How does delivery work in Belgium? What do I have to do once I receive my bike?
Standard delivery in Belgium costs €49, and Express delivery €79. Delivery time depends on where the bike is stored: allow 2 to 3 working days for Express delivery, and 3 to 8 working days for standard delivery. If you wish to purchase a cargo bike or an accessory, delivery charges may differ.
The bike is delivered with a charger, battery keys and all original accessories (visible in the photos). Your bike will be delivered 99% assembled, so all you have to do is follow our guide to screw the pedals back on, turn the handlebars 90° and retighten the stem using the tools we provide. We'll be happy to assist you via chat if necessary.
How are electric bikes reconditioned?
At Upway, every electric bike passes through the hands of a professional mechanic. The mechanic begins by inspecting 20 different points on the bike, then repairs and replaces mechanical parts to return it to a condition as close as possible to new : new tires, new chain, brake bleeding... The motor, battery and charger, and all electronic components are then diagnosed. The battery is replaced when its life is deemed insufficient.

What payment methods do you accept? Is it possible to pay in instalments?
You can pay by credit card in one or more instalments, free of charge. Please check that your credit card limit is sufficient for the amount of the bike. We also accept payment by Bancontact.
If your card limit is insufficient, you can choose to pay in 2, 3, 4 or 10 instalments free of charge via our partner Alma, or opt for a SEPA bank transfer via our partner Mollie. An invoice will be sent to you automatically after your purchase.
How does the one-year Upway warranty work?
Our one-year warranty covers your bike's frame, battery, motor and electronics. If you experience a problem with any of these components within the first twelve months, we'll take care of repairing your electric bike so you can get back on the road as quickly as possible.
We will redirect you to one of our many partner bike shops near you or, if necessary, arrange for the bike to be returned to our workshops.
When you buy your bike, you can also protect it against theft and breakage (accident, vandalism...), so you can ride with complete peace of mind.
Can I return the bike if I'm not satisfied?
Yes, we fully understand that a purchased bike may not suit your needs. In this case, we'll be happy to take the bike back within 14 days and refund your purchase price, less shipping costs. Return shipping costs 69€.
In order to be returned, your bike must have been used in a reasonable manner (distance covered less than 50 kilometers) and must be in the condition in which you received it. Don't forget to keep the original cardboard box to facilitate the return of your bike.

Comment fonctionne la livraison ? Que devrai-je faire une fois le vélo reçu ?
La livraison standard en France métropolitaine coûte 49€, et la livraison Express coûte 79€. Le délai de livraison dépend du lieu de stockage du vélo : comptez de 2 à 3 jours ouvrés pour être livré en Express, de 3 à 8 jours ouvrés avec une livraison standard. Si vous souhaitez acquérir un vélo cargo ou un accessoire, les frais de livraison peuvent différer. Enfin, nous proposons également de récupérer gratuitement votre vélo en "click & collect" directement à notre atelier de Gennevilliers (92).
Le vélo est livré avec un chargeur, les clés de la batterie et tous les accessoires d'origine (visibles sur les photos). Il arrive prêt à rouler si vous souhaitez vous faire livrer dans l’un des départements suivants : 75, 91, 92, 93. Sinon, votre vélo sera livré monté à 99% et vous n'aurez alors qu'à suivre notre guide pour revisser les pédales, tourner le guidon à 90° et resserrer la potence avec les outils que nous vous fournirons. Nous resterons disponibles pour vous assister via le chat en cas de besoin.
Comment les vélos électriques sont-ils reconditionnés ?
Chez Upway, chaque vélo électrique passe entre les mains d'un mécanicien professionnel. Celui-ci commence par inspecter 20 points différents du vélo, puis procède aux réparations et remplacements des pièces mécaniques afin de revenir à l'état le plus proche possible du neuf : nouveaux pneus, nouvelle chaîne, purge des freins... Le moteur, la batterie et son chargeur, ainsi que tous les composants électroniques sont ensuite diagnostiqués. La batterie est remplacée lorsque son état de vie est jugé insuffisant.

Quels moyens de paiement acceptez-vous ? Est-il possible d'échelonner les paiements ?
Vous pouvez payer par carte bancaire en une ou plusieurs fois sans frais. Veillez à vérifier que le plafond de votre carte bancaire soit suffisant pour le montant du vélo. Si votre plafond est insuffisant, vous pouvez choisir un paiement en 2, 3, 4 ou 10 fois sans frais via notre partenaire Alma, ou opter pour un virement bancaire via notre partenaire Mollie. Une facture vous sera automatiquement fournie après votre achat.

Comment fonctionne la garantie Upway d'un an incluse avec le vélo ?
Notre garantie d'un an couvre à la fois le cadre, la batterie, le moteur et l'électronique de votre vélo. Si vous rencontrez un problème sur l'un de ces composants au cours des douze premiers mois, nous prendrons en charge la réparation de votre vélo électrique afin que vous puissiez reprendre la route le plus rapidement possible.
Nous vous redirigerons vers l'un de nos nombreux vélocistes partenaires à proximité de chez vous ou, si cela est nécessaire, organiserons le retour du vélo dans nos ateliers.
Au moment de l'achat du vélo, il est également possible de protéger votre vélo contre le vol et la casse (accident, vandalisme...) afin de pouvoir rouler en toute sérénité.
Est-il possible de retourner le vélo si je ne suis pas satisfait(e) ?
Oui. Nous comprenons parfaitement qu'un vélo acheté puisse ne pas convenir à vos besoins. Dans ce cas, nous serons ravis de vous reprendre le vélo sous 14 jours et de vous rembourser le montant de votre achat, déduit des frais d'expédition. Les frais de retour sont de 69€.
Pour pouvoir être retourné, votre vélo doit avoir été utilisé de manière raisonnable (distance parcourue inférieure à 50 kilomètres) et doit être dans l'état où vous l'avez reçu. Pensez également à conserver le carton d'origine afin de faciliter le retour du vélo.
Ce vélo électrique est-il éligible aux subventions ?
Pour connaître la liste des aides à l'achat disponibles dans votre commune, consultez le site Mes Aides Vélo en indiquant votre code postal de résidence. Il est très régulièrement mis à jour.
Le vélo électrique doit souvent être considéré comme "neuf" par les organismes attribuant ces subventions : c'est pourquoi seuls les vélos de moins de 10 km acquis par Upway à un professionnel (et non à un particulier) sont indiqués comme éligibles sur notre site. Certaines communes commencent toutefois à subventionner également les vélos électriques reconditionnés par des professionnels comme Upway : c'est le cas notamment d' Ile de France Mobilités à partir de septembre 2023.
Une fois votre vélo électrique acheté, nous vous fournirons ensuite tous les documents nécessaires pour vos démarches : facture, certificats d'homologation et d'identification.
Est-il possible de réserver ce vélo ?
Nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas réserver de vélo en dehors d'une commande en ligne car c'est notamment grâce à cela que nous pouvons vous offrir le plus vaste choix possible de vélos ! Mettre le vélo de vos rêves dans votre panier ne revient pas non plus à le réserver.
Si vous avez un coup de coeur, ne tardez pas à l'acheter : environ un tiers des vélos mis en ligne sont vendus en moins d’une semaine.
