Victory Cruise Lines Announces New 2022 Itineraries

Victory Cruise Lines has expanded its 2022 itineraries to offer cruises to destinations along the southeastern coast of the United States, including Mexico, the Yucatán Peninsula and also Alaska.
Some new itineraries include the Savannah, GA to Halifax, NS cruise, a 17-day excursion in April 2022 that sails up from Savannah to the Canadian border, visiting historic colonial cities along the route. In September and October, guests can enjoy the Autumn in New England cruise from Boston to St. John, New Brunswick (or in reverse), visiting Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and Bar Harbor along the way.
From May to September, guests can take the Alaska Insider cruise onboard the cruise line's first-ever expedition cruise ship, the Ocean Victory, from Vancouver to Sitka on a thrilling 12-day adventure.
Travelers who prefer warmer weather but would like to sail aboard the Ocean Victory can take the Pacific Paradise cruise, which begins in San Diego, CA and ends in San José, Costa Rica after 17 days in April or October 2022.
"Our team is eager for guests to experience new immersive itineraries that will be offered in early 2022 departing Northeast Florida and the Yucatán Peninsula, filled with unique offerings and one-of a-kind experiences," shares John Waggoner, chairman of Victory Cruise Lines and American Queen Steamboat Company. "As we prepare to explore the Great Lakes, Canadian Maritimes, coastal New England and Alaska, we are committed to providing unparalleled small-ship cruise experiences."
The cruise line has also recently announced its Spring Sale 2022 , including up to $4,000 in savings on select itineraries when booked by June 30, 2021. Fares start at $3,799 per person.

American Queen Merges with Victory Cruise Lines
- Sarah Bretz, Contributor
- September 28, 2021
- Cruise News
American Queen Steamboat Company has announced that it has merged with sister company Victory Cruise Lines, and the brands now have one new name: American Queen Voyages.
Offering a large variety of cruise itineraries in North America, American Queen Voyages is comprised of the new following brands: American Queen Voyages River, American Queen Voyages Lakes & Ocean, and American Queen Voyages Expedition.

Embracing its new tagline “Discovery Runs Deep,” American Queen Voyages invites guests to throw away the guidebook and head off the beaten path for unique experiences in different parts of North America.
“Through a decade of transformation, American Queen Voyages has surged from the great American rivers to include lakes, ocean and expedition experiences,” said Shawn Bierdz, president, American Queen Voyages.
“Today, we are American Queen Voyages and embrace this simple but important expression – Discovery Runs Deep. As we move into this new chapter and introduce our version of encounter travel, we uphold the originating vision of our company’s founder and chairman, John Waggoner and his unwavering belief in the renaissance of U.S. river cruising and close-to-home adventures.”
Embracing its Mississippi River and paddlewheel roots, the newly imagined brand celebrates its growth from operating its singular namesake vessel, American Queen, to expanding to a seven-vessel fleet with the acquisition of Victory Cruise Lines.
Looking ahead, American Queen Voyages will operate eight vessels by 2023 and plans to deliver experiences throughout America’s heartland rivers, the Great Lakes, and the Pacific Northwest, as well as Canada and the Eastern Seaboard, Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula, and Alaska.

American Queen Voyages River

American Queen Voyages River will be led by namesake U.S.-flagged ship American Queen, the largest riverboat in the world. Longer than a football field and towering six decks in height, American Queen is a marvel of modern engineering.
The vessel offers convenient departures from river port cities including Memphis, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Minneapolis.
In April 2014, American Queen Steamboat Company began serving the Pacific Northwest with American Empress, and added American Duchess to the Mississippi River in 2017. The newest boat to join the American Queen Steamboat Company fleet was American Countess, which made her debut in March 2021.
American Queen Voyages Lakes & Ocean
Formerly Victory Cruise Lines, American Queen Voyages Lakes & Ocean encompasses the brand’s sailings in Canada, the Great Lakes, New England and the Eastern Seaboard, and Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula.
Identical 202-passenger ships, formerly Victory I and Victory II, sail these regions and will be renamed Ocean Voyager and Ocean Navigator.
American Queen Voyages Expedition

American Queen Voyages Expedition launches the brand’s advance into expedition cruising.
Comprised of newly-built 186-passenger vessels, the brand will operate all-inclusive cruises to Alaska on Ocean Victory in 2022 and Ocean Discoverer in 2023.
The brand-new, expedition-style Ocean Victory will operate 12 and 13-night journeys through less-traveled regions of Alaska’s Inside Passage, led by an expedition team. Explorers will deploy kayaks and Zodiacs with expedition leaders, view wildlife from sliding observation platforms, witness marine research by California Polytech University students in real-time, and have conversations with First Nation leaders.

Victory Cruise Lines
Victory Cruise Lines offer unique sailings in North America and are highly recommended for discerning travellers and lovers of small-ship cruising.
They represent a fantastic alternative to both traditional river and ocean cruising, guaranteeing that there is no better way of exploring America’s Great Lakes, the St Lawrence Seaway and coastal Canada and New England.
All voyages with Victory set sail on one of two elegant small ships; the M/V Victory I , which was built in 2001 and recently refurbished in 2017, and the new M/V Victory II , which entered service in spring 2018. Both ships have the capacity for no more than 202 guests and offer a refined onboard experience similar to that of a boutique European hotel.

The itineraries generally last between 7 and 10 nights, meaning there is always the option to extend your stay in the region to allow for greater exploration.

By: Sherry Laskin · Updated On: November 14, 2021
In case you missed it, Victory Cruise Lines – a small ship cruise line – was recently purchased by American Queen Steamboat Company. Now, Victory Cruise Lines is on the verge of expansion. And this includes building the new Ocean Victory and adding Alaska cruises to their itineraries.

American Queen Steamboat Company recently announced it will add a third ship to Victory Cruise Lines, the 200-passenger Ocean Victory . With a little over a year until the launch of Ocean Victory, some details about this small ship and its Alaska Inside Passage expedition cruises have been released.
What we know about Ocean Victory
Victory Cruise Lines has partnered with California Polytechnic State University marine biologists, scientists and naturalists among its expedition team of 19 who will lead excursions, provide education lectures and act as a resource for all guests.

Ocean Victory will feature 93 staterooms, of which, 68 will have balconies. Nine staterooms will have French balconies and 16 staterooms will have panoramic windows. Keeping with a 2-to-1 guest to crew ratio, there will be 100 crew members to welcome the 200 passengers.

Victory Cruise Lines – Canada, New England, & Great Lakes

What to Expect from a Victory Cruise
In addition to some of the largest cruise lines in the world, there are also a few small-scale companies that offer scenic cruises in one of North America’s most beautiful regions—the New England and southeastern Canadian coasts, as well as the Great Lakes. One of them is Victory Cruise Lines.
This small cruise line has only two vessels, both of which can accommodate up to 202 passengers and 84 crew members. This very high crew/passenger ratio results in an exceptional customer service. From the moment guests step on board to the end of their cruise, they’ll experience a pampering worthy of the fanciest hotels.
Both the M/V Victory I and the M/V Victory II ships sail the Canada, New England and Great Lakes itineraries.

Victory Cruise Lines sails to three main regions: Canada, the New England coast and the Great Lakes. Some or all of those regions may be combined in one cruise. Below are each region’s destinations. Note that not all individual cruises stop at every destination. Check out the Victory Cruise Lines websites for detailed itineraries.
- Toronto, Ontario
- Niagara Falls
- Milwaukie, Wisconsin
- Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin
- Green Bay, Wisconsin
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Detroit, Michigan
- Chicago, Illinois
- Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
- Kingston, Ontario
- Tadoussac, Quebec
- Quebec City, Quebec
- Montreal, Quebec
- Boston, Massachusetts
- Portland, Maine

The Victory Cruise Lines Difference
Victory Cruise Lines is neither a river nor an ocean cruise line. They’re something in between, which is exactly what sets it apart from almost all other cruise lines. Their two small 202-passenger ships are equipped to sail along the rugged coasts of New England, but also up and down a major waterway like the St. Lawrence River and around the huge Great Lakes.
Both ships feature a design that immediately makes guests feel at home. A welcoming atmosphere allows them to relax, wind down, indulge and enjoy some of America’s greatest cruise destinations . The promenade offers the chance to stretch one’s legs, while cozy nooks and corners are great for retreating with a good book.
A Canada, New England or Great Lakes cruise with Victory also comes with fantastic cuisine. Foodies will love the culinary variety served up each day, while people with dietary restrictions aren’t left out either. Additionally, on-board lectures and on-shore excursions provide in-depth destination information as well as memorable experiences.
Last but not least, cruises with Victory are also all-inclusive. This means that everything from shore excursions to all meals, beer and wine is included in the price.

Typical Cost of a Victory Cruise
Victory Cruise Lines prices vary from roughly $2,500 to $5,000 per person. This wide range is due to the variety in dates, length of individual cruises and specific destinations.
- French Canadian Great Lakes, Nova Scotia & New England : from $2,499 ─ Request Price
- Lawrence Seaway & Jewels of French Canada : from $4,700 ─ Request Price
- French Canada & Great Lakes : from $2,499 ─ Request Price
- Great Lakes Grand Discovery : from $3,989 ─ Request Price
At the time of writing this post, these are the minimum costs of the four available Victory cruises to Canada, New England and the Great Lakes.
Why You Should Consider a Canada, New England, or Great Lakes Cruise with Victory Cruise Lines
In addition to Victory Cruise Lines’ intimate ships, personalized service and superb food, they’re exceptional because their small vessels can get to places other larger cruise ships simple cannot. This opens up a whole array of small, less-visited cruise ports all over the eastern U.S.-Canada border region. This alone is a good reason to opt for a Victory cruise over a packed cruise with a major cruise line.

2 of the biggest cruise companies specializing in US sailings are merging

Two of the five biggest cruise companies specializing in small-ship voyages in U.S. waters are merging.
The parent company of American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines on Tuesday announced it would combine the two brands into a single cruise entity that offered a far wider mix of itineraries than either of the two brands have offered individually.
American Queen Steamboat Company until now only has operated U.S. river cruises with a fleet of four paddlewheelers. Victory Cruise Lines until now only has operated lake and ocean trips in North America with a fleet of two small ocean-going vessels.
For cruise news, reviews and tips, sign up for TPG's cruise newsletter .
In the wake of the merger, the company will be known as American Queen Voyages and offer an expanded mix of river, lake and ocean trips.
"We will pull [all the vessels] all under one company, one fleet, one brand and one experience," Shawn Bierdz, the executive who will serve as president of the combined company, said Tuesday at a press conference in Miami to announce the merger.
The press conference took place Tuesday afternoon at Seatrade Cruise Global, the cruise industry's annual meetup.
In announcing the new brand, Bierdz said its combined fleet would include two new expedition ships that are scheduled to debut in 2022 and 2023, respectively. That'll bring the total fleet size to eight vessels. The two expedition ships originally were scheduled to join the Victory Cruise Lines fleet.

American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines are both owned by San Francisco-based Hornblower Group, which owns a wide array of ship-related businesses around the world including day-tour boats in many U.S. cities and a marine services company that operates, maintains and repairs government and privately owned vessels.
Founded by marine industry veteran John Waggoner in 2011 with just one vessel, American Queen Steamboat Company over the past decade has grown into one of the largest operators of overnight riverboat cruises in North America. It became part of the bigger Hornblower Group when Waggoner and a longtime partner combined a number of marine-related businesses together three years ago. Hornblower then bought Victory Cruise Lines.

Waggoner, who also was at the press conference, will serve as chairman of the new American Queen Voyages brand.
Waggoner is credited with almost singlehandedly bringing back the overnight river cruise business on U.S. rivers after he and his wife, Claudette, purchased American Queen Steamboat Company's original vessel -- the iconic, 436-passenger American Queen -- in 2011.
At the time, the 1995-built paddlewheeler was in mothballs after a previous owner had gone out of business, and other overnight river cruise vessels that had operated on U.S. rivers for years also had shut down operations.
Many industry watchers thought at the time that a successful comeback of river cruising in U.S. waters was unlikely.
"When Claudette and I purchased it we could have sworn that was going to be the only boat that we were going to purchase, but we were wrong," Waggoner said, drawing laughter from an audience of cruise industry insiders who were familiar with the rapid growth of his company over the past few years. "It's been an interesting 10 years, and we're only getting going."
Company executives at the press conference on Tuesday said the new American Queen Voyages brand would operate cruises under three sub-divisions:
- American Queen Voyages River: This division of the brand will include the four river vessels that previously made up the American Queen Steamboat Company brand. Led by the company's namesake, the American Queen, it'll offer river trips on the Mississippi River complex and in the Pacific Northwest.
- American Queen Voyages Lakes & Ocean: This division of the brand will include the two 202-passenger coastal cruise vessels that, until now, have made up the Victory Cruise Lines fleet. Formerly called Victory I and Victory II, they are being renamed Ocean Voyager and Ocean Navigator. The vessels will offer voyages to Canada, the Great Lakes, New England and the Eastern Seaboard, and Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula.
- American Queen Voyages Expedition: This division will focus on expedition cruises to Alaska and Central America using two new, 186-passenger expedition ships that will debut in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The ships will be called Ocean Victory and Ocean Discoverer. In Alaska, the vessels will focus on travel to less-visited parts of the state's Inside Passage region with a seasoned expedition team leading adventurous outings. The ships will carry kayaks and Zodiac boats for exploring.
The combined company will offer voyages to 127 different ports, Bierdz said at the event.
In response to a question from TPG, the executive who will oversee the combined brand's sales and marketing said the merger will make it easier to talk to customers about all the things that the previously separate brands offer.
"Now there's the opportunity to talk about them all together and [to talk about] the breadth of offerings that we have," said senior vice president of sales and marketing Kari Tarnowski.
Tarnowski also noted that customers now will know that "the product delivery whether you're on river, lakes and ocean, or expedition [trips] will be the same."
Bierdz added that the company would be merging the two separate websites that it now has for the two brands, which would "be more efficient." In another plus, Tarnowski added that the company soon would be launching a new loyalty program that covered all of the vessels in the combined brands.
American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines have been two of the five largest cruise brands with a particular focus on U.S. river, lake and coastal voyages. The others are American Cruise Lines, UnCruise Adventures and Alaskan Dream Cruises.

View Deck Plan

Atlantic Dining Room
Decks: 4 Atlantic 3 Lobby
Experience the ultimate in elegant dining - the service, food and atmosphere - while dining at sea in the Carnival Victory Atlantic and Pacific Dining Rooms.

Carnival Deli
Deck: 9 Lido
Looking for a little taste from the old neighborhood? Pile 'em high at the Carnival Deli. Enjoy old time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, grilled Reuben, or roasted turkey breast on a country roll. Our sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved and served fresh with cole slaw or relish. Come by, satisfy your craving for a great sandwich and make sure you don’t forget the kosher dill.

Chop Sticks
Give the forks and knives a break and grab some chopsticks as you enjoy this bold and flavorful Chinese culinary experience. Help yourself to delicious dishes like sliced beef honey chili, five spice and oyster glazed seafood, pork or chicken cellophane noodles, shrimp fried rice and so much more — served with crispy vegetable rolls. The food at Chopsticks is so flavorful, you probably won’t want to share.

Deck: 3 Lobby

Grand Buffet
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included (along with the rest of your meal, by the way) in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction — drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favorites like steak, roasted duck, scallops and prime rib.

Mediterranean Lido Restaurant
Decks: 9 Lido 10 Panorama
Featuring a nice variety of casual dining options like Mongolian Wok, Chef’s Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli and more, the Lido Restaurant has something — or more likely, at least a few somethings — to satisfy your craving. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus food options for everyone, you can enjoy your personal favorites in company of family and friends for lunch or dinner… or even breakfast! It’s also where you can find our pizza, soft serve and frozen yogurt — all open 24 hours a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.

Pacific Dining Room
Savor delectable gourmet cuisine in the elegant setting of the Pacific Dining Room.

Pizza Pirate
Tossing dough is an age-old art passed down the generations. Lucky for you, someone passed us the secret to the perfect pie. While aboard, this is the place that will shiver your timbers and warm you to the bone, 24 hours a day, with a Margherita, Funghi, Prosciutto, Pepperoni or Quatttro Formaggi pizza served with a delicious Caesar salad. Savvy? Then it’s the pirates’ life for you!

Sea Food Shack
A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll or a platter — Seafood Shack’s the place to cast your net. Imagine a New-England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. On a Carnival cruise is where you’ll find this shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!

Blue Iguana Cantina

Guy's Burger Joint

Bonsai Sushi Express
Deck: 5 Promenade

Deck: 4 Atlantic

Decks: 3 Lobby 9 Lido
Our stage shows are designed to razzle and dazzle. Featuring talented singers, musicians and dancers performing crowd-thrilling numbers in extravagant costumes with awesome sets and scenery, it's like catching one of the best shows on land. All performances are created to ensure that every night feels like opening night. And best of all, since shows are included in your fare, it's like having top-dollar tickets to the hottest show in town, absolutely free.

South China Sea Club Casino
Winning big in the casino is big fun, and your next stop is celebrating with a top-shelf drink. Located right off the casino floor, the casino bar serves up your favorite cocktails, beer and wine, making this the perfect spot to celebrate with family, friends… and maybe even total strangers.

Indian Library
With wall-to-wall activities, most people wouldn’t think of their cruise vacation as a great time to read a book, but you’ll find the bibliophilic faithful stretched out on deck chairs, enjoying the sun, sea breeze… and a page-turner. Forgot to bring a book? E-reader battery just died? Every Carnival ship features an onboard library stocked with the good stuff. For the silent types, it’s a great place to read, but if the roar of the ocean is more your soundtrack, the library is a great place to find a good read to devour, al fresco.

Club Arctic Dance Club
Dance. Dance. Dance. The party is in full swing at Carnival Victory's Club Arctic. Show off your moves and make new friends in the process. It's fancy footwork fun in this hot-spot.

Dance Floor
Decks: 4 Atlantic 5 Promenade
When you’re on a Carnival cruise, there are plenty of places to bust out your moves when the mood strikes: in the dance club, at a deck party, in line for tandoori. Some people are born with all the right moves, but the rest of us need a little instruction to smooth the sharp edges off of ours. That’s why you’ll find a host of free dance classes that sail along with you, helping you make the most of your cruise… which is perfect because a cruise is just the kind of vacation that puts you in the dancing mood!

Internet Cafe
Is vacation a time for disconnecting? Yes! But isn’t it a great time to stay connected and share the good times you’re having with everyone back home? Also yes! That’s why your Carnival cruise gives you options for just how in-touch you want to stay. Looking to share every moment as it happens, hashtag it up and get all the Likes? You’re gonna love our onboard WiFi, which lets you do the social thing and connect your phone, tablet or laptop wherever you are on the ship. Or are you looking to check in every now and then — have a look at your email, check the news and send a note home? Stop in to your ship’s Internet Café, sit down at a computer and enjoy the kinda-connected life. Vacation purist looking to get away from all the news feeds and trending whatevers? We dig your style — a Carnival cruise remains the disconnectedest kind of vacation.

King of the Sea Pool
Deck: 10 Panorama
The King of the Sea Pool area, on the Carnival Victory Panorama Deck, has a Twister Waterslide that's three-decks high, which is perfect for splashin', playin' and slidin' -- Fun for all ages.

Siren's Pool and Bar
Located on the Lido Deck, this is just one of the Carnival Victory's three pools.

Triton's Pool and Bar
Passengers can bask in the sun and can beat the heat with a refreshing dip in this grand pool.

Wading Pool
Deck: 12 Sun
POOL DAY! Whether today's the day for a bit of a dip, a dash of splash or even some swimming — or just a serious poolside lounging session — your Carnival cruise has just the pool for you. In fact, pools are so important to a great cruise that we designed many of our ships to have two of them. At an aft pool you'll catch a breeze, plus a sea view featuring the ship's wake, while midship pools have an grand view of a different kind: the big screen's right there for the viewing. And no matter which you find yourself chilling in, the sunbeams are yours for the soaking.POOL DAY! Ah, imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer's zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but well-manicured fairway... plus one cactus, a treasure chest... and wait, is that a windmill in the way? Just who designed this course anyway? Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small! That's precisely why you'll find a course on every Carnival ship, where you can hit the holes and take in everything you’d expect, like the sights and the sounds... plus the seagulls.

Carnival's Seaside Theatre
Night time isn't the only time to see stars on your cruise. Day or night, find a spot on deck and check out the huge poolside screen — it's Carnival Seaside Theater™! Hit movies, live sporting events, concerts and even cartoons for the kids are just some of what you'll find featured at this large-scale outdoor entertainment zone. Grab a copy of the FunTimes and check the day's listings... then grab a friend or three and get ready to kick back and enjoy.

Virtual Sea
If you love to play video games we've got just the spot for you - no matter your age - it's called the Carnival Victory Virtual Sea. Enjoy our video arcade which is equipped with the latest high-tech video and arcade games.

Our photo gallery is located on the Carnival Victory Atlantic deck and loaded with some of your best "Fun Ship" moments. Pick your favorites; then take home your fondest and funnest memories.

Your parents deserve a nice vacation… but then again, so do you. So let’s let them go do their thing while you do yours. Where to? Club O2. Hang out and do stuff like watch movies, listen to music from this decade, play sports and video games, join karaoke jam sessions… maybe even have a pool party or two, all with other high schoolers ages of 15 to 17.

Shore Excursions
As much fun as you can have aboard our ships -- and that's a whole lot -- we know that the ports are a big reason you chose a Carnival cruise for your vacation. Make the most of your time there with any of our wide variety of shore excursions.

The Fun Shops of Carnival
You'll find the perfect gifts for friends, family or yourself at the duty-free shops of Carnival located on the Carnival Victory Promenade deck - everything from t-shirts to high-end timepieces, lockets to your favorite spirits.

Deck: 11 Spa
A trip to the salon is an opportunity to relax, to chat with others, to focus on yourself. It’s about more than just getting your hair or nails done… but it’s definitely about getting your hair or nails done! Even though you’re on vacation, you won’t have to settle for anything less than the salon style you’re used to back on land. And these good looks go beyond the usual — we even offer services like teeth whitening… great for taking those ‘I’m on vacation and I’m looking great!’ smiles to the next level.

Fitness Center
We have some bad news for you — your ship has a gym. In other words, there’s no excuse for leaving your fitness routine back on land. That’s great news, however, for your body, which will definitely benefit from all the extra energy that vacationing pumps directly into you. And let’s not forget the extra time you’ll have, since you won’t be waking up and spending most of the day at the office or anything like that. If those were some of your go-to excuses, we’re sorry, but we all know this is important. Why not treat yourself to some of our fitness classes — you might even have a little fun while you do something great for yourself!

Massage Room
Cruising always feels good, but it doesn’t usually — ooh, right there. Right where? Sorry, we’re at the onboard spa, where they do these amazing massages by hand. But they don’t just stop there — they’ve got tools to enhance the benefits too. Select from different hands-on experiences featuring seaweed for detox, herbal poultice for energy, bamboo for deep tissue penetration and hot stones for — ahhh — for perfection. We know you’re all about feeling good, and so are these massages.

Carnival Seaside Theater

When families cruise Carnival, even the smallest fish in the pond have a big, awesome time. Okay, so it’s actually way more than just a pond — it’s Camp Ocean. At Camp Ocean, 2–11 year-olds stay busy, keep active and have fun as they enjoy all new ocean-themed activities and entertainment made for kids. We put campers into supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label that’s sure to raise the sails on camaraderie at sea. The littlest little ones — ages 2 to 5 —join the Penguin colony and engage in activities like Musical Icebergs and Ocean Bingo… even learning a thing or two about buoyancy! The little-biggers, 6 to 8, are the way-cool Stingrays, who might be found enjoying Pirate Game Night, making sea salt art or even designing their own aquarium. The big fish are the Sharks — ages 9 to 11 — who really sink their teeth into playing Marine Life Trivia, creating a giant ocean mural, and scoring big with games and sports competitions. Our counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time.

What does the “C” in Circle “C” stand for? Well, “chill,” “connect” and “cool,” just to name a few. It’s where young teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more, in the special Circle “C” area or around the ship. It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever.

Virtual Sea Video Arcade
If you love to play video games, you’re in luck. Our video arcade boasts a huge array of games, and is open to players of all ages, all night and all day. So get some tokens from the vending machine and let the fun times begin. Challenge your friends to a game, or just see if you can beat the top score. After all, with the video arcade open 24 hours and an entire cruise ahead of you, you have plenty of time to try.

Guest Services
So you're in the mood for some good eats, but you’d rather stay in your comfy, cozy stateroom? Really, who could blame you? Simply pick up the phone and order something from our tasty room service menu. And since you get hungry when you get hungry, room service is available any time of the day (or night) and delivered right to your door. Best of all — and you may not believe this — the food's even included in your fare.

Alchemy Bar
For the perfect antidote to all that pre-vacation stress, try a unique cocktail custom-concocted by our mix-masters.

Coral Sea Cafe
Traditional and delicious Italian refreshments combine with striking, modern décor in Carnival Victory’s Coffee Bar/Gelateria, where guests can treat themselves to a selection of gourmet coffees, freshly-baked pastries, and many tempting gelato flavors.

Play it again, Sam. Or Diana. Or whatever your name is. Because this is the bar where you call the shots – and the songs. Then join the sing-along for a hand-clapping, foot-tapping, finger-snapping good time. Don't feel like flexing your vocal cords? No worries. Shy songbirds are welcome here, too. Somebody at Carnival knows just what you need, and it's pretty much exactly the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat. Look, you'll still be on the same ship as the kids, the hoopla, and all the Carnival-style excitement… but you could easily forget, because when you’re at Serenity you could not be further from it all. The world you'll find yourself in is one of complete peace, sea breezes, swaying hammocks and, of course, a nearby bar. It's the place to get done the kind of stuff you just can't seem to do anywhere else — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all.

Jogging Track
Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.

First impressions are important — everyone knows that. We’ll let you in on a little secret: that’s why it’s so important to us that the atrium, your first taste of your Carnival cruise, tastes like ‘wow.’ From the moment you step aboard, the atrium — the heart of the ship — simply screams “welcome aboard!” It screams it with hustle, with bustle, with music and with high ceilings featuring panoramic views of the whole scene from the upper decks. This 360-degree funspot is also the home of the Guest Services desk, the place you go if you have questions for one of our certified fun experts… about just about anything that’s on your mind.
