occupancy costs INR 1,01,400 per person, while double and triple occupancy costs INR 92,700 per person. The cost is INR 88,000 for children aged 5 to 11 with an extra bed and INR 82,550 for children aged 2 to 11 without an extra bed. Children under the age of two will be subject to infant fees (for plane tickets only), which must be paid in full at the airline counter when checking in. A 5% TCS (Tax Collected at Source) payment is included in the package price and will be put into the client’s income tax account.
The IRCTC tourism department also launched Bali packages on September 10 and October 31 from Delhi and Kolkata, in addition to the one from Lucknow. For Delhi, the starting rate for double, triple, and single occupancy is INR 92,500 and INR 99,005, respectively. The cost of the Kolkata package is INR 82,000 for double, triple, and quadruple occupancy and INR 93,000 for single occupancy.

The six-day-five-night package will start from June 19 and end on June 24.
IRCTC Chief Regional Manager (Lucknow) Ajit Kumar Sinha said as part of the programme, people will fly from the Amausi airport here to Kathmandu.
In Nepal, they would be taken to the Pashupatinath temple, the Boudhanath Stupa, the Durbar Square and different locations in Pokhara.
Sinha said an individual will be charged Rs 48,500 for the tour while the cost for two people booking together would be Rs 39,000 each and it would further come down for three people in a group.

The IRCTC package from Lucknow to Nepal will be 5 nights and 6 days and will cost ₹ 48,500 per person. If two people book the package together, they will have to pay Rs 39,000 per person. The rate per person will be further reduced as the number of group members increases. The journey will depart on June 19 from Lucknow Amausi Airport. Guests will fly from Lucknow to Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. The package will include hotel accommodation costs and Indian meals.
