I'm driving into Birmingham - where can I park?

Utilita Arena Birmingham has on-site public car parks - with spaces across North, South and West car parks. However, West car park is for pre-booked and hospitality customers only.

South and West Car Parks are serviced by lifts to each floor. Customers who have mobility needs should park on any odd level of the car park as the lifts will give access to our accessible entrances.

A warning though, these can get very busy when leaving the show. If you don't mind walking, other good car parks include the one at Broadway Plaza, about a 10/15 walk away from the Arena, or Q-Park Brindleyplace which is just a five minute walk away.

Don't forget, Birmingham city centre is a Clean Air Zone , so make sure you check if your car is exempt or whether you need to pay the £8 fee.

Can I bring a bag?

You can bring a bag to the show if you absolutely need to - although Arena management say they would prefer it if you didn't. If you are bringing one it must be no bigger than A4 in size (21cm x 30cm x 19cm) and have a maximum of two compartments.

Rucksacks are not allowed, and all bags are searched before you go in.

Will there be food and drink?

There are a number of bars across both floors of the Arena serving up popular options such as Pravha, Stowford Press, Brewdog and much more, including wines, Prosecco and non-alcoholic options.

For food, there are cheeseburgers, loaded fries with toppings, pick'n'mix sweets and also vegan and NGCI menus available too. Generally, no food or drink purchased outside Utilita Arena is permitted to be taken inside.

Can I bring a banner or poster?

The Arena discourages people from bringing posters, flags and banners to events as they can block the view of people sitting behind you. So if you don't want to run the risk of your poster or banner getting confiscated, it's best not to bring one. Flags and banners with large poles will be taken away by staff for health and safety reasons, as will any offensive banners or posters.

Is there anything else I can't bring with me?

Utilita Arena staff say they just want people to be safe and enjoy their visit. Therefore the following items are not allowed in during Strictly Live: hot food, alcohol, glass bottles, cans, flasks, cool boxes, hampers, large flags/banners, helium balloons, studded belts, dog collars, trouser chains, selfie sticks, sharp/large rings, smoke grenades, flares and fireworks. If in doubt, just leave it at home.

Any other questions? See the FAQs page on the Utilita Arena website . Need some last minute tickets? Visit Ticketmaster to see what show nights and times are still free.

Amy was recently confirmed as part of the 2024 pro line-up for Strictly , after having to take time off last year due to her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

She has publicly documented life following her diagnosis on social media , and will soon talk about her cancer journey in an hour-long BBC documentary .

Amy visited the studio during Strictly 's live shows in 2023 on several occasions, and returned to the dance floor for a group routine in the season finale last December .

She invited her friend Carlos to spend his "first Welsh Christmas" with her family a couple of weeks later, and he shared photos from his time enjoying the festive season with them .

The celebrity line-up for this year's series of Strictly is set to be announced this month, and Shirley Ballas has teased that it's going to be a strong one to mark the show's 20th anniversary year .

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
