I bought sashimi, tataki (barely cooked salmon) and tempura shrimps to be delivered to my house. The tataki was cold (like fridge-cold) although it was supposed to have been cooked like 20 minutes before, the salmon was not very good. I would recommend to stay... away from this restaurant and if you want japanese food, try the other offers in town. More

We had bento boxes of salmon and shrimp tempura, which were nicely presented and tasty. Wine a bit expensive, and they had run out of both kir and decaf. Wheelchair accessible, but the toilet was poorly designed, with the handrail so far from the toilet... that it could not be used. On a previous visit we had attempted to get take-away sushi at 11.30 a.m., but were told that it did not open until 12, even for take-away, which seems strange - surely the point of a take-away is that you can get your food before a meal time and take it home? More

We ended up going here twice, because the selection of sushi is so good but mainly because the service was excellent. It's a little hard to find, but it is actually just of Place Plumereau. Definitely recommend, including for veggies!

Had lunch here in February and was very surprised by the quality and originality of the sushi. We shared the creation and tentation menus, both of which came with a variety of sushis. The ones with sour cream weren't to my taste but everything else... was delicious. Nice restaurant for lunch, perhaps not dinner. Worth a visit. More

The food was just okay with affordable prices. But, rice was too dry, and cups and dishes didn't seem to be hygienic enough. Also, more importantly, the service in this restaurant was pretty terrible. I've been to this restaurant for twice, and the servers make me and my companies wait over 30 minutes to make orders both times. I've even felt like we were discriminated because they got orders from literally anyone much faster than from us even though we'd came earlier. And I usualy don't like to use race card as realistically speaking, it's hard to get majorities agree with me by doing so. But I personally think that it can be a "reasonable doubt" to think this might be based on race. Because this, "exactly same" kind of discrimination happens all the time in lots of touristic European countries "only for asian people" as much as you can call it pattern, even if you didn't know. (Hope you don't think that you can see the entire world.) So ironic that they serve asian foods. I might go to this restaurant again to see if it was because of any other reasons such as where we seated. P.S. It's only about two employees I've seen. I hope other employees wouldn't be like them.

Brochettes, Sushis et autres bouchées préparées à la commande et le buffet est bien garni mais pas surchargé, pour être renouvelé régulièrement. Du coup c'est frais et appétissant. Pour le service à emporter rien à redire: facile, rapide et délicieux 😋. L'équipe est agréable.

Planet Sushi in Moscow

Russia loves sushi. Saint Petersburg and Moscow are teaming with “cheap” sushi restaurants, a direct influence from their neighbors to the east. I sat down at Planet Sushi, one of the most popular chains in Moscow at their flagship location directly in front of the Kremlin (beside the massively busy McDonald’s). The restaurant was filled with a light haze of smoke as people quickly gobbled up their business lunches with a cigarette in one hand and chop sticks in another. The service was classic Russian: slow, glum and unaccommodating.

The menu made me laugh as they are preaching the exact opposite of Toronto’s locavore trend. Rather than showcasing local producers their menu features a map which illustrates how much of their food is imported from across the globe. This allure of imported goods makes perfect sense. During the Cold War Russian’s were only able to eat whatever local products were available. With the fall of the USSR and new Russia Federation the luxury of importation makes it mark on many menus.
