Sum 41 is an awesome band. Had the chance to see them live on a whim when a friend called me up several years ago and just so happened to have a spare ticket. At the time I'd heard several of their songs, but I was by no means a huge fan. Going to the show, the seats were close. I was surprised my friend declined my offer to pay for my half.

These dudes come across as super hyped, but that's the largest reason why I enjoyed this concert so much. You couldn't help but to feel the undiluted energy. It just radiated from the band and transferred over to the audience. Mosh pits galore ensued and I had two beers doused onto me. It was all good though. I laughed it off and just went ahead to embrace it, I jumped right into the center of the bigger one I spotted, as did my friend.

"Fat Lip" is a fave as it is with most fans, I believe. Live, the sound just pierces your soul and you can't help but sing along at the top of your lungs (even if you're totally sober). Made me feel like a teenager again. Really good times.

This band is in my top ten. I'd definitely go and see them again if given the chance. I also adore "Underclass Hero" and "Walking Disaster". While the vocals aren't super strong, their heart and passion definitely makes up for it. Love it.

Hi. I'm sure I would've loved seeing Sum 41 but actually Songkick when I went to buy my tickets of Alt-Tickets, I was given tickets to see With Confidence instead who were playing the same night and at same venue - Rock City, Nottingham. Honestly me and my friend were devastated to not see Sum 41, we were so excited and it was my friend's first concert, but With Confidence, Milestones, Broadside and Safe To Say were all very good so in the end it made up for it. But Songkick, why say you have tickets for Sum 41 then give me a link to With Confidence tickets? I was, and still am so confused by this. Anyways, I'm sure Sum 41 and Hollerado were great, but I don't know, I didn't see.

My favorite band of all time! The first time I got to see them was at a Chicago music festival and I got to meet them and it was a highlight of my life. They were so nice and hilarious. Then I got to meet them again at a tiny show in Dallas at the house of blues and they told stories from the road. Such down to earth guys. I got to be front row for that show and they just thrived in that small room it was such a special experience. They just never disappoint. Their old stuff is what we love and grew up on but their new stuff is just as good. Will always be their #1 fan. Hope to see them as many times as possible.

This was my third time seeing Sum 41 and they were absolutely fantastic! They never disappoint! The only thing I will say is that I found out after I left the concert that they came out for a second encore and played Pain for Pleasure. Probably around 80% of the people had left before then, so I assumed they were done after the first encore. I would just recommend that everyone really makes sure they are truly done before leaving. I also thoroughly enjoyed the openers, who were The Plot in You and The Amity Affliction. Sum 41 is great live, and I look forward to seeing them again and again.

Great concert last night!!! The pit was kinda horrible cause people get totally crazy. But the band was AWESOME! I've been waiting for so long and I don't regret anything! Songs like theirs are meant to be heard and shared at a concert!! I can't wait for the new album and the next concert, I'm definitely going!!

It was the best night of my life! While we were there jumping in Underclass Hero, we couldn't believe it! It was SUM 41!! It was Deryck! In the middle of the concert, Deryck stepped down from the stage to stay with the people!! It was awesome!' I have no words. The best night ever. ❤️ SUM 41

Knapp hinter Rise Against an 2. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Best concert i have ever been too! i managed to get to get to the front which was a full on mosh pit, but it was worth it. the crowd was so pumped and so was the band. you could see in their faces that they were so happy to be back on tour. Can't for new music and a new tour!

Recently, Sum 41 announced their upcoming double album, Heaven :x: Hell , expected for release on March 29 via Rise Records . Heaven :x: Hell is the most ambitious album from Sum 41 yet – Heaven is 10 tracks of snarling high energy pop punk, while Hell consists of ten heavy metal anthems spiked with fret-burning solos, thrashing riffs, and fist-pumping hooks.  The band has been straddling the line of pop-punk and metal for their entire career, and Heaven :x: Hell is a testament to their innovative sound and unmatched skill, proving them as pioneers 27 years after the bands inception.

Heaven :x: Hell is available to pre-save and pre-order now at https://sum41.lnk.to/HeavenHell

Sum 41 shared previously “ Rise Up ” and “ Landmines ”, from Heaven :x: Hell ’s metal Hell side and pop-punk Heaven portion, respectively. The tracks have gained the attention of notable outlets such as Entertainment Tonight, Revolver, Consequence, NME, Exclaim!, BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, KNOTFEST, and countless others.

Earlier this year, Sum 41 announced their breakup after 27 years of making music together – the news was reported on by The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, CNN, Bloomberg, Pitchfork, TODAY, CBS, Billboard, and countless other major news outlets globally. Heaven :x: Hell is aiming for nothing short of greatness, a perfect parting gift from the band to the fans that have supported them endlessly.

Looking back at the band’s storied 27 year career, Sum 41 has firmly cemented their place in rock history with over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple Billboard Charting releases, a Grammy Award nomination, 2 Juno Awards (7 nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, multiple Alternative Press Music Awards, and countless other accolades.

Last December,  NME  spoke with frontman Derek Whibley about their “aggressive” new album, which he called “the perfect way to go out”.

“There’s more to the album than nostalgia,” he told NME . “Even if I tried to write ‘All Killer, No Filler’ again, I wouldn’t be able to. It just doesn’t come out the same. The songs sound like they could be from those eras though.”

Following on from recent single ‘ Landmines ’, Sum 41 also released ‘Rise Up, which Whibley described as “me coming out of hospital 10 years ago, and what happened afterwards.” The singer was hospitalised in 2014 after his liver and kidneys failed due to alcohol abuse .

“That’s something I’ll never stop thinking about,” he told  NME , with ‘Rise Up’ penned about “that struggle of finding the faith to continue on and the strength to build yourself back up.”

Canadian band Sum 41 will be bidding farewell to their fans with a special tour. And what better place to celebrate the end of their European tour than the Paris La Défense Arena? They will be performing in Europe's largest indoor venue on Saturday 23 November 2024.

An exceptional evening awaits fans at the Paris La Défense Arena on Saturday 23 November 2024. Canadian punk rock and alternative rock band Sum 41 will be putting on a show as part of their When The Sum Sets Tour. It's a farewell tour, since the band announced their definitive split in the spring of 2023. It's a chance for fans who have followed the band for over 25 years to rediscover their greatest hits, as well as previously unreleased tracks from their latest album, due to be called ''Heaven :x: Hell''. This will be the band's last concert in Europe, so it's an opportunity not to be missed!

The band was formed in the mid-90s by four 16-year-olds riding the wave of pop punk, which was very popular at the time. They quickly became a success and went from album to album and tour after tour. Over the years, they collaborated with Iggy Pop, Ludacris and took part in the tribute album to Queen released in 2005.

Recently, Sum 41 announced their upcoming double album, Heaven :x: Hell, expected for release on March 29 via Rise Records. Heaven :x: Hell is the most ambitious album from Sum 41 yet - Heaven is 10 tracks of snarling high energy pop punk, while Hell consists of ten heavy metal anthems spiked with fret-burning solos, thrashing riffs, and fist-pumping hooks.

Sum 41 shared previously “ Rise Up ” and “ Landmines ”, from Heaven :x: Hell's metal Hell side and pop-punk Heaven portion, respectively. The tracks have gained the attention of notable outlets such as Entertainment Tonight, Revolver, Consequence, NME, Exclaim!, BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, KNOTFEST, and countless others.

Earlier this year, Sum 41 announced their breakup after 27 years of making music together - the news was reported on by The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, CNN, Bloomberg, Pitchfork, TODAY, CBS, Billboard, and countless other major news outlets globally. Heaven :x: Hell is aiming for nothing short of greatness, a perfect parting gift from the band to the fans that have supported them endlessly.

Looking back at the band's storied 27 year career, Sum 41 has firmly cemented their place in rock history with over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple Billboard Charting releases, a Grammy Award nomination, 2 Juno Awards (7 nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, multiple Alternative Press Music Awards, and countless other accolades.

Sum 41 have announced their final tour, including the Canadian punk vets’ last North American concerts.

The worldwide outing, dubbed “The Tour of the Setting Sum,” will see the band on the road for much of 2024. The itinerary includes separate spring/fall US legs, with The Interrupters supporting both.

The spring outing kicks off April 19th in Omaha, Nebraska, and runs through May 19th in Norfolk, Virginia. From there, Sum 41 will embark on a European tour before returning to the States on September 4th for a gig in San Francisco. The final fall US leg wraps up on October 5th in Las Vegas. The band’s last-ever show is set to follow the tour on January 30th, 2025, in Toronto.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale starts Wednesday (January 17th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code SPOTLIGHT . General ticket sales begin Friday (January 19th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Sum 41  announced their impending breakup back in 2023. In addition to the farewell tour, the band will drop their final album, the 20-track double LP Heaven :x: Hell , on March 29th. The release pairs a pop-punk “Heaven” disc with the more heavy metal “Hell” flip-side.

“Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on,’” frontman Deryck Whibley said upon the album’s announcement. “We’ve made a double album of pop punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”

Sum 41 Announce Farewell Tour, Including Final Show

Sum 41 band photo.

Sum 41 farewell tour dates – Author Charles Ken, Photo via Travis Shinn

Sum 41 are saying goodbye in a big way. The Canadian punk bad has announced their final North American concerts and even their final show. It’s crazy to think about a Sum 41 farewell show, because they’re so much younger than artists such as Kiss or Slayer who have said goodbye. But, when it’s time, it’s time.

The global tour, called “The Tour of the Setting Sum,” will keep the guys touring for much of 2024. The tour roster includes a pair or spring and fall US legs, and The Interrupters will open on both legs.

The spring tour will begin April 19 in Omaha, Nebraska, and run through a May 19 date in Norfolk, Virginia. Then, Sum 41 will head to Europe for a tour and come back to the US on Sept. 4 for an opening date in San Francisco, California. The final fall US leg will end on Oct. 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Then, Sum 41’s final show ever will take place on Jan. 30, 2025, in Toronto, Canada.

Sum 41 first announced their breakup in 2023. They announced the farewell tour, without mentioning dates, and also announced their final album together as a band, a 20-track double album called “Heaven :x: Hell,” out on March 29. The double album features a pop-punk “Heaven” disc and a heavy metal “Hell” disc.

“Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on,'” frontman Deryck Whibley said in a statement regarding the new album. “We’ve made a double album of pop punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for all the Sum 41 farewell tour dates starts Wednesday (Jan. 17) at 10 a.m. local time using the code SPOTLIGHT. General ticket sales start Friday (Jan. 19) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

Docusign CEO says while it’s objectively true that Americans work harder than Europeans, maybe Americans aren’t necessarily happier

Allan Thygesen, CEO of Docusign

In a tech hub like San Francisco, it’s increasingly rare to find a job that will still let you work from home the majority of the week. But at $12 billion company Docusign, that’s still the case—in fact, nobody’s required to come into the office on a Friday.

Allan Thygesen, the CEO of the agreement management platform, spoke to Fortune from the company’s London office as part of a global tour.

The company saw exponential growth during the pandemic—booming by 60% when the corporate world went remote, and contracts had to be signed virtually.

But when the globe returned to “normal,” Thygesen, a father of four born and raised in Denmark, wanted to retain some of the pandemic’s benefits, namely, a more flexible work model.

So the company shed a significant amount of its office portfolio—half of its floors in San Francisco and Seattle—and asked its near-7,000 employees to come in two days a week instead: Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.

No one is asked to come in on Fridays, though the offices are open.

“I would say we’re very light-handed when it comes to enforcement,” he added.

“I don’t think we’ll be introducing anything draconian, I think relative even to the San Fransisco Bay Area and the Seattle area—which are both very tech-heavy and the last bastion of fully flexible work rules—we’re on the very flexible, very light requirement.”

Thygesen’s laid-back approach differs from that of Mark Zuckerberg at Meta who, despite saying in 2020 that half his workforce would be remote by 2030, is now enforcing a three-day-a-week in-office policy or risk discipline.

Amazon pushed a similar mandate , which prompted something of a rebellion within its ranks, while Google’s plan to integrate office attendance with performance reviews has been subject to the ire of its union .

“Any time you change these types of rules, people hate it because, of course, employees want maximum flexibility. It’s good for their personal lives,” he said.

“So there is a balance there between the needs of the company and what employees think is good for them. I do think people have come to understand that being fully remote is good in the moment, but it may not be great for your long-term career development, particularly early in your career.”

Thygesen said he would sometimes go into the office at the end of the week, but he joked that it was a “lonely” experience.

However, the tech boss’s most “intense” meeting of the week—a product strategy review—is invariably conducted online with every contributor chiming in virtually.

“These are very intense, very good meetings and there’s not a particular reason we all need to be in the same place,” Thygesen said.

Thygesen’s meetings have become all the more intense this year after Docusign launched its new Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) which will use AI to create, integrate and analyze agreements and documents more seamlessly.

European vs American ambition

Nicholai Tangen, the CEO of Norway’s Norges Bank Investment Management, has noted that Americans work harder than their counterparts across the Atlantic.

There’s a difference in the “general level of ambition,” Tangen told the Financial Times . “We [Europeans] are not very ambitious. I should be careful about talking about work-life balance, but the Americans just work harder.”

Docusign’s Thygesen—an alumni of Stanford and the University of Copenhagen who now oversees teams working out of offices in India, Australia, America, France, Germany, and Japan, to name a few—has seen firsthand how different regions operate.

He agrees that Tangen’s view is “objectively true,” but qualified: “There’s more to work than how many hours you do. I feel like my European teams work very smartly, they’re very efficient, work tends to be a bit more organized.”

Thygesen and Tangen are correct, according to the data.

According to the  European Union , in 2022 the average workweek of people between the ages of 22 and 65 was 37.5 hours.

The longest working weeks recorded were in Greece—41 hours a week—and Poland—40.4 hours.

By contrast, the Netherlands had the shortest working week of 33.2 hours, followed by Germany at 35.3 hours.

Meanwhile, data from the  International Labour Organization , last updated in January, showed the average hours workers clocked in the U.S. was 38 hours a week.

However, of those employees, 13% worked 49 hours or more per week, outstripping most European nations.

Countries like the U.K. also have a statutory requirement entitling staff to 28 paid days of leave a year—if you’re a full-time employee.

In the U.S., it is not a legal requirement for staff to be given any paid time off; however,  according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics , the average employee who is in their first year of service takes eight PTO days.

Thygesen was also quick to point out that neither nation had made the wrong approach, but they simply had different priorities.

He explained: “These are conscious choices that societies have made about the trade-off between work and leisure time—maybe Americans aren’t necessarily happier.

“They’re certainly wealthier, and that gap has probably widened more over the last decade, but life is a holistic sum of all those things, so having spent time on both sides I see the merits of both.”

Thygesen has a point here, too. The World Happiness Report 2024, released in March, found that four of the top five happiest countries on earth were European, and 14 of the top 20 were also from the continent.

Meanwhile, the U.S. fell to its lowest point since the report began in 2012, ranking 23.

Is Elon right about San Francisco?

Headquartered in San Francisco, Docusign staffers could well form part of a community of tech employees bashing the city for increasing levels of crime and homelessness.

But criticism from the likes of Elon Musk may have skewed the reality that Thygesen, his family and his employees live in.

The Tesla CEO said last year the city was in a “doom spiral” having previously  labeled  downtown San Francisco a “disaster” and likened it to “a derelict zombie apocalypse.”

Three of Thygesen’s four children live in the Bay Area, with the former Google president adding a milder evaluation than Musk: “San Francisco has always had pockets that were kind of rough and had a homeless problem—I do think that area is meaningfully larger now and unfortunately the people there are in worse shape.

“It’s not a good situation, it’s not good for the city, it’s not good for the people who live there, it’s not good for the people who are living on the streets.”

But while San Fransisco has become the “poster child” for the problem, it’s a problem along the West Coast.

Thygesen said: “Our office is nowhere near these zones [in San Francisco], so I don’t think anybody has any concerns about coming in or using public or private transport.

“We actually are closer to the problematic areas in Seattle and there it has been a bit of an issue because there have been minor safety issues and just the perception of it being uncomfortable is worse there. It’s endemic to a number of cities.”

“The world’s most disaster-hit region” was the stark verdict of the World Meteorological Organization on Asia, in a recent report on climate.

And the WMO was just as emphatic about what was to blame for the deadly heatwaves, storms, droughts and floods that hit the region in 2023 — its second-hottest year on record. “Climate change exacerbated the frequency and severity of such events,” said secretary-general Celeste Saulo, adding that it “profoundly impact[ed] societies, economies, and, most importantly, human lives”.

Yet, even while Asia grapples with the impacts of global warming, the region’s largest economies continue to pump out large volumes of the greenhouse gases that scientists say are the main drivers.

China accounts for nearly a third of global GHG emissions, with India, Indonesia and Japan also in the global top 10. According to the International Energy Agency , China’s energy-related carbon dioxide emissions increased by 4.7 per cent last year, and India’s by just over 7 per cent — compared with a 4.5 per cent fall in the world’s advanced economies, to a level last seen in the early 1970s.

So the businesses in this third list of Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders — compiled by the Financial Times and data provider Statista — have faced stiff headwinds in their efforts to curb emissions. Extreme weather and carbon-intensive economies make a challenging task still harder.

As in previous years, the Climate Leaders list focuses primarily on companies that achieved the greatest reduction in their Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity over a five-year period.

Scope 1 and 2 emissions — “core emissions” in the table — come respectively from a company’s own operations and from the energy it uses, while intensity is defined as tonnes of emissions of CO₂-equivalent per $1mn of revenue.

Other factors are considered, too, such as companies’ transparency on Scope 3 emissions, which arise elsewhere in their value chains, and their collaboration with sustainability assessors, such as CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These factors are assigned a score, which is combined with the reduction in emissions intensity figure to produce an overall total for each company.

The editors reserved the right to exclude companies if their broader environmental record — on non-GHG pollution, for example, or deforestation — was sufficiently disputed to undermine any claim to be a “climate leader”. Energy companies prospecting for new fossil fuel reserves fell into this category.

Further details of the methodology can be found in the panel at the end of this article and on Statista’s website .

Japanese professional services company NTT Data is this year’s highest scorer, followed by Hong Kong-based New World Developments and Japan’s Nomura Research Institute.

As in 2022 and 2023, Japan dominates the list, with 54 per cent of companies this year. It is followed by Taiwan and Australia, which each account for 11 per cent. The best-performing sector is technology & electronics, with 20 per cent of companies, followed by financial services, with 10.6 per cent — much the same pattern as the two previous editions.

Though 350 Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders are listed this year, compared with 275 in 2023, this year’s lowest score, 54.2, is higher than last year’s. That is an encouraging development, but it is important to bear in mind that the methodology has several shortcomings.

It prioritises Scope 1 and 2 emissions because it is mandatory to report these, so data is both readily available and comparable. Companies’ Scope 3 emissions are typically far greater but, because reporting remains voluntary and there is no standard metric, definitive comparisons are harder to make — hence the focus on transparency instead of absolute numbers.

And because the intensity calculation is based on emissions relative to revenue, some rapidly growing companies on the list actually increased their absolute emissions over the five-year period. So, this year, we have factored performance on cutting absolute emissions into the scores, for the first time.

Nevertheless, some of the key data this research relies on — companies’ own carbon accounting, plus information submitted to CDP — may be flawed, either due to inconsistent emissions figures or insufficient detail on carbon offsets. To help compensate for this, the figures reported for 2017 and 2022 by some of the biggest emissions cutters, both in terms of intensity and absolute emissions, have been scrutinised by GreenWatch — a sustainability research team based at University College Dublin. Its findings have been added to the table as footnotes.

Overall, Asia — despite being the highest carbon-emitting continent — is making some headway in the fight against climate change. For example, for all its reliance on carbon-intensive coal power, China leads the world in solar and wind power installation. Some analysts think this may help explain a 3 per cent year-on-year fall in carbon dioxide emissions in March 2024 — a development that has prompted speculation about 2023 marking the peak for China’s CO₂ emissions.

However, as scientists point out, more GHGs will only exacerbate climate change, leading to more extreme weather events. Last month, for example, temperatures in New Delhi exceeded 49C , setting new records. The pressure on more companies to become Climate Leaders looks set only to intensify.

A print and online report on the Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024 will be published on June 21, containing articles analysing the issues that this research raises

[1] Compound annual reduction rate (CARR) based on the sum of Scope 1 and 2 emissions and adjusted by revenue growth between 2017 and 2022.

[2] Calculated for 2022.

[3] Absolute change in GHG emissions between 2017 and 2022. Positive values reflect a reduction in emissions, negative values an increase. All the companies on the list have, however, cut their emissions intensity.

[4] Scope 3 refers to indirect emissions, which can be reported for some or all of 15 categories and thus vary enormously. This is why absolute figures are left out here.

[5] CDP is a non-profit organisation that assesses how well companies and other bodies report on and reduce their environmental impact.

[6] SBTi is a partnership between CDP, the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and WWF and helps companies set targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

GreenWatch assessment

[a] This company’s core emissions intensity performance might have been different if the Scope 1 and 2 emissions detailed in its annual report were fully consistent with the figures it submitted to CDP, and if it had provided more comprehensive disclosures on the use of renewable energy products to offset Scope 2 emissions.

[b] This company’s core emissions intensity performance might have been different if the Scope 1 and 2 emissions detailed in its annual report were fully consistent with the figures it submitted to CDP.

[c] This company’s core emissions intensity performance might have been different if the Scope 2 emissions detailed in its annual report were fully consistent with the figures it submitted to CDP, and if it had provided more comprehensive disclosures on the use of renewable energy products to offset Scope 2 emissions.

[d] This company’s core emissions intensity performance might have been different if the Scope 2 emissions detailed in its annual report were fully consistent with the figures it submitted to CDP.

[e] This company’s core emissions intensity performance might have been different if additional information about the use of renewable energy products to offset Scope 2 emissions had been disclosed.

[f] Having reviewed this entry, GreenWatch does not have a material comment on this company’s core emissions intensity performance.

To make comparison easier, we have used the same GreenWatch footnote system as last year; this year no companies fall into categories [b] and [f]

Methodology

Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024 is a list of 350 Asia-Pacific companies that have achieved the greatest reduction in their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity and made further climate-related commitments. These two factors are combined to produce an overall score for each company.

For the first of these, the compilers looked for the businesses whose GHG emissions intensity fell the most between 2017 and 2022. Emissions intensity is defined as tonnes of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of CO₂-equivalent per $1mn in revenue. The 2017 and 2022 figures were used to calculate the compound annual rate of reduction, expressed as a percentage, which contributed up to 80 points out of a possible maximum of 100 points.

For the second, the compilers assigned a score based on: transparency and extent of Scope 3 emissions reporting; reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions; and commitment to net zero, CDP score and collaboration with SBTi. This accounted for up to 20 points.

All Asia-Pacific companies — defined as having headquarters in one of 14 Asia-Pacific countries — with a minimum revenue of $50mn in 2022 were eligible for consideration.

A call for entries in October 2023 invited prospective participants to complete a short questionnaire about their GHG emissions between 2017 and 2022, and their revenue over the same period (or, for banks and insurance companies, net banking revenue or gross premiums written). Statista also conducted independent research, scrutinising data from about 2,000 companies and inviting possible candidates to register.

For businesses with a CDP score, only those with a score of at least B- were considered. Companies that do not work with CDP were still eligible, but for any company annually emitting more than 2mn tonnes of CO₂-equivalent, a CDP score of at least A- was mandatory.

sum 41 european tour 2024

The editors also reserved the right to exclude companies if their broader environmental records, beyond reported Scope 1 and 2 emissions, were sufficiently disputed to undermine any claim to be a “climate leader”.

All companies for which relevant data was found in publicly available sources were contacted so that they could review the data. Of these, and the companies that responded to the call for entries, the 350 with the greatest overall score have made it into the final list of Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024.

Fuller information about the methodology is available from Statista . Although extensive research was carried out, the list does not claim to be complete, as some companies did not publish their figures or did not participate.
