BLITZERS' Journey: Tracing Their Rise To Stardom
BLITZERS stands as a testament to what can be achieved with the right blend of talent, teamwork, and vision.
BLITZERS / FCLIVE Official Twitter
The seven-member group BLITZERS —consisting of JuHan , JinHwa , Sya , Chris , Lutan , WooJu , and Go U (currently in hiatus due to health reasons)—has made waves in the entertainment industry ever since their formation. From humble beginnings and early days as WUZO CIRCLE to their transformation into a globally recognized act, the group has become a captivating ensemble that breaks the barriers of traditional K-Pop norms. With a portfolio that includes international tours, a growing discography, and a fanbase that spans continents, BLITZERS is a force to be reckoned with. This article will briefly dive into the group's history, discography, and the journey that led them to stardom.
2020: The Dawn of a New Era as WUZO CIRCLE
BLITZERS' early phase laid the groundwork for what would become one of the most intriguing and dynamic groups in the K-Pop industry. Before evolving into the group we now know as BLITZERS, they initially operated under the label WUZO Entertainment as WUZO CIRCLE, also commonly referred to as CIRCLE. At the time, the trainee group had up to 14 potential members, although not all were part of the lineup at the same time.
Their first brush with the public came in the form of their pre-debut songs. They released the music video for 'Blitz,' followed by 'Drawing Paper'. The group also engaged their fans in a unique way: through a voting system to decide the "prom king," where trainees with the highest votes secured their place in the final lineup. Finally, in December, the group’s new name, "BLITZERS," was unveiled through their official fancafe opening.
2021: A Year of Re-introduction and Debuts
Starting in January 2021, the group began reintroducing its members via pre-profile gifs, starting with WooJu and ending with Chris in February. This step-by-step revelation generated considerable interest and speculation, setting the stage for their May 2021 debut with their EP "Check-In," followed by a showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall. Their swift rise in the industry was evident when they were chosen as advertisement models for Saucony, a shoe brand, in June.
Their first comeback with their second EP, "Seat-Belt," was released on October 6. The EP featured a total of six songs, with "Will Make a Mistake" as the title track. The build-up to the comeback involved various pre-release activities, such as portrait videos and official photos, effectively keeping the fans engaged. BLITZERS' fandom received an official name during that same month: BLEE , an acronym for BLITZERS’ Glee , creating a sense of identity and belonging among fans.
2022: Crossing Borders and Expanding Horizons
The journey of BLITZERS took an international turn in 2022. Adding to their musical repertoire, the group launched their first single album "Bobbin" in January 2022. Their first-ever U.S. tour named 'BLITZERS 2022 U.S. Tour 'Check-in'' spanned a total of six stops. The tour kicked off in Los Angeles on February and concluded in Chicago. The year progressed with the release of their third EP, "Win-Dow," in July, taking their discography to new heights.
Just when fans thought they couldn't get any more, BLITZERS announced their first European tour in October. Named 'BLITZERS 2022 Europe Tour 'Looking For BLEE'', this fan meeting tour offered fans the opportunity to meet the members, engage in conversation, participate in games, and, of course, revel in their performances. It was an opportunity not to be missed for those wanting to get to know BLITZERS and join the ranks of BLEE.
2023: A New Chapter with "Macarena"
In 2023, the group had opened a new chapter in their constantly evolving narrative by announcing their second single album, "Macarena," which was slated for release in April. The music video exceeded 10 million views on YouTube 14 days after its release and the dance challenge went viral on TikTok. It was clear that BLITZERS showed no signs of slowing down, as they consistently broke new ground and set elevated standards in the K-Pop landscape.

From their modest beginnings to their transformation into a global K-Pop sensation known as BLITZERS, their journey is a rich tapestry of ambition, talent, and strategy. With their innovative fan engagement activities, international tours, and an ever-expanding discography, BLITZERS have proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. As they continue to enrich their musical catalogue, BLITZERS stands as a testament to what can be achieved with the right blend of talent, teamwork, and vision. They have not just arrived; they've captivated, and the K-Pop world is eagerly watching what steps they take next. With a powerful lineup that harmoniously blends individual talents, the sky's the limit for what BLITZERS can achieve.

Fans delighted as Janet Jackson ‘finally’ announces 2024 UK tour dates
Janet Jackson has announced she will be touring Europe this year, with multiple dates set for across the UK.
The “Together Again” tour marks the star’s 50 th anniversary in the industry as well as 35 years since her landmark 1989 album Rhythm Nation 1814 . It had previously been hinted that the singer would be revisiting the UK.
It will be the musician’s first major event in the UK since 2019, when she performed at Glastonbury as part of her world tour for the 30th anniversary of her hit record.
In a video message accompanying the announcement on Monday (29 April), Jackson said: “I just wanted to thank you for making this my most successful tour to date.
“And Europe, I know it’s been a minute since we’ve seen each other. But the wait is no longer, I will be taking the ‘Together Again’ tour all over Europe this fall.
“I cannot wait to see you guys, I miss you so much. We’ve had so much fun with this show, so can’t wait to come and have some of that fun with you guys.”
Fans were delighted, and expressed excitement within minutes of the announcement, wity many writing: “Finally!”
“I’ll be there with bells on! Hotel and transport booked,” said one supporter.
“We have been starved!!!” added another.
Supporters were determined that the anticipated rush for tickets wouldn’t hinder their efforts.
“Janet Jackson has announced another UK tour. Is the fact she is notorious for cancelling her shows going to stop me from frantically searching for tickets on Friday morning…” said one Jackson fan along with a gif of the star saying “No.”
Others said they had waited years for the opportunity to see her.
“I’m so scared I won’t get tickets that my anxiety has shot through the roof. I’ve prayed for times like this for years.”
The European leg will kick off in Paris on 25 September before moving to Birmingham, London and Glasgow – finishing in the beleaguered Co-op Live arena in Manchester on 1 October.
The “Control” singer will continue the 10-date event with gigs in European cities Antwerp, Munich, Cologne and Berlin before concluding in Amsterdam.
The North American leg, opened by “Dilemma” artist Nelly, launched in April and will continue throughout the US and Canada until July.
Meanwhile, the European tour will be supported by The Fugees member Wyclef Jean, except for the London date for which a supporting act is yet to be announced.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (3 May) at 9am on JanetJackson.com.
