Set off on an adventure on this Yarra Valley horse trail ride in the Australian bush with a wine tasting overlooking the Great Dividing Range. Once you arrive, saddle up and meet your fellow horse riding companions.

Within minutes, you’ll be trekking through the Australian bush under a canopy of trees towards a Mountain Hut boasting sweeping views of the Yarra Valley and Great Dividing Range. Be on the lookout for an array of native Australian wildlife including eagles, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and more.

Arriving at a secret mountain top location, it’s time to pop the wine bottles and indulge in a wine tasting of Tokar Estate wines as you soak up the scenery. This extraordinary horse trail ride is suitable for all horse riding levels so come along and experience the natural beauty that the Yarra Valley has to offer on horseback.

What you need to know

• 2.5 hour horse trail ride through the Yarra Valley
• Experienced trail guide
• All equipment
• Wine tasting stop
• This experience departs at 9:30am, 10:30am or 1:30pm.
• This experience is approximately 2.5 hours in duration.
• This experience takes place in the Toolangi State Forest, VIC.
• Please meet at 221 Heath Road, Chum Creek, VIC.
• Long pants and closed toe shoes (e.g. runners or boots) are required
• Strictly no shorts, sandals or gumboots
• Please bring sunscreen
• Dryabone rain coats when riding in the rain are provided
• Minimum age is 12 years
• Maximum weight limit is 95kg per rider. No experience required
• This isn't a private tour. The typical size group is no more than 10 participants in each group. Only small groups are taken on horse trail rides, and as such, we may knock back customers for many rides due to availability
• Horse Trail Rides go out ‘independent of weather’
• Horse Rides are provided with drizabone coats
• It is up to the discretion of the Senior Trail Riding Guide at the horse yards to cancel a ride.
• If a ride is cancelled, options will be provided such as a Credit/Choice of alternative times/days.
• Cancellations made more than two weeks prior to the experience date will incur a $60 cancellation fee per rider, cancellations within two weeks of the booking date will not be refunded.
• Rescheduling a booking more than two weeks prior to the booking date will incur a $60 rescheduling fee per rider, it is not possible to reschedule within two weeks of the booking date.
• If a customer is late or is a 'no show', then a refund or a reschedule will not be provided
• Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
• Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
• Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
