NBC Sports airs every stage of the 110th Tour de France, including live daily start-to-finish coverage on Peacock .

The Tour began July 1 with the Grand Départ in Spain before crossing into France on the third stage.

The Tour covers France’s five biggest mountain ranges, including eight mountain stages and four summit finishes.

The Tour will not have a time trial on the penultimate day as it did the last three years. Instead, the 20th stage, usually the last competitive stage for the yellow jersey, includes five significant climbs.

This is the first Tour since 2009 to include the last three men to win a Tour. That’s Dane Jonas Vingegaard, who went from a fish-packing facility worker years ago to the top of pro cycling in 2022; Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, who in 2020 became at 21 the second-youngest winner in race history, then repeated in 2021, and Colombian Egan Bernal, who in 2019 became the first South American to win the Tour.

Mark Cavendish, a 38-year-old Brit aiming to break his tie for the career Tour de France stage wins record of 34, crashed out in the eighth stage of his final Tour.

It's the final day of this year's race, and – with the battle for the yellow jersey effectively over – Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) has achieved his second victory in a row. The sprinters will be out for glory in Paris, however, so you'll be looking for a Tour de France live stream so you can watch the action from the finish line as it happens. Saturday's stage 20 between Moûtiers and Bourg-en-Bresse was won by two-time Tour winner Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates). That meant that second-placed Pogačar, who had been neck-and-neck with Vingegaard until Tuesday's time trial, claimed back a few seconds in the General Classification , but not enough to make a significant dent on Vingegaard's seven-minute lead. Pogačar's UA teammate, Adam Yates, will occupy the third step on the podium.

Sunday's final stage takes the riders on a 115km route from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines to Paris, culminating on the famous Champs-Élysées. Alpecin-Deceuninck  will surely be trying to get their green jersey wearer, Jasper Philipsen, in contention for a sprint finish, with the rider trying to secure his fifth stage stage win of this year's Tour. The most convenient way to watch the Tour de France for free is by using an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to pick up your local NBC station. Unfortunately, NBC doesn’t show a lot of race coverage—mostly encore presentations of early and late stages. But it never hurts having an antenna in your TV setup.

It's the biggest race of them all, but these days, the Tour de France means one thing: Tadej Pogačar vs Jonas Vingegaard. Between them the duo have won the last three editions of the race, with Vingegaard taking the 2022 race for Team Jumbo–Visma and Pogačar winning in 2020 and 2021.

In the most recent action, Vingegaard left Pogačar in the dust, gaining six minutes on his rival in the final climb. Pogačar called it "one of the worst days of my life on the bike."

Vingegaard is still in the lead, and fended off some anti-doping questions at the end of Stage 19. Two more stages remain, and Pogačar is still in second, with Adam Yates is in third.

When is the Tour de France 2024? How to watch and the latest odds with Tadej Pogacar the bookies' favourite

W ith five weeks to go until the 2024 Tour de France , Tadej Pogacar is the bookies’ favourite to win the yellow jersey — having won the Giro d’Italia emphatically.  

The Slovenian is looking to add to his 2020 and 2021 Tour titles, which will be easier if rival Jonas Vingegaard fails to recover from crash injuries sustained in the Itzulia Basque Country tour earlier this year.

Danish rider Vingegaard, the 2022 and 2023 Tour winner, is facing a race against time to be fit and is not on the start list for next week's Critérium du Dauphiné — a warm-up race. 

Other yellow jersey contenders Remco Evenepoel and Primož Roglič, who also both crashed on the Basque tour, have recovered to make the Critérium .

It could make for an interesting 111th edition of the race with or without its biggest names when the racing gets under way next month. 

Here is all you need to know about the 2024 Tour de France.

When is the Tour de France 2024? 

The Tour will begin with a hilly stage from Florence to Rimini in Italy on Saturday, June 29. 

From there, riders will race for 21 days and have two rest days, culminating in a time trial in Nice on Sunday, July 21. 

What is the route for the Tour?

After the four days in Italy, the Tour will cross the border to Valloire France on Tuesday, July 2 — the first high mountain stage.

It is the first time the race has had its Grand Depart in Italy. In another first, the riders will cross into San Marino on an early stage. 

The Tour will finish outside Paris for the first time as the French capital is preparing to host the Olympic Games and the Paralympics this summer.

The final stage in Nice will be a time trial, meaning the general classification order will go down to the last day. 

While usually the last day is something of a ceremony before a sprint, in 2024 it will be the second of two long time trials. 

The tough route will take in summit finishes in the French Alps, featured earlier than usual, Massif Central and the Pyrenees. Stage nine will also feature 32 kilometres (20 miles) of gravel roads. 

The severity of the stages and lack of flat finishes is bad news for sprinters including Britain's Mark Cavendish — who is seeking a record-breaking 35th Tour stage win. 

Eight stages identified as ‘flat’ could give sprinters such as Cavendish reasons to hope — but only if they can stay in the race over the mountains and make time cuts. 

The Manx rider told the Guardian : “There’s a few [sprint stages] but you’ve got to get to them — that’s the problem. 

“It’s so hard. I’m in a bit of shock, actually.”

How can I watch the Tour de France? 

ITV 4 and ITV X will be showing the Tour de France live from June 29 to July 21 with highlights shows every evening — usually at 7pm. 

In previous years, the shows have been presented by Gary Imlach with input and commentary from David Millar and Ned Boulting. 

ITV will also broadcast Critérium du Dauphiné highlights from June 4 to 11. 

Who are the bookmakers’ favourites for the 2024 Tour de France? 

Bookmakers are in an unusual position and taking bets on a race scenario with and without defending champion Jonas Vingegaard taking part. 

Oddschecker does not have the option of betting on the Dane winning the yellow jersey.

However, the odds of other contenders do shorten if he does not make the start line. 

The full list of riders will be confirmed nearer the start of the race.

Tadej Pogacar: Odds to win with Vingegaard in race (4/11) without Vingegaard (1/2)

The Slovenian is in red-hot form and could add to his two yellow jerseys. 

Primož Roglič: Both with and without Vingegaard (9/2)

Another Slovenian who has won the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana in the past but never the Tour de France, despite coming second in 2020. 

Remco Evenepoel: With and without Vingegaard (10/1)

The Belgian has previously won the Giro and is an all-rounder. 

Juan Ayuso: With and without Vingegaard (16/1)

The Spanish youngster is a teammate of Pogacar at UAE Team Emirates and could step up should misfortune strike the Slovenian but is otherwise on domestique duty.

À quelque semaines du départ du Tour de France, La 76 e édition du Critérium du Dauphiné se déroulera du 2 juin au 9 juin 2024.

Les coureurs prendront le départ de Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule pour aller au bout des 8 étapes jusqu’au Plateau des Glières.

Au programme de cette édition un contre-la-montre, des arrivées pour les sprinteurs mais également des cols comme le Col des Saisies, le Col de la Colombière ou encore le Collet d'Allevard.

Répétition générale avant le Tour de France pour les coureurs qui visent les grosses places cet été, comme Primoz Roglic, Remco Evenepoel. On retrouve également des coureurs français avec David Gaudu ou encore Guillaume Martin.

Gravement blessé en début d'année, Jonas Vingegaard ne sera pas au départ de la course qu'il a remporté l'année dernière.

It's almost time to throw your winter and spring fitness out of the window, as you settle in to sit on the couch watching three weeks of wall-to-wall coverage of the 2024 Tour de France – plus another week in August for the Tour de France Femmes.

This year, there's something a little different on offer with the Grand Départ in Florence, and another three Italian stage starts before the race enters France.

Although it skirts Paris, it never makes it to the Champs-Élysées, heading back to finish in Nice.

If you’ve got five-plus hours to spend each day, you can watch the entire men's race end-to-end in many territories. For the more time-pressed, plenty of highlight options compress the day’s action to an hour or so.

If you’re really stuck for time, daily five-minute highlights on the Le Tour website – which are also posted to YouTube – will keep you abreast of all of the action.

Unlike many other big cycling races, terrestrial broadcasters pay attention to the Tour de France, so you can watch at least some of it subscription-free in most territories. There's a full list of broadcasters by country on the official Le Tour site.

There’s also the option to use a VPN to stream from a country with free terrestrial coverage, although most VPNs with decent geographic coverage and streaming speeds will require a subscription and you may have to listen to commentary in French.

How can I watch the Tour de France live in the UK?

In the UK, ITV4, and Eurosport/Discovery+ are broadcasting live. ITV4 is free to air, as is S4C for Welsh speakers.

Eurosport requires a subscription: £6.99 per month or £59.99 per year.

There's coverage on TG4 in the Republic of Ireland.

How can I watch the Tour de France live in the US?

Viewers in the US can enjoy daily coverage on NBC Sports and Peacock. You can watch on NBC on demand too – there's no additional charge above your cable, satellite or telco TV provider's subscription cost.

Peacock access requires a subscription to its premium tier, priced at $5.99 plus tax per month. There's currently a deal at $19.99 for a year's access for new subscribers.

How can I watch the Tour de France live in Australia?

Cycling fans in Australia can enjoy every stage live on SBS . Handily, there’s a free on-demand service if you’re not an insomniac, while there are daily highlights on the SBS Sport website. There's coverage and more on the SBS Tour Tracker app too.

Stages and start times

Like the race itself, stage start times are a moveable feast, with starts as early as 11.15am CET and as late as 2.40pm CET.

End times will vary significantly too, depending on stage length, how hard the terrain is and how fast it’s ridden.

Fortunately, the Tour de France has organised a few of these races before, so it’s got a pretty good idea of when the first riders are likely to reach the finish.

Again, that’s highly variable – anything from 4.28pm CET to 7.30pm CET, so you need to be on your toes to make sure you're watching early enough not to miss the end-stage action.

If you want to see particular action, the time the race is expected to reach intermediate points is set out on the site too, right down to railway level crossings and tiny villages in la France profonde .

Les Jeux Olympiques d’été sont une manifestation multisport. Ils se tiennent normalement tous les quatre ans, en juillet ou en août.

Les Jeux Olympiques d’hiver sont également organisés tous les quatre ans, en hiver pour la ville hôte, les compétitions multisports se déroulant sur la neige et la glace.

Ces deux Jeux sont organisés par le Comité International Olympique.

En quelle année les Jeux Olympiques ont-ils commencé ?

Les premiers Jeux ont eu lieu en 1896 à Athènes , en Grèce.

Qui a inventé les Jeux Olympiques ?

L'histoire des Jeux remonte à l'Antiquité et prend ses racines en Grèce dans le Péloponnèse, il y a environ 3000 ans. Des concours sportifs organisés à Olympie avaient lieu tous les quatre ans et ont pris le nom de Jeux Olympiques. On ne sait pas précisément quand ils ont commencé, mais la date de 776 av. J.-C. est souvent citée dans les sources écrites. Les raisons exactes de la naissance des Jeux restent aujourd'hui inconnues car l'histoire se mêle à la mythologie. En 1894, Pierre de Coubertin lance son projet de rénovation des Jeux Olympiques et en 1896 a lieu la célébration des 1ers Jeux de l'ère moderne, à Athènes.

Roland-Garros 2024 : Nadal éliminé d’entrée par Zverev, Monfils, Gracheva et Parry sauvent le terne bilan des Français… Revivez la journée du lundi 27 mai

L’Espagnol a été battu en trois sets par l’Allemand, lundi, aux Internationaux de France. Huit Tricolores ont également chuté pour leur entrée en lice dans le tournoi.

Le résumé du lundi 27 mai à Roland-Garros

• C’était l’affiche de la journée : Rafael Nadal entrait en lice face à la tête de série n °4, Alexander Zverev . Si l’Espagnol s’est montré très combatif durant toute la partie, il n’a rien pu faire face à son adversaire du jour. A coup de revers puissants et de services ultrarapides, l’Allemand s’est imposé en trois sets : 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. A la fin de la rencontre, « Rafa » a déclaré que Roland-Garros resterait à jamais le tournoi qu’il « aimait le plus au monde » mais qu’ « il y a un fort pourcentage de chances » qu’il « ne revienne pas ici ».
• Plus tôt dans la journée, l’Italien Jannick Sinner , tête de série n °2 et parmi les favoris du tableau simples masculin, a remporté son match face à l’Américain Christopher Eubanks en trois manches (6-3, 6-3, 6-4). Il retrouvera Richard Gasquet au prochain tour. Chez les hommes, pas de grandes surprises à signaler sinon : Tsitsipas , Auger-Aliassime ou encore Kachanov se sont notamment imposés.
• Dans le tableau féminin, la Tunisienne Ons Jabeur a aussi réussi son entrée en dominant l’Américaine Sachia Vickery sur le Philippe-Chatrier. Au même titre que la numéro 1 mondiale Swiatek mais aussi la tête de série n °3  Coco Gauff .
• Côté Français, il a fallu attendre longtemps pour célébrer la première victoire de la journée. Très, même trop longtemps. La lumière est venue de Varvara Gracheva , qui, en début de soirée, a surpris la tête de série n °6  Maria Sakkari (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) sur le court Simonne-Mathieu. Diane Parry s’est aussi qualifiée pour le second tour en remportant l’affiche franco-française de la soirée contre Fiona Ferro (3-6, 6-3, 6-3). Enfin, la seule victoire chez les hommes est à mettre au crédit de Gaël Monfils , qui a plutôt bien géré sa rencontre sur le central contre le Brésilien Seyboth Wild (6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4). Gaston, Fils, Van Assche, Jeanjean, Ponchet, Burel, Ferro et Jacquemot ont de leur côté perdu.

Il est 23 h 06 mais on savoure. Gaël Monfils remporte sa rencontre contre le Brésilien Seyboth Wild en quatre manches (6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4). Si l’on oublie son trou d’air dans le deuxième set, le Français s’est montré très solide durant toute la partie. Il retrouvera l’Italien Lorenzo Musetti, spécialiste de la terre battue, au deuxième tour.

Le Français n’est plus qu’à un jeu du match. Allez, il faut conclure ! C’est un pénalty à la 90 e minute que tu t’apprêtes à tirer Gaël.

Il jouait à quelle époque ce Paul valery ?

Il s’est essayé au tennis au 19 e siècle mais a vite troqué sa raquette pour une plume. Il a plutôt bien fait.

Le break pour Monfils au meilleur des moments

Le Français se rapproche de la victoire. Très fort en défense, il pousse Seyboth Wild à la faute et lui prend son jeu de service. La Monf’ mène 4 jeux à 3. Peut-on dire que ça sent bon ?

Est-ce que le match de Gaël est le dernier ou il y a encore d'autres joueurs en bagarre sur les autres courts ?!

Gaël n’est pas le seul à se « bagarer ». Grâce aux éclairages, les matchs à Roland peuvent désormais s’étendre. Trois autres matchs sont en cours.

Bonsoir, je vous rejoins en cours de (dé)route. Ma question sera simple : y aura-t-il des Français au 3ème tour ?

2 jeux partout dans la quatrième manche

Monfils semble vraiment au-dessus de son adversaire du jour. Quand il accélère, Seyboth Wild n’y est plus du tout. Mais le Français se montre un peu nonchalant par moments. Attention que cela ne lui joue pas de tour…

Le Brésilien a l'air bien dans Seyboth.

Quelle version de Monfils préférez-vous ?

Nous, on sait !

Pour la Wild Car à Roland-Garros, il vous faut une adresse postale ?

Et nous adresser également l’adversaire contre qui vous voulez jouer au premier tour. On peut s’arranger.

Bon, plus aucun Français n’est sur les courts excepté Monfils. Ils sont tous à l’hôtel pour se reposer, ou dans le train pour partir en vacances après une défaite (ici, on opte plus pour la deuxième option).

D’ailleurs, Monfils vient de louper 2 balles de break dans la quatrième manche. Mais bon, ce n’est pas très grave, il a ensuite expédié son jeu de service : un jeu partout.

• Les têtes d’affiche du jour

Les stars seront au rendez-vous un peu partout, mais tous les yeux seront tournés vers une seule affiche, celle opposant le maître des lieux, Rafeal Nadal, à l’Allemand Alexander Zverev, n o  4 mondial. La tenante du titre, Iga Swiatek, entre également en lice, face à la Française Léolia Jeanjean, tout comme Coco Gauff (n o  3), Ons Jabeur (n o  8), Daniil Medvedev (n o  5) et Jannik Sinner (n o  2), le vainqueur de l’Open d’Australie.

• Le coin des Français

Léolia Jeanjean aura donc le périlleux honneur d’affronter Swiatek, alors que Gaël Monfils animera la night session contre le Brésilien Thiago Seyboth Wild. Au programme également, les premiers coups de raquette de la quinzaine d’Arthur Fils (n o  29), Luca Van Assche, Hugo Gaston, Jessika Ponchet, Océane Dodin, Clara Burel et Fiona Ferro.
