Central Cee Announces The ‘Still Loading’ World Tour

London drill rapper Central Cee’s ascent into North American rap consciousness is bubbling up. Last week, he dropped the video for “Doja, ” directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett , and now Cench just announced the Still Loading World Tour , which includes the Shepherd Bush rapper’s first official appearances in the US and Canada. He’ll be supporting his latest album, 23 , which debuted at No. 1 on the UK Official Albums chart.

The tour stops begin on October 12th at Chicago’s Bottom Lounge, before Central Cee makes his first ever Canadian appearance at Toronto’s Phonenix Concert Theater. He’ll make stops in New York City, Boston, Oakland and then wrap up the North America swing at the iconic Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on October 23rd. From there, he jets back to Europe for a month of appearances throughout the continent.

Central Cee announces London and Dublin shows as part of 2022 world tour

Tickets go on sale later this week

Central Cee has announced a world tour for later this year, which includes a London and Dublin show – tickets will be available here .

The rapper, who released his second mixtape ’23’ in February, will hit the road for a run of North American headline shows in October before heading to Europe at the end of that month.

His European leg includes stop-offs in cities such as Madrid (October 31), Barcelona (November 1), Paris (7), Amsterdam (10), Berlin (13) and Stockholm (17).

On November 20, Central Cee will take to the stage at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin ahead of returning to the UK to play Alexandra Palace in London on November 22. The latter date is billed as a “UK headline exclusive”.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (August 5) – you’ll be able to purchase yours from here . Fans can access a pre-sale for the London gig at the same time tomorrow (August 3) by signing up here .

Two shows in Australia – one in Melbourne, the other in Sydney – will precede the North American, European and UK/Ireland leg of Central Cee’s ‘Still Loading’ world tour. Dates are yet to be confirmed.

Central Cee Announces His Still Loading World Tour

— UK’s quickly rising star gets ready to embark on his first ever world tour which will include shows in the United States, Europe, and Australia.

Just a few weeks ago, Central Cee made history as the first UK artist to have a Cole Bennett-directed music video . Now, the West London superstar has shared what many will consider his biggest news to date as he announces his upcoming Still Loading World Tour .

Kicking off in October , the Still Loading World Tour starts in the United States, where Central Cee will perform his first-ever American headlining dates , before heading to Europe on October 31st . The tour culminates in London on November 22nd , as Cench headlines a s pecial show at the historic Alexandra Palace . Central Cee at Alexandra Palace review: a landmark moment for the UK’s next great rapper

Central Cee’s current world tour is titled Still Loading.“That ain’t just a phrase or a figure of speech,” the Londoner told the crowd at a bustling Alexandra Palace on Tuesday night. No, it’s a statement of intent from a rapper with so much more still to give.

Most of what the fast-rising star told the crowd at his biggest gig to date related to his journey to get here and how hard he’s worked, always quickly followed by the caveat that this is still very much the start of his rise. “This is one of those moments,” he said just a few minutes into his set, before showing across the next hour why many, many more are certain to follow.

Since breaking out in mid-2020 with single Day in the Life, Central Cee’s rise has been stratospheric, with his distinctive style of drill that often samples R&B classics making him an overnight star. With pyrotechnics, literal sparks flying and drones hovering over the audience (the show was streamed online via Amazon ), he proved he already has an exuberant, maximalist arena show to match his chart-topping hits.

While the set was peppered with rowdy, energetic tracks with harsh beats, it was on his softer and more melodic material that the rapper’s talents shone best. Mrs, a highlight from new mixtape 23, saw him ruminating on a relationship with brilliant lyrical dexterity, while Obsessed With You, which samples PinkPantheress’ TikTok smash Just For Me, was a sugary hit of ‘00s nostalgia.

The show boasted far fewer guest appearances than traditional rap gigs of this size, but their absence came with intention, and the few friends who did join him on stage were perfectly picked. “I haven’t got no rapper friends or any of that bullshit,” he told the crowd mid-way through the show, going on to distance himself from “industry” circles.

Instead, he welcomed his little brother (who goes by the name Lil Bro) on stage for Lil Bro, the highlight of the show. For the track, the pair faced each other on stage trading verses like a conversation, with each back and forth getting more and more impassioned as Cee spoke of trying to keep his brother on the right track. “This is the shit we used to dream about, trust me,” Lil Bro said as his parting gift after the touching and stunning centrepiece.

While some may see it as self-deprecation, the constant nods to the future that peppered the show seemed more like a teaser to what the rapper has clearly got in his back pocket, and where he sees himself going next. “I wish I had more hits!” he said before ending with an exhilarating rendition of early hit Doja, going on to confirm what we all knew anyway: “I’ll be back with more.”
