Excellent service

As I’ve cancelled and reinstated my travel insurance policy within a week and I have been very lucky to have been dealing with a charming young lady called Maddison. She is exceptional and very tolerant with me changing my mind. Keep up the good work Oasis and to deal with the same person each time makes it so much more personal and easier rather than speaking to a different person each time.

Very satisfactory all round insurance …

The price was right and all documents were sent to me quickly and efficiently as I requested the insurance at short notice. So I was able to enjoy my holiday with peace of mind, fortunately I did not need to make any claims.

All reviews are based on getting the insurance and not claiming

I can see all the reviews here are based on getting a good price for your insurance, and that is true. However trying to make a claim is a different story. Please read carefully the subparagraphs of what is NOT insured. My simple 36h delay with Turkish airlines and me booking an alternative flight to get to my destination on time was not covered as it was not the first departure point on my outward journey or my last departure point on my return journey. It was a flight we took in between on our holidays to continue our well deserved holiday. Just a recommendation to all, read what is not covered in policy wording and you'll see what I mean ;)

My flight was cancelled on the day

My flight was cancelled on the day, 2 days after the dubai floods. My bags were taken and not given back till my rearranged flight 5 days later. No hotel, no clothes, luggage for 5 days. Oasis refused my claims. Dont insure with this company, you wont be covered by the small print

Our Travel Styles

Overland Adventure

Overland trips in Africa, Central Asia and South America on our own purpose built overlanding vehicles. Africa trips are mostly camping, while in South America and Central Asia we spend time both camping and staying in hostels or simple hotels. When camping, we generally stay at campsites with the occasional wild camp.

Overland Adventures are run on a participatory basis – you’ll be involved in the day to day running of the trip and have fun helping to cook for the group. Expect to sometimes get dusty and dishevelled and not to be able to have hot showers every night. Groups of up to 24 people are led by two Oasis crew.
