Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting tickets to Rod Stewart’s 2023 Australian Tour
Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.
Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance – Ticketmaster.com.au .
Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time
Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.
Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’
Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.
Keep an eye on the clock
There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).
Don’t refresh your screen
Stick to one window while you’re in the Waiting Room and when you’re being pushed through the Smart Queue and always resist the urge to refresh.
Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.
Remember: there are a lot of fans
We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.
Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
Rod Stewart, with very special guest Cyndi Lauper, will be bringing their tour to Australia in March 2023. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Rod Stewart & Cyndi Lauper Announce 2023 Australian Tour
Eight massive shows across the country!
Sir Rod Stewart will return to Australia next year alongside Cyndi Lauper for a string of dates across the country.
The two legends, joined by Noiseworks singer Jon Stevens , will touch down in Perth on March 11, before venturing to Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Mount Cotton, Sydney, Hunter Valley and Centennial Vineyards.
It’s been confirmed that Stewart will perform a “massive two-hour set from his vast catalogue of hits”, including tracks from 2021’s The Tears Of Hercules , while Lauper delivers “all of her most loved songs” across an hour set.
Back in January, Stewart was forced to axe his long-awaited return to the country due to “the ongoing surge of Covid in Australia and the reimposition of entertainment venue capacity limits in several states”.
The tour was first announced back in 2019 for October of 2020, but was postponed to March of this year before being cancelled completely.

At the time, he shared: “My dear friends, once again I feel we’ve all been cheated by this evil disease, so it is with great regret that I announce my shows for 2022 have had to be cancelled.
“My thoughts are with all your families at this difficult time as we come out of the joyous and hopefully safe holiday season and I look forward to returning to Australia as soon as the health situation permits.
“I’m absolutely gutted with disappointment and when I do eventually get there we‘ll have the party to end all parties. Guaranteed!

Rod Stewart announces 2023 Australian tour with Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens
It comes after he cancelled an Australian tour back in January
Rod Stewart has announced an eight-date Australian tour for next March, all dates of which will see him joined by Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens .
It’s the fourth time Stewart has slated the run – dubbed ‘The Hits! Tour’ – for Australian audiences; he first announced his return Down Under back in October of 2019, booking it in for the following March. The tour was then postponed to October 2020 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that August, it was moved to the first half of 2022 . At the start of this year, the tour was officially cancelled altogether.
Nevertheless, the new dates will cover all of the cities Stewart had been booked to perform in; the run will kick off in Perth on Saturday March 11, when he, Lauper and Stevens take to the stage at RAC Arena. They’ll head to Melbourne next, playing Rod Laver Arena the following Tuesday (March 14), before moving on to play shows Geelong, Adelaide, Mount Cotton and Sydney. To wrap up, they’ll deliver winery shows in the Hunter Valley and Bowral.
Tickets for all eight of the shows go on sale at 1pm local time this Thursday (November 17), with pre-sales running from 11am tomorrow (November 15). Find tickets here for the shows in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney, and here for everywhere else.
Stewart’s last Australian tour went down in 2015, when he was touring off the back of his 28th album, ‘Time’. He’s since released three more albums: ‘Another Country’ that same year, ‘Blood Red Roses’ in 2018, and ‘The Tears Of Hercules’ in 2021.
Meanwhile, last month saw Stewart rent a home for a family of seven Ukrainian refugees . The veteran pop rocker and his wife, Penny Lancaster, have claimed that they’ll pay the family’s rent and bills for at least a year; in an interview with the Daily Mirror , he said he believes it’s his duty to help others after he was knighted six years ago.
Earlier in the year, he surprised drinkers at a pub in Glasgow by stepping behind the bar to serve pints.

Stewart’s performed for millions of fans on all seven continents, even holding the record for the largest-ever free concert, for an estimated 4.2 million in Rio de Janeiro on New Year’s Eve in 1996. He’s earned countless of the industry’s highest awards, among them; two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for songwriting, New York Times bestselling author, Grammy™ Living Legend, and in 2016 he officially became “Sir Rod Stewart” after being knighted at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.
Sir Rod Stewart will reunite on his 2023 tour with the incomparable artist, Cyndi Lauper. Lauper is a groundbreaking Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning songwriter and performing artist with global record sales in excess of 50 million. Her iconic voice, influential punk glamor, and infectious live shows have catapulted her to stardom. Lauper won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist with her first album, She's So Unusual , and became the first woman in history to have four top-five singles from a debut album. Since then, Lauper has released ten additional studio albums, yielding timeless classics like “Time After Time” and “True Colors,” and the anthemic “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.” She has been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, seven American Video Awards, and 18 MTV Awards. In 2013, Cyndi Lauper became the first solo woman to win Best Original Score (music and lyrics) for Kinky Boots .
Opening for all shows on the tour is acclaimed rock singer Jon Stevens . Stevens is a member of that exclusive club: the Kiwis who are so successful and talented, we claim them as our own! As frontman of Noiseworks, he was part of four Top 10 albums and 12 Top 50 singles, including the classics No Lies , Take Me Back , Touch and Hot Chilli Woman . He then fronted INXS for more than three years, which included a gig at the Sydney Olympics’ closing ceremony. Stevens grew up listening to Sir Rod Stewart, and his 2011 album Testify! included a cover of Open To Ideas , co-written by Rod Stewart and one of the last songs the Faces recorded.

Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper Announce Australian Dates for 2023
by Paul Cashmere on November 11, 2022
Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper will team up for an Australian tour in 2023 for Live Nation at the arena shows and A Day On The Green for the winery shows.
Rod was due to tour Australia in 2020 but they fell over with Covid lockdowns.
Now the tour is back on, Cyndi Lauper is special guest and Jon Stevens named as opening act.
While Stewart hasn’t announced he is retiring, this might just be his last tour of Australia. On US radio this week he said, “I’m 77. I can’t go on the road like I used to. I’m going to stop rock-and-roll touring and just play in folk clubs with a guitar. I want to do something different. It feels like an end of an era. All things must come to an end.”
Stewart was active during Covid working on a new album. His 32nd solo album ‘The Tears of Hercules’ was released in November 2021.
Rod’s current setlist is:
Addicted to Love (Robert Palmer cover) You Wear It Well (from Never A Dull Moment, 1972) Ooh La La (from The Faces, Ooh La La, 1973) Some Guys Have All the Luck (from Camouflage, 1984) Tonight I’m Yours (from Tonight I’m Yours, 1981) Forever Young (from Out of Order, 1988) The First Cut Is the Deepest (from A Night On The Town, 1976) Maggie May (from Every Picture Tells A Story, 1971) I’d Rather Go Blind (from Never A Dull Moment, 1972) One More Time (from the Tears of Hercules, 2021) Young Turks (from Tonight I’m Yours, 1981) Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? Rachel Hunter’s life from modelling to spiritual healing as she reunites with ex Rod Stewart
Share this with
Sir Rod Stewart reunited with ex-wife Rachel Hunter this week as they celebrated their son’s wedding.
The legendary musician, 79, was beaming with pride as he watched son Liam, 29, tie the knot with his long-term partner Nicole, also 29, alongside his own wife Penny Lancaster, 58, and his former flame.
Rachel, 56, enjoyed a long marriage to Sir Rod, after they first met when she was 21 years old.
The former couple were back together again earlier this week for a romantic party as they celebrated their boy’s big day, which actually took place at the Church of St. Ignatius in Dubrovnik, a location well known by Game of Thrones fans.
Rachel was already a big name in the modelling world before meeting Sir Rod over three decades ago, and the pair were both able to be part of their son’s nuptials.
Here is everything you need to know about Rachel.
Who is Rachel Hunter?
Supermodel Rachel Hunter was born in New Zealand and initially had dreams of being a ballet dancer before she was diagnosed with toxoplasmosis – a flu-like illness which can cause poor coordination and muscle aches – aged 13.
Three years later, she started her modelling career, landing deals and magazine covers across New Zealand, Australia and France.
In 1989, she posed as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model, and five years later she appeared on the cover of the publication’s swimsuit issue – two decades before she posed nude for Playboy.
She has also appeared on the likes of Dancing With The Stars in 2005, and later served as a judge on New Zealand’s Got Talent.
When was she married to Rod Stewart?
Rachel was 21 when she first met Sir Rod, 24 years her senior, at a nightclub in Los Angeles.
Three months later – on December 15, 1990 – the couple got married at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church.
They separated just over eight years later, but their divorce wasn’t finalised until November 2006.
How many children do they have?
Two years into their marriage, Rachel gave birth to the couple’s first child, their daughter Renée.
Son Liam was welcomed into the world two years later, and his parents came together for his wedding to girlfriend Nicole Arkutovich in her native Croatia.
Liam, who plays professional ice hockey, went for an all-white three-piece suit on his big day, while Nicole cut the figure of a beautiful bride in her own pure white dress.
The day was one of smiles and celebrations as the happy couple, who have known each other for 16 years, finally tied the knot after years of being together, than apart, then back together again.
A website for the wedding revealed that the pair met each other as 13-year-olds playing beer pong, before starting a relationship at the age of 16, before going long-distance and separating after eight years, before later reuniting.
In May 2023, Nicole gave birth to their son Louie.
What is Rachel Hunter doing now?
Rachel is still keeping busy – and in the public eye.
Just last year, she joined RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under as a guest judge, having previously been part of the Drag Race All Stars series in 2012, and she said it was ‘always divine to be part of such an inspiring, electric show’.
Away from the screen, Rachel – who had spent a lot of time in England over the years – returned to her home country during the pandemic and has continued to work as a spiritual healer.
As well as travelling and hosting retreats in India, she provides meditation and breathwork exercises both online an in person in New Zealand.
