Swifties, this is what you've been waiting for!

After bringing her Eras Tour concert film to the big screen in the United States and Canada on Thursday (Oct 12), a day earlier than planned due to unprecedented demand, Taylor Swift is taking over movie theatres globally on Friday (Oct 13).

In Malaysia, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is set to open on Nov 3 as confirmed by Golden Screen Cinemas on its Facebook and Instagram page.

The Eras Tour movie tickets in Malaysia are available for purchase starting from Oct 18 at noon. Tickets are priced at RM65 for all GSC locations and start from RM155 for the Aurum Theatre.

Don't miss the chance to see concert film as the Anti-Hero hitmaker herself is not bringing her show to Malaysia.

US media reported that the Eras Tour movie is set to run for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

"The concert itself runs for more than 3 hours and 15 minutes, which means parts of the show are cut out from the film".

Taylor Swift announced Thursday night during her Eras Tour show in Liverpool, England, that her behemoth concert tour will officially end its unprecedented run in December, presumably after her Dec. 6-8 shows at the BC Palace in Vancouver, British Columbia.

"This is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is gonna end in December. Like, that's it," Swift said in a speech onstage during the "Red" set.

"That feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour," she continued.

Swift said the Eras Tour has "become my entire life" and "taken over everything," including her hobbies, which have been replaced with sitting at home and trying "to think of clever, like, acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear" during the "surprise song" set of her show.

From the stage, Swift also acknowledged that Thursday's show was the 100th on the Eras Tour ( on June 13, no less ). She called the experience the "most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life, this tour, these moments with you."

The Eras Tour, which started March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, has spanned five continents. When the tour wraps, Swift will have performed 152 shows. The tour has broken records and yielded (a few versions of) a concert tour movie that broke records in its own right .

Thursday's comments were the first time Swift has announced an end date to her beloved Eras Tour, which she had been adding dates to over the last year.

It’s unclear what she will be up to next, but any true Swiftie knows it’s sure to be enchanting.

Swift continues her European run this weekend in Liverpool before a rare Tuesday show in Cardiff, Wales, followed by shows in London next week.

It's an epic story, a sweeping saga and a lot to take on.

"I like the situations they were dealing with that were horrifying and sudden, and I like the humanity of it, and that it could exist," Costner said. "We're not too different than the people going west, and they went west for hope. But they went into a land that was hostile, even in its nature, and people who had been there for thousands of years."

Costner very much enjoys Westerns.

"I like seeing how people would arbitrate their problems if there was no law around. You see how people behave when they realize they can just take something if they're strong enough or mean enough," he said. "It feels ugly and wrong, and it's going to require somebody who's not violent to stand up to it."

Costner said the challenge is always to entertain.

"This isn't just a piece of refrigerator art that my mom will put on the fridge. People are coming on their vacations to the theater to go in and get transported," he said.

The film features a sweeping landscape. It was shot in Utah.

"It's maybe a good reminder that these places still exist; maybe, we should protect them," Costner said. "That's the spirit of environmentalism to me, something that moves me, that my children 50 years from now can be moved by. It's worth protecting."

"The Untouchables" is a Costner favorite, and he loved shooting in Chicago.

"Chicago is always a good place to come; I've never seen a big city feel more like a neighborhood," Costner said. "Your ball team plays in a neighborhood, not in the city, in a neighborhood. And summers, walking at night, there's nothing like it."

When studios wouldn't back the movie project, Costner used his own money to make the films.

He not only stars in them, but wrote and is directing and producing them.

"Horizon: An American Saga" part one opens June 28. The second movie comes out in August.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul celebrated their first wedding anniversary on January 23. However, nearly five months after the celebrations, the pictures of the couple’s private dinner to mark the special occasion have now emerged online.

The Private Chef’s Club recently shared a bundle of photos from their dinner date and revealed, “Couldn’t keep this core memory private anymore. Chinese premier arrives in Malaysia for official visit

KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived here Tuesday for an official visit to Malaysia, the third and last leg of his eight-day tour that has taken him to New Zealand and Australia.

Li said upon arrival that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, China-Malaysia relations have maintained sound development, as strategic mutual trust has been continuously consolidated, cultural and people-to-people exchanges have become ever closer, and high-quality Belt and Road cooperation has yielded fruitful results, which have brought tangible benefits to the two peoples and contributed to regional peace and development.

Li noted that last year, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reached an important consensus on jointly building a China-Malaysia community with a shared future, opening a new chapter in China-Malaysia relations.

China is willing to work hand in hand with Malaysia, taking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties as a new starting point to further strengthen the alignment of development strategies, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance civilization exchanges and mutual learning, and continuously push forward the building of the China-Malaysia community with a shared future, so as to make greater contributions to peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the region and worldwide, Li said.

Li arrived in Kuala Lumpur after concluding an official visit to Australia and holding the ninth China-Australia Annual Leaders' Meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

During his stay in Malaysia, Li will have talks with Malaysia's King Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and Prime Minister Anwar, and attend an event commemorating the 50th anniversary.

In the world of celebrity documentaries, hagiographies reign supreme. Rare is the film that fulfills its promises of intimacy, vulnerability and never-before-seen perspectives. The films are generally risk-avoidant exercises that have perfected the optical illusion of making subjects seem closer than they actually are.

In I Am: Celine Dion , the singer demonstrates the extent of her readiness. Directed by Irene Taylor ( Leave No Trace, Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements ), the film builds on the confessional energy of the Instagram video by inviting fans to bear witness to her struggles with SPS. It is at once a moving tribute to Dion’s legacy, a peek into how this condition has challenged her gifts and an attempt to help the pop star wrestle with what this means for her future.

Taylor, working with DP Nick Midwig, fashions a verité-style documentary that keeps audiences close to Dion as she hangs out with her children, undergoes extensive rehab and immunotherapy and tries to rebuild her sense of self. What does it mean that her body’s internal war has debilitated her voice, which she calls “the conductor of her life?”

This introduction makes immediately clear the degree to which Dion’s life has changed with SPS. No longer can the balladeer fiercely belt the tearful lyrics of her heavyweight discography for hours. She can no longer record three songs in a night or put on performances of a lifetime week after week.

Dion sings in registers that require less work, as demonstrated later when she records a track for the Netflix movie Love Again starring Priyanka Chopra. Taylor and her editors Richard Comeau and J. Christian Jensen stitch together a number of Dion’s session takes to show the effort required for the singer to do what once came so naturally. Through moments like these the director builds an affecting project of contrasts: A portrait of Dion, past and present. 

When Taylor and Dion dig into the past, the results are edifying. A trip to the singer’s warehouse, stocked with costumes, shoes and other memorabilia from her decades-long career, is a chance to review her legacy. Dion, now 56, rummages through the items while highlighting key moments in her career. She talks about her relationship to fashion, remarking with a wink that her shoe size ranges from a 6 to a 10 because she doesn’t mind suffering for the perfect piece.

The “we” is critical. Throughout I Am: Celine Dion , the Canadian singer expresses profound gratitude for members of her team, from the people who helped stage her tours to the medical professionals, including Dr. Amanda Piquet, helping her manage SPS. There are no interviews with this supporting cast, however. I Am: Celine Dion doesn’t supplement its subject’s testimony with anyone. Instead, like that Instagram video from 2022, it functions as a direct communion between herself and her fans. 

Dion genuinely believes in the power of moving farther together. “I didn’t invent myself, I didn’t create myself,” the Québecoise singer says at one point in the documentary. One wonders if this commitment to teamwork stems from a childhood spent with a big family. Dion was born in Québec to a family of 14 children. According to the singer, her parents worked hard to make sure the kids would never be aware of any suffering. Her mother invented dishes when there was little food in the fridge and Dion counts her siblings as her first audience.

I Am: Celine Dion steadies itself when it returns to the intersection of Dion’s career with her medical condition. The film highlights just how much music means to the singer. She uses any opportunity — creating a get well video with her sons, doing physical therapy — to break into song.

In interviews, Dion works through her anxieties and concerns. She worries about not being able to control her voice in the same way or whether or not she has the energy to live life as she once knew it. There are moments in the doc when the singer, in the middle of an activity, will remark on her legs and other parts of her body feeling sore or tired.

The film is as much about the singer as it is about the realities of living with a chronic illness. Taylor does not shy away from sitting in on difficult points in Dion’s life, including one painful scene in which the singer seizes up after a busy and overstimulating afternoon. Her foot stiffens first and then her entire body locks in place. As her doctor moves Dion to lie on her side and urges her to take deep breaths, tears stream down the singer’s face.

This palpable and visceral glimpse into her pain is a jolting reminder of the toll this condition has taken on Dion not just as a star but as a person.
