DTC daily operates Sight Seeing Tours from Scindia House. The fare of Delhi Darshan Service AC bus is Rs.200/- for adult and Rs.100/- for the children between the age of 5 –12 years. However the children will not be entitle for seat in the bus.

The time of journey will be from 0915 to 17.45 hrs..

The tourist bus will start from DTC Office Scindia House then pick-up Tourists from Information Kiosk of Delhi Tourism Baba Kharak Singh Marg and thereafter from ITDC Office at Janpath for onward journey to the tourist places as per the following program.

It also has the Amar Jawan Jyoti which was built to honour India soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the war of 1971. India Gate was originally designed by Edwin Lutyens in the honour of 70,000 soldiers of British Indian Army who lost their lives in the First World War while it was later dedicated to the country by Lord Irwin.

5. Akshardham Temple

Another majestic temple that will capture your attention on your Delhi Darshan is the Akshardham Temple. Inspired by HH Yogiji Maharaj and constructed by the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) in the year of 2005, this temple preaches unity and compassion. It boasts of being the largest comprehensive Hindu Temple in the world. It has been recognised by the Guinness World Record.

6. Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is another sightseeing place in Delhi that you cannot miss while on your Delhi Darshan by car. As the name suggests, it was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak as the symbol of victory. However, this pillar was later completed by Iltutmish while its top most floor was reconstructed by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. It has five floors.

8. Rashtrapati Bhawan

10. Iron Pillar

Located inside the Qutub complex, Iron Pillar is said to be more than 1600 years old. The most striking feature of this pillar is that in spite of being in an open area for decades all together, it hasn't rusted. It has a height of 24 feet and made up of 6 tons with 98 percent wrought iron.

Parliament house is situated near the secretariat buildings along the north western side of Vijay Chowk. This building is the work center and standing symbol of largest democracy in the world.  The structure of building consists of a Central hall with a Dome shaped top and three semi circular chambers. These chambers were initially constructed with an aim to accommodate the state legislative assembly, council of state and princely chambers.

India Gate is a forty two meter high arch designed by the popular architect Edwin Lutyens as a memorial to commemorate the sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the First World War It is located at Rajpath. The names of the soldiers who laid down their lives have been inscribed on the arch. The eternal flame or the Amar Jawan Jyoti burns as a mark of respect for under the shelter of the arch. The memorial is covered by green lawns, water bodies and fountains. It is a popular picnic spot and place of Defence interest located at the center of Delhi.

National Gallery of Modern Art
