Rishikesh with Kullu Manali Tour is very famous for its versatility. Tourism in Rishikesh is famous for spirituality, sadhus, ghats, river Ganga, temples , ashrams, meditation and yoga. Kullu is a wide valley created by the Beas River among the Manali and Largi. Kullu valley is well known for splendor and magnificent hills covered by Deodar and Pine. Kullu valley is stuck between the Pir Panjal, Great Himalayan range, and Lower Himalayan. Manali is famous for its skiing slopes, horse riding, paragliding snow scooters riding. Kullu and Manali are twin hill stations located very close to each other in Himachal Pradesh. There are a many attractions in Kullu and Manali which attracts tourist from all over India as well as abroad. Religious tourism is also famous due to the large number of temples in Kullu and Manali.

Kullu is small town in Himachal Pradesh State of India. Kullu is located on the banks of the River Beas in Kullu Valley. Kullu has an average altitude of 1,220 mts from sea level. Kullu was famous as Kulanthpitha(end of the habitable world). Kullu was visited by the Chinese monk Xuanzang in 634 & mentioned it as a fertile area entirely enclosed by mountains. Kullu once contained a stupa which was built by Ashoka where the Buddha preached the local people. That stupa was taken away by mughal rulers and reestablished at feroz shah kotla maidan in Delhi. Kullu is one of the most delightful and stunning valley at river Beas. Kullu valley is 80 kms long and 2 kms broad. Kullu is very colorful in spring season with pink and white flowers.

Manali Tour

Manali is situated at an altitude of 2,050 meters in the valley of Beas River in Himachal Pradesh Manali is 270 kms far from Shimla. Manali has population of 30,000. Manali is part of the Kullu district. The British introduced apple trees to Manali. Apple is still best source of income for many people in Manaali. Manali became famous when Kashmir was not safe to visit (in the late 1980s). Manali has pine groves, snow capped hills, whispering forests, cascading water falls and the rapid waters of Beas. Rohtang Pass is famous in tourists visiting Kullu Manali. Rohtang Pass (13500 ft) remains covered with Snow even in summer. Solang Nallah is also famous in Kullu Manali Tour for skiing, horse riding, snow scooter ride and winter sports.

Rishikesh with Kullu Manali Tour Itinerary (11 nights / 12 days)

Day 01: Delhi Meet our representative at Delhi Airport / Railway Station and transfer to hotel at arrival in Delhi. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Morning after breakfast, discover the Delhi. Morning visit the 400-years-old Jama Mosque (the largest in India) and local market. Later visit Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the afternoon enjoy drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's Palace) and India Gate (a war memorial arch built in honor of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War –I). Explore the famous Humayun's Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Qutab Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site- the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet). Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 03: Delhi to Rishikesh via Haridwar (240 kms / 06 to 07 hrs drive) Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to railway station for your train to Haridwar (Shatabdi Express 06:50 hrs). Meet our representative at arrival in Haridwar (11:30 hrs). (Later enjoy in Haridwar sightseeing after arrival. Haridwar is the place where people from across the India visit for pilgrimage and to take a holy dip into the holy river Ganges. Haridwar is an ancient city and it is one of the most sacred cities in India. The diverse nature of the Hindu religion has attracted foreign visitors from all around the world. Here you can closely experience India's complex culture and various Hindu rituals. Haridwar is also one of the four cities where Kumbh Mela is organized. Visit Mansa Devi temple by cable car. After lunch visit Daksh Temple. Later visit Har Ki Pouri (Ganga Ghat) for famous Ganga Aarti, and continue your drive to Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel at arrival. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 04: Rishikesh Sightseeings Early morning before breakfast meet yoga instructor and learn about breath awareness exercise and stretching exercises. After relax breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh. Rishikesh is one of the holy cities in India. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh is gateway to the Himalayas. The spectacular River Ganga is like pert of the city. Rishikesh is a place visited by several yogis and sages. They lived and practiced hard penance here. Rishikesh is world famous as Yoga capital of the world. Visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Bharat Mandir. Evening enjoy Ganga ceremony at Parmarth Niketan. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 05: Rishikesh Early morning again start your day with yoga and meditation class. Later proceed to Shivpuri town (26 kms far) for Rafting in River Ganga. Visit Vashistha cave for meditation. Vashistha was Guru of Lord Ram who meditated here. Later enjoy 18 kms Rafting and reach Rishikesh. Later enjoy Bungee Jumping in evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 06: Rishikesh to Shimla 290 kms / 09 to 10 hrs journey. Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Shimla. Shimla is famous for its natural beauty and tranquility. Shimla is one of the most picturesque towns in north India. Shimla is characterized by show-clad hills, lush green valleys, rivers, dense forest and cool pleasant weather. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 07: Shimla Morning after relax breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing of Shimla. Enjoy the cool atmosphere of Shimla. Visit Taradevi Temple, Jakhu temple, Chandwick waterfalls, Mall, Ridge, Lower Bazaar and famous Kali Temple. Apart from this regular sightseeing you can also just relax your self. You can enjoy little walk in the jungle. Feel your self close to the nature. You can explore pahadi culture of Shimla. Meet the local people and know their lifestyle and culture. Day 08: Shimla – Kufri – Shimla After breakfast from the hotel proceed to full day sightseeing tour of Green Valley, Mini Zoo, Wild Flower Hall, ChiniBanglow, Faggu Valley view, Apple Garden,Indira Gandhi tourist park, Fun World etc. Afternoon move to Jakhoo Temple. Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to Hindu deity, Hanuman. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill, 2.5 km /1.3 miles east from The Ridge, Shimla at a height of 2,455 m above sea level & visit Mall road, Christ Church, Scandal Point, The Wooden Market, Kali Bari Temple and Tibetan Market. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Kufri:- Activity By your own • Green Valley • Mini Zoo • Wild Flower Hall • ChiniBanglow • Faggu Valley view • Apple Garden,Indira Gandhi tourist park, • Fun World • Jakhoo Temple Shimla, • Mall road, • Christ Church, • Scandal Point, The Wooden Market, • Kali Bari Temple and Tibetan Market Day 09: Shimla - Manali via Kullu Valley. After breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Manali. On the way to Manali you will visit Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh dam, Vaishno Devi Temple &Kullu Valley. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner & overnights stay at hotel. On Route: Start early from Shimla so you can spend more time on the way towards Manali and reach before Dark.At 105 KM from Shimla you will reach Bilaspur. After Bilaspur you will reach Harabag , this is the lunch point and you will see many restaurants , Dhabas& also HPMC Juice Factory at right side and after that at your left side you will seeSunderNagar Lake. Photography is not allowed here. After 12 Km you will visit Pandoh Dam at your right side. You will climb up the hill and to your right the total dam view will be visible. Photography is not allowed here. Further 12 KM you will get Anokhi Mata temple. River Beas will be at your right. Further 22 KM from here you will reach Aut town and before that you will pass through a 2.8 KM long tunnel. Just before entering the tunnel the right side road will take you to Jalori pass. Day 10: Manali Local Sightseeing. After breakfast at the hotel proceed to local sightseeing tour, visit “Hidimbi Devi Temple” landmark of Manali, also known variously as the “Hadimba Temple”. It was built in 1553 and an enormous rock occupies the inside of the temple, only a 7.5 cm (3 inch) tall brass image representing goddess Hidimbi Devi. Next is Manu Temple & “club house” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “Vashisth” famous for its hot springs. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel. Manali: Manali is the most favorite destination of tourists from nearby areas as well as from distance places. The hill station – Manali is blessed with nature’s finest gifts. The enchanting valley is so picturesque that it has earned the name. On your 4th day of tour you will visit “Vashisth” Vashisth, a small village 3 kms from Manali located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali. After that you will proceed towards its Hot Water Springs and Temple. The village is also the site of some old temples, dedicated to the great sage Vashisth, and to Lord Rama. The Himachal Tourism sulphur baths are just beyond these shrines. Natural Hot Sulphur Water Springs with two separate bathing tanks for Gents and Ladies, which are always full of tourists. Turkish Style Showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing. The beauty of Van Vihar will completely bedazzle you. Away from the hustle bustle of the busy market, this protected piece of land is maintained by government authorities. The vast forest area has a children's park complete with swings and slides and a small man made pond for boating. Perfect for a luxurious walk amidst nature or a warm afternoon enjoying the soft chattering of birds, the Van Vihar is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. If you are in the mood for a little adventure, you could also head down to the rocks along the river and enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet. If you are here in the evening, you can catch some breathtaking views of the setting sun with the majestic mountains serving as the perfect backdrop. Day 11: Manali – Solang Nala (Valley) Rohtang Pass. After Breakfast at the hotel drive to towards Rohtang Pass or Snow Point (54 km 4 hours journey) from Manali. You will Visit Solang Valley and enjoy may enjoy Paragliding & Ropeway activities there by your own cost. Dinner & Overnight stay in Hotel. NGT Rules & Regulation for Rohtang Pass 1. Allowed 800 Petrol Vehicles every day. 2. Allowed 400 Diesel Vehicles every day. 3. Allowed only 50 Four Strokes Snow Mobiles & 50 ATVs at marked places i.e. Marhi, Beas Nalla, Sagu Fall &Gulaba. 4. Allowed only 200 Horses at marked places. 5. Only Photography & Local Kullu Dress Permitted on Rohtang Top. 6. No Other Activities are allowed in Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley (Nala): SolangNala (Valley) drives its name from combination of words Solang (Nearby village) and Nullah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sport’s most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and Zorbing. Snow melts during the summer months starting May and skiing is then replaced by Zorbing (a giant ball with room for 2 people which is rolled down a 200 meter hill), paragliding, parachuting and horse riding. A ropeway was recently opened. Going to the summit can be possible by ATVs, Ropeway or Climbing (Trekking). Rahalla Falls, The beautiful water fall, at height of 8,500 ft. About 16 km from Manali the start of the climb to the Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 2,501 m. Rahalla Falls, Manali, Himachal, India The Rahalla falls are the result of melting glaciers. It is a natural spot where tourist can view the natural beauty. It is also become one of the famous tourist spot. It lies on the way to Rohtang Pass and the area around the Rahalla falls is marvelous, can't be expressed in words. It provides the very clear view of surroundings. Its surroundings also include silver birch trees, forest of deodar. The fresh and aromatic air provides relaxation, piece of mind to the visitors. Day 12 : Manali – Chandighar - Delhi Departure (510 Km /11-12). After Breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi to catch your train. On arrival drop at Railway Station & return to home with Sweet memories of Unforgettable Haridwar – Rishikesh - Shimla Kullu Manali. Tour End with sweet memories.

The road distance between Rishikesh and Manali is 535 km, while the aerial distance from Dehradun to Manali is 231 km.

If you want to go directly from Dehradun to Manali , there is only one bus that plies between these two cities. This bus is operated by State Transport, among others. The minimum time a bus takes to reach is 14 hours and 30 minutes but it all depends on the road condition because from Chandigarh to Rishikesh takes 7 hours.
