Dropkick Murphys have now announced the full run of dates for Pega Presents...Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick's Day 2023 Tour. The full-throttle rock tour launches March 1 in Charlotte and culminates with four hometown Boston shows, March 16, 17, 18 & 19. The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern open most shows.

The DKM St. Patrick's Day Tour's hometown shows in Boston include March 16, 17 and 18 at the new MGM Music Hall at Fenway and March 19 at House Of Blues Boston. Very special guests Turnpike Troubadours join Dropkick Murphys for all three shows at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, while Nikki Lane also joins the bill on March 16. Tickets for March 17, 18 and 19 are sold out, but a limited number of tickets are still available for the March 16 show, which was added due to fan demand.

Dropkick Murphys' current theater tour and new album This Machine Still Kills Fascists have received widespread praise from fans and media. In a recent show review, Americana Highways noted: "The record itself, backed by [Woody] Guthrie's kindred, rebellious spirit, hit as hard as anything the Murphys have ever done...Throughout the show, the new songs hit as well as the old favorites."

In a review of the new album This Machine Still Kills Fascists, No Depression summed up Dropkick Murphys' connection not only to Guthrie's lyrics but to his working class ethos: "No current act has done more to preserve and advance the legacy of Woody Guthrie...Nearly 60 years since his death, the struggles of working men and women and political oppression continue unabated. Those in need remain unheard by people in power. But much like Woody Guthrie, Dropkick Murphys are still out there fighting the good fight."

As a special bonus for fans, on November 19 at 9 pm CT, Dropkick Murphys will live stream the last night of their current This Machine...Theater Tour from Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, best known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Dropkick Murphys have unveiled a Spring 2023 tour to go along with their annual St. Patrick’s Day shows in Boston and tickets are shipping out to sale soon. The all-out electric event follows their folk-centered fall acoustic tour in support of their latest LP, This Machine Still Kills Fascists .

What Is Dropkick Murphys’ Next Tour?

Dropkick Murphys still have some live engagements left on the 2022 schedule, including a headlining night at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. They’ll kick off 2023 with a European leg starting in Belfast on January 13th. Following a stop in Dublin, the band embarks on a UK run that hits Glasgow, London, Birmingham, and more. In late January and February, they’ll hop over to Europe for dates including Vienna, Berlin, and two nights in Munich and Paris each. The European tour wraps in Mannheim, Germany on February 18th.

The “St. Patrick’s Day 2023 Tour” officially begins in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 1st, followed by a stop in Atlanta and three nights in Florida between Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Pensacola. They’ll play Huntsville, Alabama on March 7th, then head north via Indianapolis and Louisville. In the Midwest, the band performs in Milwaukee; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Columbus, Ohio before moving east to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on March 14th. The run culminates in four hometown Boston shows between March 16th and 19th, all taking place at Fenway’s MGM Music Hall aside from the final show at House of Blues.

Who Is Opening for Dropkick Murphys on Tour?

Dropkick Murphys will be supported on the “St. Patrick’s Day 2023 Tour” by The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern for the majority of their US dates. Turnpike Troubadours and Nikki Lane will open the band’s hometown Boston shows, while Pennywise will join The Rumjacks and Ahern on the 2023 European leg.

Dropkick Murphys tickets are available now for their remaining 2022 dates as well as their 2023 European leg. Tickets for the band’s Boston shows are also up for grabs with several nights already sold-out.

The Dropkick Murphys bring St. Patrick's Day Tour 2023 to Mohegan Sun

Bust out the Jameson: St. Patrick's Day is arriving early in Wilkes-Barre, where the Dropkick Murphys will make a stop for their highly-anticipated 2023 tour.

Everyone's favorite American Celtic punk band will be playing the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza with The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern on March 14 as part of their St. Patrick's Day Tour 2023.

The Qunicy, Massachusetts boys have been playing Irish-infused punk rock for over 26 years now, putting out 11 albums and entering the pop culture zeitgeist with their hit single "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," featured in Martin Scorsese's 2006 crime drama "The Departed."

Their 12th studio album, Okemah Rising, is set to be released on May 12.

Fans can still snap tickets to the show starting at $35 , and a special VIP upgrade ― which does not include the standard ticket price ― allows for early entry for a soundcheck and acoustic set, a signed VIP laminate, a group photo, and early access to merchandise.

A portion of the funds for VIP upgrades will go The Claddagh Fund , The Dropkick Murphy's charitable foundation founded by frontman Ken Casey in 2009. The organization ― named after the Claddagh Ring, a traditional Irish symbol representing friendship, love, and loyalty ― helps to raise money for underfunded non-profit groups which support vulnerable populations.
