The Professional Bull Riders Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour is returning to Portland, Oregon in 2025. The world class athletes are once again taking over Moda Center and you simply mustn't miss it. The tour has expanded from a one-night event into two full nights of non-stop action and this return to Portland is unmissable.

Since its inception in 2014, the Velocity Tour has given the young and up-coming talent a real chance to compete against the sports' biggest guys. If a rising star wins the Velocity tour, they are given the opportunity to play at one Premier Series event during the season. And if they win at that event once again, they're given a real chance at earning a full-time spot in the tour. This goes to say that the Velocity Tour is where stars are made!

In last season's event, Dawson Branton from Jefferson, Oregon took home the crown in front of his home state crowd after successfully going 2-for-2. He successfully scored 115.5 points and soared to No. 2 in the Velocity Global standings. A big woo-hoo for all the people of Oregon! Who knows, maybe something as spectacular as Branton's success will happen once again in the 2025 event.

Up and coming bull riders just like Branton will be in attendance at next season's Velocity Tour in an attempt to win the event and climb the rankings. For the show happening on Friday, the 3rd of January, 2025, Round 1 will see all 40 bull riders ride a bull and aim for the highest score.

Professional Bull Riders Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour

The Professional Bull Riders announced its 2024 competition schedule for the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, set to bring some of bull riding’s preeminent talents to 30 cities across 20 states, headlined by a historic 11 double-up event weekends.  The PBR will bring all the high-energy sound, lighting, special effects, and edge of your seat excitement that fans have come to expect from the world leader in the sport of bull riding.

Purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster .* Ticketmaster and the Nutter Center Box Office are the only authorized ticket sellers for Nutter Center events.

Tickets go on-sale to the public on Friday, November 3rd.

About The Event

The PBR’s Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) began in 2014 as the premier expansion tour for the PBR. The Velocity Tour, the sport’s fastest-growing tour, brings the excitement and top-levels of cowboy and bovine talent that fans have come to expect from the sport to cities across the United States. The PWVT is proudly supported by Pendleton Whisky, Boot Barn, Cooper Tires, Rank 45, South Point Hotel & Casino, Tractor Supply, Kubota, the United States Border Patrol, Zip Recruiter and GovX. Every Velocity Tour event is carried on PBR RidePass on Pluto TV, PBR’s flagship digital network.

NO WATER BOTTLES No water bottles brought into the venue. 

NO WEAPONS No weapons including pocket knives and tasers. These items will be confiscated and not returned.

TICKET DELIVERY : Pinnacle Bank Arena tickets purchased online will be mobile delivery.

MOBILE TICKETS : Your mobile phone is your ticket. Your tickets  will not  be available for print or emailed to you. To access your ticket(s):  Download the Ticketmaster App or visit Ticketmaster.com on your mobile phone; log in to your Ticketmaster account and locate the order with your tickets; tap and show at the entrance into the event. Your phone will be scanned for entry and you’re in!
