Uluuru Camel tours - worth doing

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The instructions were really clear on how to get on and off the camel. I learned alot about camels in Australia, the history of their arrival (the information displays are really informative too), current day management and care of the herd at the camel park from our guides. They were really informative and personable. We only booked a short ride - we wish we had gone for a longer ride. Best of all we could see Uluuru in the distance during the tour. I would do a tour with this company again if I was to return to Uluuru.

Really enjoyed our sunrise camel tour. The guides were terrific and took extra care to make sure everyone got a great photo. Totally recommend this tour

What a fantastic experience Camel riding was. My husband and i did a sunset ride on 15th March 2024. Firstly, we had booked for the 14th March but due to another tour which exhausted me (due to heat) the Mikaela kindly and quickly rescheduled our tour to the following day (without any questions). WOW, we arrived to see the camels lined up ready for our sunset tour. We were all given very clear instructions on what to do, how to mount, dismount, and a bunch of other safety instructions. We were so lucky to have (cant remember her name) the French lady with long dred locks (love her to bits) and she entertained us the whole way with stories of her life with Camels. She was ready to answer any questions we had. Off we went into the red desert. We stopped on a hill overlooking Uluru and she kindly took our phones and took wonderful photos for us. Such a kind person. The one photo that made us laugh was she took photos of the CAMELS TOE. HAHA. We watched the sun setting and made our way back to the farm. So sad it was all over. We were then given food, damper, dips, cold beer, soft drinks and wine. I am gluten free and they even made me gluten free bread. I highly recommend this tour over any that we did and would not hesitate to experience this tour again should we ever return. Please do yourself a favour and BOOK

We had a great morning at the sunrise ride. The camels are friendly, gentle and easy to ride. We are in our 60's and had no trouble. Dan and Degan shared their stories and the stories of each of our camels. Magnificent morning.

This is another must-do whilst you’re in Uluṟu!! Felt safe and comfortable all the way. Camels are treated very nicely and the people that work there really cares about animal welfare. Such a cool farm and the camels were adorable. They talk about some history about the camels on the way and the sunset is amazing. Great food afterwards and there’s very cheap souvenirs here. I did it solo and got my own camel. We watched the sunset over Kata Tjuṯa which was absolutely stunning. They also take pictures of you!

This is the best place to begin your Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park exploration at the Cultural Centre. It is a community-supportive hub providing a deeper understanding of Anangu culture and the park’s natural wonders. We suggest allowing about two hours to fully appreciate the Centre’s offerings, including the Tjukurpa Tunnel, showcasing Anangu culture’s foundations.

There is an onsite eatery—the Ininti Cafe, which offers food and souvenirs, while the Nintiringkupai Information Room provides multilingual displays of the park’s history and environment.
