Phiêu lưu kết hợp với hài hước qua phong cách nhảm đan xen những tình tiết “người lớn” từ lâu đã trở thành một trong những thế mạnh của điện ảnh Mỹ với sự thành công của nhiều tác phẩm, thu về doanh thu cao gấp hàng chục lần, nhưng cũng có không ít phim không mang về những kết quả như kỳ vọng mặc dù nó nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm của khán giả và Chuyến Du Lịch Châu Âu là một minh chứng. Bộ phim của đạo diễn Jeff Schaffer được đầu tư kinh phí 25 triệu USD, thế nhưng số tiền nó thu về chỉ đạt chưa đủ 21 triệu USD, nó là sự hợp tác giữa điện ảnh Mỹ và Séc trong khi như nhiều tựa phim tương tự, các nhà sản xuất không sử dụng dàn sao mà đa phần đầu là những cái tên ít danh tiếng, điểm quan trọng của phim vẫn là nằm ở kịch bản cũng như ý tưởng tạo tiếng cười.

Nội dung của phim Chuyến Du Lịch Châu Âu xoay quanh anh chàng Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz), là một học sinh chăm chỉ và cũng là một chàng trai tốt. Trước khi tốt nghiệp, Thomas đà giành được điểm A cho môn tiếng Đức nhờ vào sự trợ giúp của một người bạn đang sống ở bên Đức mà anh chưa từng gặp mặt, thông qua việc dịch bài tập qua mạng, không lâu sau thì người bạn này đã mời anh tới Đức để gặp mặt. Trái ngược với sự hào hứng, Scott Thomas tỏ ra có phần hoảng sợ bởi anh chàng sợ người đó có thể là con trai, hoặc là anh nghĩ rằng người đó là một tên bê đê già muốn kiếm những chàng thanh niên trẻ như anh làm bạn trai của hắn.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Spotted Together in Los Angeles After She Returns from Europe Trip Without Him

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez appear to have reunited following her trip to Europe without him.

On Wednesday, June 26, the pair were photographed separately a few hours apart in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles, entering a building where Affleck has an office for his production company Artists Equity.

According to TMZ , which obtained photos of the outing, Affleck, 51, arrived around 10 a.m. in a suit and with a duffel bag slung over one shoulder. Lopez, 54, was pictured leaving the office a few hours later.

While it is unclear what the pair were in the building for, Lopez stars in at least two upcoming films, Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman , from Artists Equity, which Affleck co-founded with longtime friend  Matt Damon .

This is the first time the Atlas actress has been pictured seemingly spending time with Affleck since returning from an overseas vacation without him that included stops in Italy and France.

After she was photographed soaking up the sun in Italy, Lopez sat front row at a Christian Dior fashion show in Paris on June 25.

“She was relaxed" and "laughed with her friends,” one insider told PEOPLE of Lopez during one stop on the trip, adding that the star was "very kind" and "is a very radiant and elegant lady."

Lopez is taking time this summer "to be with her children, family and close friends," Live Nation announced on May 31 when the singer canceled her concert tour  amid what sources have called strain in her marriage to Affleck.

Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021, after previously splitting up in 2004. They later  tied the knot in a small Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, and had a larger celebration with family and friends the following month in Savannah, Georgia.

However, it seemed their relationship was on the rocks earlier this year after they hadn't been  seen together  for over a month. Sources told PEOPLE in May that Affleck and Lopez’s marriage “is not in the  best place at the moment ” as they were  living separately , with Affleck in a rental home.

Amid buzz about tension in their marriage, Affleck and Lopez have both seemingly been focused on family and work, celebrating graduation milestones in his kids' lives and more.

The Marry Me actress shares twins  Emme and Max , 16, with ex-husband  Marc Anthony , while Affleck is dad to three kids with ex-wife  Jennifer Garner :   Violet , 18, Seraphina , 15, and  Samuel , 12.

Travelers Should Be Extra Mindful of Pickpockets in These European Countries, Study Shows

Nothing can ruin a vacation like being the victim of a pickpocketing scam. Throughout Europe specifically, a new study shows that there are some destinations where theft is more prevalent than others.

Travelers to Italy should be on their guard since the country ranked the highest for pickpockets among all popular European hotspots, according to a recent study by UK insurance price comparison platform Quotezone.co.uk . To determine the ranking, the study looked at pickpocketing mentions in visitor reviews at popular attractions like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon in Rome, the Duomo di Milano in Milan, and the Gallerie Degli Uffizi in Florence.

Overall, Italy had 478 pickpocketing mentions for every million British visitors, the highest of countries studied in Europe, according to the report.

“Theft can happen anywhere and tourist hotspots are convenient places for criminals to target holidaymakers’ wallets and purses whilst they are busy taking in the sites,” Greg Wilson, the founder and CEO of Quotezone.co.uk, said in a statement. “It is essential always to remain vigilant, leave valuables, like expensive [jewelry], in a safe in the hotel and always travel with a secure cross-body bag with zips to secure phones and wallets or even a money belt.”

Travelers heading to France should also be aware of their surroundings since the country ranked second on the list with 251 mentions of being pickpocketed for every million British visitors. That’s especially true for the area around Paris’ most iconic structure, the Eiffel Tower, which the study found was the worst for pickpockets in the country.

That was followed by Spain — and particularly Barcelona’s Las Ramblas — and Germany, which each saw 111 mentions of being pickpocketed for every million British visitors. 

On the other end of the spectrum was Ireland, which had only seven mentions of pickpocketing for every million British visitors, according to the study. Where you want to watch out for your bag is the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, a notorious tourist trap but a worthwhile one nonetheless .

If you do get pickpocketed, Wilson encouraged travelers to file a police report to be covered for any possible insurance claims.

It’s also a good idea to make copies of important documents and make sure all your devices are password-protected.

And remember: you’re not alone. Even the most seasoned travelers can fall victim to pickpockets, just like Rick Steves did when he wasn't wearing his money belt on the Paris Metro a few years ago.

Greek authorities said on Monday that the body of a missing German man was recovered near a gorge on the island of Crete, the latest in a series of fatal incidents involving tourists undertaking demanding hikes in the scorching heat.

At least 10 tourists have gone missing or been found dead this year in similar circumstances, according to Greek authorities. The country has experienced back-to-back heat waves earlier than usual this year, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) in many areas for several days in a row.

The 67-year-old man’s body was found in “rugged and inaccessible terrain” near the Tripiti Gorge in southwestern Crete, the fire service said in a statement. It was first spotted by a drone on Sunday evening. Early Monday, the fire service sent a helicopter, though it took responders several hours to reach the body.

As of Monday, the man’s name and cause of death had not been released.

According to Constantina Dimoglidou, a police spokeswoman, the man had contacted his wife early Sunday afternoon, saying he had run out of water and felt ill. He did not know his location, but the authorities traced his cellphone signal.

The Tripiti Gorge is a demanding trek generally undertaken by experienced hikers, Ms. Dimoglidou said.

Monday’s discovery was the most recent in a string of tourist deaths in the past month.

An 80-year-old Belgian man, a Dutch man and a Frenchwoman, both 70, all died while on separate hiking trips on the island of Crete.

Another Dutch hiker, 74, was found dead on the Greek island of Samos.

On June 9, the remains of a well-known British medical journalist and documentary maker named Michael Mosley were found on the island of Symi, following his disappearance during a walk in extreme heat.

At least three more tourists are still missing after going on hikes, including Albert Calibet, a 59-year-old dual national of the United States and France who has been missing on the Aegean island of Amorgos since June 11. Authorities are still looking for two Frenchwomen, aged 73 and 64, who disappeared on June 14 on the island of Sikinos.

Any hopes of rescuing the missing hikers after so many days are ebbing, Ms. Dimoglidou said, while the prospect of even locating their remains becomes increasingly uncertain with each passing day as decomposition accelerates in the intense heat.

Hikers going astray is not a new thing, but they don’t often turn up dead in ravines, she added. “This year, it seems that more people became disoriented in the intense heat,” the police spokeswoman said.

On days when extreme heat is forecast, Greek authorities generally issue warnings to older citizens and those with health issues to stay indoors. Those are guidelines, however, and there are typically no bans on hiking or on entrance to historic sites.

However, because of the extreme heat, Greek authorities closed many schools in Athens earlier this month and restricted visiting hours to several ancient sites, including the Acropolis.

The search for missing hikers is occurring as the Greek fire service also scrambles to douse wildfires in several parts of the country. Days of sweltering temperatures, dried-out brush and strong winds have created tinder box conditions, fueling fires on the Greek islands and the mainland.

PRAGUE (AP) — Argentina’s self-described anarcho-capitalist President Javier Milei wrapped up his brief trip to three European Union countries by visiting the Czech Republic on Monday.

Milei met Czech leaders, including his counterpart, retired Gen. Petr Pavel and conservative Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and gave a speech at a conference on how to deal with an ineffective government.

High on the agenda was the two countries’ support for Ukraine, bilateral cooperation in business, technology, defense and other fields and a trade agreement between the European Union and the countries of the Latin American Mercosur trade bloc.

After their meeting, Milei and Pavel made only brief statements and didn’t take questions.

“We together support (Ukraine) President (Volodymyr) Zelenskyy against the brutal Russian aggression, and at the same time we agree that Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorism,” Milei said through a translator.

Pavel said he believed that Argentina will become in the future one of the global partners of NATO.

“I’m glad that Argentina is ready to take its share of responsibility for the global security,” Pavel said.

He highlighted the importance of a trade deal between the EU and Mercosur. “Czechia and Argentina are among the countries that are convinced a free and open trade contributes not just to an economic prosperity but also to security.”

Milei, who is known for his unfiltered way of speaking, was elected last year on the promise to fix Argentina’s troubled economy.

His austerity measures have fueled waves of protests in the South American nation, with protesters saying cuts have put the poor even more at risk and have endangered public universities . Milei has also drawn the ire of human rights activists after he called abortion “murder” and lambasted the country’s feminist movement as a “cult of a gender ideology.”

The Czech prime minister said after their meeting that they share similar views on key security issues “which is documented by Argentina’s support for Ukraine.”

The trip to Prague came after visiting Germany for a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and following a controversial trip to Spain , where Milei made no plans to meet with senior government officials, amid a diplomatic crisis engulfing the long-standing allies.

Milei was accompanied by Defense Minister Luis Alfonso Petri who signed a memorandum of understanding with his Czech counterpart Jana Černochová about cooperation in the defense industry.

Milei was applauded when he arrived for his speech at the Zofin palace in downtown Prague with several protesters gathered near the venue.
