Good morning

Good evening

"There's nowhere quite like Paris and it's amazing to watch our guests light up when they see bucket list icons like the Eiffel Tower in real life. Don't forget to slow down and savour the freshly baked pastries from the local boulangerie and mingle with the locals in the sidewalk cafés and markets."

Travel Director

See the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo at the Louvre

You can’t take a Paris trip without visiting the Louvre. It’s the both the largest art museum and the most-visited museum in the world, and you can soak it all in with our special evening experience at the Louvre. You’ll discover masterpieces like the Mona Lisa with your Local Specialist and enjoy the quiet atmosphere without the crowds. Simply magical.

Visit the remarkable church of Saint-Sulpice

Paris is full of spectacular architecture, and the church of Saint-Sulpice may be one of the best. This medieval cathedral is the second-largest church in the city and your Paris travel guide will show you around the stunning facades, stained glass windows, impressive fountains, unique sundial, and the breathtaking organ, one of the largest in the world.

Enjoy a leisurely cruise along the River Seine

As the scenic centrepiece of Paris, you can’t miss exploring the iconic River Seine. We’ll wander along the pretty riverbank by day and take you on a special Seine cruise by night, when the City of Light is illuminated in twinkling lights. Look out for icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame, and relax as you drift along this enchanting river.

Explore the Latin Quarter of Paris

When you travel Paris with Trafalgar, you’ll join a Local Specialist to discover the Latin Quarter, the city’s epicentre of culture, learning and creativity. See the ancient Sorbonne University, one of the world’s first universities, soak up the vibrant atmosphere of this student hotspot, and perhaps even stop by the legendary Shakespeare and Co bookstore.

Experience a traditional Parisian Cabaret

You’ve probably seen the Parisian Cabaret in dozens of movies and photos, but there’s nothing quite like experiencing the real thing. We’ll take you to the world-famous Moulin Rouge Cabaret, where you’ll enjoy dinner, champagne and a dazzling show of 60 dancers and over 1,000 costumes, for an incredible evening you’ll never forget.

Our top 5 things to do in Paris

With so many incredible Paris attractions to choose from, we’ll show you the very best things to do in Paris, from the beautiful Saint-Sulpice to the original Parisian cabaret.

Musée Rodin

Located just steps away from the Eiffel Tower, you can’t miss the spectacular Musée Rodin. Founded in 1916 by Auguste Rodin himself, the museum features the artist’s incredible sculptures within an 18th-century rocco mansion and a stunning three-hectare garden, along with his personal collection of paintings, photographs and ancient artefacts.

Paris Opera & Palais Garnier

If you want to experience the height of Parisian opulence, it’s got to be the Palais Garnier. This extraordinary building is a 1,979-seat opera house constructed in the late 19th-century, and is renowned as the setting for The Phantom of the Opera. Today you can discover its magnificent treasures or even spend a glitzy night at the opera or ballet.

Grand Palais

Located right across from the Champs-Élysées, the Grand Palais is an icon of Paris with its giant glass ceiling and Beaux-Arts style architecture. Its interior is even more thrilling, with national art galleries, science museums and exhibition halls all held under the famous dome, and you can easily spend a day or two here.

Best museums in Paris

When you travel Paris with Trafalgar, we’ll make sure you get your fill of the best Paris museums, from the iconic Louvre to the magnificent Opéra Garnier.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille is the ultimate French vegetarian dish, loved by all for its heartwarming local flavors. It’s essentially a vegetable stew, made with a rich tomato sauce and a rainbow of veggies like zucchini, eggplant and squash, and herbs like basil, garlic and thyme. One bite and you’ll fall in love with the home-cooked ratatouille of Paris.

One of France’s most famous recipes, Coq au Vin features wine-braised chicken served alongside ingredients like mushrooms and bacon. Across the country you will try many regional versions of this comforting dish, which translates fittingly to “rooster/cock with wine”.

French cuisine celebrates both savory and sweet ingredients, not just in the form of croissants. Find true street-food joy in the popular dessert of crêpes, with strawberries, Nutella, bananas and lemon curd just some of the toppings loved by locals and travelers alike. Or, try the national specialty crêpes Suzette with orange zest and caramelized butter.

Best food in Paris

Our Paris holidays are filled with the legendary Parisian cuisine, and we’ll show you all the best places to try your French favorites from fresh croissants to delicate desserts.

Paris in a Day Tour with Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Seine River Cruise

See the mona lisa, sacre-coeur, and moulin rouge with organized transportation and an expert guide.

Want to see the best of Paris in just one day? With long entry lines and attractions spread out over the city, this can be a real challenge. But don’t worry, this day tour makes it easy! Join a local guide to see the city’s iconic highlights, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Sacre-Cœur, Notre Dame, and a Seine River Cruise (Eiffel Tower entry times might fall outside of tour time). With a small group, skip-the-line Louvre tickets, and transport, there’s no better way to see Paris in a day!

Customers with a tour guide on a boat on the Seine River in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower.

  • Meet your guide at Place des Abbesses
  • Basilica of Sacré Coeur
  • Ile de la Cite
  • Lunch break
  • Louvre Museum
  • End at Eiffel Tower

*IMPORTANT* This Paris in a Day tour includes a self-guided Eiffel Tower ticket. Your tour will end around 4pm, but the Eiffel Tower entry could be from 4pm to 10pm. Don't worry, we will contact you in advance with your unique entry time so you can plan. If the time doesn't work for you, you can modify your tour booking up to 24 hours before the tour! The Eiffel Tower comes alive at night-- it's even home to bars and restaurants! For later tickets, we recommend you book a table, which may be a highlight of your trip!

You'll meet your guide this morning in the famous art district of Montmartre for a walking tour of this historic part of Paris, including a visit to the magnificent Basilica of Sacre-Cœur. Along with your small group, you'll continue to the city's literary heartland, the Latin Quarter, where your guide will tell stories of the famous writers who once called this place home. Here, you can also see the famous Notre Dame Cathedral from the outside—it's still undergoing repairs from the recent devastating fire, so entry isn't currently allowed.

Next, you'll catch the metro to the famous Louvre museum, home to the Mona Lisa and countless other iconic works. You'll skip the line at the Louvre so your super knowledgeable guide can show you the museum's highlights without the famously long wait. Finally, you'll cruise down the River Seine by boat, and finish you tour at France's most recognizable landmark : the Eiffel Tower. Learn the fascinating stories about the most iconic monument in Paris, before parting ways with your guide and using your entry ticket to ascend to the second floor, or enjoy a scenic river cruise on the Seine.

Paris in a Day Tour Description

Your 9-hour Paris tour includes:

Guided walking tour of the Latin Quarter and Montmartre neighborhoods

Visit Sacre-Cœur and see Notre Dame Cathedral (from the outside)

Skip-the-line Louvre ticket and guided tour

Free time in Paris for lunch (not included)

Ticket for a 1-hour river cruise on the Seine

Entry tickets to the Eiffel Tower

Metro tickets included

A fun, professional English-speaking guide

A maximum group size of 18 people

Please note that the order of this tour could be different based on ticket times for the Louvre and Eiffel Tower.

Montmartre, Sacre-Cœur and the Latin Quarter

Home of the Moulin Rouge, Montmartre is Paris' famous art district. Your guide will show you the best of the neighborhood this morning, and you'll learn the best spots to return to if you're planning a big night out in the city. In addition to the nightlife of the neighborhood, Montmartre was also the epicenter of the Belle Époque.

Once home to Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Modigliani, the neighborhood produced countless famous pieces of art between the 1870s and 1920s. You will pass the café where Van Gogh painted one his most scandalous works—he dared to paint a woman reading!

After visiting the Basilica of the Sacre-Coeur, you'll follow your guide to the Latin Quarter. Montmartre is the center of art, but the Latin Quarter is the center of literature. You will see the café and bookstore where Hemingway and Joyce spent their ex-pat lives in Paris. Then, you can take photos of the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral from the outside—sadly, the cathedral suffered a terrible fire in 2019 and is still being reconstructed.

Louvre Museum Tour

Skip past the famously long lines at the Louvre and see the museum's most influential works on a 90-minute tour of the Louvre. These works include the two of the most important Greek statues still standing: the Venus of Milo and The Winged Victory of Samothrace . These two famous statues are full of mystery and history, and you guide will bring them to life with stories of their meanings and origins.

You'll also see Eugene Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People. A symbol of French independence, strength and culture, it is the most politically important work at the Louvre. The painting is the most famous artistic depiction of the French Revolution and is often compared to the Washington Crossing the Delaware piece found in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Mystery Behind the Mona Lisa

Why is the Mona Lisa so famous? For starters, Mona Lisa’s expression has been often debated since its creation in the 16th century. Is she happy or sad or playful? Another intriguing thing about Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is that it's the highest insured work of art at a whopping $800 million.

Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece (called La Gioconda in Italian), portrays the wife of a Tuscan aristocrat named Francesco del Giacondo. Though she has been in the Louvre for over 200 years, the portrait became famous when it was stolen in 1911 in a global scandal. Now she is protected with bulletproof glass and personal body guards.

Eiffel Tower

Finally, led by your professional guide, you'll head to the pièce de résistance of this Paris in a Day Tour. The guide will regale you with tales of the tower's construction, its significance to the City of Light, and the initial public reactions to this daring design. After saying goodbye to your guide, with your tickets in hand, you will have the opportunity to savor the magic of the Eiffel Tower.

Paris by Boat

With your tickets in hand, sit back and relax with beautiful views along the Seine. Paris river cruises are a great way to take in the ambiance of the city and get a taste of the luxury that Paris is known for. Cruise around the city and get a new perspective on the iconic landmarks, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame, and of course, the Eiffel Tower in all its glory.

A really enjoyable experience

We really enjoyed our day with the tour group leader, Yulia. She clearly enjoys her job - and gave us a really in-depth commentary on the places we visited. The visit to Louvre was really quite good, and the Seine River cruise really provided another per perspective to the City.

Great way to see the city!

We have two days in Paris and this tour was great. We were tired by the end but really did gfeel like we saw everything we could in a short time. Julie was great. She taught us how to use the metro but made sure we were with her and took the correct stops. We started in beautiful Montmatte. The tour guy staff suggested some bakeries to grab a quick breakfast when we arrived early. Julie knew her was around the crowds and took us on a beautiful tour. She even suggested where to avoid eating and which restaurants were good. She made sure we saw the highlights in the Louvre. We could have spent an entire day there. But she also made sure to explain why certain peices were important, their significance, and what to look for. We saw more then just the Mona Lisa. She brought us to a great spot fir photos near the Eiffel Tower (that wasn’t packed with tourists) before our timed ticket entry to go the the second floor. She suggested restaurants and routes for going other places in the city. When we took the seine river cruise, I knew the bridges we passed under and the buildings we saw and their significance because she had already taken us to see them and explained what they were. We walked A LOT on this tour but saw so much. She even explained each bridge we crossed, the decorations on them, their place in history, etc. Great tour!

Eiffel Tower second floor tickets are included in this tour. If you'd like to head to the coveted summit (with a stop at the second floor), check out our Eiffel Tower Summit Evening Tour .

What if I have concerns about my mobility on this tour?

If you have any doubts about your mobility, we suggest taking a Private Paris in a Day Tour so your needs can be better accommodated in terms of navigating attractions and the pace of the tour. Your tickets will be sent to you via email within 24 hours of your tour departure time. To redeem the boat tickets, please bring them to the Bateaux Parisiens boarding line. This is located below the Carousel at the Eiffel Tower, under the bridge to your right on the river. These tickets are valid for any date for boats between 10:30 am and 10:00 pm so you have lots of flexibility to enjoy this cruise during your time in Paris.

What people love about paris tours.

It was a really good experience. This is my second trip with Eskapas. The first one was a small group tour fully escorted in Italy and it was wonderful. This trip is independent and you are joining at the meeting point to daily group ours. If you have send of orientation, it may be difficult so I recommend yo to take a taxi to reach out to the meeting points. Usually it costs 15-20Euro. The company upgraded our hotel to New Hotel Le Voltaire 4* ,, located in 11th Arrondissement, close to Bastille. It is a correct one, decent breakfast. Don't miss Cimetiere du Pere-Lachaise which is close proximity.
I was kept informed & on promptly basis. A very professional approach by your staff
This was an amazing 3 day tour. Every day just got better and it was the right amount of sightseeing each day. The Chateaux’s were definitely my favourite part of the trip plus of course Mont-Saint-Michel! Leila our guide scores an 11/10. She was really what made the trip so special. Her diligence in keeping us to a fairly strict timetable was worth it so we didn’t miss our scheduled sightseeing. Truly a great trip to see the the Normandy beaches and explore some spectacular sights of France’s history. I couldn’t finish the review without a shout out to our driver “Brian”. It was the cherry on the top to an unforgettable experience ?

Best Paris Tour Packages in 2024

With monument-lined streets, exquisite museums, classical bistros and designer boutiques, Paris is the dream holiday destination for many. Paris tour packages will show you some of the most famous monuments in the world. From the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe and from the Notre Dame Cathedral to the Place de la Concorde, all are stunning, and not to be missed. Of course, the Eiffel Tower is the highlight of Paris packages. A view from its top is captivating, revealing Paris in all its splendour.

Paris packages also offer sightseeing tours covering various museums including the Louvre, Fragonard Perfume Museum, the Centre Pompidou and the Musee d'Orsay. Be it family holidays or honeymoon, whatever you travel to Paris for, the entertainment options are limitless: visit the many bars, enjoy the opera or groove to the many jazz or rock concerts. Another highlight of Paris tourism is shopping - from lively flea markets to lofty boutiques, Paris has it all. The city is synonymous with fashion, and fashion shopping is a “Paris thing”. Paris remains at the forefront of international trends, and visiting designer boutiques and flagship stores is among the top things to do in Paris. You’ll find homewares shops and resplendent art nouveau stores, vintage shops and antique flea markets. Bookshops, and of course, gourmet-food and wine shops galore line the streets of Paris. Paris is a city that never sleeps, and you shall never get bored, not even for a minute.

One of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris is one of the most popular destinations for a European honeymoon. Stroll on a bridge across the river Seine, enjoy a glass of wine at an artistic sidewalk café, visit colourful street markets, and shop at designer stores on your Paris honeymoon.

Paris’s reputation for its cuisine is known world over. Whether you seek a cosy neighbourhood bistro or a Michelin-starred restaurant, you'll find your pick of them on your Paris trip. Dining in a Michelin star restaurant is one of the best things to do in Paris. Enticing patisseries, boulangeries (bakeries), fromageries (cheese shops) and crowded street markets offer a culinary paradise to visitors.

Whether you are couple looking for romantic Paris packages, or considering Paris for your next family vacation, or a traveller looking to explore the art and museums of Paris, MakeMyTrip can find you the right Paris tour packages to choose from.

Best Time to Visit Paris

The best time to visit Paris is from spring to fall, which lasts from March to October. Summer is also the most crowded time – and the most expensive – for Paris tourism. For lower rates of Paris packages and significantly shorter lines at attractions, plan a visit in the fall. Seasonal attractions will surely delight you but if you are travelling on a budget, the off-season is the best time to visit Paris. Keep in mind, though, that Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, seeing more than 30 million travellers yearly. So, no matter what time you visit, there will always be a lot of tourists. Here is a monthly breakup that might help you decide your best time to visit Paris.

March to May: Paris comes alive in spring with beautiful flora all around. February to April is excellent for outdoor activities like cycling, walking, picnics and more. This is the peak season for tourists visiting Paris as the Paris weather is at its best.

June to August: Summer time in Paris is when the city receives more than eight hours of sunshine daily. However, there can be unexpected showers so remember to carry an umbrella with you at all times. Light cotton clothes, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and a bottle of water are some other things you need to carry if travelling to Paris between June and August.

September to October: September to December is autumn in Paris. The average temperature is between 10-15°C and the nights are cooler. Paris packages for travel during this season are relatively lower priced than summer.

November to February: The temperature during these months can drop to 1°C and the Paris weather can be pretty cold. If you plan to visit during this time, be sure to pack enough heavy woolens to help you brave the cold Paris weather. Since there are fewer tourists, the prices of accommodation and transit decrease considerably. This is the best time to visit Paris for budget travelers.

How to Reach Paris

Being the capital of the most visited country in the world, Paris sees a lot of tourists throughout the year. There are three international airports in Paris, namely Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Orly International Airport and Beauvais (Aéroport de Beauvais Tillé).

If you are looking at booking Paris tour packages from India, you can choose from a variety of airlines. Many airlines operate flights to Paris from various Indian cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru etc. Direct flights to Paris from India are operated by Air India and Air France.

Paris enjoys good bus service, both within the city and to and from other cities in France. Eurolines is one of the major bus operators in Paris. There is also Megabus, a budget travel bus operator, which connects Paris with Brussels, United Kingdom, Amsterdam etc.

Paris is linked to all important cities of France by excellently built expressways (also called autoroutes). Traffic is dense, and it is best to travel by public transport. If you do wish to travel by car, it is advisable to hire a taxi.

Paris enjoys excellent railway connectivity to all other parts of France and the rest of Europe, which greatly boosts Paris tourism from all around the world. Paris has six different railway stations, which are not connected to each other but run trains to and from various other cities and European countries. Some of the important trains in Paris include the Train Express Régionale, Trains à Grande Vitesse, the high-speed Thalys, the Eurostar and Intercity trains.

Paris Visa for Indians

Indian travellers visiting Paris or any other city in France for a holiday are required to obtain a France visa before travel. France is a part of the Schengen group of countries and hence the Schengen visa rules apply for France visa. A tourist visa is granted for a period of less than 90 days, and can be applied for up to 3 months before the start of the intended Paris tour package from India.

MakeMyTrip offers visa application assistance as a part of Paris tour packages.

Places to visit in Paris

Eiffel Tower

The most enthralling and mesmerizing of all Paris tourist places is the Eiffel Tower. It finds its place among the Seven Wonders of the World. An architectural marvel, the Eiffel Tower tops the list of places to visit in Paris. It is synonymous with the identity of Paris, and is undoubtedly the most visited monument in the world.

La Dame de fer (the Iron Lady), as the French call it, the Eiffel Tower is truly magnificent and stands proudly at a height of 300 metres. Once the tallest structure in the world, it is now France’s best-known landmark. It consists of three floors, with the first two levels offering restaurants while the top level is for panoramic views of the city. The Eiffel Tower is best seen at night, when the city of Paris glitters below in all its glory. You can also pre-book a visit to the Eiffel Tower as a part of your Paris honeymoon package.

Palace of Versailles

Once the residence of King Louis XIV of France, the Palace of Versailles is one of the three most visited monuments in France. The Hall of Mirrors, the King’s Grand Apartments and the Museum of History of France are located in the Palace and offer insights into the French history. The magnificent palace complex, along with its beautiful gardens and grounds, leave visitors spellbound. Owing to the grand size of the palace complex, a mini train shuttles between the terrace in front of the castle and the Grand and Petit Trianon. This palace is one of the grandest and the most historic places to visit in Paris.

Louvre Museum

A pilgrimage for art lovers, the Louvre or Musée du Louvre is one of the most visited art museums in the world. Home to the iconic painting of Mona Lisa that art aficionados from across the globe come to see, The Louvre is also the biggest museum in the world in terms of the number of exhibits. Located on the banks of the River Seine, the museum showcases ornate traditional architecture, and is one of the most famous Paris attractions. The Louvre houses some of the most famous and in-demand art collections in the world including Venus de Milo and the Victory of Samothrace.

Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris

Also known as Notre Dame Cathedral, Notre Dame de Paris (Our Lady of Paris), is one of the world's most stunning Gothic-style cathedrals. It tops the chart of the most iconic places to visit in Paris and has been the highlight of Paris tourism for ages. One among the connoisseurs of art and architecture, Notre Dame Cathedral is famed for its dramatic towers, spire, stained glass, rose window, statues and sculptures. After a disastrous wildfire struck the cathedral and caused significant damage in April 2019, it has been shut down for visitors. Repair work at a large scale has been started and efforts are being made to restore the structure.

Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe, the world’s largest triumphal arch is a significant Paris attraction. In 1806, Napoleon I ordered the construction of this arch to honour the Grande Armee, and it now makes for a breathtaking center of Paris’ cityscape. The iconic monument is inspired by the arches of Antiquity, and carries some renowned names from the country. If you stop by in the evening, you’ll notice that a flame is lit for the Unknown Soldier. Explore the monument to know its incredible history and national importance.

Champ-Elysees

Soak up the unique experience of Paris on the Champs Elysees, the most stunning avenue in the world. It is located right across The Arc de Triomphe. It is visited each day by nearly 300,000 people, who come to admire its majestic monuments, enjoy a shopping spree, or get caught up in the excitement of the major festive events that are organized here. It is the best place to visit in Paris for fashionistas. There’s always something going on, by day or by night. It is a shopper’s paradise and you will find outlets of all major brands in the world, local as well as international. Your Paris honeymoon package is incomplete without visiting this spot.

Sacre Coeur

Referred to as "that big meringue" by the Parisians, Sacre Coeur rests atop the hill of Montmartre. Over a million tourists flock to visit the structure every year. They climb up almost 270 stairs to the top of the hill, to reach this Basilica. Its gold-leaf heavy, Romanesque and Byzantine-style interiors are a huge hit. However, visitors prefer staying outside on the terraces which offer panoramic views of the city below.

Montmartre is a medieval hilltop village in Paris. You will notice a white building atop a hill, St-Pierre-de-Montmartre, one of the oldest churches in Paris, and a historical landmark in Montmartre. This church makes for the highest point in the city of Paris. St-Pierre-de-Montmartre is built on a traditional Latin-cross plan, and gives a hint of medieval and later styles in its make. A must-visit on your exploration of Montmartre, this historical church with its stained-glass windows is absolutely jaw-dropping. A walk through the artistic neighbourhood of Montmartre is one of the most interesting things to experience during your Paris honeymoon.

Quartier Latin

The Latin Quarter is the intellectual center of Paris. Bookstores, schools, churches, book-clubs, publishing houses, and expensive boutiques characterize the district. It is the best place to visit in Paris for literature lovers. Founded in 1253, the quarter was called Latin because students and professors spoke the language. You will follow the footsteps of Descartes, Verlaine, and Hemingway as you explore. Changing times have brought Greek, Moroccan, and Vietnamese immigrants, among others, offering everything from couscous to fiery-hot spring rolls and souvlaki. Stroll along Quai de Montebello, going through the collection of the Bouquinistes (secondhand-book dealers).

The most entertaining of all Paris attractions, Disneyland is one of the best places to visit in Paris, especially with kids. Disneyland boasts two theme parks, along with entertainment options, shopping complexes and food courts. There are also seven resorts and a golf course within Disneyland, making it a delightful destination for children as well as adults. Relive your favourite Disney moments- enjoy live musical performances, get onto thrilling themed rides, meet your favourite Disney characters, and be amazed by the end-of-the-day parade which culminates in a spectacular fireworks show.

Today, I am your map, dictionary and calculator. I want to tell you how to get the most out of your visit to Paris, without stress, without getting lost and at your own pace.

How to create you own Itinerary in Paris

Discover paris right: official tour guide faqs unveiled, how does hiring an official private tour guide enhance the overall experience of visiting paris.

Hiring an official private tour guide to explore Paris transforms a standard trip into an immersive cultural journey, enriching your experience in several profound ways:

Deep Historical Insight and Storytelling : Paris is a city steeped in history, from its Roman origins to its pivotal role in art, revolution, and global culture. As an official tour guide, I bring this history to life through storytelling, connecting you with the events, personalities, and movements that have shaped Paris. This narrative depth adds layers of understanding and appreciation you simply can’t get from a guidebook or audio tour.

I tailor tours to align with these interests, focusing on what you’re most passionate about. This personalization ensures that your time in Paris is not just enjoyable but truly resonant with your personal tastes and curiosities.

Efficient Navigation : Paris is famously dense, with a multitude of must-see landmarks and hidden gems packed into its arrondissements. I help you navigate the city efficiently, optimizing your itinerary so you can see more in less time. This includes navigating the Paris Metro, avoiding long lines at popular attractions, and knowing the best times to visit certain sites.

Cultural Immersion : Beyond just seeing the sights, experiencing Paris like a local is what truly makes a trip memorable. I share insights into Parisian life, from dining etiquette to the art of café culture, guiding you to the city’s best boulangeries, markets, and neighborhood bistros. This cultural immersion allows you to experience the city’s heartbeat.

Access to Hidden Gems : Paris is filled with hidden courtyards, secret gardens, and little-known museums that remain off the typical tourist radar. With my knowledge, you’ll discover these secret spots, adding a unique dimension to your Parisian adventure that most visitors miss.

Safety and Convenience : Navigating a foreign city can come with challenges, from language barriers to the simple logistics of getting around. I ensure your visit is smooth, safe, and devoid of common tourist pitfalls. This peace of mind lets you focus on enjoying your trip, rather than worrying about logistics.

Interactive Learning : Unlike passive sightseeing, touring with me is an interactive experience. You can ask questions, delve deeper into topics of interest, and engage in discussions that enrich your understanding of Paris and its many facets.

In summary, hiring an official tour guide in Paris doesn’t just show you the city’s sights; it offers a gateway into its soul, transforming your visit into an unforgettable journey of discovery.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland – The International Golf Federation (IGF) on Tuesday announced the fields for the men’s and women’s Olympic golf competitions at Paris 2024. The men’s Olympic golf competition will take place Aug. 1-4, while the women will compete Aug. 7-10. The Olympic golf competitions will be contested at Le Golf National, which annually hosts the FedEx Open de France on the DP World Tour and was the site of the 2018 Ryder Cup.

Once the Olympic Golf Rankings were finalized on June 18 and June 25 for the men’s and women’s Olympic golf competitions, respectively, each National Olympic Committee (NOC) then began the process of confirming their qualifiers for the competitions by June 27 (5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time). Past this deadline, all unused quota places were then reallocated as per the Qualification System for golf.

With 32 countries represented in the men’s Olympic golf competition and 33 in the women’s field, the composition of the Olympic fields highlights the broad global interest in golf and the opportunity to reach new audiences across all six different continents. Golf is looking to continue building upon the success of the previous two Olympic golf competitions at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Paris 2024 will mark the fifth occasion in which golf has been featured as an Olympic sport, and just the third time since 1904.

In total, 38 different NOCs will be represented across both the men’s and women’s Olympic golf competitions, with the United States of America sending the most athletes: seven (four men, three women). The following is the full list of NOCs represented in the fields for the men’s and women’s Olympic golf competitions: Australia, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States of America.

In the men’s field, 10 of the top 15 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, as of this week, are competing in the Olympic golf competition, including all of the top-five ranked players. In the women’s field, all 15 of the top-15 ranked women in the Rolex Rankings, as of this week, are competing in the Olympic golf competition.

Taylor swift performs joe jonas breakup anthem ‘last kiss’ as she celebrates 113th eras tour show.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Taylor Swift included the breakup ballad “Last Kiss” — which is thought to be about Joe Jonas — in her 113th Eras Tour show Tuesday night in Zürich, Switzerland.

The 34-year-old pop star played the “Speak Now” song in a piano mashup with the “Red” breakup anthem “Sad Beautiful Tragic” during the acoustic section of her concert.

While Swift’s teenage breakup with Joe Jonas happened a very long time ago, it’s likely she chose to play the tune because it mentions Tuesday’s date in the lyrics: July 9.

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas in 2008

“I do recall now the smell of the rain, fresh on the pavement, I ran off the plane / That July 9th, the beat of your heart / It jumps through your shirt, I can still feel your arms,” the lyrics whisper.

She previously played the song last year in Kansas City, Miss. on July 8, as there wasn’t a show on July 9.

The “Karma” hitmaker and Jonas Brothers member, 34, dated back in 2008 for a handful of months before their relationship soured.

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas in 2008

Swift infamously put her ex on blast during a November 2008 interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” when she hinted that he broke her heart via a short phone call.

“Some day, I’m gonna find somebody really, really, really great, who’s right for me … When I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful and when I look at that person, I’m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,” she quipped.

The following year, the JoBros released the track “Much Better” with their album “Lines, Vines and Trying Times.”

The song seemingly responded to their breakup with lyrics reading, “Now I’m done with superstars / And all the tears on her guitar.”

Of course, one of Swift’s earliest hits is “Teardrops on My Guitar” — the second single from her debut album.

However, Swift visited “Ellen” again in 2019 and admitted her calling out Jonas “was too much.”

“We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy … just teenage stuff there,” she added.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner

The “Cake by the Ocean” hitmaker appeared on ITV’s “Lorraine” with his brothers the same year and said it was “nice” to hear Swift feel remorseful about the public blow.

Plus, during a 2022 performance in Las Vegas, Jonas changed the “Much Better” lyrics to, “Now I’m cool with superstars,” showing that any beef was behind them.

Swift even befriended Sophie Turner when she married her ex in 2019 — and possibly referenced their first child in her 2020 “Folklore” track “Invisible String,” in which she sings, “Cold was the steel of my axe to grind / For the boys who broke my heart / Now I send their babies presents.”

Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour

She also provided a place for Turner to stay in New York City when her and Jonas’ divorce news broke in September 2023.

Plus, the 28-year-old actress attended Swift’s Eras Tour in London last month with her beau, Travis Kelce, and others.

While Swift confirmed she will officially wrap the record-breaking tour in December, Jonas has plenty of time to catch a show before then.

Paris 2024 Olympic Games: 10 unusual things to do in Paris

From the homoerotic tour of the louvre to gustave eiffel’s secret’s apartment, there’s so much in paris that’s beyond the obvious..

Well, well, we all know the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre wherein lives Mona Lisa, Arc de Triomphe, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg Gardens… But there is a Paris that not many know of - catacombs, cemetery, bunkers and a secret apartment of Gustave Eiffel in the Eiffel Tower. (Also read: Paris 2024 Olympics: Where to buy tickets, stay, how to get around and other essential details )

This July/August, if you are in Paris for the Olympic Games, walk past Mona Lisa, Rodin, Picasso, Montparnasse and explore an unusual Paris.

Gustave Eiffel’s Secret Apartment

Did you know there is a room on the top of the Eiffel Tower? Yes, this was Gustave Eiffel’s apartment - a 1,076 square feet room that included a living room with a table, a couch, a piano, three small desks, a kitchen, a bathroom with a sink, and a separate toilet cubicle. No bed, though. That explains why Gustave Eiffel never slept in this apartment. Do not miss the wax recreation of Thomas Edison gifting Eiffel the first sound recording device here in 1889.

Les Catacombes de Paris

In the late 18th century, Paris was reeling under a health crisis stemming from the city’s cemeteries. That’s when it was decided to move the human remains to an underground site - the former Tombe-Issoire quarries under the plain of Montrouge. The site was consecrated as the Paris Municipal Ossuary in 1786, and then came to be known as the Catacombs. Opened to public in 1809, there are 131steps to go down and 112steps to climb up the Paris Catacombs that is 20 metres deep (think of a 5-storey building).

This semi-private tour (maximum number of guests: 6, Minimum age: 18 years) with reserved entrance hours walks one through the depiction of not only homosexuality but also masculinity and nudity over 9,000 years from Mesopotamia to 19th-century French paintings. The ground floor is devoted to writer George Sand and includes portraits, furniture, and jewellery from the 18th and 19th centuries.
