Comedy trailblazer and actor Dane Cook announced ‘Fresh New Flavor’. Produced by Live Nation, the massive 36-city tour kicks off on August 30 at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas making stops across North America in New York, Houston, Atlanta and more before wrapping up in Denver at Paramount Theatre on December 14.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with artist presale beginning Tuesday, April 30. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, May 3 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com.

Jesse Cook Announces New Album 'Libre,' U.S. Tour Kicks Off January 2022

Jesse Cook — the multi-Platinum/Gold award-winning and internationally acclaimed producer, composer, and guitarist — has announced this 11th studio album, Libre , will be released worldwide on Friday, December 3 via Outside Music/Redeye. The album’s title track is out everywhere today.   The 10-track Libre combines Cook’s iconic Spanish guitar flair with Algerian multi-instrumentalist Fethi Nadjem, modern trap rhythms and 808 beats. “I wrote and recorded Libre during the pandemic when, like most people, I was longing for freedom,” Cook shares of the new project. “My music was my escape from the four walls that surrounded me, and the storm that was swirling outside.”   Eager to get back on the road, Cook’s “Tempest II” tour is set to touch down in the U.S. with the first date being January 19 in Spokane, WA at the Bing Crosby Theater. Subsequent dates have Cook touring through the west coast and Midwest with more shows expected to be announced. View the complete tour itinerary here.   The inspiration for Libre came from a long summer-day drive with his 14-year old, Cook reveals. “My daughter entertained me with her favorite playlists, much of which were trap and 808-inspired. I loved them too, and a question was planted in my mind: ‘what would my music sound like mixed with those sounds?’”   He wasn’t short on material to draw from; it’s been more than 25 years since the internationally-lauded virtuoso first stepped onto the scene with his now-iconic release, Tempest. In the time since, he’s come to hold ten Gold and Platinum studio albums with a combined sales of 2+ Million copies, five concert DVDs and live discs, five PBS specials, and multiple awards — a JUNO win, 11 nominations, three Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, a Gemini, and an Acoustic Guitar Magazine Player’s Choice Silver Award.

The digital convergence of the past several years has also resulted in Cook’s music streamed in rather impressive numbers across a series of platforms; by September 2021, his Spotify stats had surpassed 55+ Million, and plays on Pandora soaring beyond the 300+ Million milestone. YouTube’s universally visual appeal has also grown steadily for Cook’s connection with audiences, with his channel accumulating upwards of 25+ Million views since 2010.   It was this ready-set relationship online with his legions of fans worldwide that inspired Cook through the unexpected over the course of the past 18 months. Spokane is second stop for comedian, actor Dane Cook on his latest tour

Fresh humor is coming to the Fox Theater next week with Dane Cook and his “Fresh New Flavor Tour.”

The longtime comedian and actor launched the 36-city tour Friday in Las Vegas.

The Lilac City is his second stop and first of several shows in the Pacific Northwest.

At 52 years old, Cook has a long history in the entertainment industry, appearing in several films, such as 2000s “Good Luck Chuck,” “Dan in Real Life,” “My Best Friend’s Girl” and “Mr. Brooks.”

In an Aug. 20 interview , Cook revealed it’s been more than a decade since he last appeared in a movie but that he’s “gearing up to do one now.”

“I’m carnivore dieting to get myself down to fighting weight,” he told Boston Magazine .

According to IMDB , Cook is collaborating with director Greg Coolidge on a comedy film, “Guys Night,” in preproduction.

In 2022, Cook released a top-charting comedy special, “Above it All,” with director Marty Callner.

The Thursday , Sept. 5, show is recommended for ages 16 and older, with Cook appearing at 7 p.m. Tickets start as low as $35 for balcony seats and go as high as $244.90 for the more expensive of the two VIP packages.

Stand up comedy is usually not my cup of tea. I always feel awkward when watching comics make jokes that are just not funny at all.

Dane Cook, though, is one of the very few exceptions. He is probably one of the most popular comics in the world. I remember in high school, just a few years ago, he was constantly talked about in class. Even my teachers knew about him. So when 2 of my friends and I found out he was going to be performing very close to us, we all decided that we had to try and get tickets. We knew it would be tough, considering how popular he was, but we were lucky and bought 3 of the last tickets available. The seats weren't that great, but it didn't really matter to us.

The crowd was absolutely HUGE, loud, energetic, and downright giddy. There was almost constant laughter. Dane would say something that made at least 3/4 of the crowd laugh at least every 5 or 6 seconds. He was wearing his usual outfit that we all see him wear on Comedy Central, a pair of jeans and a T shirt. Anyone who watches Dane knows he is a very hyperactive performer, constantly moving around the stage, constantly changing the tone of his voice, switching from screaming to whispering, whatever. He is definitely one of the funniest dudes alive and we had a great time. Everyone there seemed to have a great time. My favorite bit from him was his one night stand bit, hands down. Hilarious. Great show!

In 1841, British missionary Thomas Cook convinced a British railway to run a special train to a temperance meeting, then proceeded to find passengers for the trip, an event regarded as the beginning of organized tourism. Within a few years, Cook was setting up excursions on a regular basis, and by the century's end, the Thomas Cook & Son travel agency was orchestrating travel around the world. The agency's tours were famously well-organized, but they were also known for herding travelers hurriedly from location to location. A Cook's tourist might see an impressive array of famous sites, but often only in superficial glimpses. Over time, English speakers started using Cook's tour for any hurried tour, and later, for any rushed activity or cursory review.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Tamron Hall is in Chicago this weekend celebrating the launch of a new cookbook and new season of her daily talk show.

The Tam Fam is kicking off a September to remember with a star-studded list of guests for its exciting sixth season.

This new season promises to bring you more inspirational, entertaining and hot button conversations.

The two-time Emmy Award-winning television host is out with a new cookbook that she co-authored with James Beard-Award winning culinary producer and chef Lish Steiling.

Hall will be at Williams-Sonoma in Lincoln Park Saturday.

Hall joined us in the ABC7 studio Saturday morning to give us the scoop.
