My free tours Moscow city starts on Slavonic Square (Kitay-Gorod Metro Station), passes the world-famous St. Basil’s Cathedral, which was built by Ivan the Terrible on the south side of Red Square in the 16th century and where the tsars were once crowned. Then it goes across the Red Square at the Lenin Mausoleum, the luxury department store GUM and with a view of the Kremlin towards the historical museum. Of course, you will also learn more about the stories that once happened behind the thick walls of the Kremlin – from the Tsars and Napoleon to Stalin. Then we continue through the idyllic Alexander Garden.

«First acquaintance with Moscow» – a 2.5-hour city tour in the center of Moscow

This Moscow city tour starts on the Theater Square, past Lubyanka Square and the KGB-building, then through Kitay Gorod district and Varvarka Street, past the world-famous St. Basil’s Cathedral. Then it goes across Zarjadje Park, over Red Square at the Lenin Mausoleum, the GUM-department store and towards the Historical Museum. We walk through the Alexander Garden.

A 3.5-hour car/bus tour of Moscow.

This is the best tour of Moscow city as all the important sights are visited. I am your Moscow city guide who will walk you through the city explaining the charming history of the city. This tour begins with picking you up from the hotel. 3 breaks are offered for photographing.

First, we will visit the most famous riverside streets and bridges in the center of the city with the most beautiful views of the Kremlin and the Moskva River (e.g. the Kremlin embankment and the Great Stone Bridge).

The first photo break is made at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. We then pass by the district with numerous museums, Prechistinka Street and the district with numerous medical areas.

We again stop at the Novodevichy Convent, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the other bank of the Moskva River to click pictures.

Then we visit “Sparrow Hills” where you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city of Moscow from the observation deck. Then there are the skyscrapers of Moscow-City, the Kutuzov avenue, the New Arbat, Tverskaya Street, the world-famous Bolshoi Theater, the KGB building and Varvarka Street. Here there are ample spots to click pictures.

We then drive past the Kremlin again and finally reach Red Square. We take a short tour of Red Square and say goodbye in the Alexander Garden.

A military tour – riding on tanks in Stupino (Moscow region)

Russian Military is one of the largest military forces in the world formed in 1992. Carsharing in Moscow

How much does it cost?

The rental price depends on the chosen operator, the car class, traffic congestion, demand for carsharing cars, and ranges from 3 to 20 rubles per minute. When you leave the car to wait for you at the parking lot, you'll need to pay around 2 rubles per minute. The advantage of car sharing is that you do not need to spend money on parking, gasoline, insurance, car wash, and maintenance.

How to use?

To rent a car, you need to register in the operator's mobile application. During the registration process, you need to attach photos of your passport and driver's license and then sign an agreement (by joining the operator's conditions in the application). The verification process can take several days. You can book an available car in the app. Once the vehicle is reserved, you have some free booking time - 20 minutes on average - to get to the place. After the waiting time expires, you'll need to pay the waiting rate, ranging from 2 to 5 rubles per minute. The car opens through the app. All the necessary documents and the ignition key are inside the vehicle. After a quick check for damage, you can start renting.

How far to go?

In most cases, you can move around the city, get to Moscow airports, and drive around the Moscow countryside. YouDrive vehicles can drive 250 km outside the Moscow Ring Road. But there are only a few locations outside of Moscow where it is allowed to complete the lease.

Where to leave your car?

The rules are a bit different in each company. DeliMobil allows you to complete the lease in a kilometer from metro stations in Moscow, in the parking lots of the shopping center, at the airports. YouDrive The completion zone in this service changes over time. From 08:00 Mon to 20:00 Fri, the car can be parked within the Third Ring Road and next to the metro  Vodny Stadion, Molodezhnaya, Kuzminki, Anino, Domodedovskaya, Yuga-Zapadnaya, Novogireevo. On weekends, the zone expands to the Moscow Ring Road. For more detailed information you'll need to check the details on the car-sharing applications.

When to use?

Please note that Moscow traffic is very busy and it takes time to get used to it. We would not recommend you using car-sharing in cases when you are in a hurry. So far it is also not the best transport for tours of Moscow . However, it might be a good solution for people willing to   take a day trip outside of Moscow.

Start by visiting Park Patriot, the impressive Russian army exhibition center and museum. There, try your driving skills at the T-80 tank official simulator ,  before you ride on two iconic Soviet armored vehicles (BMP-1 and/or BTR-80) on an off-road training path. Along the way, hone your skills while a drill sergeant shouts commands at you. You may not understand, but impress him anyway with your grenade launching technique and AK-47 assembling speed. Or suffer the consequences.

After that, take another shot of vodka , enjoy the army field lunch provided, and move on to the next activity…

Honey, I shot a bazooka!

Phase two brings a variety of iconic Russian war weapons to the tip of your trigger finger. Learn about and test the Makarov PM, PPSH-41, Kalashnikov AK-47, RPK, DP28 machine gun, several semi-auto or auto carbines and more… Firing off a bazooka is the grand finale, sure to leave you breathless—just before you send the photos to your mom.

To prevent you from inadvertently blowing up your best friend or transforming your girlfriend into a strainer, we only use non-lethal (but real!) ammo.

And because you’ll want to keep the good times rolling, we also offer a 10% discount on pub-crawl tickets.

New 2025 Honda Civic Gains Powerful Hybrid Trims, Sportier Styling and Improved Tech

Building on the success of the 11th generation Civic – the 2022 North American Car of the Year – the refreshed 2025 Honda Civic adds more style, more tech and with the available two-motor hybrid powertrain, a lot more power. Positioned at the top of the lineup and expected to receive an EPA combined fuel economy rating nearing 50 mpg 1 , the new Civic hybrid, offered as either a sedan or hatchback, combines the fun-to-drive spirit of Civic with the award-winning Honda two-motor hybrid system.

The 2025 Civic will be available in four trim levels, starting with LX (sedan only) and Sport, and topped by the hybrid-powered Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. The new hybrid-electric models will represent about 40% of Civic sales as a key step in the Honda electrification strategy. The 2025 Civic sedan will begin arriving at Honda dealers next month, while the Civic hatchback will arrive later this summer.

"The new Civic hybrid is a perfectly-timed addition to the Honda lineup as hybrid-electric sales continue to grow, providing Honda with an important building block toward 100% zero-emissions vehicle sales by 2040," said Lance Woelfer, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "Honda hybrid-electric models represented over one-quarter of our overall brand sales in 2023, and the fun-to-drive Civic hybrid is a fantastic new product at the gateway of our popular electrified lineup along with Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid and the all-electric Prologue."

Civic is Honda's longest-running automotive nameplate and Americans have purchased more than 12 million Civics since 1973, making it one of the top three best-selling passenger cars in America over the past 51 years 2 . An unparalleled success, the 11th-generation Civic serves as the gateway to the Honda brand and America's most popular vehicle with Gen Z buyers, first-time new car buyers as well as multicultural customers 3 .

Most Powerful Non-Type R Civic Ever With an anticipated combined 200 horsepower and an impressive 232 lb.-ft. of torque 5 ,the new Civic hybrid-electric powered trims are the most powerful non-Type R Civics ever, providing quick, effortless acceleration while receiving outstanding EPA fuel economy ratings. Linear Shift Control further elevates the driving experience by mimicking the vehicle speed-linked rev feel typically associated with a conventional drivetrain shifting gears under acceleration. The resulting performance is even quicker than the outgoing 1.5L turbo-powered Civic.

The Honda two-motor hybrid system maximizes efficiency without compromising dynamic performance or passenger and cargo space. Optimized for the Civic and delivering a sporty driving experience, the refined Honda two-motor hybrid-electric power unit features two large and powerful electric motors.

In addition, the new Civic hybrids have four levels of regenerative-braking deceleration available through selector paddles on the steering wheel. The multiple levels provide a wide range of control during deceleration.

To further amplify Civic's legendary fun-to-drive spirit and class-leading ride comfort, the ride and handling dynamics of Civic hybrid have been optimized with unique spring and damper tuning, and a specifically-developed tire.  Hybrid trims also enjoy the lowest NVH levels in the Civic lineup, with a robust noise reduction package that includes Active Noise Control on all hybrids, and wheel resonators on Sport Touring trims.

To support affordability for young buyers, Civic LX and Sport trims continue to be powered by a responsive and efficient 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid trims benefit from Honda's powerful yet efficient two-motor hybrid system.

Drivers can seamlessly switch between selectable drive modes to optimize the Civic driving experience for various conditions. Econ, Normal, and Sport (Sport and hybrid trims only) modes feature pre-set performance settings for powertrain response, steering assist level and gauge cluster layout. Civic Sport Touring Hybrid models also feature a new Individual mode that enables customization of the driving experience.

Enhanced Design The exterior styling of every 2025 Honda Civic is enhanced with a new more aggressive front fascia and grille, while new darker taillights give Civic sedan a sharper look. For an even sportier look, the new more-powerful hybrid-powered trims get a distinct body colored headlamp garnish and front lower spoiler. All Sport trims continue to feature dark trim and black 18-inch wheels. A new machine-finished wheel design is exclusive to the top-of-the-line Sport Touring Hybrid.

Four bold new colors including Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, Blue Lagoon Pearl (exclusive to Civic sedan) and Sand Dune Pearl (exclusive to Civic hatchback) enhance the appearance of the 2025 Civic.

Inside, the simple and clean Civic interior is also refreshed. All hybrid models are now available with a gray interior color. Sport Hybrid also comes standard with a moonroof, heated front seats and dual zone climate controls.

The Sport Touring Hybrid adds leather seating, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system and intuitive technology, including a larger 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ compatibility and a wireless smartphone charger. All Civic models now come standard with front USB-C ports.

Google built-In Additionally, the top-line Sport Touring Hybrid features Civic's first integration of Google built-in. This includes apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps and more on Google Play for a helpful, personalized and connected driving experience with a complimentary 3-year unlimited data plan.

With Google Assistant, users can get things done while keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel. Talk to Google to easily call or text a friend, set reminders, or even change the temperature in the car. Users can also navigate to the next destination or look up what's nearby. For example, Google Assistant enables users to set their destination in Google Maps using just their voice, with the route map then displayed in the instrument cluster.

Drivers can control their media by asking Google to skip to the next track or rewind a podcast using their favorite media apps with just their voice. Google Play enables users to download various 3rd-party apps for music, podcasts and audiobooks, just like they would on their smartphone.

Safety for Everyone The 11th-generation Civic is a safety leader in the compact class thanks to advanced active and passive safety technology that comes standard on every Civic. This includes Honda's proprietary Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure designed to help protect occupants in a wide variety of frontal collisions, along with advanced supplemental restraint systems.

Civic's driver and passenger front airbags were designed to minimize the potential for severe brain trauma associated with angled frontal collisions. The front driver's airbag uses an innovative donut-shaped structure to cradle and cradle the head to reduce rotation. The passenger-side front airbag uses a three-chamber design with the two outer chambers designed to achieve a similar result. All Civic models also feature pretensioning front seatbelts, and front, side, knee and side-curtain airbags.

Based on Honda's long standing "Safety for Everyone" approach, which focuses on advancing safety for everyone sharing the road, all Civic models are equipped with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Pedestrian Detection; Forward Collision Warning; Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) incorporating Lane Departure Warning (LDW); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS); and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). • The car had an original sticker price of $228,230 and is selling for $299,900.
• There are just 1,582 miles on this 911’s odometer.

If you’re in the market for a Porsche 911 and have $300,000 to spend, this 2022 911 GT3 Touring up for sale in Portland, Oregon could be perfect.

Making this GT3 Touring stand out from most others on the market is the paint. It’s finished in a shade from Porsche’s Paint to Sample program known as Amethyst Metallic. This deep shade of purple has been around for many years but isn’t very common, particularly on models as desirable as the 911 GT3 Touring. A look at the car’s window sticker reveals the paint set back the original buyer $12,830.

The car has plenty of other options too, which explains why it had a sticker price of $228,230 when new while the GT3 Touring starts at $161,100. Other extras include Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes with gloss calipers ($10,110), wheels painted in Satin Neodyme ($1,290), a front axle lift system ($3,670), extended matte carbon fiber interior trim ($5,390), LED Matrix headlights in black ($4,010), a Bose premium surround sound system ($1,600), and 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sport Seats Plus that cost $2,640.

The centerpiece of the GT3 Touring is its engine. It takes the form of a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six with 502 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque. This engine revs all the way to 9,000 rpm and is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. While there are plenty of sports cars and supercars out there with more power than the GT3, few provide the same driving thrills.

This example is being sold through Grand Prix Motors with a $299,900 asking price. It has been driven just 1,582 miles (2,545 km).

Masters champion Scottie Scheffler  was arrested by police in Louisville on Friday morning on his way to the PGA Championship, with stunning images showing him handcuffed as he was led to a police car and charged with assaulting an officer after allegedly attempting to drive around traffic backed up from a pedestrian fatality investigation. Scheffler was released later in the morning and continued competing in the tournament.

Police said Scheffler was booked for second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic. In a statement to CBS News, Scheffler's attorney Steve Romines said the golfer "never at any point assaulted any officer with his vehicle" and added that "we will litigate this matter as needed."  

In a statement posted to Instagram , Scheffler said he was in a "very chaotic situation."

"There was a big misunderstanding of what I thought I was being asked to do," Scheffler said. "I never intended to disregard any of the instructions. I'm hopeful to put this to the side and focus on golf today."

Police said a pedestrian had been struck by a bus while crossing the road in a lane that was dedicated to tournament traffic. Police said the man died at the scene, CBS affiliate WLKY  reported . Traffic was backed up for about a mile in both directions on the only road that leads to Valhalla Golf Club, with dozens of police cars flashing red-and-blue lights near the entrance.  

Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world, later started the second round shortly after 10 a.m. EDT. After finishing Friday's round, Scheffler told reporters he wouldn't discuss specific details about the incident, but he said he didn't know at the time that the accident ahead of him in traffic was fatal.

"I feel like my head's still spinning," Scheffler said. "I can't really explain what happened this morning. I did spend some time stretching in a jail cell — that was a first for me."

Scheffler expressed confidence that the charges would "get resolved, I think, fairly quickly."

Why was Scottie Scheffler arrested?

According to a police report, Scheffler was in an eastbound lane and pulled into the westbound lanes, where a uniformed detective was standing. The detective stopped Scheffler and attempted to give him instructions, but Scheffler "refused to comply and accelerated forward," according to the report.

The detective, identified as Det. Gillis, was dragged "to the ground" and suffered "pain, swelling, and abrasions to his left wrist," according to the report.

The detective was dressed in a high visibility reflective jacket when he stopped Scheffler's car to give instructions, the arrest sheet said. Gillis was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

The Louisville Metro Police Department said that all lanes were closed during the traffic fatality investigation.

"While an officer was directing traffic, an encounter with a motorist attempting to make entry into a restricted area ultimately led to the driver being arrested," the police said in a statement. "We are in the process of conducting a thorough investigation. We are appreciative that all parties involved are fully cooperating."

Romines said Scheffler was driving a marked player's vehicle and proceeding as he'd been instructed.

"I think the officer that was directing traffic was maybe not part of the event traffic detail and so that's where the miscommunication arose, and that's why we're here," Romines told WLKY.

ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington said he watched this unfold with Scheffler driving past a police officer a little after 6 a.m. in his SUV. He said police pulled Scheffler out of the vehicle, pushed him up against the car and immediately placed him in handcuffs.

"Scheffler was then walked over to the police car, placed in the back, in handcuffs, very stunned about what was happening, looked toward me as he was in those handcuffs and said, 'Please help me,'" Darlington said. "He very clearly did not know what was happening in the situation. It moved very quickly, very rapidly, very aggressively."

Darlington said whole the incident started with a "misunderstanding with traffic flow."

With cars backed up in the morning darkness, other PGA-marked vehicles tried to move slowly toward the entrance. Traffic finally began to move slowly a little before 7 a.m.

A spokesperson for the PGA of America identified the man who was struck by the shuttle bus as John Mills. In a statement, the PGA's Greg Dillard said Mills, a worker with one of the group's vendors, was going to work when he was hit.

"This is heartbreaking to all of us involved with the PGA Championship," the PGA said in a statement. "We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones."

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear conveyed his condolences on social media , saying, "Our hearts are broken, and we continue to pray for the victim's family."

"The events that occurred afterward are the unfortunate result of this tragic incident, and we are hopeful that all parties involved can come to a resolution," Beshear said.

Scheffler also expressed his sympathies for the man who died.

"It truly puts everything in perspective," Scheffler said on social media.

The website for the Louisville Metropolitan Department of Corrections briefly showed a booking photo of Scheffler before the photo was removed. According to the website, Scheffler was released at 8:40 a.m.

Scheffler returned to the course at 9:12 a.m. He made his way to the practice area around 9:30 a.m. and was welcomed by fans — one shouted "free Scottie!"

Scheffler seemed like his normal, relaxed self, sharing a few laughs on the driving range. Then he went out and made a birdie on his first hole of the day after sticking his approach shot to three feet. Scheffler finished Friday's round two strokes behind leader Collin Morikawa at nine strokes under par for the tournament, CBS Sports reports .

It was a surreal start to what already has been a wild week of weather — the Masters champion and top-ranked in the world, dressed in workout clothes with his hands in cuffs behind his back amid flashing flights.

Darlington said police were not sure who he was. He said an officer asked him to leave and when he identified himself being with the media, he was told, "There's nothing you can do. He's going to jail."

Darlington said another police officer later approached with a notepad and asked if he knew the name of the person they put in handcuffs.

Scheffler is coming off four victories in his last five tournaments. He was home in Dallas for the last three weeks waiting on the birth of his first child, a son who was born on May 8.

"I feel like my head is still spinning. I can't really explain what happened this morning," Scheffler said after remarkably posting another 5-under 66 Friday that kept him in the mix for a second straight major championship. He is seeking to become only the fifth player since 1960 to win the first two majors of the year.

Last month, Scheffler won his second  Masters Tournament  victory in three years, finishing 11 under and four strokes up on his closest competitors.

Cops have just released video from the scene of Scottie Scheffler 's arrest last week ... and in the footage, you can see at least one officer pushed the golfer against a car -- before placing him in handcuffs.

The images were captured by a camera affixed to a street pole located just a few feet away from Valhalla Golf Club -- the site of this month's PGA Championship.

Due to its proximity to the arrest ... it did not capture the 27-year-old's initial interaction with authorities -- however, you can see it did record the moments after Louisville Metro Police were able to stop him as he tried to make his way into the course.

One officer can be seen running toward Scheffler's driver's side door ... before he appears to reach in through the window at Scheffler multiple times. After several seconds, Scheffler's door opens ... and then one cop seems to then shove him against the ride.

Scheffler was then placed in cuffs, the video shows ... and marched to a nearby squad car.

Cops also released dashcam footage from a police cruiser at the scene ... and it shows Scheffler being hauled away from up-close. It also caught cops' ensuing tense interaction with a reporter who had been on the scene covering the incident.

As we reported, Scheffler was ultimately taken to a nearby jail and booked on several criminal charges , including felony assault of a police officer. He was later released ... and was able to finish the weekend's major tournament in a tie for eighth place.

Louisville officials announced Thursday the arresting officer in the case, Bryan Gillis , violated policy by not activating his body-worn camera during the arrest ... however, the criminal case against Scheffler remains ongoing.

He's due next in court on June 3.
